Codemonkey108: I see why you may think that but I disagree. Doom's hell also has a society. Albeit a much smaller one than in Hazbin Hotel's Hell, but still a society. The city of Immora. We go there in the DLC. While the Doom Slayer doesn't kill any civilians while there, that can be assumed that it's only because he didn't see any. All he saw was the military. All the civilians had likely been evacuated to a different part of the city specifically because the Slayer and the Knight Sentinels would have killed them if they saw them. I believe the Doom Slayer does not care if the demons have a society. If they are demons he is going to kill them, period. But that's just what I believe. I respect your opinion on the matter and will not try to force you to accept what I believe as cannon. To each their own.
FatMan15: Wow, that is very high praise! Thank you very much! And I do plan to finish it. Though I can't say how long it will be since I honestly have no idea. It can either be very long or relatively short. I don't know just yet.
Dontus -not Donut- Powerus: Do you honestly think the Slayer would care even if he did know about Charlie's plan for rehabilitation? Because I certainly don't. Their only hope is to find some way to send him back where he came from. He might actually agree to leave if they do find a way to send him back since he cares more about his version of Hell than Hazbin Hotel's version of Hell. Though no guarantees that will happen.
The drive took several hours but fortunately the seats of the APC were surprisingly comfortable. Not as comfortable as those in Charlie and Vaggie's limo but still comfortable all the same. Though how comfortable the seats were was quite possibly the last thing on Charlie's mind at the moment. No, she was much more concerned with the safety of her people, the green armored monster that was slaughtering them and consuming their souls, and the fact that her hotel had officially failed before it could even start to take off.
When the APC finally came to a stop and the hatch opened to let them exit, Charlie had been so lost in her thoughts that she hadn't even noticed. Vaggie gently shook her shoulder and said, "Hey, Charlie, we're here. We should go meet your dad and figure out just what the Hell is going on."
"Y-yeah… Alright…" Charlie muttered before unstrapping herself from her seat and getting up to follow Vaggie out of the armored vehicle. Stepping out, they were greeted by the sight of a massive castle. Normally Charlie would be very happy to be back here again but right now she felt nothing but grief and sorrow. With tears in her eyes and her head lowered, she made her way towards the entrance of the castle. Almost as soon as she and Vaggie walked into the door she was greeted by her mother who immediately wrapped her in a tight hug.
"Oh, Charlie, I'm so glad you're safe! After your father told me what was going on, I was so worried! You aren't hurt at all are you?" Her mother inquired.
"No, mom, I'm... I didn't get hurt…" Charlie muttered, returning the hug. "You said dad told you what was going on, so do you know who this man is or why he's doing all this?"
Lilith shook her head. "No. I only know the basics. Apparently this man is as powerful if not even more so than both your father and God himself, and he's not going to stop until he has destroyed each and every last demon in existence, including us…"
Both Carlie and Vaggie were taken aback by this news. "W-what?! How the fuck can this green armored douche be more powerful than God him-fucking-self?!" Vaggie exclaimed.
Lilith shrugged. "I honestly have no idea. That's just what Lucifer told me. I have never seen him look so serious or so… so scared in all the eons I've known him… He's on the phone contacting the Overlords and Ars Goetia right now. Apparently he's going to try to recruit them to help him fight this being. But considering how powerful he claims this person is, I'm not exactly sure how much they'll be able to do, other than slow him down a bit."
"Um… If he's really that dangerous, then why don't we try to negotiate with him instead of fighting him? I mean, we should be able to reason with him… r-right?" Charlie suggested uncertainly. She just wanted to end this with as few casualties as possible, so she saw negotiation as the better option as opposed to trying to fight him.
Lilith shook her head. "No. I sincerely doubt that would work. What Lucifer told me made it sound like this man hates demons more than anything in existence and his one and only desire is to exterminate us. He won't stop until not even so much as a single demon continues to exist. He is beyond obsessed with our destruction. So, no. Trying to negotiate with him would be completely pointless. He likely won't even give us the chance to so much as try to negotiate with him. I'm sorry, Charlie."
