It sure is a nice day out said Gold as he looked up at the sky. The sky was as blue as the ocean and the sunlight filtered through the trees nearby creating a peaceful atmosphere. Gold turned his attention from the sky and looked at his poke balls on his waist. I am going to need Typhloshion's power for the mahogany town gym. I just hope that I am ready for it.
Although Typhloshion is not the only Pokémon I have with a fire type move. I do still have Furret with me and he knows the elemental punches. Thunder punch, fire punch, and ice punch, backed up by the powerful water type move surf. I hope that is enough to beat Pryce. I am still not feeling confident about it though.
Gold looked down at the ground. I might know how to gain some confidence though. I should head back to Olivine city and see what Jasmine is up too. If anyone can give me the confidence, I need to win it is her. Gold hopped on his bike and speeded away to Olivine city.
As Gold headed down the dirt path to Olivine City, he had a chance to revisit the events of a few days ago in his head. The date with Jasmine seemed to go well that time we went out together and she did seem to enjoy herself that night. Plus, she was super happy that I brought amphy the medicine she needed. I honestly believe that she would go on another date with me.
Jasmine even said she wanted to see me again after the first date. As Gold pedaled his bike to Olivine City, he was preparing himself to talk to Jasmine once more. I have this all planned out so I should be good to go. After a 5-minute bike ride to Olivine Gold has finally reached the City. Gold headed straight to the gym and leaned his bike along side the wall of the gym before entering.
Now where is Jasmine at? Gold gazed around the gym looking for Jasmine and did not see her anywhere. What she isn't here? Unknown to Gold, Jasmine had quietly entered the gym behind him when she saw Gold walk past her without noticing. Jasmine reached out and tapped Gold on the shoulder.
Gold turned around and saw Jasmine smiling at him. Did you miss me asked Jasmine? Yeah, I absolutely did replied Gold. Ha-ha I figured you would come back said Jasmine. Gold and Jasmine just looked at each other before Gold finally broke the silence.
Can I… can I hug you asked Gold? Yes, absolutely replied Jasmine. Gold and Jasmine hugged each other tightly. I missed seeing you said Gold. I missed you too said Jasmine.
Jasmine and Gold stopped hugging each other and began a conversation. So, Jasmine, I want to ask you something said Gold. You want to ask me on a second date don't you said Jasmine. Well, I mean yeah totally said Gold. Jasmine giggled back at Gold.
I would love to go out with you again said Jasmine. In fact, I am free right now. Great said Gold. Why don't we head somewhere together? Sure, do you have a place in mind asked Jasmine? Let me think about this for a second replied Gold.
If you don't come up with anything I have an idea that you might be interested in said Jasmine. Okay, what is your idea asked Gold? How about we go check out mt mortar? Sure, that sounds like a great idea said Gold.
Why don't we start walking there right now? Jasmine and Gold headed out of the gym and began their walk to mt mortar. Oh, hang on let me just pick up my bike and put it back in my bag said Gold. Gold put his bike back in the bag which had been leaning on the side of the gym. Jasmine and Gold began walking toward Eucreteak City.
You know Gold while you were away, I did some training said Jasmine. One of my magnemite evolved into magneton. Wow, that's great Jasmine said Gold. What about the other one you have? It's still a magnemite right now said Jasmine. Ok, cool, what about your ampharos or amphy I should say said Gold.
It is with me right now said Jasmine. So, you have four Pokémon then asked Gold? Yes, all four of my Pokémon are with me right now said Jasmine. That's good said Gold. So, what Pokémon do you have Gold asked Jasmine? I have a Furret, Typhloshion, Skarmory, Hitmontop, Sunflora, and a Mantine.
You own a Skarmory a steel type said Jasmine. I specialize in the steel type of Pokémon. However, I am not opposed to having a ground type on my team or a different type of Pokémon just to add some diversity to it. There are two Pokémon I would like to get my hands on but have not come across either of them.
What Pokémon are they asked Gold? A Scizor and a Donphan said Jasmine. Huh, funny you should mention Scizor because I have a metal coat right here in my bag said Gold. Jasmine's eyes lit up when she heard Gold say he had a metal coat with him. Now we just need to get me a Scyther, and we can trade to evolve it into Scizor said Jasmine.
You know the bug catching contest is on tomorrow said Gold. Maybe we could go their and try to get you a Scyther. Are you asking me out on a third date asked Jasmine? Well, I mean if you are up to it said Gold. I'd love to go out with you again said Jasmine.
Yay then you and me can go out again said Gold. I uhh mean yes, I would love to go out with you again. Jasmine looked at Gold and smiled. I know you are enjoying spending time with me said Jasmine. Well… I mean, okay yes, I am enjoying the two of us being together said Gold.
Hah I knew it said Jasmine. Gold looked at Jasmine who then began to blush. Gold smiled when he looked at Jasmine's reaction. Ah see you are enjoying this too said Gold. Well, okay yes, I am enjoying this said Jasmine.
