1977 - Military coup in Pakistan political leaders including Zulfikar Ali Bhutto arrested. Martial law declared.

After International Networking Working Group, formed in 1972, an Intel secret network called BlackNet was developed. It used a particular Internet protocol suite, which is exclusive for this network.

The first complete DNA genome to be sequenced is that of bacteriophage φX174.

Salla Vacek's daughter Elena was born.

1978 - Corine Wolf married Nikolai Markali.

Air India Flight 855 crashed into sea off the coast of India, killing all 213 aboard.

The student group "L'Heure Sanguine" was created.

Louise Brown became the first child to be born via in vitro fertilisation.

1979- Margaret Thatcher and the Conservative party rose to power in the United Kingdom.

Saddam Hussein assumed the presidency of Iraq cementing his rise to power.

The Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan.

Second Oil crisis

Agent Lisa Birkoff's twin children were born. Her pregnancy came to term under one condition: her children will be part of a socio-psychological, called the Janus project. Lisa died during a mission whose report did not explain her death. Section One begins the Janus project, in which Jason Birkoff is released, while his brother Seymour Birkoff remains at Section One's headquarters.

1980- Ronald Reagan was elected U.S. president.

The Iran–Iraq war: Iraq was accused of using illegal chemical weapons to kill Iranian forces and against its own dissident Kurdish populations.

Bologna massacre in Italy, three members of the neo-fascist group Nuclei Armati Rivoluzionari detonate a time bomb at Bologna Central Station, killing 85 people.

BlackNet got full access to secret-level networks.

1981 - The terrorist network called Red Cell is created.

Operation Opera: Israeli air strike destroyed the Iraqi nuclear reactor being constructed near Baghdad.

El Mozote massacre in El Salvador was committed by government forces.

Assassination attempt against Pope John Paul II, shocked Saint Peter's Square.

Paul Benioff, shared the essential ideas of quantum computing.

A group of scientists led by Dr. Ross Gelman began a project on the neuro-biology of human behaviour.

1982 - War in the southern cone. Argentina invaded the Falkland Islands, sparking the Falklands War. It occurred between the United Kingdom and Argentina.

Lebanon War: the Government of Israel ordered the invasion as a response to the assassination attempt against Israel's ambassador to the United Kingdom, and due to the constant terror attacks on northern Israel made by the terrorist organisations which resided in Lebanon.

Canada gained official independence from the United Kingdom

A clandestine meeting was held organised by members of different international organisations. The development of an organism for the control of the clandestine anti-terrorist organisations began. This entity will be called: Global Network for Ultra Secret Investigations (GNUS).

1983 - Jacques and Josephine Samuelle died in a traffic accident.

The end of the Operation Condor began.

1984 - Indian Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi was assassinated

Assassination attempt on the British Prime Minister and the Conservative Government was registered. IRA was implicated.

Salla Vacek began to be a priority target for Section One's counterterrorism activities.

Mass protests and a wave of strikes paralysed France after new plans to privatise private schools and primary/elementary schools. During the protest, the activist group "L'Heure Sanquine" tries to carry out an attack against the university where more than a dozen people die. The police arrested one of the perpetrators of the attack, Michael Samuelle, an engineering student and member of this activist group. Samuelle is brought to trial, where he is sentenced to life imprisonment.

1985- The economic reform aimed at developing a new internal structure of the Soviet Union, called Perestroika, began.

An institutional scandal was registered by the discovering of a love affair between agents from Section One and Oversight, Adrian Griffith and George Taylor. For that reason, Oversight suspended Taylor activities for twelve months.

Paul Wolf took advantage of institutional destabilization and removed Adrian from power. After the institutional coup, Adrian disappeared and Oversight appointed Wolf as temporary Chief of Operations. Madeline reached the position of second in command.

David Deutsch described the first universal quantum computer.

In order to optimize the flow of information from operations profile missions between the different sections, Central system started the VATOS project. The design and construction of a quantum supercomputer has begun.

Under Madeline's direction, Section One began to investigate Dr. Gelman's work.

1986- Nuclear accident at the Chernobyl power plant, in Pripyat (USSR).