Charlie looked down at the ground in sadness. If they couldn't fight him and they couldn't negotiate with him, then what could they do? Were they just doomed? Because it was really starting to seem like it.

The Doom Slayer was still rampaging through this new Hell slaughtering and destroying everything in his path. He had already destroyed half the city and slaughtered thousands of demons. At this point there seemed to be an evacuation going on. The demons were trying to run away. He wasn't going to let them.
He charged towards the largest concentration of demons he could sense at hypersonic speeds causing a massive sonic boom that shattered windows and caused several buildings to collapse. Any demons that would have been anywhere near him at the time would have been turned to paste from the shockwave alone. He charged straight through buildings, busting through the walls with ease and splattering any demons unfortunate enough to be in his way at the time.
Arriving at his destination in a matter of moments he saw a large crowd of demons trying to flee the city. Some were on foot while others were in vehicles. Snarling in fury he pulled out the BFG, aimed slightly above and ahead of the crowd and pulled the trigger. A green sphere of energy launched from the weapon and flew over the crowd. Thousands of tendrils of Argent Energy lanced forth from the sphere and struck each and every last one of the demons. Even melting holes through the tops of the vehicles to strike the demons inside. In a matter of moments they all exploded in a storm of blood and gore. There was enough blood that the street quickly turned into what was effectively a river of the boiling crimson ichor with chunks of burnt flesh and bone floating in it like some sort of demented and vile chunky stew.
That hadn't been the only crowd he had to slay, but it had been one of the largest. It was always extremely satisfying to liquify a large number of demons all at once with the BFG. It was by far his favorite weapon next to his Super Shotgun. He would use it more often but doing so would trivialize his battles and would kill the demons too quickly. He wanted them to suffer as they died, just to give them a taste of their own medicine. After all, they didn't show that kind of mercy to their victims so why should he show them that sort of mercy?
He was about to turn to start running off in the direction of the next crowd when he heard an impressed whistle followed by slow applause. Turning in the direction of the sound he saw three demons approaching him. One had what appeared to be an old fashioned television for a head, another looked like a twisted form of a human female, and the one that was clapping was dressed in highly gaudy attire and had four arms.
The gaudy one came to a stop about twenty feet from the Doom Slayer, the other two stopped just behind him. "Daaaamn! Now that is one HELL of a gun! I like it! Anyway, this was the largest group of demons trying to get the fuck out of the city because of you so we thought we might find you here. You know, new guy, I gotta say, you've only been here for… what? A few hours? Yet you're already making quite the name for yourself! I would say I respect it, but I'll be honest I'm a bit too pissed off that you've been wrecking our territory! You see, this city belongs to us so we can't have you destroying it, now can we? Plus we just got off the phone with Lucifer. Apparently he really wants you dead. He told us to avoid you and to come to the capital to be a part of some big ass group of the most powerful demons in Hell all coming to kill your green ass, but fuck that. You see, while Lucifer may be scared of you and thinks you're too tough to handle, we think you're just some overrated wanna be. So, we're going to skin you alive and bring your severed head straight to Lucifer to prove you ain't so tough after all. The money he's offering us to kill your cosplaying ass doesn't hurt either."
The Doom Slayer glared at the demon, put his BFG away and cracked his knuckles. He was going to make sure these three's deaths were particularly painful, so he wasn't going to use any of his guns for this. They claimed that this was their territory which meant they must be quite powerful. As such, he decided that he was going to make an example of them as a message to all the rest of this Hell that he was going to kill them all and there was nothing any of them could do to stop him.
[Meanwhile]
Lucifer cursed furiously as he watched Valentino, Vox, and Velvet approach the man in green armor. He told those idiots to stay the hell away from him and to get their asses to the capital! Not only that, but that dumbass Valentino just revealed his entire plan to the green armored being! That completely threw any element of surprise out the fucking window. He wanted to flay the three of them alive for this! Though he supposed he would just have to settle for watching them be torn limb from limb by the harbinger of doom they so foolishly decided to challenge on their own.
