"DING"

Kagami woke up to the noise of her phone, and saw Alya had texted. She and Alya got closer since they were both really good friends with Marinette.

A: Hey I heard what happened… you all good?
K: No, not really
A: How about we have a girls night out? Just me, you and Marinette. NO BOYS
K: cool, sounds like fun…
A: GREAT! I'll text Marinette… Meet us at the ice rink at 3:30!
K: Fine….

Kagami sighed and put down her phone. Going out with Marinette and Alya was the last thing she wanted to do… but deep down she knew that it was best for her. Kagami went upstairs, and took a shower, she didn't want to show the girls that she was weak over one break up. She did love Adrien though, and wondered why he would go and break her heart like this… and so suddenly.

Knock, knock

Marinette held her breath, as Luka opened the door to the houseboat that was now his. Juleka had moved out and was living at Rose's, and Anarka, was traveling the world with her new friend.

" Hey ma-ma-Marinette" Luka said with a laugh, when he opened the door.

"Hi Luka" Marinette said nervously, avoiding Luka's gaze. Luka noticed this right away and asked what was wrong.

"I was-"

"Wait" Luka said, cutting her off "Why don't you come inside?"

"NO!" Marinette exclaimed, she looked up to meet her boyfriends gaze, and saw that his eyes were wide. "I mean, no thanks!" She said, trying to keep the nervousness out of her voice.

"…Okay?" Luka was now trying to understand why Marinette was like this, I mean she never really was… unless there were akuma attack. That was understandable though, something happened and Mayura was able to stay out longer, and her sentimonsters, were somehow more powerful… she also had a lighter tint of blue to her, and more energy? Luka shook off the feeling that Marinette was hiding something, if she didn't want to tell him, he would respect that. No need to cause a fuss if she was going to tell him in the future… she would tell him, right?

"You ready for our date tonight?" He asked attempting to change the subject. Marinette visibly paled, this was going to be a lot harder than she thought.

"I'm going to have to break that date…" She started, trying to look Luka in the eye, but failed. "and with you"

"W-what? Marinette what are you talking about?"

"I would like to break up, Luka…" after the words left her mouth, Marinette turned and ran from Luka, not wanting to look back at his hurt expression.

Luka with a sad smile and tears running down his cheeks, whispered

"Happy Anniversary, Love"
