Gaby's Countdown Part 2
"More than one hundred dollars is missing from the register, Papá." Gaby answered.
"I now know you didn't steal from us, Gabriella." Eduardo said.
"And, I know that if I want something bad enough, I should save my own money for it," Gaby said. "speaking of, I've already saved up fifty dollars from allowance, Navidad, and birthday money! I could give it to you and Mamá because of the theft."
"¡Tonterías, Gabriella! Nonsense, Gabriella!" Eduardo scolded sharply.
At the airport, Alex Fernandez, Lenni Frazier, Jamal Jenkins, Casey Austin, Tina Nguyen, and Hector Carrero were waiting for the Baker family.
"Wow! Gaby will be so surprised when she discovers that her Prince Charming has moved back to Brooklyn from Sidney!" Hector exclaimed.
"Will she ever!" Lenni agreed.
"Jamal, who is this guy we are waiting for anyway?" Casey, Jamal's cousin asked.
"His name is Rob Baker, Casey," Jamal explained. "he and his family moved to Australia about a year back."
"I get it now! Thanks, Jamal!" Casey exclaimed.
Lenni checked the time on her watch.
"Oh! Where the heck are you, Rob?" Lenni asked.
Suddenly, passengers were disembarking from the aircraft as the Ghostwriter team finally saw Rob.
"Hi, guys!" a cheerful voice exclaimed.
"Rob!" Hector exclaimed.
"You have returned!" Lenni exclaimed.
"Gaby will be so surprised to see you for as well as on her birthday!" Alex said to Rob.
Rob looked at the rest of the team, "Gaby isn't here?" he asked Alex.
"Of course not, Rob!" Hector disagreed.
"We thought your move back to Brooklyn would be a nice surprise for her." Casey said to Rob.
Rob looked Casey straight in the eye.
"And, who are you?" Rob asked.
"Rob, this is my younger cousin, Cassandra Austin, however we just call her Casey," Jamal introduced. "Casey, this is Rob."
"Pleased to meet you, Casey." Rob said.
"Pleased to meet you too, Rob." Casey said.