He rubbed the sides of his head in an attempt to ease the migraine that was forming in his skull. How the fuck was he going to fix this mess?
Suddenly there was a knock on the door of his office. With a frustrated sigh he said, "Come in."
The door opened and Charlie walked inside. Seeing her safe, he relaxed slightly. "Um… I hope I'm not interrupting you… I know you're really busy right now…" Charlie said a bit uncertainly.
Lucifer shook his head and leaned back in his chair. "It's fine. I'm finished with all my calls for the moment. I was just watching the beast slaughtering his way through pentagram city while a few of the overlords I called are disobeying my orders and confronting him directly instead of coming here. The idiots are getting torn limb from limb as we speak. It's what they deserve for being so arrogant as to challenge the Beast on their own."
Hearing that news, Charlie grimaced. "O-oh… T-the "Beast" is the man in green armor, right?"
Lucifer nodded. "Yes. I know that used to be my title but I thought it only fitting to call him such. He's far more deserving of it. He's more of a beast then any being I have ever seen before, including myself."
"I see… Um… Mom said he can't be reasoned with… Is that true? Can we really not negotiate with him at all?" Charlie inquired.
Lucifer gave a short mirthless laugh. "Oh hell no! The bastard is so far beyond obsessed with the destruction of all demonkind it's fucking ridiculous! It's like slaughtering us is his sole reason for existing, period! Well, that and the defense of mankind but that's irrelevant to the situation at hand since attacking humanity in an attempt to distract him and buy us some time would only make things so much worse for us in both the long and short term. He's actually holding back a lot right now, and I mean a lot. But if we did anything to provoke him right now, I'm certain he would stop holding back. We can not afford to let that happen."
"Okay… Well… Attacking the humans shouldn't really be an option anyways… But, um… If we can't negotiate with him, what can we do? Are you planning to fight him?" Charlie asked in a very concerned tone.
Lucifer sighed and looked Charlie directly in the eyes. "Yes. I am. If I don't then all of you are going to die and he will devour your souls. I honestly couldn't care less about the rest of Hell. They can all be destroyed and have their souls eaten for all I care. More demons will show up eventually as more humans sin and are sent here, so in the end what does it really matter? No. The only ones I truly care about are you and Lillith. But the beast isn't going to just spare you and move on. Not even close. If he gets the chance he will kill you both. So I have no choice. Thus the reason I'm gathering the Overlords and the Goetia. Even if they're nothing but pissants compared to him, I'm going to need all the help I can get otherwise I would have already gone to Pentagram City to fight him already. He's really that powerful."
"But… But what if you…?" Charlie couldn't finish the sentence. She was tearing up and was on the verge of breaking out crying at the very real possibility of losing her father.
"Charlie…" Lucifer wanted to comfort her but he honestly had no idea what to say in this situation. No matter how much he wanted to, he honestly couldn't bring himself to lie to her in this situation. He wasn't sure that he could actually defeat the Beast even with the help of the Overlords and Ars Goetia. He could very well be killed, as alien as that thought was to him. And honestly the idea of being destroyed and having his soul consumed by that bastard terrified him. But what terrified him even more was the thought of the same thing happening to his family.
It was so bad that he had actually considered praying to God for help, but had immediately dismissed the idea. He and God were still on really bad terms with each other. The bastard would never help him no matter how bad of a situation he and Hell were in. Whoever claimed God was good had clearly never met him before. God was an absolute dick, he always had been and always would be. As far as Lucifer was concerned it was an immutable fact of the universe.
"…I'm going to fight him, and… If… If I lose… You and your mother are going to die along with the rest of Hell and your souls will be consumed. After that the Beast will destroy the realm of Hell itself. There will be nothing left. Not even so much as ashes, dust, or rubble. Nothing. It will be a void in reality where nothing exists and nothing can ever exist again." Lucifer stated in a very grim tone. "I'm sorry, Charlie… I wish I could say anything else, I really do, but it's the truth… There is a chance I will die because he is more than powerful enough to kill me… But there is nothing else I can do. This is my one and only option. I don't have any secret weapons or clever tricks I can use. Were he less powerful or less of a monster then maybe, but… No… My only choice is to face him head on and hope for the best."
