I could feel something cold against my head and body. Like cold stone. All I saw when I opened my eyes was darkness. It made me tired, so I just rested. I felt something hit something hard around me and I felt the vibrations of the impact and then a jolt like a sudden stop and then light. It was almost blinding. I felt as tired as I fell to the ground.
I saw images of my surrounding. I don't know how much time was spaced between each image, but every time I open and closed my eyes the image grew darker and darker.
I crawled out of a ditch and into a forest. I saw the trees and leaned against them for strength. I couldn't bare my own weight and I heard howling in the distance. The sound hurt my ears. It was so loud. I bumped into what felt like a tree and almost fell to the ground.
Slowly my vision got better and I saw the sun's light finally dip away. The darkness growing until the moon reflected the suns light onto the world. I heard the howl again, but it was closer than before and it hurt my ears to listen to the long sound of a creature. Everything seemed peaceful as I leaned against my tree until a dark form knocked me to the ground and kept me down.
I put my hands up to block whatever was trying to slash at me, but failed as a claw hit me in my right eye and another on my left thigh. I could feel the warmness of my blood flowing out of the wounds. I tried to push the dog that was on me off, but I felt weak and tired. I heard laughing and I saw the glint of sharp teeth preparing to strike again on it's prey. I felt the teeth on my neck, but then I heard a whimper come from the others that had surrounded me. The teeth left my neck and the beast looked away from me. I felt the pressure of the beast leave my chest and heard the sound of claws digging into the dirt as the whole pack ran away in fear of something.
I slowly rose from the ground and saw what had scared the creatures that had just tried to kill me. I large blob of darkness rose high above my head. I could feel it's darkness with in my very soul. I tried to run, but my leg refused to work and I just stumbled back to the ground.
What was this thing? I watched as a dark slime spread forward and slowly covered my body. I tried frantically to get the slime off, but it just stuck to me and grew even more until I was completely covered by the slime. I couldn't breathe anymore and I slowly stopped moving. The slime felt cold and dark.
I felt it enter me and consume my mind. Something was made in me. Something dark and then I felt something warm. A blinding light pulsed in the darkness and I could see the light. It was a nice blue color. The slime seemed to be afraid of it and it backed away as the light got stronger. The slime disappeared and the light died. I felt tired again and wanted to sleep.
Images began to fade again and my vision came and went. Slowly the images I saw were spaced so far apart I couldn't tell how long they were coming and going. I saw the shape of a woman leaning over me, the ground as I was being carried by someone or something, and then a small hut or house coming into view until my eyes wouldn't open anymore.
I heard a feminine voice echo in my head. It kept ringing until I woke up. I saw a girl in a gray dress with a red spike sticking out of her chest looking over me. She had no nose and green hair. I tried to back away, but ran into a wall. I bumped my head and I heard her chuckle, but then grew concerned as I moved even more and I saw the bandages I had on my leg start to bleed through.
"Calm down. Please or your wounds will bleed through your bandages. I thought lucarios were supposed to be very good at controlling their emotions and remained calm half the time. This must be the other half." The women said.
I stopped as she said what I was.
"What did you call me?" I asked
"You are a lucario. You certainly look like one."
She brought over a small mirror and I looked into to see a jackal like creature with blue, black, and tan fur. I had a black fur mask with tall blue ears. My eyes were a deep blue and I had large appendages on the back of my head. I felt a large tail behind me and my tan fur covered my chest and a large spike protruded from my chest. I had paws instead of hands and they looked like black gloves, my thighs were like blue gym shorts with a black belt on them, and my legs were black dog like feet that helped me to stand right up if I needed to. I felt a bandage covering my right eye.
"What am I? Where am I? Why can't I remember anything? Who am I?" I asked.
She looked at me with confusion and then said, " Let me take a look." And then put her green hand to my head. I felt something enter my mind. A different presence was there and then it was gone.
The weird girl dropped her hand in frustration. I felt tired and rubbed my head.
