This was a quick update. Don't worry, i'll have a few more chapters done and will be up soon but after I post those, i'm gonna need some time. I also posted this on AO3 under 'HRwriter87' So, anyway, on with the show.

"Multiple fractures, some of which I had to break and reattach, 5 ribs broken, all his left fingers along with his right pinkie and middle fingers dislocated which I to relocate, multiple cuts that I had to stitch up, a massive burn in his left cheek which went untreated for months and had some infection, though thankfully nothing serious and his left leg badly damaged." Leslie said, listing the injuries she treated with Alfred. Every injury she listed broke Bruce in ways he never thought possible and wishes he could break every single bone in Joker's body.

Leslie put her notes in the nightstand and looks at Bruce.

"Luckily, those were the most serious injuries that I had to treat while the rest were mostly old scars that healed decently. Joker most likely helped him heal enough in order to stay alive." She adjusts her glasses and looks back at Jason, who is sleeping peacefully in thanks to him being by Alfred, and is covered in bandages, particularly his left cheek with the barbaric J burn.

"Bruce, Jason will heal in time but he will need help all the he can get from not just you and me but everyone else. Did you call Sara?" 1

"Along with Dick, Clark and Diana. He won't be alone." Bruce says, his voice small but filled with conviction. Leslie simply sighs and gathers her things. She places a small hand on Bruce's shoulder but he doesn't trust his voice right now. She pats him on the shoulder and leaves. Bruce simply stares at Jason, numb to the world. He only breaks out of his trance until he sees Dick in the doorway but he isn't even casting a glace towards him as he solely focused on his younger brother.

"I came as soon as I heard." Dick says after a while, his voice barely above a whisper but Bruce heard it. "Where did you find …?"

"The abandoned wing in Arkham. Tim's looking around the place for any clue of what happened." Bruce says, his voice betraying nothing though Dick notices a small crack in his voice but he doesn't care.

"Jesus, Bruce Over a fucking year. " Dick runs his hand through his hair, frustrated and angry. "How is he even alive? You said Joker killed him."

"From what I can tell, his armor held and he managed to survive the bullet."

Dick simply stared at his younger brother and felt nothing but guilt. He had been of world with the Titans on Tamaran when Jason was captured. When he came back and found out, he spent many, many nights without rest searching for him, to the point Alfred and later Tim had to drug him to sleep. When he thought he died, Dick cut himself of from Bruce and the other heroes, Kori had tried to be there for him but he made it near impossible to be around leading to them breaking up, and it all ended with Blockbuster and Tarantula that night. No one knew what exactly happened and he intended for that to stay that way. 2.

"How do we tell him about Tim?" Dick asked, his voice thick with emotion.

"I'm going to tell him but only after he has regained some strength and we know."

"Or you want to know how much Joker broke him." Dick snaps back harshly but he takes to compose himself. "Bruce, Tim lives here. How are you…?" He's cut off by Bruce mid question.

"Tim is staying in one of guest rooms downstairs. It was his choice." They glare at each other for a while. Despite them slowly mending bridges these past few months, there were arguments and disagreements that almost broke out to full blown fights if weren't for Alfred, Barbara or Tim.

Eventually, Dick relented, left the room and went downstairs for breakfast. Bruce pulls up a chair next to Jason's bedside and holds his son's hand. 'I'm so sorry Jason.'

Sorry for this being a short chapter, it was mostly a set up for the next few chapters but next one will be much longer and you will start some more changes such as Bruce not being an abusive asshole (Fuck you RHATO #25 and All Star Batman and Robin).

1. In case you're wondering, I made Sara Lance (Black Canary this time with her Arrow season 2 suit and Laurel is Black Siren) a trauma therapist as I see her helping women and children have been abused or rape and would be in a unique position to empathize with them, something not many people in that line of work can do. Plus, a fun nod to Young Justice (cartoon) where Black Canary is the Team's Therapist in the show.

2. I could see Dick cutting himself off due his guilt at not being there for Jason as brother and treating him like shit during his earlier Robin years and failing to save him from Joker, possibly leading to a break up with Kori. And yes, that mess with Blockbuster and Catalina Flores happened and will be acknowledged later on, unlike what the writers did in writing it off as a sex scene. Fuck off with that Bullshit.

Also, should I include Selina? She knew Bruce's identity in Knight so one could make the argument she knew all this time but hadn't acknowledge it till Knight but I don't know. Tell me what you guys and please leave a review.