Tears fell from Charlie's eyes and she began to cry. All of this was too much for her. She was so sad, so worried, so terrified, and so angry that she couldn't help but cry. Why? Why did this have to happen? It wasn't fair. It just wasn't fair. What had they done to deserve this? What had she done to deserve this?! Even God thought that just keeping them in Hell was punishment enough for whatever sins they had committed. Yet this man, this being, this god, this beast who had suddenly just appeared out of nowhere wanted to exterminate them, consume their souls, and destroy Hell itself just because they were demons. He wanted to kill her because of the simple fact that she had been born a demon, which was something that was completely out of her control. Even God wasn't so cruel as that.
All she had ever wanted to do was help her people. Yet now they were facing an apocalypse all because of one man. One god of death and destruction. One beast.
She just wanted him to go away to wherever he had come from and to never come back. She didn't even wish him any harm. She just wanted him to stop slaughtering her people and for him to not kill her father. If he just stopped killing everyone and didn't hurt her family, then she wouldn't even care if he didn't go back where ever he came from. All she wanted was for him to stop. As much as she was afraid of dying, she would even let him kill her and consume her soul without any resistance if that would get him to leave the rest of Hell and her family alone, though she knew it wouldn't. She just wanted everything to go back to the way it was. She would even accept the yearly exterminations, because at least the Exorcists weren't actively trying to destroy all of Hell and every last demon in it.
Seeing Charlie so distressed Lucifer got up out of his chair, walked around his desk and over to her. Then he proceeded to wrap his arms around her in a tight embrace which she returned. He wished there was something he could say to comfort her but there simply wasn't. So the two of them just stood there like that for a while until Charlie calmed down enough to stop crying, even if tears did continue to stream down her face.
[Meanwhile]
The Slayer was absolutely covered in the blood and gore of the three demons he had just killed. A steady stream of demon blood was dripping from the tip of his still extended Doomblade. Having found a few bits of pipe and rebar that were both long and strong enough, he had impaled the three demons' ruined corpses upon them and propped the three of them up in the dead center of the city by embedding the opposite ends of the pipes and rebar in the concrete and asphalt that covered the ground.
With that done he decided that he had officially worked off enough anger for the moment, though he was definitely still seeing red, and decided to just finish this. He would leave the three corpses he had just propped up in the center of the city as a warning to the rest of the demons of this version of Hell, but he was going to destroy the city itself and kill every last demon left in it.
Quite a few had already escaped and he knew it, but he didn't care. He would find them and kill them in due time.
Thus using his nigh infinite speed and strength, he proceeded to demolish the entire city and annihilate every last demon he could find. He was actually able to do this just from the shockwave created by his speed alone, but he decided to destroy everything a bit more manually. The entire process took about five minutes. He could have been faster but doing so would have destroyed the bodies he put on display in the center of the city as well.
When he was finished, all that was left was veritable mountains of rubble and flowing rivers of demonic blood. He then looked back up at the Fortress of Doom. "Opening a portal now." Vega reported, immediately getting the hint that the Doom Slayer wanted to return to the Fortress.
Moments later and a large blue portal appeared in front of him and he stepped through it. Now back on the Fortress of Doom, he began messing with the terminals in an attempt to find out just what the hell the Khan Maykr had done to send him here. His hope was that if he could figure out what she had done then he could just reverse it and use that to return home after he finished eradicating this version of Hell.
He spent the next few hours working on this with Vega and Samuel Hayden both doing their best to assist him. Unfortunately even between the three of them they were met with little to no success, much to the Slayer's continued fury.
[The Next Day]
The last two remaining Overlords and all seventy two of the Ars Goetia had gathered in the Capital, upon Lucifer's request. All of them were currently in Lucifer's castle wondering why he gathered them all here. Eventually Lucifer entered the chamber they were all located in and addressed them.
