Chapter Two - The Start

Two weeks have passed since their arrival to Tortus and things at first have not been much easy going for them. Frisk pinched the bridge of his nose as they were in the town of Howard and he knew he should be gathering more information about their objective. Tomorrow they'd be heading down into the Orcus labyrinth for training, honestly to him the wild was the safest bet. Rubbing his temples he remembered how their teacher was when she remembered they wanted them to fight in the war. He could perfectly remember the entire ordeal and he couldn't believe he was reminded of the power he possessed that came from that nightmare, but most of it came from the Dark Kingdom. Going back those two.weeks he knew things had just started for everyone getting lost in that memory as it was only just yesterday.

After everyone believed they were in another world Aiko stood in front of everyone of the class and yelled at the priest: "No! You can not send these kids to fight in a war! I, Aiko Hatayama won't let you. Even if it is the will of your god!"

Frisk groaned and said: "Teach we have no fucking cjoice if we wanna get back to our families we have to play ball."

Ishtar smiled and said: "Nice to see you are not against it young man. As being chosen by Ehit-sama is a great honour."

Coming up was the top four as Kouki said: "Aiko-sensei. We are with Najime on this, we are thinking of fighting for this world. We want to save it from it's destruction. After all, there must be a meaning to why we were summoned here."

Ryou smirked and said: "If that is how it is? Then I guess I can cut loose."

Shizuku had an eye open and said: "We can't go back anyway right now. I don't like this, but we have to."

Kaori looked nervous and said: "If Shiziku-chan and Majime-kun are doing this, then so am I."

One by one everyone joined those who decided rk act and Aiko looked around frantically seeing her students wanting the decision to become child soldiers. Kouki looked at Frisk and said: "Hajime… you surprised everyone including me… you hiding something aren't you."

Frisk smiled and turned away, putting his hands in his pockets and said: "Let's just say this won't be my first rodeo in saving a Kingdom."

The next day everyone was in their gym attire as somehow all their school belongings had been transported as well. As standing before them was their combat teacher Meld. He smiled and said: "Mighty heroes I thank you for your cooperation. I am the Commander of King Hairihi's knights Meld Origins! But now let's all cut to the chase. Seconds ago you each have been given a "status plate" as the name implies it will record your status in numerical form. It can also be used as an identification card, so do not lose it. In order to discover your status draw a small drop of blood and press it down as the plates will register you as the owner of it.

Hajime did as instructed and waited for a few minutes but his eyes widened in fear seeing it. Frisk looked at his stats and his eyes widened in horror seeing what they were. He trembled and shook violently and biting his lip he drew blood as it said: "Strength 72, Vitality 198, Defense 40, Agility 56 and Magic and Magic Defense both 76."

But his job class flashed from Dark Hero to Synergist before stopping on Synergist/Cannoneer. Remembering the job class from final fantasy he'd figured he could work without till he could craft firearms then it was game over since his secondary class shown was tied to Gunner. But his eye twitched violently as he looked around and saw everyone elses and noticed that they were all varied in several areas but Kouki was the one with a pure one hundreds across. Checking his skills he had Transmutation, Language Comprehension, Telekinesis, Bone Manipulation, Teleportation and Extrasensory. Frisk sputtered seeing his skills and smirked darkly soon they all heard Meld say: "Now please, don't not ask us how these work. These plates are an artifact from ancient times. The only time when Gods still walked among Tortus. As you can see written on the plates…" Friek drowned him out knowing that the rest of his speech would be that of a video game tutorial.

Soon enough Kouki shouted out about his one hundred across the board and Meld walked over checking it and said: "Hmm… a solid 100 in all the stats. As expected of the Hero."

Yawning tiredly Frisk delt his plate snatxhed and saw it was the jackass of the class who said: "Hey, Minagumo, I wanna see yours."

