"Haahhh, I forgot how comfortable our beds were!" Nami said gleefully. Nami was currently wrapped up in her bed in all sorts of crazy positions while Robin giggled lightly as she put on her nightwear.

It was night time and the ladies of the Straw Hats were currently residing in the ladies' bedroom as they were finally going to re-experience sleeping in their room after being separated for two years.

"It has indeed been quite some time hasn't it Nami?" Robin said slipping on her shorts. Nami was wrapped up in two blankets and giggling like a little girl at a sleepover. Once fully dressed, Robin pulled out a book and picked up where she left off on it. Nami was on the bed thinking about how comfy she was, but there was a slight problem.

She was bored, and not at all tired.

"Hey Robin?" She asked out loud.

"Yes?"

"I know you're busy reading your book and all but, would you mind telling me a story?" Nami asked. Robin was a little surprised but smiled at her question.

"Ohh? Has all my time telling stories to Luffy and Chopper finally piqued your interest?" She teased. Nami only pouted and said she was only willing cause she was bored out of her mind.

"Alright then, make yourself comfortable Nami," Robin said closing her book and putting it away. Nami sat up while wrapped in her blanket and looked at Robin expectantly. To Nami's surprise, Robin didn't pull out another book and instead looked over at Nami.

"I suppose I can tell you a story back from Water 7 based on real events," Robin started. This earned a quizzical look from Nami but Robin began anyway.

"It all started after you all saved me from the World Government. It was when we were waiting for our new ship, it also happened during one of our shopping sprees through Water 7," Robin started. Nami wondered where Robin was going with this and hoped it would actually be interesting.

Robin went on about that certain day's activities and if this was Robin's secret way of making the navigator sleepy, she was succeeding. The story was just about her and Robin shopping so Nami didn't find anything interesting about. It was sounding like an auto-biography. The story carried on until Robin got to a pretty interesting topic about Zoro. It started off simple enough, just her and Robin shopping until Robin said that she saw a sight of Zoro that was simply unforgettable.

This piqued Nami's interest and she looked at Robin expectantly. Robin said that one time when they were out shopping, she asked Nami if she recalled a time where Nami thought Robin went missing for a bit. Nami thought back to one time and nodded her head.

Robin said her reason for disappearing was because she saw Zoro walking down the street of Water 7 but doing something out of the ordinary. Nami wondered what Zoro could do that was even more out of the ordinary than having green hair and walking around with 3 swords.

"It is hard to believe Zoro could do anything strange when he walks around like that, but what if I told you I saw Zoro walking around in a shirt that said mama in many sizes smaller. Along with the fact that he was carrying 3 babies and a few grocery bags, completing the look that resembled a mother," Robin finished. Nami audibly gasped at the absurdness of it all. Nami tried to picture Zoro holding 3 kids while wearing something so ridiculous. It just sounded so unlike him and Nami would be lying if she didn't picture someone else by his side.

"Well in any case, this was two years ago. I doubt our fellow swordsman would remember something like that in case you were wondering of questioning him," Robin said turning off her lamp.

"Heh...yeah you're probably right," Nami said turning off her lamp. A story so unbelievable shouldn't have stayed in Nami's head for so long but it did. Everytime she pictured Zoro and 3 kids, it made her feel something like she never felt before. If she were to descirbe it, it would be a mix of happiness and longing.

"Hey Robin...Zoro has watch tonight right?" Nami asked.

"And he's wide awake," Robin replied knowingly.

...Nami stood up and left the girl's room.

--

Meanwhile, Zoro was up and about but not working out surprisingly. He was looking out the window and just thinking about nothing in general. Zoro heard footsteps climbing up the ladder. He activated his Observation Haki and realised it was Nami. Why did he smile upon realizing it was her? He didn't know either.

"Hi!," Nami said with her head sticking out of the hatch door.

"Shouldn't you be asleep right now?" Zoro said acting indifferent.

