The Paragon of Truth

On a world similar to Karry Universe, although some twenty years ahead, the skies had just turned red, the ground having shaken for all planets.

Kara, who had a telepathic connection to her twin sister, Kayla, was witnessing the same events happening on New Daxam, the world where her sister lived with her husband Mon as King and Queen.

"It's the same on New Daxam and New Krypton," Kara confirmed; she, Barry, and their young adult children, Alura, Nora, and Kent were looking up at the red sky from their Penthouse, having just felt the Earth shake and having seen the skies go red too.

"Gideon says she's detecting anti-matter," Barry said, an earpiece in his ear, connected to the A.I. "And it's getting closer."

"What is that?" Alura pointed up at the sky, the family noticed some black shadows-like-beings in the sky.

"Reminds me of Darksied," Barry muttered, worried.

"I think it's time for the Flash and Supergirl to go out," Kara stated, and Barry gave a nod as he summoned his Speed Force suit and Kara changed her outfit. "Tornado Twins, Kid Flash, come on."

The kids didn't waste a moment before joining their parents; the family running through Central City, calming people down and trying to figure out what was going on. That was when Kara felt it.

"No!" Kara called out, coming to a sudden stop, and Barry felt it too as he ran to her, taking his wife in his arms. Tears were in her eyes. "Kayla… she's gone. I felt it."

"We lost contact with New Daxam and New Krypton," Caitlin confirmed over coms. "I am sorry."

"We're next," Barry said, looking up at the sky. "I am going to have to try to save us. Using my speed…"

"Dad let me do it," Kent said. He, Alura, and Nora had run up after hearing their mom scream.

"No!" Barry said, knowing this might be a death sentence. He put a hand on his son's shoulder. "Take care of your mother," with that, Barry ran up the top of buildings, trying to get in the middle of the anti-matter, but the black shadows they had seen before stopped him, throwing him back.

Barry tried to fight, but he was knocked to the floor once more. Kara, Alura, Nora, and Kent joined the injured Barry; Kara putting her arms around her husband.

"They won't let you," a new voice spoke, and the group turned to see a man who looked like a younger Clark, but different, hovering over them. He was wearing an unusual green and black outfit that none recognized. "Not with him here."

The group looked where the man was pointing, and saw another man floating over the sky. He had pale skin, wore armor and was laughing. They looked back to the Clark lookalike.

"Then help us!" Kara urged, feeling a familiarity with this man she didn't know.

"I can't," the man said. "This is my fault. I have no choice but to watch. Watch as my mistake destroys everything and everyone…" with that, he flew off, leaving Kara, Barry and family confused and scared.

"Alura, Nora…" Barry said, and the twin came over put their arms around their father.

"Kent…" Kara added, putting an arm around Kent and the family hugged each other as the anti-matter came closer, consuming the Earth and that entire universe too.

-Crisis on Infinite Millma Earths-

Amelia Allen, formerly of Paranormal/Extranormal Earth, appeared on the Waverider on an Earth known as Splitsville; she'd barely moved before she was surprised by Mick Rory and his Heat Gun aimed at her. Sara, too, was fast in coming to the call of intruder, and then there was Ray in his Atom suit and a woman Amelia knew was named Zari.

"Who are you?!" Sara stated, Amelia raising her arms up at the Heat Gun still aimed at her, and now Sara's own bo staff.

"I thought the Legends of Splitsville retired?" Amelia countered, having known this as fact as the Waverider had been abandoned.

"When the red sky showed up in 2021 the crew returned," a familiar voice spoke, but Amelia didn't see Leonard Snart anywhere. Then she realized it.

"Your A.I. is Leonard Snart?" Amelia asked, surprised.

"He connected his brain to the A.I. before he died," Ray stated as two more people joined – a blonde woman she knew as Ava Sharpe, and the wife of Ray, Nora Palmer, formerly Nora Darkh.

"Who exactly are you?" Sara remained on alert.

"I am Harbinger," Amelia sighed, getting used to the new name. "I need this ship to help save the entire multiverse. The red sky is everywhere."