"I think I'll skip the pleasantries for today. I'm sure you have all heard of the being who destroyed Pentagram City yesterday. And even if you're somehow still out of the loop, I know for a fact that you at least heard him yesterday when he first appeared. The roar that shook all of creation from Hell, to the mortal world, and even Heaven itself. That was him. Now, before you ask, as I'm sure some of you will, no. I know very little about him. I have no idea who he is, why he's here, or how he got here. All I know is that he is just as powerful if not even more so than either me or God himself, and he despises demons. His only motives, as far as I'm aware, is our complete and utter annihilation and the destruction of the entire realm of Hell itself. He cannot be bribed, he cannot be corrupted, he cannot be bartered with, and he cannot be reasoned or negotiated with. For all intents and purposes you can consider him a natural disaster… No, better yet, consider him a God of Doom who is absolutely unreasonably hell bent on causing all of Hell its own personal apocalypse." Lucifer explained in a very grim tone.
"Pardon me for interrupting, Lord Lucifer, but… What has any of this got to do with us?" Stolas inquired.
"Good question. We obviously can't let him continue on unopposed or we are all going to die. And that includes each and every last one of you. And don't think that fleeing to the mortal realm will save any of you, he can and will hunt you down and kill you no matter where you try to run to. It is impossible for any demon to hide from him. So, I'm going to fight him and all of you are going to help me. No, this is not a request. This is an order from me as the ruler of Hell. If any of you try to run, I will kill you personally. I could kill all of you in an instant with just a snap of my fingers if I wanted and all of you know it. So your only choices are to join me and fight the Beast and have a chance at survival, or die. And don't worry, none of you are doing this for free. Those who survive will be rewarded and the families of those who die will be compensated. I may be the devil but I'm not completely unreasonable. So, do I make myself clear?"
All of them stated their agreements. As intimidated as they were by Lucifer's description of this God of Doom, they were even more afraid of Lucifer himself. So none of them were brave or crazy enough to attempt to refuse.
Suddenly a large blue portal opened up in the middle of the room and that very God of Doom stepped through, much to Lucifer's horror. He had been planning to fight this being somewhere else, somewhere far away from the Capital City and his family. But instead the God of Doom had appeared not only in the Capital City but right in the middle of his castle, where he thought his family would be safe.
He cursed to himself as he remembered the fact that Valentino, Vox, and Velvet had revealed his plan to the Beast before they were ripped to shreds. So he had known this gathering was going to happen and he must have sensed all of their power concentrated in this one location and decided that this was where they were meeting. He was a fool to have held this meeting here. He should have held it in a completely different city because by bringing the Overlords and Ars Goetia here to his castle he had inadvertently put his family in very serious danger.
[A few moments earlier]
The Slayer sensed a large collection of very powerful demons somewhere to what he had arbitrarily designated as the North. Remembering what those three demons had told him the previous day, he assumed that was where the meeting they had mentioned to him was being held. Since that was where the most powerful demons in this version of Hell would be located, he decided that would be the perfect opportunity to head there and kill them all at once. After that destroying the rest of this Hell would be easy since there would be no demons left that could put up any resistance whatsoever.
So taking the controls of the Fortress of Doom, he opened up a portal to the location he sensed the demons and flew the Fortress straight through it. Once the fortress was on the other side and was once again floating above another demonic city Vega said, "Intense demonic activity detected below. Calculating coordinates… Opening a portal now."
Drawing his Super Shotgun, the Doom Slayer entered the portal Vega had opened for him. On the other side he found himself in a large room surrounded by dozens of very powerful demons.
Without hesitation he raised his Super Shotgun and blasted one of the demons' head straight off its body, along with a large chunk of its upper body.
Suddenly a portal opened beneath him which tentacles emerged from before wrapping themselves around him and trying, and failing, to crush the life out of him. Upon seeing this happen all the rest of the demons also began their respective assaults upon him. None of their attacks even so much as scratched him. Then a massive ball of pure Hellfire slammed into him, incinerating the tentacles and sending him flying backwards with enough force that he was sent crashing through the wall of the building and ended up out on the streets surrounding the castle.
