Within a white room there's a lone little girl with long unkempt brown hair. She wore a hospital gown and tag necklace. She sat on the bed and stared at the white room ceiling. Her unkempt hair shines from time to time.

The door of the room was opened and a man wearing a long lab coat and plain white shirt entered the room

The man approaching the girl and said,

"It's time"

Said the man shortly and responding to the man's word, the girl get up and following the man as they both walk out from the white room

"I'm expecting a good results… No. 8"

Present - Unknown forest

I woke up, captivated by the scent of the grilled fish I caught this afternoon. I'm glad I found a river in this forest.

Still, Doctor is a liar sometimes huh… he once said, to find civilization find a river. I already found a river, but I don't see any civilization around here… there's a lot of fish though.

Even someone as smart as him could make mistakes heh. It can't be helped, I will forgive him since he is Doctor.

I smile as I enjoy the flavor of the grilled fish.

Haaah~ it's so tasty and it might taste even better if I have salt with me.

Few grilled fish later~

I'm full, I thought as I clean my teeth with my finger. Let's find a good place to sleep, and I will think about what I will do tomorrow.

The land is a no no, because of those strange creatures. Let's use the trees then.

My hair morphs into a grappling hook to make it easier to climb into the tree.

I stared at the sky for a bit before I closed my eyes. One thing kinda bothers me though… Does the moon always look like that? I thought of the shattered moon on the night sky. Meh, just my feeling. Nighty night~

Unknown forest - Noon

This morning I walked following the river current after I remembered what the doctor said was actually "find and follow the river to find civilization". Haha, sorry Doctor.

I casually followed the river and I finally saw bridges and roads. Tho, I smelled something burning and noticed smoke in the sky. I climbed to the top of the trees and saw the source of the smoke, a village is burning down.

Still... Instead of civilization, it's more like I found burnization, I thought as I looked at the burning village.

My stomach growled, all that walking made me hungry again. If I ask nicely, will the villagers give some food to eat?

After some thought, I decided to head into the burning village.

I run toward the village, and since I'm based on Kuranta. My speed and stamina are top notch and in a short time I could see the burning village.

I jumped to one of the trees near the village and assessed the situation. There's a lot of screaming, the sounds of blades hitting each other, and the smell of Iron and burning flesh.

I looked at the people who tried to kill each other. One group wears matching uniforms that scream law enforcement, while the others do match a bit, but most of them are half naked.

Woah they fight well… hmm? That's strange, I'm sure that law enforcement got slashed by blades on the chest, yet I don't see any blood on the attackers blade. Not to mention, the one that got slashed looks fine as well.

I'm pretty sure that one was a sure hit, leaving no room to evade. Even if that person has a reflex that is fast enough to evade that sure hit, I don't see any reason why he has to act as if he got hit by the blade tho.

Then again, even if I want to help, I don't really know which one I should aid and I don't really have any reason to help them either. All the food is also burned as well. If Doctor or Amigo were here, I wonder what would they do?

When you're on a foreign place, the first thing you should do is gathering information

Seriously… why would I remember that person's words now of all time… I half complained, yet my decision is set on stone. I will take your side for now Mr. Law enforcement. My hair grew longer and picked fist sized stones on the ground. I went to the top of the tree and used my hair as a slingshot.

Mr. L. E. and his friend's situation isn't really good. They are being put into the corner. Just hold on for a bit oka- ah one of them fell, I thought as I released the stone right on one of the attackers head.

Bam! The stone hit it's marks and the attackers fell down because of the force. I still have a lot of stones so I use it to snipe the attackers' members on the heads.

One thing stood out, their heads crushed and blood and Brain splattered from it while the first one that got hit doesn't have one.

"Bastard!!! Who the fuck are you?!"

The first one that got hitted rose and screamed to his lungs. He is still alive, so I throw the stones towards him. From his chest to his stomach to his legs and to his Neo Armstrong. Yet, he's still alive?

The throwing force that I use is strong enough to plant the stone within a concrete you know? What in Terra is going on?

I threw the stones once more and this time I noticed something I didn't see before. The air around the man… cracked?

Did my eyes play a trick on me? But if not, then once that cracked air is fully destroyed. The main body will be harmed! If that the case, then I will shoot and shoot it until it shattered to pieces!!!

"Please stop!"

The man shouted and raised his arms to the air, he fell to his knees.

"Please stop… I surrender!"