The Second chance program is modified. From now on, the recruitment of potential agents is amplified regardless of the psychological profile.

Madeline started to develop the Valentine project: a plan which involves special training in the arts of seduction and persuasion for selected undercover agents. The main goal of the program is that Valentine agents get into undercover missions in order to gather specific Intel for Section One or capture targets enemies.

The Fenix program is developed for the extraction of criminals from penitentiary institutions.

1987- The "Black Monday" stock market crash decreased the value of the Dow Jones Industrial Average, causing widespread secondary drops in world markets.

1989 - Fall of the Berlin wall.

Charles Sand is considered killed in action during a mission against Red Cell.

Research at CERN in Switzerland by British computer scientist Tim Berners-Lee resulted in the World Wide Web, linking documents into an information system, accessible from any node on the network.

1990 - According to his physical and cognitive abilities, Samuelle was selected by Section One. Under the Fenix program, Michael was considered dead in prison by suicide. In Section One, he began his training under Jurgen's direction.

GNUS operation is activated, in order to regulate the activities of Central system, now called Central.

VATOS project ends and the quantum supercomputer is put into operation.

President Saddam Hussein accused Kuwait of flooding the market with oil and driving down prices. As a result, Iraqi forces invaded and conquered Kuwait.

Gene therapy techniques became established, allowing gene tagging and gene therapy to become a possibility, both of which were first performed in human beings.

The Human Genome Project (HGP), an international scientific collaboration program whose objective is to obtain a basic knowledge of the complete human genetic, is formally launched.

An agreement was signed between Dr. Ross Gelman and Section One for the development of methodologies to manipulate the mental state of subjects, by altering their brain functions using pharmacological and electro-sensory strategies. In this way, the design of the Gelman Process began.

1991 - Operation Desert Storm has begun,

After a year and three months of training, recruit Samuelle is promoted to Level 3. Section One begins to suspect a possible clandestine relationship between Samuelle and agent Simone Tse Yun.

A new strategy was activated in order to capture Salla Vacek. The promising new agent, Michael Samuelle was activated in a Valentin mission in order to seducing Elena, Vacek`s daughter.

1992 - Bosnian War: the war involved several ethnically defined factions within Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Michael Samuelle got married to Elena Vacek.

VATOS supercomputer predicted destabilising events from Section One. To prevent a possible institutional collapse, Central develops a containment protocol. VATOS is instructed to find potential individuals who will play a key role in the containment plan.

1993 - Section One suspected a possible pregnancy of agent Tse Yun.

The Blood Cover plan, designed by Madeline, was authorised by Oversight.

Jacqueline Duboix is recruited by the French secret service SURETE.

VATOS indicated the potential individuals for the containment plan. One of them, named Saviour, is Nikita Worth, the alleged unrecognised daughter of the Center's 11th level agent, Phillip Jones. Also, the super computer predicts another potential individual, whose role will be to protect the Saviour. The term assigned for this subject was Guardian.

1994 - The Rwandan genocide: a mass killing of hundreds of thousands of Rwanda's Tutsis and Hutu political moderates occurred by the Hutu dominated government under the Hutu Power ideology.

Since other agencies wanted the technology developed by Gelman, Section One put vigilance during scientific conferences to protect the neurobiologist. During a meeting in St. Petersburg, Samuelle saved Dr. Gelman from being kidnapped.

Latin America was shocked by the first ethnic bombing attack.

In Bordeaux, France was born the first child of the marriage between Elena and Michael Samuelle.

Glass Curtain captured Agent Tse Yun during a mission supervised by her own husband. Because of this, Agent Samuelle started to suffer episodes of emotional instability that compromised the continuity of the Vacek mission.

In December 1994, the government of Russian undertook the invasion of Chechnya in order to stop the independence of this republic.

1995- Nikita Wirth is charged with first degree murder. Given her physical conditions, she is recruited by Section One.

Based on the psychological analysis of Wirth and Samuelle's profiles, Madeline suggested that this new recruit can emotionally stabilise Samuelle and then secure Vacek`s mission. For this reason, Agent Samuelle is assigned as Wirth's mentor for her two years training program.