Daisuke Hiyama, the class jackass and douchebag whose soul was pitch black and could not be saved. Daisuke had shoulder length brown hair and piercing brown eyes. Daisuke froze seeing that his target of his bullying was stronger than him and he grabbed Frisk by the shirt and held him up and said: "What the fuck is this! Strength 72, Vitality 198, Defense 40, Agility 56 and Magic and Magic Defense both 76! You're a fucking nerd, how can you be…" before he could speak more Frisk wrapped his legs around the arm and threw Daisuke to the ground shocking everyone and had him in an armbar while pulling on the arm to dislocate it.

Meld then said: "Okay, that's enough!"

Frisk released the bully as Kouki looked at the down plate and back at Frisk and said: "So you are holding back then. Shizuku did say she had seen you practicing in the martial arts and kendo room. Meld-san, what is a synergist?"

Meld then said: "It is primarily a crafting class, but seeing as he has the secondary job called Cannoneer which I am unfamiliar with."

Frisk sighs and says: "Basically meaning I am like a privateer aka a Pirate."

Meld nodded and smirked, sure Pirates were uncommon to deal with, they were difficult to handle while out in sea as they had gained a skill to make them wind and water resistance.. Frisk ignored the rest of the class as he was the fifth strongest person behind Kaori who Strength was 32, Vitality was 89, Defense was 40, Agility was 25 and both Magic and Magic defense were 100. Shizuku who was trained at swordsmanship since she was young had high offensive stats as she was 65 on Strength. 56 of defense, 52 on Vitality, 90 on Agility and 28 on both Magic and Magic defense. Ryuo was the one with the second highest physical skill but lacked magic and agility.

Frisk was well rounded but could survive the longest and had two jobs making him crafty and versatile. Ryuo strength was 88, his defense was 88, his vitality was 68, agility was 45 and botb his magic stats were 18 making him a brawler. But soon everyone noticed that their very own teacher had the worst stats but had her job class as a farmer and she could help villages and teach them about agriculturialing. Days went by and training began as Frisk stuck to using twin daggers using them reverse grip and used them like he had once used a knife back then… every time be helds one the image of his friends dying and bleeding out plagues his mind. Frisk yawned as it had been four days and everyone had basic grasp of combat, well all accept him as he was an extremely fast learner and began crafting weapons and crafted rings that could hold more space than a backpack. But supplement items take up more space than other items despite size, it must have been because of the nutrients.

Soon enough they had arrived at Horaud Town and began slowly chipping away at the Great Orcus Labyrinth. Now they would delve even deeper than anyone has ever gotten in the last hundred years. Frisk knew the party was way too large and hardly anyone was gaining experience, he brought this to Melds attention and even he agreed that something had to be done about this. Normal training could only go so far right now. Stretching as he plopped onto his bed he heard knocking and cracked an eye open toward the door and thought: 'Who would be knocking on my door at this hour?'

Soon he heard the kind and gentle voice of Shirasaki at his door as she said: "Hajime-kun, it's Kaori. Can I come in?"

Sitting up he lightened up the lantern and said: "Sure, come in."

Soon in came Kaori, he sputtered in shock. She wore an almost non-see through pink night dress and it was under her jacket she wore to school a long sleeve violet jacket. Due to his experience and job class he could make out what her underwear is, and honestly saw her choice as she was a closet pervert as she wore light blue crotchless panties and no bra as he could make out her breast. She looked nervous and he said: "What is it Kaori-chan."

She blushed at this and looked nervous. While her best friend advised against going after him, Kaori ignored her and decided to try. She said: "Sorry for bothering you at this hour. I… I wanted to talk to you about something."

Patting next to him she motioned to take a seat. He went to his warm tea pot and poured some tea. Thankfully he knew how to brew and make tea and he offered her a cup as he sat in his chair and almost noticed her crotch if he wasn't focused on her eyes. Sipping his tea he asked: "So what do you want to talk about tomorrow."

