Michael and Lucifer reached the rent house. Lucifer got out of car and snorted when he saw 'Stairway To Heaven Rent House' written on top of house.
The house did not look bad. Sloppy roof on which they would never have a problem to clean snow. the light red color wasn't so much bright, more like faded. Just the people who lived there seemed a little careless. He saw a brunette demon, Ruby, yelling at the blond woman, Lilith, who's yelling back at her.
Lucifer turned to Michael while pointing at him, about to asked him. But Michael beat him on it, "They're not demon in this universe. And no, they're not dead either."
Lucifer nodded in astonishment. They started to go in first floor hall. The hall was empty. It didn't took them much time to reached Michael's room. Michael opened the door and they got in, taking off their shoes.
Lucifer made his way to Michael's room and his jaw dropped at the sight of a certain person. The person grinned and greeted him, "Hi, Luci!"
Lucifer opened his mouth then closed it like a fish. Michael rushed in and sighed after seeing the person. He started to scolding him, "Gabriel, what I told you about sneaking in my room like a their whenever I'm out?"
"Uh, let me guess. You said that dear Gabriel, you can come in my room whenever you want." Gabriel said, dramatically. Michael triggered, "I told you that I would kick your ass out of this house if you ever did it again!"
"Come on! It's not like I fuck anyone in your bed." Gabriel said, satisfied with the disgusted reaction of Michael. Michael groaned, "You're not even an adult yet."
"Hello! Archangel here. I'm centuries old." Gabriel snorted making his normally animatic hand gestures. Michael rolled his eyes and said, "Yeah, but your vessel isn't."
"Damn this vessel." Gabriel grunted. Lucifer stared at them. The two other graceless archangel looked at him. Lucifer pointed at Gabriel and said, "You're a shape shifter."
"What?" Gabriel dumbfounded. What the hell? Why his brother acting was so out of character? Then here comes the freaking out, "You can't be Gabriel. You don't talk to Michael like that."
"What give you that idea?"
"I've never seen you talk to him."
"Because you, my brother, and Mikey fight almost every time we gather."
"Really? Then tell me something only me and Gabriel know."
"When I was a fledgling, you help me set dad's beard on fire."
"You what?" Michael shouted. Lucifer and Gabriel shared an amuse glance and grinned. Michael sighed, "What would I do with these dumbass?"
"Whatever gave you the idea that you can do something." Gabriel and Lucifer said in sync.
"Why are you not in your room again?" Michael said while opening the fridge to got some milk. Gabriel plopped down in the nearest couch and said, "My dear neighbor decided that it would be a great idea to bang someone."
"Eavesdropping much?" Lucifer teased with a smirk. Gabriel's face went beet red and he snapped, "It's nothing like that. He lives in the room above me. And it feels like they're doing wrestling up there. My roof almost break."
"Didn't I told Uriel to bang someone in a shitty hotel or motel instead of my rent house?" Michael complaint. Gabriel shrugged. Lucifer raised an eyebrow and ask, "Your rent house?"
"Yeah. Did I stutter?"
"Did you?"
Michael made a 'tch' sound and poured the milk in glass.
"This universe me literally own this house."
"Oh."
Michael took out a note and wrote some number in it. He shoved it on Lucifer's face and said, "This is your room number."
Lucifer pulled the paper away from his face. Room Number 03169. Michael drank his milk. Lucifer and Gabriel stared at him. Michael looked at them from the side of his eyes and said, "What? You two are planning on spending whole day standing there or something?"
"Or something." Lucifer replied. The two former angels got out of Michael's room. Gabriel snatched the paper from Lucifer's hand and said while laughing at his brother's luck, "You get a room beside a real jackass."
"What?"
"You get the room beside someone who hates you. You'll know soon."
"Where this room even is?"
"On third floor. The first two number are floor number abrother the others are room nu-"
"I know that better than you."
"-mber but if you could not found it after that then take a left then right. Then in the end of the hall, the last room is yours."
"And where's your?"
"Mine will be easy to find. The room just above Michael's is mine."
"Oh. Where are the elevators?"
Gabriel sighed.
"There are none."
"You gotta be kidding me."
"I know right."
"What kind of ancient place is this?"
"Michael's kind."
They snickered. They heard someone cleared their throat. They turned to saw a murderous looking Michael. They looked at each other and shouted, "Run!"
They turned to saw while running a fuming Michael yelling curses at them. Their howling laughter echoed in the hall.
They bidded farewell at second floor. Lucifer watched Gabriel going to a red head witch, Rowena, who was not a witch. At least, in this universe.
He continued heading to third floor. The stairs were creaky. And he was tired. Not having grace sucks. He couldn't zap himself to Room Number 169. He knew that Michael intentionally gave him a room in top floor. Tricky Bastard.
When he finally reached third floor, he didn't know what to say. He still could hear Ruby and Lilith yelling at each other. He saw some shattered beer bottle and a really drunk Meg with-
Castiel?
What he was doing with a demon? Then again, it was an alternative universe. Anything was possible. Castiel still had that angelic constipation face. Castiel looked at him and glared. Lucifer rolled his eyes. He gone past them.
The crap became real shit as he started getting close to his room. He heard the loud music which could damaged human ears from a room. Then he also heard screaming and moaning from others.
Then he heard a way too old and classical music from a room. The change of voices started to piss him off. It was not okay unless he was the one who was doing it. He swore that he would beat the hell out of Michael to put him in this hell.
As soon as he reached his room, he let himself fell on bed. Letting the unconsciousness took over. Being normal human was weird.
