The next day as Alexis is waiting by the creek she soon hears a noise and sees a bobcat. Alexis then stays still by the tree in hopes the cat won't see her only for it to see her and hiss at her before Alexis takes off in a hurry to get away. While running Alexis soon trips and falls down a small hill and ends up with her foot caught in a wire
"Oh! What a time to get caught by these stupid human traps!" Alexis says in annoyance as she tries to get her foot loose.
"Come on already. Why won't this stupid wire break!?" Alexis shouts frustratedly as she tries biting and pulling before hearing rustling and growls before seeing a human man.
"Oh. What have we here? Looks to be a wolf pup." The man says as he goes to come toward Alexis causing her to growl more.
"Keep away from me!" Alexis shouts angrily as she shows her fangs to the man.
"It's alright girl. I won't hurt you." The man says as he tries to grab Alexis.
"Yeah right you crazy human. Keep away from me!" Alexis shouts as the man jeeps trying to grab her.
"Come on now girl. I gotta get you out of there. Ow!" The man shouts as he grabs Alexis only for her to bite him before he lets go of her.
"Hey! What are you doing to my human!?" A voice shouts as a female brown dog puppy comes out of the bushes and growls at Alexis.
"Easy now Collie. She's just scared as any wild wolf would be. Come to think of it I haven't seen any wild wolves around here and it's highly unusual for a wolf pup to be left alone like this. Come on girl. Alright now. Settle down. I won't hurt you. You can bite me all you want but I'm not gonna hurt you. I can't just leave you here. I'll take you back home and see if I can't find your parents tomorrow." The man says as he grabs Alexis and gets her foot loose.
"No! No put me down! I don't wanna go with you!" Alexis shouts as she tries to get loose from the man with no luck as he walks off with her and Collie.
*Three Weeks Timekskip*
As Alexis is playing with Collie she notices the man that rescued her come inside the house and sit down before Alexis cautiously walks over to him.
"Well girl still no luck. I guess I found an orphan pup." The man says as Alexis looks at him unimpressed as he walks off.
"No duh. What gave you that clue human? The lone wolf pup or the trapped wolf pup?" Alexis asks as Collie looks at her.
"You know you could stand to be nicer to my human Weedon Scott. He didn't have to take you in." Collie says as Alexis looks at her.
"Then why did he? He's a human. He shouldn't care about me. I'm just a lone wolf pup." Alexis says.
"But he did and he does care about you. He cares about all animals. He's the kindest human I have ever met and you have been nothing but none trusting to him since he showed you so much kindness. Would it really kill you to give him a chance? If you're a alone it would give you a chance at a home. Wouldn't your rather belong to a home than out alone in the cold?" Collie asks as Alexis looks away.
"That's debatable." Alexis says coldly.
"Ugh. Just give him a chance before you decide. What's it gonna cost you?" Collie asks as Aldi's looks at Weedon Scott before slowly going over to him.
"Hey there girl." Weedon Scott says as Alexis let's him touch her.
"Well now. That's the first time you've willing let me pet you. I'm sorry I couldn't find your parents girl. Hey I got it. I'll keep you as my pet. I think I'll call you Alexis. I had an aunt named that. She was just as spirited as you are. Well welcome home girl. Tomorrow I'll go out and get you a proper collar and bed." Weedon Scott says as Alexis barks as he pets her.
