Old Enemy, New Guide

Junior wakes up hoping it was all a dream. But alas, it is not. He is alone on a lifeless planet. He still possesses great power as did his parents. A power that had once been the White Dino's was now his alone. "What would Speckles do?" Junior asks himself. He glows bright and opens up a portal. "That's it, I will go back and stop myself from committing this terrible atrocity." He leaps through the portal, only to find himself in the same time and place. "Come on, you can do better than this." He tries again, and finds himself in the same place again. This happens many times until he is exhausted.

"Am I trapped here? Is this my punishment? Did I deserve this? I don't know what to do?"

Junior collapses and cries. He has not felt this helpless since One-Eye threw his sibling off a cliff…"That's it!" A voice yells in his head. "It is a long-shot but I have nowhere else to turn."

Junior closes his eyes tight, with a massive thud a gigantic dinosaur foot hits the ground. It is Pink-Eye. A practical joke he had once played on his father. Pink-Eye, not the kindest of names for a T-Rex, approaches Junior and speaks…

"Hello there Junior, you've got yourself in a bit of a pickle haven't you?" "I know, I don't know what to do? As a child, One-Eye tormented and murdered my father's family, almost killed me. But rather than hold onto the hate we felt for him, I built you in my mind to be his complete opposite. A friend and protector I could turn to. Please, I need your help." Junior begins to cry again.

"Hey now, don't sweat it kid. There's no place we can't claw our way out of. You have power and understanding beyond imagination. You'll figure it out, just remember how it all started…"

"I had a horrible vision of many worlds and many lives colliding. Everything we knew reversed itself. Everything opposed. Up was down, black was white, love was hate. You get the idea? When I awoke I was not myself, I boiled with rage and resent. But I was also at peace, I had never felt a greater sense of purpose. Then I sent my entire world into oblivion, and I LOVED it. Then I was myself again. I felt pain and regret like never before. I don't know what else to tell you."

"It was a scene…FROM HELL."

"Well, I don't know what the HELL you want me to say?" Said a very startled Pink-Eye. "But do not despair. There is one who can give you the answers you seek. But you will have to travel far to find him. At the bottom of the deepest pit, beneath the center of the universe, at the farthest reaches of the known reality, you will find him. All you have to do is wish it and the portal will take you there. Remember Junior, you are the White Dino now. You have all the power you need to fix this. I wish you luck."

And with that, Pink-Eye vanishes. Junior feels less despairing and lost now, for he has a direction to travel. "All I have to do is will it to happen." Junior closes his eyes tight again, a portal opens up before him. But this one is unlike any other. It is a portal into the deepest recesses of his own mind. A place many try to reach but few have ever succeeded. "Very well then, away I go…"

Junior drops into this portal to he knows not where…