"We were going to brainstorm how to save our Earth," Zari spoke.

"You can't just save one Earth. It has to be all of them," Amelia finally lowered her hands. "You can help us. Help the multiverse."

"Rae Garrick got her new dog from the multiverse," Ray spoke, making eyes turn to him, "Jay's daughter. They actually did mention about their visits and how there was a Crisis coming. We should probably help."

Amelia knew from the looks she was getting that everyone was on board. Sara sighed as she lowered her bo staff and Mick shrugged, lowering his gun to take a drink of beer instead.

"Should we go to get Constantine and Charlie?" Nora asked.

"They can stay in London," Sara decided, now moving to the console of the Waverider. "Where do you need to go, Harbinger?"

"To get the people who will save the multiverse," Amelia said as she moved forward, using her knew powers to move the ship beyond the walls of this world.

-Crisis on Infinite Millma Earths-

On New Justice, the Earth rocked, although from their home under the red dome, the occupants of Kent Farm couldn't see the skies had also turned red.

Rae Garrick-Lane picked up her month-old baby and rocked her, the shaking having disturbed her. "I think that was an Earthquake!" Rae frowned though as she said it – it didn't feel like any earthquake she had felt before. "It's okay. I'm here. Mamma's here," she continued cooing.

"She's beautiful," Rae was shocked by the voice and turned around fast. He had not been there a moment ago and she had heard no one enter.

"Oliver?" Rae recognized the man before he had put down the hood.

"I'm sorry to interrupt," Oliver said as both Kara Garrick-Lane and Chris, a young clone of Clark, came running out and paused at the sight of Oliver Queen.

"This isn't a personal visit," Rae said, knowing that as well. Her Oliver was not just popping out of Purgatory for no reason, for she knew this was her Oliver, and not one from the multiverse.

"No," Oliver said taking the remote off the couch and turning on the TV. The news was on about how the sky had turned red after the earthquake that shook the entire planet – being under the red dome, they wouldn't have known about the red skies.

"It's time," Oliver stated somberly. "The Crisis is here."

-Crisis on Infinite Millma Earths-

On the world known as SuperEarth, Barry Allen had just rescued June Moone, Kara and her dog Lara joining them, when the Earth shook, and the skies turned red.

"Are red skies part of earthquakes now?" June spoke as the shaking subsided, Kara and Barry looking up to meet her gaze to the red skies above.

"That's not normal…" Barry muttered.

"No, but we should help people out," Kara reasoned, looking back to the city around them. "There could be some damage," she looked around, scanning the buildings around them – from the looks of things, there wasn't any serious damage, but people could still be hurt.

"I'm afraid it's not up to you two to recue those injured," a new, familiar voice spoke as all three turned to the new woman before them. She stood in a blue and grey uniform; her hair was shorter than the double they knew. Lara started to growl, but Kara calmed her.

"Mila?" Barry asked.

"No. I used to go by Accord, but am Harbinger now," this new Amelia Allen, or Harbinger, spoke. "I am here because it's time."

"What's time?" June asked.

"Crisis is here, and I'm here for you, Kara AllenEl," June and Barry turned to Kara at this, as Kara stared at Harbinger; confused, and annoyed.

"If you want Kara, you'll have to take me too," Barry stated, moving quickly between Kara and Harbinger now, Lara giving a bark as if agreeing.

"Very well," Harbinger smirked a little as she moved forward. In a flash of light Barry had vanished.

"What…?" Kara started, but Harbinger moved forward again and both she, Kara, and Lara vanished from the Earth too.

-Crisis on Infinite Millma Earths-

On Karry Universe, the Allen family were in their Penthouse when the Earth shook, shocking everyone and scaring the toddlers, Alura and Nora.

"Was that an Earthquake?" Kara asked – it felt weird compared to normal earthquakes.

"Mama Kara?" Romana called, having stopped in front of the doors to the balcony.

"Papa Barry!" Star added, looking with her sister. Amelia and Winn ran up to the main floor of the Penthouse as Alura and Nora ran up too, their aunt and uncle picking them up.