Village,

In the Morning I woke up, took a bath, changed into my uniform, ate a sandwich for breakfast, and headed to the village border where I talked with my coworkers about usual stuff like what did you eat today and other boring things.

In the afternoon, we took a break and played UNO and punished the loser. The punishment was simple like buying lunch today, writing an embarrassing poem and reading it with passion and stuff like that.

In the evening I go to the village market where I buy bread, some vegetables, and a few eggs. I go home, have a sandwich for dinner, and take a bath.

On the night, I watched the village for a bit then I go to my bed, resting for the next day.

It's already become a routine now after I have lived in this village for 6 years after I live in this Wheat Village. This village called that since the main staples was made from wheat and there's huge field of wheat.

There's nothing much to do and Grimm rarely attacks this village. At most it's only a pair of Beowolves or Boarbatusk. I don't mean I want a more challenging situation, in fact I hope this peaceful life continues like this.

In the world of Remnant there's only four safe havens left which are later known as, The Kingdom of Vale, Mistral, Vacuo, and Atlas.

Vale - located on the central continent of Sanus

Mistral - on the eastern continent of Anima

Vacuo - on the central continent of Sanus

Atlas - on the northern continent of Solitas

If there's a safe haven then why not move out to one of the City? Three words, Grimm and Bandit. Those cursed creatures are all over the place and not all have the necessary transportation to travel safely.

Grimm are attracted to people's negative emotions, and groups of people that fear for their safety while traveling are like bait to them.

As for bandits, I hate them. They steal and kill travelers, raid and burn villages. Even though Grimm is already a big source of problems, they have to pour oil into the fire. I hate them the most.

Today I do the usual routine as always or that what should have been the case. Until groups of Bandit raid the village.

"Kill them! Kill them!"

The leader of Bandit commands his men.

My men are all tired and we have to protect the villagers as well. The enemy also outnumber us. But the most unexpected thing is that the bandit leader has his aura unlocked!

This is the worst!!!

"Why? Why do people like you choose to do this?! Even though you can do good things for the world… why?!"

I screamed at the leader as our weapon clashed against each other

"Why, you said?" The Leader chuckled, "Because it's the best!!!"

Shit, I couldn't dodge it! The leader slashed my chest.

"Oya, I swear my blades connected. I see, I see. To think you also unlock your aura…" he chuckled, "then again…. what the difference? Our number is bigger and your man are tired!"

The leader laughed, "just one man with his aura unlocked won't change a shit!" He said as he furiously struck me. If not because my Aura I'm already dead a long time ago.

"UAGGGH!!!"

I could hear the scream of my men and another one of them fell down. I too before long will be the same. My aura is on it's limit. Is this the end?

As I thought of giving up, the leader got hit by something and thrown away by the force of whatever the thing that hit him.

Splat

I heard a splattered sound and another body fell. But that's not one of my men. Instead one of the bandit men. The scene gave me goosebumps as I saw the destroyed head and the splattered brain of the bandits.

Another one fell and albeit blurry I can see the thing that hit the bandits. It was a palm sized stone that moved at high speed.

Even though they were my enemies, I couldn't help but pity them. That's not a proper way to die, even for a bad guy.

"Bastard!!! Who the fuck are you?!"

The leader rose and shouted at the unknown attacker and as a result another stone hit him on the chest and it didn't stop yet. Stomach, legs, and the place that made me hold my treasure.

Rain of stones showered the leader and I can see his aura cracked, it's on its limit.

"Please stop!"

The leader raises his arms to the air and falls to his knees.

"Please stop… I surrender!!!"

He must have noticed his aura is on the limit and cried, begging for his life. I couldn't blame him though.

"So please stahp…"

Another stone flew and hit him in the face. His aura might have been broken but it has done it's last job and protected the bandit leader. Albeit barely.

We were safe or that's how I feel. But I don't know if the mysterious aider was here to help us, or it's just eliminating his competitor.

My body is tense and I get goosebumps at the thought of the one who helped us turn out to be enemies.

Tap tap tap, I could hear footsteps and saw a lone blurry figure… wait a lone figure? Are you saying it's just one person, he must have a very strong semblance on him or his friends are hiding. Please, at least don't be an enemy…

"Yahoo~"

I pray to go- eh? So young, the figure's voice sounds like a young girl. Did my mind play a trick on me?

"That's a close one, are you okay?"