Well, I am glad we are enjoying ourselves on this date said Gold. Me too said Jasmine. Before Jasmine and Gold knew it, they had reached Eucreteak City. I didn't realize were already in eucreteak city said Gold. We must have walked fast and lost track of time.
Gold and Jasmine walked through eucreteak city and onto the next route which contained mt mortar. Well, here we are said Jasmine mt mortar. Do any of our Pokémon know flash asked Gold? Amphy does said Jasmine. We are going to need amphy for this then said Gold. Jasmine took out amphy from its poke ball and summoned it.
Amphy, I need your help once we get into the cave system of mt mortar said Jasmine. Amphy let out a cry in agreement. Alright gold, are you ready to go in? I sure am said Gold. Let's get moving then. Jasmine and Gold walked into the cave entrance into mt mortar with amphy beside them.
Before long Gold and Jasmine had ventured far enough into mt mortar where flash would be required to advance. Alright amphy time to use flash said Jasmine. Amphy let out a flash of light and the entire cave system became lit up. Thank you amphy you can go back into your ball now. Amphy was returned into its poke ball.
Let's stick together Jasmine said Gold. Yes, I don't want to lose you in here and get split up said Jasmine. Here grab onto my hand said Gold as he extended his hand toward Jasmine. Jasmine took Gold's hand and the two of them began to hold hands just like they did on the first date. Gold and Jasmine continued through mt mortar but did not find a whole lot to look at until they reached a wide-open area.
I thought maybe their would-be trainers in here training, but it seems no one is around said Gold. Are you cold Jasmine since it is kind of damp in here? No, I am fine said Jasmine. It's quite the open area here. Yeah, except there is not much to see said Gold. I was hoping we could find some wild Pokémon here, but it seems that isn't the case.
Come on I see a path down this way that leads downward. As Gold and Jasmine got farther down the path Gold could hear water flowing. I hear water flowing don't you asked Gold? I can hear it too said Jasmine. Maybe there are some water type Pokémon in the water.
If there's any chance of encountering wild Pokémon it's in the water said Gold. Gold and Jasmine reached the area where the water was flowing. It's like a river in a cave said Jasmine. Yeah, and I wonder how cold the water is right now said Gold. Probably is cold said Jasmine. Gold and Jasmine looked at the water as it continued flowing down the river.
I am going to see how cold the water is said Gold. You're going to go down there and check it out asked Jasmine? Yeah, I'll be careful said Gold. Wait let me come with you said Jasmine as the two of them went down to where the water was flowing. Can you swim asked Gold? Yeah, I can swim can you asked Jasmine. Yeah, I can swim well said Gold.
Gold reached out and put his hand in the water to see how cold it was. It's a little bit of cool water mixed with a little bit of warm water said Gold. I'm surprised its not completely cold said Jasmine. As gold went to stand up, he slipped on a wet spot on the ground and began to slide into the water. Jasmine who was holding one of Gold's hands also began to slide into the water.
Jasmine grab onto something quick shouted Gold. Jasmine tried to reach for a rock to grab onto but fell in the water along with Gold. Crap now we are both in the water said Gold. Now we are all wet said Jasmine.
Well now that we are here why don't we have some fun said Gold. What do you mean asked Jasmine? Well, I was thinking about doing some of this said Gold as he splashed Jasmine in the face with water. Jasmine turned her head slightly to try and avoid getting splashed. Jasmine smiled as she tried to avoid getting splashed with water.
Ha-ha two can play at that game said Jasmine as she splashed water back at Gold. The two of them laughed and had fun as they splashed water at each other. After a minute of splashing water at each other the two of them decided to get out and try to dry off. I got a towel for the both of us said Gold it's right here in my bag.
Gold reached into his bag and pulled out a towel for each of them. Here you go said Gold as he handed Jasmine a towel. Jasmine then used the towel to dry off while gold did the same. I was not expecting that said Jasmine. But I must admit I did enjoy it.
That was fun wasn't it asked Gold? Oh, yea I didn't know you could be romantic and playful at the same time replied Jasmine. Gold and Jasmine finished drying off and Gold put both towels back in his bag. Now, what do you want to do next asked Gold? Why don't we head out of here and call it a day asked Jasmine?
That's fine with me said Gold. Gold and Jasmine joined hands again as they headed out of the cave together. Well, at least we are out of there said Gold as they emerged from the cave and onto the outside. Let's head back to Olivine said Jasmine.
After Gold and Jasmine had finished walking back to Olivine, they made a stop right in front of Jasmine's gym. Well, I guess this is where we part ways said Gold. Yeah, but we will go on a date again tomorrow so don't be too sad said Jasmine. You're right said Gold.
Gold and Jasmine looked at each other and moved closer to one another. I'm going to kiss you said Jasmine as Gold and Jasmine kissed each other goodbye. The two then pulled away from each other and said their goodbyes for now. I'll see you here again tomorrow morning said Jasmine. Yeah, I'll be here ready to take you out again said Gold.
With that Jasmine walked into the gym and Gold headed back up to the road toward eucreteak. I think I am confident enough now to take on Pryce. I'll do that tomorrow and I will win said Gold. I know I can do it.