"Yea…?" Kara was cut off by her cellphone. "It's Prime. Oh my god! Their Krypton blew up! Refugees are pouring onto their colony worlds, and Earth."

"What?" Barry asked, shocked by this. "And how!?"

"Kara, Barry!" Winn yelled.

"How did their Krypton suddenly blow up?" Barry persisted.

"I don't know," Kara said, upset but all their conversation was stopped by their children jumping up at them.

"You two come here!" Amelia yelled at them. They had opened the balcony doors.

"What?" Barry asked as the two walked over and then saw the sky was completely red above the city. "Okay, that's not good…"

That's not normal, Kara thought back in shock through their telepathic bond. "What is happening?"

"It's Crisis," a new voice spoke – everyone turned around to see a younger copy of Amelia standing there in a dark blue outfit. She was not alone as SuperEarth's Kara was with her, but she remained silent, contemplative. Lara the dog was quietly simpering by her mistress's side.

"Accord?" Barry asked, knowing this wasn't his Amelia Allen.

"I was," Accord said. "Now I am Harbinger. I work for the Monitor," Barry and Kara groaned at the name. "He sent me thinking you might not take to him so well. It's time."

"Time…?" Kara and Barry said, even though they knew.

"That," Harbinger pointed to the sky outside the balcony, "is not just here. It's all over the multiverse. It's Crisis. The Infinite Crisis has begun."

-Crisis on Infinite Millma Earths-

On Prime Earth, the shaking of the planet was joined by pure pandemonium as STAR Labs was quickly filled with Kryptonians – an older Kara and her family were in distress as Kara WellsAllen managed to get a text message off to the multiverse: their Krypton had blown up and refuges were pouring onto colony and friendly worlds, including Ceres and Earth itself.

"Where's Gal?" It was Lara Zor-El, running up to Kara Da-Ver, her elder version of Kara. "Where's my son?!"

"I don't know, Aunty," this Kara stated as they were joined by Kara WellsAllen, the younger clone of Kara.

"Whatever happened on Krypton has affected us," Kara stated, her Barry now by her side, in full speedster outfit of blues, whites and reds, his and Kara's daughter, Skylar in his arms.

"The skies are red, and the Earth shook. It's not just us," Barry added, rocking the toddler, "the multiverse…"

"…is at stake," a new and familiar voice spoke as Barry groaned, he turned to see a man with brown skin, unusual hair, and blue armor.

"The Monitor," Barry groaned.

"That's him?" Kara asked, and before Barry could reply, she moved forward and punched him, surprising those in the room, including Barry. The Monitor though was made from stronger stuff it seemed as her Kryptonian punch barely fazed him, while it caused Kara some pain as she shook her hand.

"Anger aside, I need both of you, Barry and Kara WellsAllen," the Monitor stated, as if the punch hadn't happened at all.

"Why?" Barry asked, keeping an eye on Kara – knowing the main reasons she had punched the Monitor was due to his 'test' on their world, involving aliens called Dominators, their meta bomb, and of course, his abduction of Barry himself a few months prior.

"You'll soon see," the Monitor smirked, and in a sudden flash of light, Barry, Kara and even Skylar had vanished.

-Crisis on Infinite Millma Earths-

The Waverider of Splitsville was floating in a void between worlds.

In a flash of white light, several people appeared on the bridge of the ship: Karry Universe's Kara and Barry, including their twin daughters, Nora and Alura; Prime Earth's Kara and Barry, including their own daughter Skye; New Justice's Kara and Rachel Garrick, including their newborn Leona and pet dog, Clarky; and SuperEarth's Kara and Barry, and their own dog Lara. Harbinger herself was present too, as was the Monitor.

"What…?" The Kara of Karry asked as she took in their sudden surroundings.

"Where are Romana and Star?" Karry's Barry however rounded on Harbinger, noticing his elder daughters were not with them. He paused when he saw the Monitor.

"Star and Romana are safe back on your own world," Harbinger started.

"Right now, that doesn't seem that safe," Karry Barry snapped, his eyes fixed on the Monitor through.

