J.J woke to the sounds of soft beeping and someone talking to another. "It is strange how he ended up with broken ribs and end up in a park," J.J didn't recognize the voice so it must have bellowed to a doctor. J.J didn't mind that a doctor was in the room, but he was worried about the fact that he was in a hospital, he hates hospitals.

"I don't know how he ended up there sir. My friends and I were just hanging out in the park when we found him," J.J heard the voice of his father. J.J opened his eyes and let out a small groan, but he was glad that no one heard it. However, the doctor smiled at him making his father turn around. J.J stared at his father. It seemed so weird to see one of your parents being a teenager right in fount of you.

"Hello," J.J said in a slow voice that shook a little. He didn't want it to shake in front of his father, but it did anyway.

"Hello," his father said back. "How are you feeling?" he asked. J.J didn't answer right away for he kept looking at his father who had a small smile on his face. J.J let out a calming breath and smiled back at him before he said:

"I'm fine I guess. I've had worse trust me," J.J said with a small laugh, but he winced at his ribs. His father sighed and looked at the doctor who left the room. Soon the father and son fell quiet.

J.J didn't know what to say to his father who was quietly looking around just as nervous as him. J.J knew his father to be shy, but he didn't realize it was this bad. "Um," J.J said slowly and making his father look at him.

"Yes?" Tommy said playing with his hands. J.J smiled inside when he realized that this part hasn't really changed that much.

"Why did you help me?" J.J asked after a few minutes. Tommy looked at him and smiled before he nodded.

"Because you were hurt, and we couldn't leave you there. How did it happen?" Tommy asked him. J.J let out a breath and closed his eyes.

"It's a long story that I don't really want to share," J.J said slowly. 'I'm sure you'll find out when and if I get back to my time.' J.J added in his mind. Tommy sighed but he nodded in understanding. J.J knew that he might understand that J.J didn't want to talk about it.

"Alright. Well, um, where are your from?" Tommy asked J.J who smiled at him before he ran his hand through his black hair and nodded.

"Reefside," J.J said simply. He knew that the best way to do this is not to lie because he knew that his father and the Original Rangers will find out one way or another. Tommy nodding and stood up.

"Right, I should get the guys. They would want to see you awake," Tommy said before he walked to the door however he stopped with his hand on the doorknob when he heard J.J's Morpher go off. Tommy turned around and looked at J.J's uniform and raised an eyebrow. J.J knew that eyebrow raise. "What's that?" Tommy asked walking back over to the bed and watched as J.J reached over to his holster and gave Tommy a cheeky smile.

"It's um," J.J tried to say when it stopped. J.J cursed under his breath. "It's nothing. I would love to meet your friends um, you never told me your name," J.J said quickly. His father looked at him with his eyebrow still raised.

"I'm Tommy. It's pleased to meet you J.J," Tommy said before he left the room.

J.J waited for the door to close before he opened his Morpher and sighed. "Sky is going to kill me," J.J muttered before he waited for it to go off again. When it did J.J let out a breath and sighed. "Hello, Cadet Oliver here," J.J said calmly but he knew that he was in trouble and nervous.

"Why didn't you answer and where are you? You are supposed to be in the medical wing," His boss Sky said on his Morpher.

"It's a long story, sir," J.J said with a cheeky smile but there was guilt in his eyes. He heard Sky sigh on the other side of the line.

"I'm listening Oliver, make it quick though," Sky said in a calm voice. J.J sighed before he looked to the door before he told him everything. When he was done he heard Sky sigh again and clear his throat.

"Ok, when you get back here you must head back to the hospital wing understand? I'm also going to tell your mom and dad about this," J.J sighed but he nodded anyway.

"Yes sir," J.J said even though his voice shook.

"I know you hare hospitals because of your father but J he is fine now remember," Sky reminded him making J.J sigh. He was not wrong but J.J still hates them.

"Yes sir. Um, the other rangers are going to find out that I'm—"

"Also, a Ranger. Yes I know don't worry J, everything will work out in the end and maybe you should tell them about you being a ranger,"

J.J nodded before he saluted and sighed. "Cadet Oliver out," J.J closed his Morpher and looked at the door when he heard a small nock. "Come in," he said before the door opened to reveal the other rangers however they all had shocked looks on their faces. At that moment J.J knew that they must know something.

A/N: Wow I'm so sorry I haven't been working on this story at all. I was upset that Netflix took mostly all of Power rangers off there but hey now I have another place to watch it.
