Hello! Wanna take the time to thank anyone who read the first chapter of this story and my first fanfic. Really appreciate it.

Adam was afraid, afraid of the Silver Eyed warrior. Since his body just recently obtained the negative power of Grimm, he was defenceless to it since his aura didn't fuse with it.

Come to think of it, Ruby. She has, "silver eyes."

"Huh?" Ruby spoken up. "Silver eyes?"

"Huh?" Also said Adam. His Inner thoughts was now kicking his alter-ego ass for saying that out loud. It was too late now, she already heard him. "Silver Cursed Eyes? Ever heard of that?"

"Silver...Cursed Eyes?" Ruby said, she never heard the "cursed" part in that.

"It's the actual name of your eyes." Qrow joined it, quite surprised that Adam knew about it.

"Okay, but why are they cursed?" Ruby asked.

"Because..." Adam was about to tell her but Qrow shook his head in the background. "Nevermind."

Ruby frowned, puffing up her cheeks in piqued and adorable anger. "Making me curious and not telling me is so mean! Uncle Qrow? Can you tell me?" Ruby looked at Qrow.

"Sorry...but I don't have any info. It's just what I've heard from Ozpin." Qrow lied.

He found her, accidentally and now he's traveling with her. Adam inner thoughts was combating with his other half, wondering if he should just flee or not. From what it looks like, she doesn't see him as an enemy and he isn't very soak on working for Salem. Hell, he could just run away with the power up and return to the White Fang. "Hm."

The bright day past with Adam still awake, he needed to train his body and aura for the negative Grimm power. While training by himself, he was met with Jaune? Jaune look a bit bewildered and surprised. "Your training?" He asked.

"Is that a surprise?" Adam questioned, noticing that Jaune had both his sword and shield.

"Well, yeah. I mean, you fight and move like a professional hunter so I didn't think you need the train." Jaune replied.

Adam laughed, "Haha, true, but even strong warriors like me need to train." He arrogantly said. "So, what's with the sword and the shield? Are you planning to train as well?"

Jaune nodded. "You're a swordsman too, right? Maybe we can train together?"

Adam gripped his Wilt sword, staring at Jaune. "Sure."

The two casually sparred with just there swords with Adam being the superior swordsman. Jaune wasn't familiar with the Iaido combat style and was caught off guard by his sudden attacks. "Your moves aren't bad but they are predictable." Adam stated.

Jaune was panting a bit. "Predictable?" He said. He knows what it means, actually it reminded him of Pyrrha since that's what she always told him when they sparred. It frustrated him a bit since it didn't know how to be unpredictable. "Its so confusing? How can I be unpredictable?"

"Round 2?" Adam says.

Jaune gripped the wilt of his sword and attacked Adam. Jaune slashed his sword repeatedly at Adam. Adam was only blocking them while barely pulling his Wilt sword out of its sheath. Responding back, Adam soon pulled out his sword out where Jaune eyes widened and stumble back as Adam didn't even attack. "I didn't attack yet. But your is guard open. Why is that?" He says, holding his hand out to help Jaune back up.

"I didn't know where you were going to attack at, so it startled me." Jaune replied, accepting his help, getting somewhat a better idea of what Adam meant. "I see what you mean."

"Exactly." Adam said.

Jaune started to remembered his sparring matches with Pyrrha.

"Shield forward, keep your sword back!" Pyrrha commanded.

Both Pyrrha and Jaune strike into that combat stances. "In combat, you're always trying to keep yourself protected and stay unpredictable. That's why your shield is always forward and sword back. The shield is to protects you, obviously but it hides your reaction hench why your sword is in the back lines." Pyrrha explained.

"I never thought of it that way." Jaune said. Curiously, he asked. "So what if I didn't have a shield?"

"It stays the same but you'll be more keen on using your sword and body as a defense and offense."

"Alright. Let's attempt that again." Jaune said, getting back in his combat stance.