The Monitor opened his mouth to speak, but before he could, a portal opened and Cisco and the familiar Hitchhiking Kayla Lane, the one with brown hair and not blonde, came on board with yet another Kara and Barry, who were wearing cowboy hats.

"Junior, why exactly are we here?" Mutant Earth's Kara Kent asked.

"This is where all the action with the red sky will happen," Cisco stated.

"I don't think the kids needs to be in on this," Nora Palmer stated, moving toward the new group.

"Yeah, we can set up some sort of creche in the lab," Ray Palmer added, the parents gathered seeming to frown for a moment.

"We're good with kids," Ava added, comfortingly. "What? I am!" She defended as Zari seemed to fold her arms at this statement.

"Let me…" in a flash of light, both Prime and Karry Barry sped off, his kids in hand as Ray, Ava and Zari ran to follow.

"Oh, hell no," New Justice Rae however countered as Nora looked encouragingly to Leona in Rae's arms. "Not happening Dark Witch. She stays with me."

"Dark Witch?" Nora asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Your hero name on our world," New Justice Kara added for her. A half smile appeared on Nora's face at that but nodded towards Rae with her daughter.

"Whatever you want," Nora smiled as she left the room. A second later there was a flash of light and both Barrys reappeared, both their Karas rounding on them.

"It's fine," Prime Barry stated to his Kara.

"They're safe in the lab," Karry Barry added. "Nora and Alura are entertaining Skye."

"Well, Leona stays with me," Rae spoke up as both Barrys looked to her and nodded at this statement. The two weren't going to argue with a new mother. They knew better than that.

"If we are about ready…?" The Monitor spoke up, his tone sarcastic as he had waited for the kid drama to die down. All those present, including the Legends, looked to him at this. "So, Crisis has…" he started but then paused when Leona started crying.

Rae was rocking her before handing her to New Justice Kara, who took her daughter, trying to calm her. "Crisis has started, and we need…" the Monitor was cut off again by Leona crying.

"Um…" Kara said, rocking her. "Let's go to Uncle Barry…" Kara handed her to Karry's Barry at this.

"Hi there," Karry Barry said with a smile at the little girl. He had met Leona when Rae had came to get picture of Leona with certain people not on her Earth anymore.

"We need to find…" the Monitor tried, but Leona once again cried out.

"Hey, hey," Karry Barry said. "Let's see…" Karry Barry turned to who was next to him to hand Leona off for a moment, and it was his Prime double, who took the girl.

"Enough tears little one," Prime Barry stated, he had been a natural with kids since the birth of Skylar.

"With Crisis here we need to find the Para–" the Monitor tried, but still Leona cried out.

Prime Barry sighed and looked to the person next to him and paused when it was Splitsville Mick. "Oh, sorry…" Prime Barry paused though when Leona quieted down as Mick took her. The man looking down at the girl in his arms before cooing in his gruff voice and walking out of the room with her in his arms, passing Ray Palmer, who'd returned from the makeshift creche to check on the situation.

"Should we be concerned with her taste in men?" New Justice Kara asked as everyone stared at Mick's retreating back; Ray also raising an eyebrow at the man with the baby.

"When she gets older definitely, but for now she's good," Rae frowned, not having wanted Leona away but realizing it was for the best right now. "Although Clarky, can you go keep an eye on…?" Clarky ran off before Rae could even finish, and Lara left SuperEarth's Kara side to follow as well. "Good dogs."

"Enough!" The Monitor snapped. "We need…"

"Who put him in charge?" Mutant Earth's Barry interrupted, pointing. "After everything he has done to us."

"You too, eh?" Hitchhiking Kayla pointed out dryly.

"Silence!" The Monitor snapped. "I am the one who knows what we need to do. I am the Monitor! Right now, my counterpart, the Anti-Monitor, Mobius, is destroying worlds, but before we can stop him, we need to locate the Paragons. There are…"

"Seven Paragons," Karry Barry stated. "I am apparently half of one according to her Oliver, who is Spectre." Karry Barry nodded at the Rae present.

"Half?" Rae asked. "He told me I was one."

"Although the Speed Force told me I was half as well," Prime Barry spoke up.