She looked nervous and said: "It's about combat practice tomorrow… I know every time we trained and fought you've shown discomfort and when everyone called the monsters in the Labyrinth monsters… you called them a beast and you looked angry. And you always charged head first and can easily handle yourself. Hajime-kun, I want you… no can you please stay in town tomorrow."

Frisk hair shadowed his eyes and he asked coldly, making her flinch: "Why?"

She whimpered and said: "I… I had a dream… no more like a nightmare. You kept on fighting and going further and further away as I kept calling out to you, you vanished and all around me were bodies. And I noticed in the center was your body and over it was a human but his eyes and mouth leaked black ooze. I got so scared I couldn't sleep and I kept on hearing its evil laugh right at the time in mid morning."

Frisk then asked: "Was it's clothes inverted and have you seen a black heart showing?"

She nodded and Frisk trembled a bit and said: "Could be just you worried about me. Kaori it was only a dream, as long as you can see me here and tomorrow you can tell that I am not going anywhere."

She trembled and he smiled before grasping her hands and said: "Heu, Commander Meld will be with us tomorrow. Plus we are members of the strongest so we can't be beat that easily. And it's our enemies that should be worried."

Taking her drink he set it aside as she still looked afraid. Frisk frowned and knew what she saw, he looked at his room's mirror and saw the exact same thing who was laughing like an evil villain and it said in a mix voice of several children: "Ah, what's the matter Frisky… we just wanted to play."

He looked away and said: "Kaori…" She looked out his window and went over a week after he had arrived in Japan and how he stood up for a pair of mothers and their children as one pair were monsters as thugs were harassing them about spilt juice and he stood up to them despite the indifference in strength. Smiling softly she said: "You were amazing back then. You were brave and noble. It is always easy for strong people to solve their problems by beating them down, but for you, you always fight against the odds and prevail."

Frisk chuckled and she then said sadly: "Back then, at the time I was really scared too. I am not strong myself, so I always had to ask for help from someone else. But, everybody else, every human back home ignored them and no one seemed to care and yet when they tried to stab you, you fought back. That's why I was always so happy to see you during highschool, you still always stood up for the weak and helped them. Ever since that day you have always been the strongest person at heart."

Smiling softly he said: "Thanks Kaori, but you do not need to worry about me. I am stronger than you think, plus as long as I have you and everyone else backing me up, then I will not fall. How about this, for now we watch each other back and if one of us is ever in trouble we will always be there for each other. So as long as we are a team this promise shall stand."

She nodded her head and smiled brightly and said: "Okay, it's a promise."

The next day the party and a small band of knights gathered outside the Labyrinth with Hajime garbed like a pirate. At his hips were a pair of daggers called Mage Mashers; they are green-gray handles with gold lines running around it, and a slightly jagged curved purple blade. Swirl markings run along the middle of the blade's length as the blade is longer than the handle and has tassels. The markings and the edges of the blade are a lighter shade than the rest. As everyone began entering the Labyrinth Frisk stopped and whipped around as his eye transformed like Sans and scanned the area, they were being watched and followed and he did not like it. Soon floor by floor the Hero party had been clearing them with the mage party providing range support and the rogue party scouting ahead and finding any traps for collecting materials.

The demon stones have many common purposes as it could replenish mana and minor injuries as well be sold for some money. Meld wanted everyone to take turns fighting monsters as he pointed out attacking in a large group is useless but as a singular unit isn't. Meld was even more shocked that Hajime used transmute on a dog beast called Delose and had caused blood to erupt and destroyed its limbs before cutting its throat. Meld was stunned and didn't think that a Synergist was useful in close combat, but seeing the odd one prove him wrong again was something. As the party kept on delving further down and down into the labyrinth everyone grew stronger with each floor passing till they had reached the twentieth floor their supposed designation for the day. But soon enough a pack of gorilla monsters called Rockmounts who all banged their chest and charged from their hidden positions.