Adam stepped back to gain some distance. First, Jaune again charged first with his hands both gripped on the wilt of his sword, swinging wildly at Adam. Instead of blocking it, Adam skipped back, dodging the blade with it being an inch away from his neck. Using the momentum, he spun a roundhouse kick at Adam's abdomen which he blocked with his knee. "Nice, I was expecting another sword swing."

"Really? Then how did you react to that?" Jaune asked, bringing his leg back down.

"Being unpredictable doesn't mean your attack is always successful." Adam said. "And sometimes, being unpredictable might be predictable to others."

Jaune groaned. "Ugh, I'm already getting tired of that word."

Adam shrugged. "Oh well. You should keep up with that, also train on your reaction and possibly moving speed." Adam stated, heading back to the camp. "We should continue this some other time."

Jaune nodded his head, picking his shield back up while returning his sword back into his sheath. While they were heading back to the camp, they could see...Ruby pacing back and forth, talking to herself? The others were asleep but she wasn't. Even Jaune was confused despite traveling with her and even going to school with her.

"Everything is going to be okay." She muttered to herself repeatedly while her head was bowed down. "Gotta keep pushing forward."

"Is she's okay?" Adam asked Jaune.

"I don't know. This is the first time I've seen Ruby this away," Jaune replied. The two made themselves known with Jaune greeting, "Ruby! You good there?"

Startled, Ruby jumped up before turning her head to both Adam and Jaune, smiling brightly. "Oh no no no, I'm fine! Just had some trouble sleeping! So I'm just counting chickens- I mean sheep!"

That was blatantly a bad lie, even Ruby knew it so she just played it off by snuggling into her sleeping bag while saying, "goodnight!"

"Weirdo." Adam said while heading to his sleeping bag, same for Jaune but he was concern for Ruby.

The very next day, Adam awoken up quite early. Only Qrow and Ren was up. Ren was busy doing light training while Qrow was laid back against a tree, groaning that he was empty on alcohol. "Shit and Mistrial is still a long way." He complained. He then noticed that Adam was awake. "Hey kid, you got some alcohol on ya? Beer or anything?"

Adam shook his head. "Not much of a drinker."

Qrow then remembered that Adam knew about Ruby's eyes, not only that but the actual name of it. While that wasn't strange, he didn't want the history of it to leak out to Ruby. "Hey, can we talk for a moment?" He asked.

Adam yawned before standing up. "I got time."

Qrow and Adam had took some distance away from everybody else. Qrow first spoken up. "So, what do you know about the Silver Cursed Eyes?"

Adam inner thoughts felt pressured, he doesn't know the history of Silver Eyed Warriors with the exception that they must've be killed by Salem and her goons. Playing it cool, he shrug his shoulders. "Is there something I shouldn't know?"

"It's important to me," Qrow said, rather calmly. "Actually its important for my niece to not to know. You see, her mother was a Silver Eyed Warrior and unfortunately she was another victim to the curse."

"Let me guess, she was killed?" Adam assumed.

Qrow sighed. "You see, Ruby believes that her mother is still alive, still being a huntress but...it didn't end well."

Adam didn't know anything about Ruby but even his inner thoughts felt that was a cruel thing to do. "I don't have much say since I just met you guys. But I think lying to her isn't the right way to go about it."

"You're right but it wasn't my idea. It was her dad's." Qrow stated.

Adam blew a sigh and tilted his head. At least he has firm knowledge about why they're called Silver Cursed Eyes, actually he felt quite...bad? He gave himself a firm tap on the head, trying to knock his alter-ego sympathy out for their head. "I understand. I won't tell."

Qrow felt appreciated, really hoping that Adam keep his word. It been a week and a half later, they've made to a village with actual people there. It wasn't Haven or anything but it look very stable and wealthy enough to be consider a small town. "About time we've made it to a village with people...is this Mistral?" Nora asked.