"Enchantress was told by you," SuperEarth Kara voiced, pointing at the Monitor, "that I was one."

"Yes, I know of some, but not all. We need to figure out which Paragons you all are," the Monitor stated. "Knowing which one you are is almost as important as knowing that you are one. Long ago the Speed Force had a speedster write a book that is trapped on a world…."

"Or right here," Karry Kara Allen said, holding up a book. "I grabbed it before Amelia here could take us away."

"Harbinger," the Monitor corrected Karry's Kara.

"Regardless, it seems we don't need you," Karry Barry said cheerfully to the Monitor with a happy smirk.

"How did you end up with that?" The Monitor sighed at this remark but was surprised that they had the book.

"It's a long story on how we got it," Karry Kara dismissed. "It's written in a Speed Force language only speedsters can read. So, Rae we need you. Natural born speedsters are better than made speedsters," Karry Kara said. "And as you're the eldest natural born speedster here now…" she referred to their kids, who were in the creche and all natural born speedsters.

"Oh yeah, Barry mentioned this," Rae said, taking the book and opening it. "Let's see what we have here…" she flipped opened the page. "The Spectre is a being connected to the multiverse and Purgatory itself… Ah, this page is just describing my Olly. Let's get to Paragons."

Rae rifled through the pages some more and then stopped. "Ah-ha. Paragons… here we go. There are seven Paragons. The last hope of the multiverse. The Paragons will each represent a different important trait. The seven Paragons are of Love, Truth, Honor, Destiny, Courage, Hope, and Humanity."

"So not bacon," Karry Kara said. "Our Amelia will be so disappointed."

"It was a rough translation," Karry Barry muttered, making some people laugh, nevertheless. "Go on, Rae."

"Should the worst happen, and the multiverse destroyed, the seven Paragons working with the Spectre can bring all back. The key to the multiverse is written inside the Paragons themselves," Rae read aloud. "The worlds the Paragons come from are the strongest worlds in the multiverse. They will be able to withstand the destruction for the longest."

"Oh, I get it," Ray Palmer spoke out loud at this. "The Paragons are a backup system – like a computer," all turned to him at this. It seemed simple to him. "See, the multiverse is the hard drive, this Anti-Monitor guy is a virus… if the virus destroys the hard drive, you're done for, unless you have a backup system: The Paragons."

"That makes sense," a couple of Barrys said.

"I was just going to say that!" Cisco spoke up, to a hit in the arm from his own Kara. "Ow. What?" He complained.

"Nerds," Rae said with a chuckle.

"Can you skip to who is who?" the Monitor asked, ignoring Cisco.

"That was the end of the page anyway," Rae said, turning the page. "The Paragon of Truth. Here we are. The Paragon of Truth will be one who has suffered the most. Betrayed by one they deeply loved, who took away everything they loved, they were forced to kill their betrayer." Rae stopped. "Sucks for this Paragon."

"She does realize she just described herself, right?" Karry Barry muttered, looking around at the others in the room who shrugged.

"What?" Rae asked and then paused. "No, I can't be the Paragon of Truth. Look, let me continue here." Rae turned back to the book. "The Paragon of Truth stood strong beyond the betrayal and built a new band of heroes to protect their world. They found the person they would grow to love and marry being a relation to their mentor…"

"Wait, no, how can I be the Paragon of Truth?" Rae asked, getting it now. "I lie all the time."

"Not well," New Justice Kara added in, making her wife give her a look. "Sorry sweetie, but the Grants figured you out as the Flash pretty easily," Rae gave a shrug at that and then a nod.

"Being the Paragon of Truth is not about the outward truth," the Monitor explained, moving closer. "It's about inner truth. Through that betrayal, you discovered who you are in a unique way," Rae eyes turned to Kara at the Monitor's words, "while also held onto your own truth."

"That I am the Flash," Rae nodded, knowing what Monitor meant by that. She had always held onto that truth about herself, about who she was meant to be.

"You are the Paragon of Truth," the Monitor confirmed, "so now we need to protect you. Harbinger?" Amelia put a hand on Rae, and in that moment, she was teleported away, the book dropping to the floor.

