2. Prologue 2

The traitors delimma

Thanks to all those who have followed my story. I wanted your opinion if you want short chapters and regular updates or long chapters and occasional updates .

Peter's limbs ached from the familiar pain of the cruciates curse,which he has been subjected to by his master. Now as he sat down in the room with its painted walls and the comfortable lounge chairs with little Harry in his arms he could pretend that everything was just the same it had been before ,however the death mark

on his arm told an entirely different story. He cursed himself not for the first time on how foolish he had been on being lured by promises of a better future and had associated himself with the death eaters or perhaps the knight of wulgapris as they were then known. His memory took him to the golden old days of the marauders,how he wished he could go back to being a child, where his biggest worry was planning the next prank or his marks in his latest examination.

He remembered how he had felt so insecure in the end of their seventh year when James and Lily had started dating and Sirius was trying to court the beautiful witch Maralene Mickinnon ,and how he would be stuck with the werewolf for long periods of time ,how scared he had felt that some way the monster inside the kind and studious nerd would take charge and sherd him to peices .He remembered feeling left out and so sorry for himself.It had all worked fine in fact wonderful when Avery had given him the offer of joining the ranks of one Lord Voldemort or the Dark Lord as he used to refer to him, just as an option if his friend abandoned him,and how he had lached onto the tiniest hope as an escape failing to realize at that time that he was just burying himself into another trap in which this time there was no escape .

The Dark lord was rather skeptical at first for Peter was a mediocre wizard .Oh but he did have his uses he was the only death-eater in training who was allowed into the Order of the Phoenix before graduation so that where his role came in he would relay information that Dumbledore told the young members of the order to the dark lord. His animagus form certainly helped matters ,he would sneak into places as a rat and spy. Yes he was a spy .And no one suspected him ,he had made sure of that ,putting the blame on poor Moony and of course conveying his 'suspicion ' that he had gone dark.

And the dark lord has seen his use ,the day he was marked was one of his most proud days ...then was the first time someone has given him respect for something he has done and his heart has swelled with pride.He had seen something which he never thought was possible the respect in the eyes of people on seeing him branded .He was forbidden from going to raid since it would have been a problem of he was caught .However he had been assured that he was more important then the other fools just because he could give the dark lord something that no one else can information on Dumbledore and his movements against his master.

All had been going fine ,Peter felt he was on the winning side and that was fine by him .He had not felt remorse; then. But his friends had to ruin it all they had apologized f*ing apologized for neglecting him and that werewolf and then all those memories the good old days had came clashing back to him like the waves in the ocean and then the snake tattoo on his arm had felt more like a burden then anything else than also he had pretended that everything was okay but in his mind he was regretting it all .

Still he was too much of a coward to defy the dark lord when he was already in too deep ,so he did what he could acted as a spy for the dark relaying every information except the one that could potentially harm his friends. He lived in constant fear of his life but how could chose a side when it divided in between the person who could give him life or the one who made it worth living. It almost became a shedule for him till the prophecy,till the bloody prophecy.