"Nope, its a small town called Yalishin but its connected to Mistral." Ren stated, pointing at there location at the map.

"Oh, so that means Haven is not that far away." Jaune beamed.

Ren also again shook his head. "Two days away on foot."

Jaune sighed, visibly tired. "At least we can rent a hotel room now."

Qrow tapped Adam on the shoulder, whispering over, "Hey Bullseye, ought warn ya that this town isn't so kindly to Faunus either. So keep ya guard up."

That interested Adam, he wondered if there's any A.F.O members here. Not gonna attempt to cause drama but he was looking for trouble, his inner self was. Adam given Qrow some money, so he can pay for his room. Adam was sitting on a bench that was an active part with a sketch book while others unpacked, well except for Ruby, who suddenly plopped right in front of him. "Heya, Argus! Whatcha doin?" She asked, looking over his sketch book to find a rather disturbing yet neatly sketch of a bull impaling a human aggressively with its horns.

Adam quickly moved away when noticing that Ruby was seeing his drawing. "Hey, hey let me see!" Ruby asked.

"It's...offensive..." Adam muttered.

"I thought it look pretty cool!" Ruby complimented.

Adam squinted, "seriously?" He questioned, showing the drawing to her in clear-view.

Ruby nodded her head innocently. Adam only frowned at her, her innocence felt weird to him. "You know what it represents?"

Ruby blinked, staring at the drawing narrowly. "I guess you're suppose to be the bull, stabbing that guy? Its so meta or whatever weird slang my sister would say."

Adam closed his sketch book and stuffed it into his backpack. Ruby, confused about the bull-horned Faunus reaction, followed him. "You okay?"

Adam sighed and stopped to look at Ruby. "Why are you and your friends are being nice to me? Shouldn't you be angry that I'm a Faunus?"

"No? I don't see you any different from any other person? And I'm sure my friends and Uncle think the same." Ruby said.

This was Adam true self speaking and honestly, he felt really weirded out by Ruby's and her friends quick acceptance. He hated humans, Humans hate him and the Faunus but she and her friends doesn't despite being Humans? Ruby began giggling which made Adam frown in annoyance. "What's so funny?"

"You remind me of my friend Blake." Ruby says.

Adam eyebrows risen when that name was brought up. "Blake?"

Ruby nodded. "Yup. She's a Faunus like you. She also felt uncomfortable showing her Faunus side and was very moody but she grew to like us and stop hiding herself from us."

Adam wasn't surprised, Blake was accepting to humans after a period of time in the White Fang, he understood why but didn't like it but now, he felt so confused. He started to walk off again with Ruby following him. Playfully, she swooped off Adam's bucket hat, leaving him exposed. "I think you look better without your hat."

Adam angrily glared at her with his cheeks hue in red from embarrassment. He stormed at her and reached for his hat. "Gimme my hat back!"

Ruby held him back while keeping the hat out of his reach with her other hand. "It's not needed! Show the world who you are." She said in a comical inspirational tone.

"Its a sun hat!"

"Then why do wear it when you're asleep?"

"Its a habit!" He lied.

As the two was bickering, a couple of guys were walking by, noticing Adam and Ruby bantering. They didn't think anything about them until they saw Adam's horns.

"Give it back!" Adam yelled.

Suddenly Adam was shoved aggressively away from Ruby that caught him and Ruby both off guard. "Stop harassing that girl you filthy Faunus! You want to fight someone? Fight me!"

Ruby blinked confusingly as the other guy tried to comfort her as if she was hurt. "I'm fine, we were just playing around."

The guy that attacked continued to antagonized Adam. Adam was visibly pissed at the antagonizer words. "Scram you fuckin animal before I beat yo- gulgp!" The man gasped and choked after Adam sent a heavy chop to his throat. Already, the man cowered and stumbled back, didn't expect for Adam to attack him back.

"Wait a minute," Ruby exclaimed, getting in front of Adam, trying to defuse the bomb that was already exploding.