"Accord!" Karry Barry shouted as several other people yelled out too. He picked up the book, though.

"What?" Harbinger blinked at this. "I am instructed to take the Paragons to a safe place, away from the destruction of Crisis."

"Where is she?" New Justice Kara asked, concerned. She had a bond with Rae, not a deep telepathic one like Karry Universe's Kara and Barry shared, but even now she could still feel Rae, but she was far away and not clear to her.

"Safe," the Monitor spoke. "I have placed her in the only place that will survive should the multiverse be destroyed – it exists outside of time and space. The Time Masters of Prime Universe used it before they were destroyed by the Legends of Prime."

"The Vanishing Point," Sara spoke up. "I remember that place. Well my Earth's version anyway."

"Yeah, that's all well and good but we have a problem now," Prime Kara said, raising her hand. "You said she was the only one here who could read the book."

"Hey!" Karry Barry said looking to Kara as Prime Barry chuckled.

"Well, it's true," Karry's Kara defended for her double; she and Karry Barry clearly talking telepathically through their bond for a moment.

"Okay, we should apologize. She was the only one here who could read the book well," Karry Kara corrected after this, her Prime double nodding in agreement.

"Ah, get me Alura and Nora. We'll get this done," Karry Barry said, going to find the right page on the book now.

"Why not Skye? She's two and can talk the house down already," Prime Barry pointed out.

"Alura and Nora are three, but will be four in May," Karry Barry informed his own double. "But they are good at pointing out words I don't know. Skye may not know written words to spoken words."

"Well, this can't be that hard," SuperEath Barry sighed, coming up next to Karry Barry as Mutant Barry joined as well; all three trying to pick out words from the book.

"Question: Does it matter what Rae can read the book?" Sara spoke up, the Legends of Splitsville having been quiet for the moment, besides Ray.

"Nope; all are equally able to read the book well," Karry Barry spoke out, bemusing himself at his multiverse doppelgangers tried to read the book too.

"My Earth has a Rae," Sara pointed out. There was a moment of silence at this.

"Get her," multiple Karas said at this. Sara chuckled as she directed Leonard Snart's A.I. to go to 2021 of Splitsville Earth.

-Crisis on Infinite Millma Earths-

On Earth 50, also known as WestAllen World, the Barry of that world was looking up at the sky. Sarge, his own Kryptonian dog, was next to him and he gave a whimper.

"Cisco, is there anything we can do?" Barry asked.

"It's coming closer," Cisco called out as Barry bit his lip; he had tried to stop the red sky but had been knocked back. There was a man with pale skin and an army of shadows far up in the skies, along with a man who looked like Clark.

"There has to be something I can do!" Barry implored.

"There is. Barry, run, get off this world," Cisco stated in his ear. "You have to survive. I'm going to try to evacuate as many people as I can."

"Yourself included," Barry stated as he picked up Sarge and ran. "I can't do this without you and Caitlin," he added.

"We'll be fine," Caitlin's voice came over coms as a portal opened in front of Barry.

"See you soon," Barry stated as he ran through his own-made portal, coming out in a large, red-domed location area that had various animals' habitats all around. They were close to what looked like a farmhouse.

Sarge gave a bark out as he ran to the house and inside. Barry followed to see Sarge rubbing against a Golden Retriever, who in turn, licked the pup.

"I know you," Barry smiled at the older dog who looked up at him, remembering when the dog had come to deliver Sarge in the first place only weeks ago. "This is New Justice," Barry smiled; this was Sarge's mother who was licking her pup. "Where is everyone…?" Barry noticed the TV was still on to see the red sky reports, but no signs of anyone in the house – the news confirmed that Superboy was out in the city, with various Justice League members doing their best to keep the calm, but there was no word on where Supergirl and Flash were. "Let's hang out here."

Barry rubbed his shoulder. He had been hurt when he tried to stop his world's destruction. He would heal up and then go see if he could help and find this worlds Supergirl or the Flash and help here. Not to mention, he'd find his own Cisco and Caitlin on their multiverse system, to make sure they had survived.
