Uchia Clan Pendant
Reaching into the bowl, Ame feels something cold and thin brush along her fingers. Curious she pulls it out. The long, cold thing is a delecate chain of a necklace. There is a moonstone and ruby Uchia crest pendant that hangs from the thin chain. She is sets the necklace in the palm of her hand. She jumps when a hand covers the pendant and grabs her hand. Ame looks up to see the village famous Uchia Sasuke. Blushing lightly at the fact he had her hand. He leads her to a door off to the side. Looking around the room she sees that it is a type of study.
Bookshelves full of scrolls and books line the walls. A desk sits near a window with a big chair. In the center of the room is a couch with two sidetables on either side with matching lamps. Sasuke leads her to the couch and allows her to sit down as Kiba shuts the door and sets a timer.
"10 minutes you two."
"Sasuke you better not hurt her or I'll kill you!"
Ame blushes and looks down. Sasuke mumbles something about Naruto being a loser. She punches him in the shoulder.
"He's not a loser. You should understand him better than anyone. Why do you always put him down? I know he can be annoying and can be a bit much. But he is strong and holds to fighting for his dream. He is loyal and funny. and-"
Ame's face glows red as Sasuke moves close to her so their noses almost touch.
"Ame. Shut up."
She is about to go off on him when he leans in and kisses her. Ame is shocked feeling his soft but a little dry lips against hers. She reaches up with the intention of pushing him away but instead grabs his shirt and pulls him closer to her. Ame slowly closes her eyes and turns more towards him. When her lungs scream for air she pulls back panting. She looks at him to see he also is trying to catch his breath.
"Why?"
He cups her cheek and rubs her cheek with his thumb.
"You are innocent and sweet. You don't focus on finding a boyfriend. You care about others more than yourself. You are too good for this village. You are too good for me."
Ame looks at him and a tear rolls down her face. She gently grabs his wrist.
"Why does it feel like you are saying goodbye?"
He looks at her shocked then it is gone. He sighes and rests his head on her shoulder. He chuckles lightly and closes his eyes. he turns his head and puts it into her neck.
"Naruto was right. No one cant hide stuff from you."
Sasuke moves and sists up. Ame feels something tickle her neck. Reaching up to scratch it she finds the necklace on her. She looks at him questioning.
"Promise me you wont take this off? I'll come back when I am stronger and get you. If I had to pick anyone to be my girl and help me restore my clan. It'll be you."
Ame blushes and smiles lightly.
"Sasuke, I'm flattered. I truely am. You should give the necklace to Sakura. You may think her annoying but she is loyal to you. I know it's hard to see it sometimes, but she has a good heart. And it would be a great honor to be your girlfriend. Unfortunately though, Someone else had stolen my heart from me almost eight years ago."
She takes off the necklace and places it in his hand and closes his fingers around it.
"You have a great heart Sasuke. but you have it buried under revenge and hate. I'm not strong enough to heal that nor could I support it. The past should lie in the past. I hope you will stay safe and one day come home to the village."
She kisses his cheek one more time before getting up and heading to the door. It opens just as she reached for the knob. Kiba blinks in surprise.
"Uh time's up."
Ame smiles lightly and heads out back to her spot. She sits down and relaxes. Everyone glances from her to Sasuke. Naruto goes over to her and sits next to her.
"What happened?"
"We had a serious talk about team seven's individuals' character."
Ame smiles and glances at Sasuke seeing him lost in thought. She did give him a lot to think about.