"Now now, I was just listening to a story Robin was telling me and it made me want to hang out with you," Nami said standing behind him. He didn't turn around and Nami began to trace her fingers on his shoulder blades. Zoro cursed when he involuntarily shuddered at her touch. She giggled in victory and Zoro couldn't keep up his grouchiness any longer.

"Come here you," Zoro said turning around and grabbing the navigator. She yelped playfully when she felt his arms quickly wrap themselves around her waist and pull her into his embrace. She was now sitting on his lap and Zoro moved one hand up to her hair slowly. This time she shuddered at his touch but she didn't get a chance to act on it when Zoro began to kiss her.

"Mmm," she said enjoying the contact. She wrapped her arms around his neck and his hand twirled her orange locks between her fingers, enjoying the softness of her hair. She gripped his hair tightly and then pulled away slightly to look at him.

"I hope you forgive me for interrupting?" Nami said innocently. It was practically impossible for Zoro not to forgive her when she put on a face like that.

-Sighs- "Like I could ever be unhappy with you here" Zoro said.

"Hmm, do you love me that much?" Nami teased. Zoro fought down a creeping blush and merely looked the other way.

"I'm sure it goes both ways," Zoro said before he began to lightly suck on her neck. Nami wasnmt prepared for uis sudden assualt and although she enjoyed it, she didn't come up her for that.

"Ahh~Zoro, wait~" Nami said pushing him off of her. He looked back at her quizzically. She never actually stopped him from doing that when they were alone.

"What's wrong?" Zoro said going on the defensive. Nami sensed that Zoro had thought he did something wrong so she tried to clear things up.

"Nothing nothing, it's just that I actually came up here to ask you a question," Nami said, carefully planning her next words.

"What is it?" Zoro asked.

"Zoro...what do you think of...kids?" Nami asked.

Zoro froze.

"Nami...are you...?!"

"Eh? Oh OH! No no no I'm not!" Nami said flustered. She seemed to have already messed up her wording.

"What? Then what are you trying to say?" Zoro asked, getting flustered himself.

"Zoro, do you like kids?" Nami said at once.

...did he? Sure Zoro could tolerate them but actually like them? He's thought about kids before, but did he actually like them?

...

"I mean only if they aren't little annoying bastards then sure," Zoro replied. Nami looked a bit crestfallen at his answer.

"That's not an answer damn it," Nami said getting up. Zoro watched her as she plopped herself down on the bench nearby. She slapped her hands on her thighs, a motion Zoro was familiar with when it meant she wanted him to place his head there.

Zoro laid down and rested his head on her lap, Nami then began to gently scratch and rub his head. Zoro hummed in delight and closed his eye. He always enjoyed Nami scratching his head with those soft fingers of hers, they were heaven sent.

"Back to our conversation, what do you think about kids Zoro?" Nami asked, hopefully this time he had a valid answer this time.

Oh right, the topic. I gave it some thought and thought as to why Nami was suddenly asking this. She insisted that she wasn't pregnant to I came to the conclusion that she might want kids in the future. Or did she? Either way I wouldn't lie to her since one, it's dishonorable and two, she deserves the truth.

"Kids are alright, if fate ever decides to give me one then I promise to protect that kid with my life. Why the sudden interest Nami?" I said asking her.

"Oh nothing, just a story Robin told me," Nami replied.

"Really? And it made you think of me?" I asked, finding it unbelievable that a story about kids would make her think of me.

"Yeah, it was about you in Water 7 with a bunch if kids supposedly," Nami said, not bothering to hide her grin. Zoro's face paled, he remembered that day as good as Kuina's death since it was one of the most embarassing moments of his life.

"Damn that woman..! She swore to never tell anyone too!" Zoro said flustered. Nami only giggled at his expense before going down to kiss him on the forehead.

"She also said that you looked like a great mother," Nami added, practically egging him on at this point.

"Damn her..." Zoro said grumpily, the only thing keeping him from walking away was Nami's fingers. Fingers such as hers should not feel so good damn it.