The other guy saw his friend on the ground, gasping for air. "You bitch! I'll kill you, you fuckin scum." He threaten Adam, approaching Adam in a threatening manner.

Adam wasn't dealing with it so he pull Ruby out the way and went to go handle his business. The guy attempted to launch a punch but Adam weaved pass it and launch his fist straight into the man's nose, before he could fall though, Adam grabbed his potential's victim by the shirt so he can sent a message by repeatedly pounding his fist into the man skull. Ruby watched, not traumatized...since she saw people died but surprised and very concerned for the man's well-being. She didn't mind watching a fight but Adam was going full crazy.

The guy drop flat unconscious with a busted lip, broken nose, and a couple of bruises around his eyes. Adam was about to stomp him out but Ruby tugged and held him back before he could. "Argus, he's down! You don't have to do anything else."

Adam growled but he started to calm himself. He then glared at Ruby and held out his hand for his hat. Ruby still didn't want to give it back but understood why he needed due to the situation right now. All eyes were on them, mainly Adam but he didn't care. Putting his hat back on, he walked away.

"He, what?" Nora spoken up.

Ruby was in the inn with the others, talking about Adam's incident. "Yeah, I didn't think it was going to escalate like that."

Qrow chuckled. "They did asked for it but now I'm a bit worried for Bull head. These Faunus discriminators are extreme and some of them are trained in combat. Hell, they hate Faunus so much that they created a cult just to spite them."

"I wonder what he's doing." Ruby said to herself.

Meanwhile and later.

Those guys that Adam beaten up, recovered. (To give them names, the one who got throat chopped name is Tyler while the other is Dantle.)

Dantle wasn't expecting to get a beaten like that, honestly...it scared him because he thought he was going to die. Tyler on the other hand was pissed that a Faunus put his hands on him. He wanted payback. "Stupid Faunus..." he muttered, dialing a number in a scroll while looking outside the window, spotting Adam back at the park. "Hey Dantle, take a picture of that Faunus. We're gonna teach that punk bitch a lesson."

Adam had been alone by himself for a long time and since he was in control over his body, he felt disgusted and conflicted with himself, figuratively of course. It was almost dark and he was thinking that it was best to head back to the hotel.

Something felt strange though, negative emotions were approaching rather fast and from multiple angles. It was night so nobody shouldn't be out. Quickly, Adam rolled off the bench to avoid an surprise attack of multiple people. Glaring at his adversaries, he noticed that they were in black hooded clothes with a small symbol that said A.F.O on it on the upper right side of their chest.

Grinning, Adam muttered, "perfect."

"Kill him, quick!" An A.FO member said.

A couple A.FO member charged at him simultaneously with daggers while some stood in the background with either guns (silencers on them) or trying to get swoop behind him. Adam brought out Wilt sword as they approached. With clashed with them both as the back attackers fired their guns, mainly aiming at Adam's leg but Adam quickly skipped back.

Some others tried to catch him from behind but Adam manage to stopped himself before flipping behind them. He then loaded his gun with his own sword before firing it at the ground. The energy that the sword absorbed from the recent melee clashes exploded, causing a small screen around the A.F.O members with weapons.

SLASH

CRACK

Bloodcurdling grunting sounds could be heard, blood splatters shot out the smoke. The gunners started shooting rapidly until their bullets ran out of ammo and needed to reloaded. "He survive...none of that?" One of them said, afraid that the blood that was spilled was his fellow members. And right he was, as the smoke cleared, Adam could be seen holding a dead body of their member's who was riddle with holes. The other dead members were either stabbed and decapitated.

Adam causally tossed aside the corpse, laughing very cheerfully. "Ah, I needed this. Feels like a major stress reliever." He said, glaring at the remaining foes.

They...dropped their guns, now feared of their lives. "W...w-we surrender! "

"What was that?" Adam rhetorically questioned. "You surrender now because I'm not so defenseless? How pathetic you useless fucks are. I'll like to imagine how the Faunus's you ruthless murdered begged for their lives! And I bet you didn't give them a chance."