Pushing himself up off the ground he looked and saw the demons rushing through the hole in the castle wall after him. Some had sprouted wings and were flying while others were on the ground running. One in particular had sprouted wings and was far faster than the rest as it streaked towards him at hypersonic speeds.
It tried to punch him in the face but he grabbed its arm and swung it like a ragdoll into the ground, creating a massive crater in the ground. He had expected this to kill the demon but he was surprised when it shot back up off the ground and kicked him in the gut, sending him flying once again.
"You! This isn't how this was supposed to go! You weren't supposed to come here! We were supposed to fight literally anywhere but here! How fucking dare you?!" The demon growled furiously.
The Doom Slayer got up again and glared at the demon. He then put his Super Shotgun away and cracked his knuckles. Now paying a bit closer attention, the Slayer could sense that this was the most powerful demon in the area, possibly in the entirety of this version of Hell. He could tell it was at least as powerful as some of the Elder Hell Gods he had killed in the past. That meant this was actually going to be a bit of a challenge. He was still going to win of course, this just meant he didn't need to hold back as much. He still had to hold back some since he didn't want to accidentally destroy the Fortress of Doom in the middle of the fight since he needed it to return to his version of Hell, but not as much as he would otherwise.
[Meanwhile]
Charlie and Vaggie were in the dining room having lunch with Lilith when they heard what sounded like a muffled gunshot which was closely followed by loud crashing, the sounds of explosions, and the ground quaking.
"What's going on?" Charlie inquired in a worried tone.
"Hell if I know!" Vaggie exclaimed. The two of them then looked to Lilith for answers.
Lilith looked extremely worried. "…You two stay here, I'm going to go see what's going on. Hopefully it's just one of the Overlords or Ars Goetia acting up. If it's not… You two just stay here." With that Lilith got up and hurriedly rushed out of the room.
The two of them continued to sit there for a few minutes in a tense silence. About five minutes had passed and Lilith had not come back, nor had the noises ceased. In fact, if anything they seemed to be getting louder and more intense. Even the quaking of the ground was growing in intensity and frequency.
Eventually Charlie couldn't take it anymore. She got up and rushed out of the room to see what was happening.
"Charlie? What are you doing? Hey, wait!" Vaggie exclaimed as Charlie started running out of the room. Seeing that she wasn't going to stop, Vaggie stood up and chased after her. She probably should have tried to stop Charlie. To keep her from rushing out into the middle of a battlefield with the god-like being who wanted to destroy them all, just to keep her safe. However, Vaggie was also starting to get really worried and wanted to see what was happening as well. Besides, if the city was going to become a battlefield between Lucifer and the Beast, they weren't truly safe even if they did stay inside the castle. They were just as likely to die in there as they were outside where the battle was taking place. So it really didn't matter either way.
It didn't take them long to get to the ballroom where Lucifer had been holding his meeting. They found it completely empty save for some rubble, scorch marks, and a massive hole in one of the walls. Rushing through the hole in the wall they were instantly greeted with the sight of what could only be described as an apocalypse in progress.
Half the city had been effectively reduced to rubble, buildings were on fire, the ground was filled with massive craters, there were ruined demon corpses everywhere, the streets had practically become rivers of blood and gore, and the battle between Lucifer and the Beast was still raging on. Only now it appeared to be just the two of them. So Charlie and Vaggie could only assume the Overlords and Ars Goetia were either dead, dying, or too injured to continue fighting.
"What are you two doing out here?! I told you to stay inside!" Lilith shouted as soon as she spotted the two of them and rushed over to them.
Charlie looked at Lilith and said, "I-I'm sorry, mom, I just… The noises and the ground shaking… I couldn't… I had to…" She couldn't find the words. She was still too stunned by the sight of the city and the battle.
Lilith sighed and looked back out towards the carnage. "I understand… Seeing this, I doubt you would be any safer in there anyways… Just try to stay close to me. I don't want the two of you getting involved in this…"
Charlie nodded in acknowledgment before looking back out towards the battle.
