Note: Sorry if this chapter is boring or just bad in general . But anyways I hope everyone had a lovely evening or day whatever!

" I am sorry for your loss ," every single funeral guest would say before they put their offerings of red spider lilies or the like at the foot of the two gravestones.

" Yoriko , why don't you and your friend go do something fun," I said while shoving a credit card into my little sisters trembling hands after yet another half assed condolence nearly caused her to wail.

" But Mari… its Papa and ...Mama I don't want to leave them."

Ignoring Yoriko tears I peered over her shoulder at her glaring friend and said ," You hate me right now I get it but for my sister's sake make sure she stays away from here for a few hours at least."

After a moment of silence her glaring friend nods in agreement and tries to gently lead Yoriko away from the grief stricken scene.

" Yoriko suck it up and leave, that's what everyone here will have to do soon. There isn't a grave waiting for you so Mama and Papa will have to be left behind. Unless you would be content with being buried alive ," I hissed after my little sister escaped her friend's hold and declared that she would stay no matter what.

Her lips were quivering and her eyes were a misty sea by the time my finally words had darted out of my mouth.

" Are you sad that they're dead ," My sister manges to ask in a mostly steady tone.

My previously empty green eyes become bright with venom at the sound of that inquiry.

She shrinks away from me when I instinctively raise a fist to strike her down with.

Thankfully my blood thirsty green gaze does not get replaced with the demon one during this tiny moment of rage.

My fist falls to my side just as quick as it rose but still a flash of a camera captures this transgression forever.

" Go somewhere just get out of here ," I commanded them before turning on my heel and storming away from this useless show of grief.

But I stop abruptly after only walking a few feet from the fresh grave sight as a new beast of wrath whispered bloodthirsty desires into my ears.

" Stop stalking me with those little cameras. I have already given you a good story and plenty of headline ideas that can ruin my image ," I growled as my nails burrowed into my black dress in an attempt to satisfy their intense need for destruction.

I shot the paparazzi a sweet grin over my shoulder before promising that nothing but ruin would await them if they continued to follow me.

It's amazing that one emotional threat and a sweet grin is all it takes to make the paparazzi back off.

Though it was more of plain luck that everyone of my stalkers today seemed to be a veterans of their field .

They all had observed me long enough to know that I was one crazy 'human' that honored her promises without mercy.

" I am sorry Yori for how I acted . Please just go do something fun. I just can't stand seeing you cry anymore ," I said with each word cursed with a nearly unstable desperation.

Tears gathered in and soon fell from my eyes.

I wiped them quickly from my cheek looking over at the gathered guests with a mixture of embarrassment and silent apologies.

The guest seemed to have been moved by the tiny one act play that they had unknowingly been the audience to.

The sound of strangers choking sobs and genuine declarations of concern shadowed me as I raced out of that hell with heels in hand.

I was only a few steps from my hidden car when the white reaper seemingly appeared out of nowhere offering me a small bouquet of red spider lilies without a single condolence falling from his lips.

My features formed into a glare in the midst of my uncomfortable heels falling to the concrete with a faint thud.

" I wish the legends about the red spider lilies weren't all plain bullshit ," The words flowed from my lips with a tired sort of venom as I yanked the flowers from white reaper.

He was calm about my rudeness even while he silently observed the brutal murder of his gift.

" Which of those legends would you want to be real ," The reaper asked just as I finished ripping the last flower to pieces.

Their little shredded corpses all found themselves laying forgotten next to the equally unwanted heels .

" Are you here about the ghoul that killed my parents," I asked with my arms crossed silently daring the reaper to demand to know the answer to his softly asked question.

" No, I am not here about Themis ," He answered in his normal calm collective way but I could just tell he was fighting the urge to roll his eyes at my continued anger fueled actions.

" You were never quite sane when it came to dealing with death and funerals," the reaper decides to add to his answer when I am right in the middle of telling him to fuck off.

That's when I really realized that this enigma was not going to leave until he's convinced that sanity… stability had returned to my mind.

" Drive me somewhere interesting Arima I'm ...really tired of feeling so numb and angry," I said as I carelessly tossed him the car keys after fishing them out of my hidden dress pockets.

I climbed into the passenger's seat with a small laugh while Arima wordless goes about starting up the car and driving it down the crowded streets of Tokyo.

" Doesn't Themis have a Ukakus and Rinkaku kagune ," I dare to ask Arima after a few minutes of sitting in silence.

" She does ," He answers in that collective way of his but there is a touch of curiosity to his tone.

" The ghoul that attacked Mama wore the mask of Themis but it had a Koukaku kagune," I tell him as my hands balled into fists when the memory of my mother's death flashed through my mind.

" If you get the chance, Kishou make that monster suffer before you butcher it."

His grip on the poor wheel tightened at the sound of my final rage driven request.

The rest of the ride was silent after that leaving Arima to focus solely on the road while I wished that I could have arrived home just in time to save mother .

" We sav..ed you.. li..life so…why?"

My mother had asked me as I held her bleeding mutilated body knowing faintly that she would be a corpse long before the ambulance arrived.

" Mama I could never do this to you," I tell her in a vain attempt to make her confused mind understands that I was not it's murderer.

" When d..id th...at hap..py lit...tle angel bec..ome su..ch a demon," Were my mother's last words to the world before the brilliance of her eyes disappeared leaving them to stare up blankly at me.