But they were all stopped mid-flight by Frisk who used telekinesis and Ryou and the girls each hit one of them before the golden boy ended them with Heavenly Swing. The class cheered in excitement as one said: "Awesome, I can't believe how easily they defeated those twentieth floor monsters."

A female student said while gushing: "That's what you'd be expecting for Kouki-kun."

Sighing Frisk touched the wall and began using Transmute and shifted the earth as the ceiling had almost begun caving in and he said: "Oi dumbass, next time don't swing so widely. You almost caused a cave in and we are running out of supplies!"

Meld walked over and said: "He is correct Kouki… sure that was cool and flash."

Kouki was bonked on the head and he pointed to the shitting ceiling as rubble was showing signs of falling and he continued saying: "But do take into account the use of powerful wide range skills in narrow passageways."

He nodded and said solemnly: "I'm sorry…" once the ceiling was secured, Frisk groaned feeling the effect of fatigued getting to him.

Plopping down onto a rock he leaned back and noticed everyone else was getting comfortable and began eating some provisions. Crossing his arms he leaned back and decided to catch a few zees before continuing onward. But soon his eye snapped open showing his magic eye and saw black ominous cloud figure in the darkness. Reaching for his daggers till his eye showed its level and looked on in horror seeing the high level and noticed one of his classmates climbing for a gem commonly worn by nobles and he saw an aura around it and he shouted: "NO DON'T!"

Just as Daisuke touched it everyone teleported off the twentieth floor and onto the sixty-fifth floor, the floor the last adventurers made it to. But they found themselves on a narrow stone bridge and Frisk said: "Fucking damn it, dumbass. We are in a labyrinth. Anything worth valueable is boobytrap dumbass.

Daisike would've countered till across from everyone rose a behemoth who let out a bloody monstrous roar. But before anyone could react behind everyone was a swarm of skeletons that appeared and Frisk said: "Shit it's a pincer attack and an ambush!"

A knight told everyone that they were Trauma Soldiers from the thirty-eighth floor and everyone combined might they would win. Frisk grabbed Meld's shoulder and Kouki and he said: "Listen and listen fast, we have no time or room to argue. Kouki I need you to assist everyone with the undead."

Kouki said: "But?"

Frisk turned and said harshly: "No listen… the behemoth is far higher than any of us, we are hardly scratching past sixteen and if we are on the sixty-fifth floor then that thing would one shot kill everyone. Your skills are best suited against the swarm, Meld with my transmute I can weaken the center of the bridge causing it to collapse but I will need time."

Meld was hesitant but a sound strategy, he had faith in the buccaneer of the crew. Meld charged and slashed at the beast who blocked it with his horn. Frisk dropped to his knees and began focusing everything on the bridge. Behind him a battle raged as his classmates fought for their very lives and armour was being destroyed and weapons started to chip and break, but Kouki and the mages formed a large opening while the brutes finished off the stragglers. Meld bobbed and weaved but was thrown back to everyone with his armour cracked and damaged that needed immediate repair. Soon the behemoth roared and charged at everyone and Meld called for Frisk to retreat and then a haywired spell had blasted him and the bridge causing it to collapse dropping them both down into the deep abyss.

Falling down into the depths of darkness Frisk eyes widened as he looked to see the Behemoth coming at him. Gliding toward the beast he repeatedly kept on stabbing it in the eye before slitting its throat till they crashed onto a floor. A dust cloud kicked up the cavern floor and Frisk cried out as he landed on his left arm which had ended up being broken. Grunting in pain Frisk leaned himself against the fresh corpse and flinched as he felt his arm was completely out of socket, being stabbed multiple times and vaporized had built him a high pain tolerance. Looking back up he couldn't see no light or hear anyone else, and so here he was again down in the Underground. Growling 0ainfully he said: "At least I am alive."