[The Slayer]
The Doom Slayer had the demon pinned to the ground and was smashing his face into the ground repeatedly. Each strike had the force of a meteor strike behind it and dug a huge crater into the ground which just kept getting deeper and deeper.
This only lasted for about three hits before the demon managed to throw him off of it.
Both of them got up and faced each other. The demon was bruised and bleeding while the Slayer was no worse for wear. "What… sort of monster… are you?!" The demon demanded furiously between breaths.
The Doom Slayer said nothing. Instead he rushed forwards at hypersonic speeds and punched the demon in the gut, sending him shooting backwards towards the castle the battle had started in.
The demon spread its wings to help it regain control and stopped itself a few hundred feet away from the castle. It then conjured a massive ball of hellfire which it launched at the Slayer at hyper relativistic speeds.
The Slayer dodged the fireball and rushed towards the demon again. This time he gave it an uppercut that sent it shooting straight up into the sky, narrowly missing the Fortress of Doom. However the Doom Slayer didn't just leave it there. Instead he jumped up after the demon, grabbed the demon, and brought it into a devastating piledriver. They slammed back into the ground with the force of a military railgun, causing yet another crater.
The Slayer then dropped the demon on the ground, rolled it over onto its back with a kick, and slammed his foot into its gut, making the crater grow even deeper, and forcing the demon to spit up blood.
The Slayer stood there for a moment to see if the demon was going to try to get up again. It did not. Recognizing this as the end of the fight, the Slayer drew his Super Shotgun and leveled it at the demon.
"WAIT!" Shouted another demon. The Slayer turned his head and looked at it as it rushed over and got between him and the one he was about to kill.
[Charlie]
Seeing the Beast draw his shotgun seemingly from thin air and point it at her father, Charlie shouted, "WAIT!" And sprinted to get between the Beast and her father.
"Please… Please don't kill my dad…" She pleaded desperately.
The Beast seemed unphased by her plea and leveled his shotgun at her instead. However, right as he was about to pull the trigger Vaggie jumped and knocked Charlie out of the way only to get blasted apart herself.
Charlie was in complete and utter shock. Vaggie had just died trying to protect her.
"GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM MY DAUGHTER YOU SON OF A BITCH!" Lilith roared before throwing a ball of hellfire at the Beast.
The ball of fire splashed harmlessly across his armor yet it had managed to get his attention. He drew what looked like some sort of heavy machine gun and pointed it at Lilith with one hand. However, something cut the weapon in half rendering it effectively useless as anything but an oversized pistol.
Charlie blinked a few times as her mind processed what she was seeing before she realized it had been one of the Exorcists Heaven usually sent on extermination day to kill demons. What were they doing here and why had they just saved her mother?
The Beast looked at the ruined weapon for a moment before looking at the Exorcist who had cut it in half. His outrage was almost palpable. Though when he seemed to recognize what the Exorcist was his pure rage almost became a physical force in and of itself.
He made the broken gun disappear and grabbed the Exorcist by the throat before ripping its head clean off its body. Seeing this the other exorcists immediately began attacking him.
Using this as an opportunity Charlie scrambled over to Lucifer, wrapped one of his arms around the back of her neck and helped him to his feet. "T-thank you… Charlie…" Lucifer struggled to say.
Charlie said nothing in return. She just started walking him back towards her mother, hoping to get him to safety.
With the Beast distracted dealing with the Exorcists, Lilith rushed over to the two of them and began helping Charlie bring Lucifer back through the hole in the wall and into the castle.
End Notes: I'll be honest. This story is moving a bit faster than I initially expected it would. But that's honestly just the natural progression of events. I imagine things really would move as fast as they are here. I mean Lucifer should realize how much of a threat the Slayer is and should plan on fighting him directly. And the Slayer wouldn't just let an opportunity to kill a bunch of very powerful demons at once like that meeting pass him by. If I could have extended it a bit more I would have, but the Slayer doesn't fuck around when it comes to killing demons.
