When they opened their eyes, a blinding darkness filled them.

"Agh! Wh-where are we!?" Alya stuttered.

"A-alya? Hold on, I'm trying to break free of these rope" Marinette struggled.

"Nino? Nino! Adrien?" Alya gasped. "Are you okay? Where are you?"

"We're… here" Adrien grunted weakly.

"Yep. M'alive. But not for long, unless we break free."

"Phew. Well, one thing's troubling me… why did that player call us ladybug, cat not and Rena rouge? I mean, I know that I am Rena Rouge… my identity was revealed after the whole…. Chloe incident. Same with Nino. But why did she say Ladybug and Cat noir?"

"N-n-NOOO idea" Marinette said quickly, exchanging a worried glance to Tikki in her bag.

Adrien whipped out some cheese.

"Plagg, do you think that Marinette is ladybug?" Adrien whispered.

"WHAT. NAHHHHHH." He chuckled quickly. "of COURSE not! HAH!"

Everyone turned towards Adrien.

"Who was that?" Marinette narrowed her eyes.

"Oh, uh, I'm not sure. Maybe we're not alone" Adrien dismissed nervously.

"Hm…." Marinette wondered, putting her mouth into the bag. "Tikki? D'ya think… Adrien…. Cat noir? Ad- No. Ca- Can't be! Adrien is… um….is cat noir Adrien?"

"NO WAYYYYY!" Tikki shouted. "OBVOUSLY NOT! HAH! NOPE! NOT AT ALL!"

Everyone turned towards Marinette.

"Uh, what Adrien said! W-w-we're not alone! I- I don't know who said that!"

Marinette and Adrien looked at each other simultaneously, but quickly looked away.

Marinette knew she needed to transform.

"We've got to find a way to escape. I have a plan. Give me that torch, Nino. And switch it off"

Nino did as Marinette said. She was only doing it so that the others couldn't see her transform.

The darkness filled the room again.

Marinette dropped her bag on the floor and quietly transformed into ladybug. She had dropped her bag so the others might think she was dragged away by someone, explaining her absence.

Ladybug broke free of the rope holding her to the chair and announced her presence.

"Hello, everyone. It is ladybug. I received a call from someone in this place saying that they saw you guys in trouble, and uh, yeah. I got here in a very normal, unsuspicious way that you shouldn't be worried about because um um um um um y'know, I don't know you guys and um basically yeah I got here don't; ask how I travelled a few miles and um yeah y'know I wasn't originally here." She stuttered lamely.

"Um, okay ladybug." Nino and Alya grinned.

They heard footsteps from above. "Oh no" They all thought. It must be the creepy player. Ladybug knew that they had to escape before she got down here.

"Marinette? Where's Marinette?" Alya shook ladybug frantically.

"Mari- whoinette?" Ladybug pretended to be bemused.

"Marinette. Our friend."

"Uh… not sure. What's this- this bag here? And this shoe?"

The three examined it in the torchlight.

"THAT'S MARINETTE'S!"

"She must be in trouble."

"Oh no!"

"I'll save her." Ladybug smiled, untying the ropes holding everyone to their chairs.

Ladybug then stared at Nino and Alya simultaneously, winking at them.

They transformed.

The footsteps were getting closer.

"Mirage!" Rena Rouge made a mirage of Nino, herself and Marinette all tied to their chairs just how they were.

The player entered the room.

"Why hello, ladybug. Cat Noir. Rena Rouge. Carapace" the player grinned. They could make out a figure behind her. A… A child?

"Ohmigosh." A taunting voice wandered. "If it isn't the bug, cat, fox and turtle. Lame-os!" Chloe scoffed slyly.

They (or the illusions of them, more like) stared silently at Chloe and the new player.

"Oh yeah. Sos. Forgot to introduce myself. I am EnNen64. This is Chloe. I'm sure you remember me."

"Yeah, WE SAW YOU FIVE MINUTES AGO" Nino's illusion scoffed.

She growled. "Well, all of you are going to give me your miraculous . Now. Hurry up! Chop chop! Don't keep Enny Nenny waiting! Or face the consequences, Ai'guess."

EnNen64 banged her fists against the wooden slab block, her face pink with rage. "GIVE IT TO ME NOW!"

"Nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnneeeeeeeeeeevvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!" they screamed.

"Oh, you will pay f'dis. Whatever. Y'gonna gimme yer miraculous, weda y'like it or not. Initiate torture device one… the poison." She threw a potion of poison at the illusions. The illusions dissolved into nothingness at once.

"UUUUUUUUURRRRRGHHHHHHH!" she screamed. She spotted the real them, and threw her second bottle at Carapace.

"I need food! Dizzy- hallucinations- urgh" he murmured weakly.

"HEY! STOP!" Alya roared. "LET US GO!"

"Give me your miraculous first, that's what! miraculous already! Fine, if you're not, I'll put y'all into these escape rooms. Survive or die. I'm indifferent either way, I just like seeing people react under pressurised situations, HAH, g'bye!" she pressed a lever and instantly the four friends fell into separate rooms.