"I-I...please, we'll leave! We won't cause anymore trouble to yo-"

Before that A.F.O member could finish, everything went black. Like he did with Yang, the male Faunus appeared behind his now victim in the lunge position. But instead of an arm falling off, it was the man lower body slipped and dropped. Before the other one could react, Adam impaled his sword through their skull only leaving one more left.

POW!

POW!

POW!

The remaining attacker, scared and now extremely traumatized for his life, unloaded the last bullets of his gun which were easily deflected. "P-please! Please! Don't kill me! I've never killed a Faunus before! C'mon- oof!" The gasped out after Adam punched the guy right in the abdomen. Then knocking him completely out with a blow to the head.

A bit later, the man (his name is Hahncen) had water splashed onto him. It was Adam, standing upon him with a glare that could kill. "Wake the hell up, unless you want to end up like your friends." He threatened.

Hahncen began hyperventilating when noticing Adam. He didn't imagine that a Faunus would be so skilled and ruthless. Not only that but watching the people he worked with dying in gruesome ways extremely traumatized him. "W-what do you want? M-money? I-its in my house a-a-"

SLAP!

Spit flung out of Hahncen's mouth as Adam's opened hand made impact with his cheek. "Shut up. All I want is answers. The Anti Faunus Operation, where's their hideout in Haven?"

"W-what?"

"The Anti Faunus Operation. You know what I'm talking about."

Hahncen tried to calm himself. "U-uhm...I forgot but...I can give you some info. Do you know Lionheart?"

Adam tilted his head. "Yes, he's the Headmaster of Mistral."

"You see...he's a Faunus too and knows things about the Anti Faunus Operation."

Adam found that interesting. Lionheart has always been known as a Human, so it made sense why he's a Headmaster in one of the racist places. Hahncen continued to rat out, "The A.F.O knows he's a Faunus as well but they allowed him to stay as Headmaster, using him for his position."

"So he's aware about the discrimination and allowing it so he can keep his position?" Adam assured.

Hahncen nodded. "Lionheart isn't a strong-willed leader...both mentally and physically."

"So he's a coward," Adam thought. A Faunus working for Humans, allowing Humans to kill and hurt other Faunus's. It infuriated him. Glaring at Hahncen, he loaded his Blush rifle with Lightning dust, pointing at Hahncen, raising the man's panic levels up. "Now listen, I'm going to allow you to live but," Hahncen leg was shocked with many volts of electricity, causing him to scream in pain. "If any word gets out about me, I already know who to kill. And unlike your friends, I'll make sure its painful." He threatened.

"Y-you have it..."

"Oh and one more thing."

Back with Ruby, she and the others were in the front-room, just talking. "This feels so refreshing! A bed, a shower, food that's not ramen noodles with different spices." Nora said excitingly.

Ren chuckled a bit. "Heh. Yeah, it does feel good to be in a room again." He said with slight emotion in his voice.

Jaune glanced at Ruby, feeling like its the perfect time to talk. "So how you feeling?"

Ruby squinted, "about earlier?"

"That and in general." Jaune clarified, "we've been catching you talking to yourself about...Beacon."

Ruby eyes jolted up but wasn't surprised that she was caught. "Yeah...it just...I'm scared that something like that might happens again. I wasn't strong nor fast enough to save anyone."

She said, remembering how defenseless she was when engaging with Mercury and how she couldn't save Pyrrha from Cinder.

Qrow joined in the conversation. "It's the sad part about being a hunter. We can't always save everyone..."

A loud ruckus could be heard outside, everybody curiously went to look outside the window. Some Grimm was attacking Tyler's house. "Grimm!" Ruby exclaimed.

"AGHH! H-help!" Tyler screamed, being ruthlessly mauled by a couple Bear-like Grimm. One clutched its jaws around Tyler's neck, instantly. "gugh."

