(Yoshi POV)

'God I'm bored '. Today had felt like a pretty okay day of classes but nothing special, same old stuff like every other day... well other than Ms. Joke trying to call some guy during lunch. What was his name again? Pencilhead? Eraser something? I don't know something school supply related. It made her sound like a clingy ex girlfriend the number of times she tried calling the guy while I was eating in homeroom.

I sat at my desk with my head laid down against the wooden surface as Ms. Joke was finishing up our English lesson, just two more minutes and we are free! Everyone else is but if you're me and have to live with a certain 'someone' that makes jokes 24/7, I'll tell you it's ... interesting to say the least. The sound of the bell alerted the end of the school day and everyone was packing up their stuff to leave.

"Ok kiddies, don't forget, we have a test tomorrow and to submit any changes you need to have to your hero costumes!"

"Yes, sensei!" The students responded in unison. Just as I was getting ready to leave, sense calls my name.

"Oh Yoshi, you don't get to leave yet. I need to have a chat with ya, you goose". I groaned as a few snickers and giggles could be heard from my classmates as they leave.

"Oy what's up Joke? If this is for what I said during lunch then maybe you shouldn't try calling the guy 15 times"

I said to her, propping myself on top of another desk facing her. A noticeable small tick mark formed on her head as she laughed a bit before telling me to shush.

"Oh shut up you! He texted me back at least, but I just need to speak with you personally on how are you liking your classes so far and making sure you are getting along with all your classmates. All that schmazz and stuff cause you know.. I am your guardian" she says with putting emphasis around the word 'guardian'.

"Today's been fine, classes just boring a bit and everyone else in the class is cool. Although Mika has been talking about Deez"

"What's Deez?" Too easy.

"DEEZ NUT-" I got smacked on the head before I could finish my joke.

"And I thought some of my jokes were terrible" she said stifling back a laugh. I snickered as I rubbed my head.

"Yeah yeah but Honestly today's been slow honestly but it's still only a couple months since been back in Japan. You also don't have to put emphasis on the guardian part. If anything it feels like I'm the guardian in the situation considering I make sure you eat and sleep at the house most of the time"

I retorted and she snorted. For the time I been living with her we had formed a brother/sister type bond even though technically she was my guardian. Speaking of which wasn't the guardian supposed to be the one taking care of said person? Stuff like cooking and cleaning I could help out with but not 24 hours, 7 days a week. She claimed it's because I need to learn responsibility and know my way around the kitchen. Also because of living with her, I gained a habit of making terrible puns because of her.

"Hush young one! For that you shall doing the cooking tonight and make something with noodles!" She pointed at me.

"I'll be staying a bit at school to go over some plans with the principal and staff for the next upcoming weeks so get dinner cooking around mmmm 6ish? " she told as she handed me a couple of yen bills.

I took the cash and made my way towards the door.

"Deal but hope you like spicy food cause that's what it's gonna be tonight!" I said as I heard her complain in protest.

(Izumi POV)

The girls were being relentless. Class had ended and we were back in the dorms again now that summer break was over. Currently half the class was in the common room section of the dorm as the other half was either in their room or in the kitchen. Unfortunately for me I was in the common room with all the girls and some of the guys including Aoyoma, Kaminari, Tenya, and Sero. Mina and Toru wouldn't stop pestering me about the man who saved me from the clutches of tardiness and wanted to know more about him. We don't even know each other like that for Christ's sake!

"Come on Izumi, you gotta know more about this Yoshi guy! You seem interested in the man even though you say 'he was just helping you out'" Toru said, Mina nodding alongside her.

I sat on the couch picking up my head as it was buried in a pillow.

"It was just that though! I told you he wanted to help me out and give me a ride to school before I was late" I told them.

"Oh I know how he can help you out. I bet you can offer him a different kind of ride next time~~" Mina teased. I felt my face flush and brighten up as momo created a rolled up paper roll and bonked Mina on the head.

"Mina that was highly inappropriate to make such a remark towards a fellow classmate" lida began scolding her as he made a chopping hand motion.

"But izuchan you were holding on to his back when you arrived to school today as if you were holding onto him like it was life or death, Kero"

"That's because it was my first time riding on the back of a motorcycle. It was just so fast and I thought I would die"

"Says the girl who fought the hero killer stain, a terrorist on I-Island, and not to mention a guy with multiple quirks when we went to fill in as a temporary agency on that island trip" Kaminari added.

"Kinda agreeing with dunce face on this one, you faced life threatening situations and yet you were scared of riding on the back of a motorcycle?" Jirou said while twiddling with her jacks. I just picked my head up and rested it on the pillow I had with me.

"Why are you guys so into this? It's not like I'm going to see the guy anytime soon?" I mumbled. I then felt a hand pat my head as I looked over to see Ochaco comfort me. "But if you don't see him soon how are you gonna give your boyfriend back his jacket" Ochaco said while wiggling her eyebrows. I immediately threw my face down into the pillow again and screamed into it before looking at Ochaco with a betrayed look.

"Not you too Ochaco!" I whined as she giggled a bit. "I'm sorry Deku, it was just too funny not to join in"

"Still I think it's manly of the guy to help you out this morning and give you a ride" kirishima said.

"You could've at least given the man your number before you left as a thank you" Toru said. Before I could complain more Tenya stood up as he looked up at his watch.

"As much as it is fun to tease midoriya about today, we still need to get groceries and supplies for the week as our fridge is empty now that we are back in the dorms. We need five people to go out on a grocery run so would anyone like to volunteer?" He stated as we all looked at each other.

"I'll go" Momo said

"Count me in, I need to pick up some snacks and new magazines" Mina joined in.

"I'll go Iida" I joined in as well.

"I got you class rep" Kirishima said.

"I got nothing better to do so I'll go" Sero chimed in.

"Then it's settled! Yaoyorozu, Ashido, midoriya, kirishima, and Sero shall be going out for groceries!" Iida announced as the five of the people whose names were called got up and prepared to leave the dorm.

"Here's the list of items we need for the dorm" Iida handed us a small paper list of items ranging from food items such as eggs and vegetables to things like laundry detergent and paper.

The five then proceeded to leave the dorm as we waved the others goodbye before shutting the door behind us. As we left I felt Mina put her arm around me as we walked.

"So Izuchan hoping you meet the man who's captured your heart soon?" She teased. I groaned internally hoping she can stop with the teasing.

"Please Mina, he goes to a different school and it's most we won't meet again soon" I told her as we walked down towards the front gate.

"Maybe we'll see him today while we are out shopping. Who knows?"

"Yeah... maybe" I mumbled. It's not like he's going out shopping for groceries at the same time we are... right?
