I have a small head canon that if Meta Knight gets woken up randomly with no pre-warning he assumes that the problem isn't that important and deals with it in the quickest way he can so he can sleep once more.
Also I'm writing this at like 2 am so please don't mind any spelling mistakes.

•It was late afternoon when our small but fearsome Knight had decided to stop his and his squires training. The three knights went up to their apartment and to their separated bedrooms, they of course cleaned themselves and ate something before doing so. •
Meta Knight silently shut his bedroom door as to not disturb the working waddle dees or the Embrum family and Kirby from their slumber. He then took his armor off and set it into a neat pile besides his bed for it were needed for later. After he finished putting his armor away he then waddled towards his bed and lifted himself onto it, he then cuddled up to his pink blanket and drifted off to his chocolate filled dreamland.

B a n g!
Meta Knight leaped off his bed and landed on the floor from the loud sound. He got up and grumpily rubbed his eyes and heard yelling and more crashes. He then moved towards the door completely disregarding his armor and went to the source of the sound in hopes that he could get it to shut up.
He opened the door and walked out not even closing the door. He heard Fumu shout for the Warp Star. At this point he assumed that the idiot of a king had ordered a demon beast. While heading towards the garden (where the source of his non-wanted alarm was) he grabbed some knocked over pebbles and rocks from the damage.
'Whatever demon beast was ordered is n o t gonna have a good night.', Meta had mused to himself while nearing his destination. Not long after he had thought that he had reached the chaos. Putting one of the stones he picked up during his walk here into his right hand he reeled it back with an annoyed look on his cute battle scared face. He then threw it hard toward the beasts face surprising everyone, even the beast itself.
"Go on! Get!", Meta Knight shouted while everyone was still in shock about what was happening.
Eventually the beast just ran off being to confused to fight. The tired unarmoured Knight then turned around and went back to his apartment.
———-4 minutes after Meta Knight left———-
"W-what did we just witness?", Dedede had asked his adviser.
"A very grumpy and unmasked Meta Knight I think," Escargon stated in complete amusement, "Well, at least now we know not to wake him up randomly." He added on with a chuckle causing him to get hit in the head with Dedede's hammer.
"Smart-ass," Dedede muttered.
All four of the Dreamland residents went back to their homes and to bed in hopes that this was all just a dream.
