A year later, Setsuna, Michiru a.k.a Sailor Neptune, and Hotaru a.k.a Sailor Saturn, in Sailor Senshi form, sneak through the front doors of the Crystal Palace with their weapons drawn, guarding Haruka a.k.a Sailor Uranus, who is holding something tightly to her chest and looking about, cautiously. Also, it was indeed quite early, and they did not want to disturb anyone, nor alert any of the royals to their presence...until they were ready. Being private people, this is why only Setsuna and Hotaru were selected to aid them. "How is she doing?" Hotaru whispered, turning to Haruka.

Haruka looked down at the thing in her arms, which, at first, appeared to be a bundle of blankets.

"Still asleep." Haruka breathed a sigh of exhaustion and relief.

"You cannot hide this for too long, Haruka, Michiru," Setsuna whispered sternly.

"I know..." Haruka continued to look down at the bundle in her arms as she thinks more about this decision.

"Everything will be alright, I promise." Michiru smiled, holding one of Haruka's hands between her's.

Haruka nodded, a tiny bit of her strong personality returning. She loved Michiru more than anything and trusted her intelligent foresight, but she knew the other girls well too and worried how they would react to what she and her lover had just decided to do. It wasn't rocket science: Haruka and Michiru would have to adopt if they wanted a child, but they never made it public WHEN exactly they would do it, not even Neo-Queen Serenity or King Endymion. Right now, in Haruka's arms, is a snoozing, baby girl! While Haruka and Michiru adored her, they did not want the other girls to make a scene when they found out because it would not be appropriate for the child of Uranus to expect to be cooed over.

How did Haruka know this child is Uranus? The baby was born on March 27th, one of the windiest times of the year (Wind is one of Haruka's elements) and, it was not clear why this other part happened, but barely visible on the baby's forehead in mustard yellow glowed the symbol of Uranus! What made this so peculiar is this child did not have any blood relation to Haruka, but the planets were known to choose their own Guardian at times. Setsuna and Hotaru escorted the two to their room and left. Before she went into her room, Hotaru turned to the couple.

"Don't worry about tomorrow. The others will respect your wishes." The young Guardian of Saturn assured.

Haruka and Michiru nodded. Hotaru acknowledged she had done the best she could to comfort them with one more nod and walk into her room. Deciding she'll have to tell everyone outright tomorrow one way or another, she gets herself and the new baby settled into sleep.

"Goodnight, sweetie." Michiru kisses the baby's head tenderly. "Goodnight, Haruka." Michiru snuggled up to her soulmate to sleep.

"Goodnight, Michiru." Haruka wrapped her arms around Michiru in a hug, then looked over at their baby. "Goodnight...Holly."

Holly is the name the baby's mother had given her. Michiru had suggested keeping it, but Haruka had wanted to change it. Yet, as Haruka thought more about it, Holly sounded like jolly: A feeling Haruka's heart always had when with Michiru. So, needing a name to introduce the baby with by tomorrow, why not keep the name? At least, for now...

The next morning, after breakfast, Haruka announced she and Michiru had a surprise.

"We ask you not to coo over her too much as we want her to learn to grow up observant, serious, independent, responsible, patient, polite, calm, friendly, and intelligent." Michiru reminded the girls and their husbands, which only the Inner Senshi had.

When the group figured out what she was referring to, they erupted into forms of congrats and cheers. Michiru accepted this all with a smile, but Haruka did not want them acting like children around her daughter, the ACTUAL child. Waiting until the celebratory noise quieted down, Neo-Queen Serenity thought it best if the couples came in, one at a time, to meet and greet Holly, which both Haruka and Michiru were thankful for.

"Mom, can I meet Holly too?" Trisha, now 5 years old, asked, worried because Setsuna already meets Holly, it might be pointless for Trisha.

"Of course. Is that alright with you, Haruka? Michiru? My queen?" Setsuna asked Holly's parents AND one person, who had the final say.

"We don't mind." Michiru knew Haruka was not comfortable with the young Guardian of Revolution and the Underworld handling their daughter. Still, Trisha and Holly were going to be teammates one day, so they may as well bond right now.

"As long as Haruka and Michiru agree, I see no reason to deny Trisha a new friend." Neo-Queen Serenity replied.

Trisha tried to keep her cool, but she could not conceal the excitement in her eyes at finally having a friend! Due to this, Setsuna and Trisha got to meet and greet Holly first! In Uranus and Neptune's room, Michiru placed Holly into Sestuna's arms, and Setsuna knelt to give Trisha a look. Holly looked between the two similar females and giggled.

"Hi, Holly. You and I are going to be best friends and teammates. She's so tiny." Trisha commented.

"All newborns are. As she grows, we'll see more and more of Haruka and Michiru in her. Your going to grow up as strong and beautiful as your parents, aren't you, Holly? Yes, you are." Setsuna could not help coddling Holly a tiny bit, but she knew Haruka didn't want that, so she did not drag it out too long.

Next is Hotaru, but Holly didn't seem to like her as she screamed and bawled when Hotaru entered the room!

"W-What's wrong?!" Hotaru exclaimed.

To diffuse the situation, Haruka took Hotaru out of the room.

"Hotaru, I think your connection to Death and Destruction might be upsetting Holly, but she's only a baby. As she grows, she will learn not to judge you that way." Haruka saw the fear in Hotaru's eyes but did not want her worrying.

Meanwhile, Michiru sang to the baby to calm her down as Leta entered with her husband, Kent.

"What happened?" Leta asked.

Michiru shook her head, "Holly will get used to Hotaru."

Thankfully, Holly seemed to like all the other Senshi and their loves and, of course, Neo-Queen Serenity and the cats. It was impossible to stop everyone from spoiling Holly a little, at least, in terms of affection. One day, a dark creature jumped out and attacked Holly, but Hotaru rushed to her rescue, and since the young soldier had never hurt Holly in any way, shape, or form, Holly happily bonded with the girl. Also, Holly seemed to bond even better with Trisha too. Neo-Queen Serenity hoped this would continue with her friend's children, so whenever she had Rini, as she remembered meeting her from when she was Usagi/Sailor Moon, she would already have a friendly team.
