Things have been going pretty smooth for the Autobots they were adjusting to their new home. Poor Jetstorm was tired and crabby and not doing well in training. "Jetstorm you look very tired," Slipstream said.
"Yes Jetstorm didn't you sleep at all last night?" Drift asked.
"I slept some but I have been struggling to go to sleep and stay asleep for the past few nights," Jetstorm explained. "I have been having trouble adjusting," he said.
"I got something that might help," Hannah said and gave him a plush shark. "I just got in the mail it was suppose to be for my collection but maybe it can help you get to sleep tonight," she said.
"Okay," Jetstorm said. That night he slept with the shark Hannah gave him and he slept through the night and woke up feeling pretty good. He tried to give it back to her.
"No you kept it, you need it more than I do," Hannah said. "You can name it if you want," she said.
"What kind of shark is it?" Jetstorm asked.
"It's a black tip reef shark commonly found on coral reefs," Hannah said.
"Coralgem," Jetstorm said.
"Nice name for toy shark," Hannah said.
Jetstorm placed it on his bed.
Hannah was starting to do her ranch chores. "Okay that takes care of that," she said. "I have a few more things to do," she said. She got the last thing done. "There all done," she said.
"Hey Hannah what were doing?" Hot shot asked.
"I was just doing my chores and I finally finished," she answered.
"I see, well I have to go on patrol see you later," Hot shot said.
"Okay see ya," Hannah said. Then Hannah started to play her video games.
"Hey Hannah what are you doing?" Jetstorm asked.
"Playing a video game," Hannah answered.
"Video game what is that?" Jetstorm asked.
"This is a video game console," Hannah said showing him her Nintendo switch. "This thing in it is one of my video games, called Pokemon Mystery dungeon," she said. "In a video game is sometimes like a story and you play through it as one of the main characters and then when finish the story and win you go to the post game which you can play and continue the post game story and then play to your hearts content doing things. In other games like the ones from when me and friends parents where kids you do various things like fight or do things like try to stop bad guy at different levels, or even try to cross roads and streams safely," she said.
"Sounds intriguing," Jetstorm said.
"Jetstorm time for your afternoon training," Drift called.
"Coming," Jetstorm said.
"What does afternoon training include?" Hannah asked after she saved her game and followed Jetstorm.
"It includes many fighting techniques and different Cybertronian martial arts." Jetstorm explained.
"I see well I know an earth martial art if you guys want to see it," Hannah said.
"That would be great," Jetstorm said.
They made it to where Drift was. "Hello Drift," Hannah said.
"Hi, have you come to watch?" Drift asked.
"Yes," Hannah said. "I was also wondering if I could show you an earth martial art I know," she said.
"I think it would be valuable for my students and I to learn fighting techniques and types of other worlds." Drift said.
"Great," Hannah said. "It's called Taekwondo it's from Korea," she told them.
"Okay then," Drift said.
"We must start with the basics of course," Hannah said. "Which are the blocks, stretch kick, snap kick, fighting stance, short stance, long stance, jab and punch and form one." she said.
"The basics are the most important thing to learn," Drift said.
"Yes the basics can help us do the harder stuff." Hannah said. "First let's start with the stances, short stance is one foot in front of the other space a part a small distance, you have to make sure you see the foot that is in front of you," she said. She saw them doing it. "Next in long stance you put your front foot and back foot farther back and your front leg should be bent at the knee and your knee should cover the sight of your foot." she said.
"It's a little bit uncomfortable," Slipstream said.
"You will get use to it," Hannah told them. "Now fighting stance spread feet horizontally and then bend you knees and put your hands to your hips," she said.
"This is a bit awkward," Jetstorm said.
"It maybe but it's part of the basics." Hannah said. "Now we move on to jab and punch hold your hands up and have on hand in front of the other the front is for jabbing and the back is for punching, remember keep your thumb below your fingers not underneath them or to the side of the pointer you could get hurt that way." she said.
Hannah helped them know the basics. "In order for you all to know this well you have to practice with me whenever you can," she said.
"That makes sense we get better when we practice," Drift said.
The day was pretty quiet. "Man there hasn't been a signal in days I am so bored," Side swipe said.
"Yes not to mention we haven't picked up on any Decepticon activity." Ambula said.
"Well that is the way it goes sometimes but either way we must always be prepared for anything." Optimus said.
"Optimus is right no matter what happens we all must remain ready for anything," Drift said.
Meanwhile at the Decepticon base Megatron was planning something. "We need find away to boost our signal to find the relics so we can gather all of them before those accursed Autobots do," Megatron said. "But we need an energy source to do so," he said.
"Megatron sir I have detected energon here," Knockout said.
"Energon perfect we can use it to boost our power and destroy those accursed Autobots." Megatron said.