Holding his head a snarled form as he remembered it, the face of Daisuke who grinned seeing him blasted and everyone else except Kaori and Meld showed pure utter concern for him. He gave a beastly battle cry and pushed himself off the ground and trudge onward wielding one lone dagger. But rounding a corner was a rabbit, this rabbit was the size of a horse with buff hind legs and blood red eyes similar to a toad who lunged and as he dodged it he felt his cheek get cut and he thought: 'No way. This thing is too fast. Don't tell me it is strong as the behemoth.'

But as the rabbit lunged a giant bear claw the size of him seatted it upward and a bear maw slapped down on it's upper torso snapping it in two. Standing before him was a massive albino bear with a black face with saber tiger teeth who roared as its claws glowed green and slashed in his direction and he felt off balance immediately. He turned slowly and screamed out in horror and pain as his left arm was severed completely leaving behind a bleeding stump.

OVA 2

As for Frisk's friends and family stood shocked and in horror as Toriel passed out and fainted hearing that her baby was nearly killed and mortally wounded. Most of them were horrified as Papyrus dropped the book. Undyne held her head in turmoil and couldn't believe what had transpired, and how he had to survive. Asgore was holding his ex-wife close and fanning her as Chara covered her mouth in horror and Asriel clenched his fist as a tear fell and Sans had his hood up shielding his eyes. He looked up and said: "Damn kid, these… things are not like us… they are mindless beasts."

Every monster in the room nodded their heads as Chara held Asriel close and Papyrus said: "Poor Frisk, to be betrayed. By his own friends/classmates and to suffer."

MK shuddered and said: "He had no choice but for his body to remain looking human but…" then Alphys said: "Genetically becoming a hybrid like a Witcher. Thankfully he isn't a full Witcher though so he can still have kids."

Everyone nodded and Mettaton said: "But to lose a limb and an eye and… how can he have Sans and Papyrus abilities."

Said bros whistled and everyone gave him a hard glare before Sans said: "Okay… so the kid can actually do what we do, he can even use the shortcut… but we hadn't perfected it yet."

Papyrus nodded and said: "Indeed, while sparring he summoned a blaster in mid fight and even used telekinesis… I guess we taught him too well brother."

Sans nodded and said: "You're right Paps… at least those skills kept him alive… but to gain the powers of the beast he devours… that is sickening."

Toriel who awoke began to cry and Asgore picked her up and looked at everyone else and said: "We shall continue when we have free time or when some of us don't have anything to do and we can catch everyone else up."

Everyone nodded as the book was closed Papyrus, Sans, Undyne and Alphys walked out togethe4 and Paps said: "Too think Frisk is capable of this?"

Sans looked at his brother and said: "We've all known Paps and he is repaying his sins despite our forgiveness and he should forgive himself."

Undyne then said: "It isn't easy guys… he is determined to not make those mistakes again. We all know how dangerous he can be when determined."

Sans rubbed his chest as memories of him dying flashed. Sighing he said: "At least he is no longer alone… but a Vampire… even back then before they were not a dying race, Vampires we never trusted."

Alphys then said: "But she is different. Both found each other… although why did the book have blackened pages?"

Undyne smirked and said: "Most likely something private happened and that is why it is said that he worked holding her closely like after we did every night."

Alphys turned scarlet red as both bros looked extremely uncomfortable. They knew not everyone would want to come back for a while as the holidays would be busy, but Sans would definitely always find out more. The Player smirked seeing this action and knew that other books had been sent to a few other timelines where he had been thrown into other Isekai situations but with the timelines being different from one another, things would be interesting.

[A/N] To anyone who thinks that this is rushed. It is not, I am following the storyline at this point and throwing my own twists into it. Remember the beginning showed what had happened and they went on ahead till he and Yue completed the hundredth floor so don't judge. As for the Isekai Quartet it would be OVAs meaning that it is like specials and hardly has any face value like these. Anyway see you all next time. Also I may do a Undertale x Miraculous x MLP for my cousin as she is in the hospital and likes my stories and she loves the two shows.