"That is amazing. There is nothing inside of their besides the basic knowledge of the simple things like trees and food, but no knowledge of what you are or where you are. It's amazing." The girl said.
"How is that amazing? Who am I?" I said.
"Sorry. I just think it's amazing that an almost full grown lucario doesn't know anything and yet acts with a personality that thinks like they knew everything previously. Maybe you have amnesia or maybe your hit in the head, or maybe you have this weird brain disease. Oh this is so much fun. The thrill of the discovery."
I just looked at her. Who was this person? I didn't feel right just sitting here, but she did help me.
"Where did you find me? I do remember being attacked by a dog of sorts and then this weird slime covered me and then there was a blue light." I said.
"Well before I talk about that. Let me clear something up. I am Patricia the Gardeovir. That is what kind of pokemon I am. You are a lucario. You know it would be easier to just show you what you can do and what you don't know." The girl said as she raised her hand again to my head.
I felt a little scared to let her back into my head, but it seemed like the best way to get some real information. I felt the need to find information like it was my lifeline.
Patricia placed her hand on my head and I felt the same intrusion like before, but instead of a search, loads of information poured into my head. I now knew what I was and what I could do, but not how I could do it. I now knew what other pokemon were what had attacked me last night, but not what had covered me afterwards. She left my mind and instead of feeling tired, I felt invigorated.
"Wow! So what had almost killed me last night was a mightyena and what had scared it what would scare a whole pack of them?" I asked.
"Stop. Your heart rate is excessively high. You need to calm down before your bandages-." Patricia started, but stopped.
I felt something warm. I looked down from to see blood overfilling my bandage and bleeding through. Patricia quickly got more bandages. She wrapped frantically to stop the bleeding.
"You need to calm down. I cannot lose another. Why were you out there?
"I don't-"
"Remember. I know. Mmmmmmmm maybe if I told you what I saw, it will jog your memory. I was out trying to study the dark sludge in the forest. You remember that weird slimy stuff. It's killing the forest and turning the pokemon into weird sludge monsters that would dissipate in the sunlight. Anyways, it was the dead of night when a large blue flash came from within the forest and I remembered my best friend Katrina was a lucario and that when she uses her amazing aura a blue light is emitted. I thought she was in danger and I wanted to see if what it looks like for my data. She never lets me study her power. Anyways, when I came to the source of the light I saw you on the ground. You were laying there."
She looked at me like I was a ghost, " I saw some of the black sludge get absorbed into your body."
"Then shouldn't I be dead or a sludge monster like you have been saying?" I asked.
"That's what I am wondering." Patricia said while getting closer to me. "let me check something."
She began to poke and prod at my body in different places. She didn't stop and I felt my anger begin to rise. "Stop it." I said, but she continued as if I had said nothing. My anger continued to rise as Patricia poked at different nerves. She took a glance at my face and stopped. She pulled out a notebook and began writing down what she had found out.
"How do you feel?" She asked.
"Angry." I answered.
"Mmmmm." She muttered something under her breathe as she wrote more down in her notebook. She then took her pencil and started to poke my face. My anger rose with every poke until I snatched the pencil from her hand and snapped in my fist. She looked at me with surprise in her eyes.
"How does this help?" I asked while struggling to keep my temper under control.
"Well, um, I can see something interesting when you get angry. Your, um, eyes turn from their deep blue color to crimson red." Patricia said.
"What?" Patricia gave me a mirror and I saw the red eyes finish drowning out my once ocean blue eyes.
I felt something awaken in me. I felt sick and wanted to throw up. My stomach refused to keep in whatever food it had in it. The muscles in my body began to contract and relax at an alarming rate, almost as if I was having a seizure. I fell off the bed and heard Patricia run to my side screaming at me, but I could not answer her. I felt my muscles grow and my skin stretch from the new size of my muscles. My bones began to crack and snap from the expansion of my muscles. I screamed in pain as my body went through. I could feel Patricia to try to hold me down, but to no avail, I continued my transformation. Eventually the pain was too much for me and I felt the world fade away from me.
