Chapter 1: The Beautiful Sunrise

It had been 2 weeks since Dr. McPhee told Larry that Amelia was coming here. Today was the day of the first shipment. Amelia & Charles Lindbergh were arriving first, a week before the replica planes. Larry was there when the movers came & dropped the crates off. He hoped the next 3 days that he was the only person in this museum after night.

"I can't let anyone else see me do it. It's what I was working on before I sold the company. Purely off the books." Larry explained to Dr. McPhee.

"Alright then, no need to shout!" Larry had gotten a bit loud when speaking to the museum director. "How much time do you need? We can't have a 2 month absence this soon."

"Don't worry, this'll only take around 3 days, between me setting up the exhibits & wiring the figures. No visitors during the night shift because I'll need to be alone. Adding a new exhibit could, uh, confuse the system" He was desperately trying to convince him. Larry needed this lie to work so he could be with Amelia.

"Fine, but I'll be here for the first few hours of the night tomorrow."

Damn was the only thing that floated in Larry's mind. Dr. McPhee was a little naive, but he wasn't completely unobservant. "Just tell me when you're checking in, so I can tell you what I've done." The Museum didn't open that day, and it wouldn't for a few more. After the moving guys left, only Larry & Dr. McPhee were inside.

By sundown Larry had finished setting up the exhibits. Dr. McPhee had just left, he'd leave the night guard alone to his shift tonight, and would stay late the next few days. Suddenly, Larry heard some commotion from inside the loading bay. He had told Teddy to make sure people stayed clear from this area last night, so what was it?

"Hello? Who's there." He cautiously walked forward. "Teddy should have told you not to come in here." As Larry was about to turn the corner, a voice spoke out to him.

"It was a beautiful sunrise Mr. Daley."
