In the library Remilia visit Patchouli.
"Sakuya's father?" Patchouli looks up from her book, "How should I know anything about that?"
"Well I didn't even know she had a father. Maybe a mom."
"Why not simply ask Sakuya herself?"
"Whenever I try another glass breaks. "
Another glass breaks in the other room.
Patchouli starts reading again, "Then wait for him to arrive. A meager human can't be of too much interest."
"Hmm...", Remi leaves in thought.
Immediately after she leaves Flan runs in holding a book she shoves into Patchouli's face.
Patchouli asks, "What's this."
"A book."
"Very good.", She goes back to her own book which Flan pulls down.
"Hold on. Sakuya dropped it on her way in."
"Wouldn't the natural thing be to return it to her."
"But I want to read it."
"Very good." She goes back to her own book which Flan pulls down... Again.
"I want to read it... using your eye's and hear it with your words."
Patchouli takes a look at it.
"JoJo's Bizarre Adventure"
"Sorry I don't read picture books."
Flan turns her wings down and takes a few steps out before calling, "Hey Marisa! You can come out from behind that bookcase! Lets play Danmaku!"
Marisa steps out scratching her head, "Haha you got me."
"So come on lets play."
Magic conjures around Flan.
"Wait just a moment!" Patchouli stands up, "You'll burn the library down."
Flan just smiles looking at Marisa who grabs onto her broom, "This is just level 4 stage right? I wasn't expecting to fight an EX here."
Patchouli sees the twinkling light of excitement in Flan's eyes, "Not good she won't listen to reason anymore. I'll have to-"
"Ah Flan-chan~" Koa swoops in. "I'll read the story for you.",
"You will!" Flan says excitedly, "Ah but I told Marisa we'd play Danmaku..."
"Don't worry about it." Marisa sweats.
Koa leads her, "Now lets find a good place to read."
"Okay!"

"Sissssterrrrrr!", Flan runs to Remilia yelling in a panic.
"That's too much noise for this time of day, what is it?"
"Look here, I know who Sakuya's dad is, and he's a scary guy."
Flan shows her the Bizarre book and Remilia says , "That's just a comic book, it's not real."
"But look at his powers, they're just like Sakuya's, and he has knives too. Sakuya was carrying it around."
"Mhm... that still could just be coincidence."
"Oh he's also a vampire!"
This perks Remilia's attention, "If that really was Sakuya's dad in that book, then it'd explain how she's able to live with us so easily. The idea sounded ridiculous at first, but if this guy really is incredible it'd make sense they'd write a legend about him."
"What do we do?"
"Well the first thing is clearly to figure out why Sakuya would want to bring such an unhinged person over. But I must say this is a surprise. I've never seen you scared of someone before."
"I'm not scared oh him... I'm worried about something else."
"What?"
"Ask Patchouli she'll tell you!", Flan fly's away.
" Well I did have more questions for her anyway."
She heads to the library, while Koa tales Sakuya ,from a distance, on her way to the front door, "I feel a bit naughty doing this, but I'll have to play the voyeur on Sakuya for a while to figure our what's really going on."
They go outside just as Cirno returns boasting at the gate, "Haha the quiet warrior trick won't work on me again. I only fall for the same trick 9 times!"
Leaning on her hands, Meiling says, "Just go around I don't care."
"Then I will! Your tricks won't stop me."
She flies past and Daiyousei quickly follows her, "Cirno-chan wait!"
Behind the gate guard there's loud banging sounds then a puddle of ice water flows past her feet.
Daiyousei fly's back slumped over, "Back to the lake then."
"Looks like you missed one." Sakuya says, "I have errands, so keep looking good until I come back."
Koa catches up to Sakuya in the forest and says, "I was too far to hear what she said to Meiling but her cheeks are all red. Is she nervous about who she's about to meet?"
Meiling just sighs alone at the gate looking at the puddle, "Yup I didn't make any difference at all."