"Good, I would hope that the father of my children would be a good one. But I suppose you could be the mom if you wanted to," Nami said, looking away from him. Zoro froze, what did she say? Before he could force her to repeat herself, she removed his head from her lap and walked over to pick up the spare blankets and pillows she brought with her.

"I hope you don't mind, it's just that it's going to be a cold one this time," Nami said walking back over to him.

"Huh? But," Zoro asked, fumbling his words.

"Hm? What?" Nami asked, though she secretly knew why he was acting flustered.

"...Do you really plan on having kids with a guy like me?" Zoro asked. Nami's eyes widened a bit, who else would she have kids with?

"What do you mean a 'guy like you?' As far as I'm concerned, you're the only guy like you!" Nami said. Zoro stiffened and realised that she seemed to have already planned out his future for him.

"Damn Witch..." Zoro grumbled before he got up and assisted her in making their make-shift bed. Once they were finished, Nami went to bed early and that gave Zoro plenty of time to think about the future for himself. He thought about kids and what Nami said. He supposed honorable men like him usually liked to leave their legacies behind in a form of a child. Zoro was adamant that he would never have kids until he completed his dream, ever since he first set sail. Him and Nami still had their own dreams to achieve and a child now would not be ideal as of this moment. Speaking of Nami, she was currently hugging his arm and sleeping soundlessly. Her snores were quiet like a mouse, her skin felt like a baby seal's skin. She must've been really tired from today, she was usually the one who stayed awake out of them. The thought of sleep made Zoro's own eyes drift off and he grew drowsy. Before he entered the realm of sleep, he turned over and lightly kissed Nami on her forehead.

"Goodnight Nami," Zoro said after he wrapped his other arm around her and snuggled her closer. She unconsciously smiled in her sleep.

--

Morning light seeped in through the window and it woke up Nami. She blinked a couple times and when she began to stretch, she felt pain in her neck. She must've slept the wrong way on Zoro's arm, speaking of which.

"Zoro, it's time to wake up," Nami whispered softly while rubbing his pectoral. Zoro grunted in his sleep and turned over, taking her share of the blanket and revealing her to the cold, chilly air. Well, no more miss nice Nami.

"ZORO, WAKE UP!" Nami said pulling his ear closer to her mouth. Zoro winced and sat straight up, ready to hear what his navigator had to say. He grumbled about being woken up so early. It took him a bit of time for everything around him to register. For some reason he felt like he needed to do something...!

"Oh right, Nami i've been thinking last night," Zoro said, remembering to do what he told himself last night. Nami looked at him with an eyebrow raised, what was he thinking about?

"What?" She asked a bit annoyed.

"I think...I'd want to have kids too someday," Zoro said looking straight at her. Nami smiled, he better have! Bellemere would want little kids running around in her garden surely. Bellemere always told her and Nojiko to have lots of kids to help around the garden before she met her fate. Nami then thought aabout little green and orange heads running around in the garden. Nami was sighing and Zoro wondered why she looked so happy.

"But, only after we fulfill our dreams," Zoro's voice said, interrupting her daydream. Nami nodded and ignored him to go back to her daydream. Hmmm what to name them? Oh well, they'll figure it out when the time came. Zoro then began to climb down the ladder, completing his shift of watch. Little did they know, Robin had summoned an ear and listened in on their conversation.

"Fufufu, it seems my prediction was correct," Robin said as she lsitened to Zoro admit to wanting kids.

"Perhaps Nami could tell me a story in the future when she has kids of her own," Robin said, closing her book. She left her book on Nami's desk and proceeded to get herself ready for the day. A book filled with children's names and their origins never failed to keep someone entertained, especially if they had a partner.

A/N: Ending sucked, I know. On an unrelated note, thank you to the guest who reviewed recently. I was heartened by your words and it makes me happy to hear that I am improving as a writer.

As for your request, I have it planned. For the scene you are wishing for, I will try my best to make as satisfactory as possible. It will probably be out after the next one or two stories I have planned so stay tuned. All grammar mistakes belong to me unfortunately, and goodbye.
