Chapter 2: Kurt Visits Quinn

Blaine and Kurt came by to visit Quinn on the day Noah had to go back overseas. Santana, Burt, and Carole were already there. Liza Marie was asleep laying next to Quinn as she sucks her thumb. This made Kurt break down crying before he says, "I can't do this. Supporting Puck is one thing, but I can't do this again. She is supposed to be out of that bed telling us to have faith! I gotta go!" Soon Kurt is storming out and Burt follows him into the hall. Burt chuckles as he sees Kurt sitting in the floor with his legs against his chest before saying, "Son, you will never change." Then Burt sat down beside Kurt before saying, "We have to be strong for Puck here son. Remember how he was when Finn died? He took it just as hard as Rachel did. Now, he could lose Quinn and his daughter. I don't know what I would do if I lost both you and your mom. Hell, son, if it wasn't for you I wouldn't be with Carole right now."

This makes Kurt look at Burt before saying, "Puck told me about how brave Liza Marie was when Quinn had the stroke. I remember I was crying so hard the day mom had hers that you couldn't understand what I was saying. Dad, I couldn't even read Sleeping Beauty for years without thinking about mom and last night I couldn't read it to Liza Marie because of Quinn. Dad this is so unfair! What if Quinn dies after her daughter is born?!"

Soon Santana is storming out into the hall saying, "Kurt, Quinn is not like your mom! She had Beth without dying and she will have Little Elizabeth without dying too! Now, shut the Hell up! I'm sure if your mom could hear Mr. H. Then Quinn can hear you! I am not going to let my best friend hear anyone else say anything negative while she is laying in a coma! Did you know she made us Little Elizabeth's godparents if her and Puck die? Kurt, I want to be a mom but not like that!"

Before Santana can say another word, Liza Marie is storming out into the hall and says, "Auntie Tana, shut it! You're making Auntie Queenie sad!" Then they hear Quinn's heart monitor going off before nurses run into the room to save her.

While Noah was overseas he wrote to Burt and Santana asking how Quinn was doing. Liza Marie would even send him pictures of Quinn as Sleeping Beauty with letters about how Maleficent was a big meanie for hurting Quinn. Which would make him laugh a little because he knew she was a kid and didn't totally understand about all this.

When he got back from being overseas Burt picked him up and took him to see Quinn who was close to her due date by now and still in the coma. As Noah touched her belly he breaks down and started throwing things around the room not saying a word. Santana and Blaine stand in the doorway just watching him. Then Noah fell to his knees as Burt has Santana and Blaine to go out into the hall. As Burt helps Noah up before saying, "Puck, there hasn't been much of a change since you left and Kurt stopped bringing Liza Marie last week. The only thing that's changed is that she cries a lot. My first wife, Elizabeth would do that too before…"

Then Burt stopped himself before Noah says, "Quinn is not like Kurt's mom Mr. H! I refused to believe that she will die and it's thanks to Liza Marie that I believe that she will live!" Before he looks at the Sleeping Beauty book she left and says, "I have kissed her lips so many times hoping she would wake up! God, I am a fool! How could I believe that a kiss would wake Quinn up? This is crazy!"