Ren and Nora arrived and disposed the Bear Grimm but was too late to save Tyler and Dantle who's lifeless bodies were mauled beyond recognition. "Jeez..." Nora said.

Ruby and the others were fighting Grimm outside, while doing Jaune came across a dozen of lifeless bodies. It was the same A.F.O members that encountered Adam. Jaune assumed that Grimm already got to them. "Damn."

A Grimm roared behind Jaune, about to attack him but from interference, a bullet pierced through the Grimm's head. Jaune noticed and then stared at the gunner which who was Adam. "Oh Argus. We thought you left."

Adam who is having his alter-ego in control, snickered. "You think I'm gonna leave right away after all that walking?"

Qrow glance around, seeing all the Grimm were already gone. Actually, this Grimm attack wasn't even catastrophic and destructive compared to the other Grimm attacks he seen. "Clear." He said.

Ren and Nora approached the others. "Everyone secured, only two casualties though."

"Actually..." Jaune looked at the dead corpse of the A.F.O members.

Qrow and the others came over to look. "God..." Ruby muttered.

"Don't feel too bad." Qrow replied. "They're part of an organization that's known for killing innocent Faunus's."

The others were still disgusted at how gruesome it was. Back at the hotel inn, Ruby noticed that Adam was very cheerful which isn't a bad thing. Actually, she thought it was the perfect time to apologize. "Hey Argus, sorry for what happen earlier. I didn't think anything was going to escalate from that."

"Huh?" Adam said. "Oh...um, I'm sure you meant well."

"Oh, if that's the case." She swooped his hat off again, this time, ready for his reaction. "I'll take your hat back."

While he was visibly embarrassed without his hat, he simply got up and left to his hotel room. "Whatever, keep it if it makes you feel happy." He replied.

Ruby furrowed her eyebrows at his nonchalant response. She then noticed a bit of blood on the back of Adam's foot, it weirded her a bit but she didn't think much about it and thought it might've came from an accident.

Tomorrow

Adam decided to leave while they were asleep. His inner self hated the feeling but he was quite enjoyed his little travels with Qrow and Team RNJR but it didn't change his opinion humans, especially after that incident with a couple of randoms and his fight with the A.F.O members. So if it did came to past that he had to fight them, he wouldn't hesitate but currently, he needed the Grimm power to be compatible with his body and aura. It was useful, it killed those two jackasses who wouldn't mind their business and it gave Ruby and her team something to do. "Blake, she's gonna be there. Her friend is there..."

A call came to Adam's scroll, obviously being Sienna Khan. He answered it. "Yes High Leader?"

"Adam, it's been awhile. How's the mission?" Sienna asked.

"I'm still not in Mistral yet but I did encounter Humans who allied with the Anti-Faunus group." Adam stated.

"And I'm sure your interactions with them went very well." She joked.

Adam chuckled a bit. He then noticed that hovercrafts were flying over to Yalishin. Only big, wealthy cities have those and from the direction they're coming from, it was Mistral hovercrafts. "Would be useful." He thought, "hey, I'll call you back when I'm at Mistral."

"Very well. Stay safe soldier."

Sienna hang up. Adam allowed his after half to take control so they can use their Super Speed semblance to get to Haven faster.

Back with the others.

Eaten, hydrated, loaded with food and fully freshen. The whole gang was ready. Curious if Adam was still here in Yalishin, Ruby knocked on his room door. "Argus? You up! We're about to leave to Haven?"

She didn't get any response so she came in unannounced. She couldn't find him anywhere. "He isn't here."

Jaune walked in. "He's probably gone off to Haven."

"Oh." Ruby mumbled, leaving the room along with Jaune.

"Don't worry, we'll be there a loooot quicker." Qrow said, noticing that the Mistral Hovercrafts were outside were hovering down in the middle of the village.

Hope you enjoy this chapter.
