Bakugou paced around his room staring at his bed. He was tired, and he hadn't slept last night either so it was starting to get to him. The dreams weren't stopping and he had no intention to run into that green haired freak every damn day. Bakugou sighed. To hell with it he's too tired for this.

Bakugou clambered into his large bed and promptly fell asleep.

Like hell he'd be scared of a toddler.

...

Bakugou stood in a park. It was a relic from his past. Deku and him used to play there all the time, but it's been long forgotten by both. Bakugou took a quick glance around and walked over to the swing set. He stood there for a moment until he felt a small hand tug at the bottom of his shirt.

"Do you remember, Kacchan?" Bakugou looked down. It was the same person as always.

"What the hell do you want, brat?!" Bakugou growled. He had had enough of these shitty dreams.

Deku peered up at Bakugou, "It's not about me, Kacchan!" Deku smiled brightly, "It's about you!" Deku grabbed Bakugou's hand and dragged him over towards a clearing filled with flowers.

"Have you ever read The Catcher in the Rye, Kacchan?" Deku glanced up at Bakugou with curious eyes.

"Yeah." Bakugou looked at the small figure in confusion. 'Why would a little kid read that?'

"You remember how the main character said he'd catch all the kids who played in the rye by the cliff?" Deku sat down in the flowers pulling Bakugou down with him. "Would you do that, Kacchan?"

"Do what?" Bakugou grunted not taking Deku seriously at this point.

"Would you catch me?" Deku glanced down at his hands when he said that.

"Yeah, I'm a hero." Bakugou said not putting much thought into Deku's words. Bakugou laid back into the flowers and closed his eyes. He could feel the wind and the grass against his exposed skin. He could smell the flowers and dirt all around him. Everything felt so real despite it being a dream.

"You're lying." Bakugou heard bit of venom in Deku's voice this time. He opened one of his eyes lazily to see an unusual expression on Deku's face.

Anger.

"No, I'm not!" Bakugou sat up on the palms of his hands. Deku continued shaking his head, annoying Bakugou more. "Look brat, I promise that I won't let you fall off any cliffs." Bakugou stated somewhat sarcastically.

Deku glanced at Bakugou with a dark face.
"But you already did, Kacchan."

Bakugou froze a little at Deku's mood, but pushed onward despite that, "I'm serious, brat." He grunted.

"No, you're not." Deku continued with the same expression, but this time there seemed to be hint of sadness. "You haven't changed at all." Deku opened his hand revealing a pile of burnt pink petals. "You're the same as when you were little, Kacchan."

Bakugou glared at Deku. "How the hell would you know that?!" He shouted angrily.

"You're a hero in training right, Kacchan?" Deku ignored Bakugou's question and kept talking. Bakugou was annoyed by the action, but let it go this time, "Yeah, I am." He said through clenched teeth.

Deku locked eyes with Bakugou. His eyes were dark and cold compared to the rest of his childlike demeanor, "How're you going to catch other people when you couldn't even catch me?" He whispered sending a chill down Bakugou's spine.

Bakugou stared back into Deku's eyes a bit confused as to what he was trying to say when he caught sight of the petals again and remembered the correlation.

Stain's capture. Attack on Hosu. Deku is Stain's kid.

"I didn't cause that." Bakugou whispered.

Deku glared at Bakugou. "But you did." Deku stood up and closed the distance between him and Bakugou.

"You caused this, Kacchan." Deku whispered into Bakugou's ear and pushed him hard on his chest. Bakugou began falling backwards; he reached behind him to feel nothing but air and his stomach lurched as he plummeted downwards.

Bakugou woke up panting. His stomach was still doing somersault and his hands were trembling ever so slightly. Bakugou took a deep breath and calmed down a bit. He opened his eyes to be greeted with a familiar room. His gaze drifted a bit until he saw a dark outline at the foot of his bed.

Whatever it was, it was small around a child's height. Bakugou turned on the bedside lamp. Deku gazed up at him.

A cold sweat formed on Bakugou's brow. Bakugou pinched himself and rubbed his eyes a few times.

"I'm not going away, Kacchan." Deku said in a sad voice. "I thought you'd be happy to see me." He gave a weak smile.

"Like hell I'd be happy to see you." Bakugou sneered through gritted teeth trying his best not to yell at 2:00 am.

Deku mounted Bakugou's bed and walked unevenly on the sheets towards Bakugou. "I forgot to give you something." Deku whispered excitedly.

"I don't want it."

"No, no, it's something good, I promise!" Deku's eyes sparkled a bit and he placed a bunch of flower petals on Bakugou's nightstand. Bakugou looked annoyed, but then Deku added, "You asked me how I would know about you right?"

Bakugou's gaze sharpened slightly and Deku continued, "I've always been here, Kacchan." Deku leaned over and tapped Bakugou on the frontal lobe. His hands were stiff and cold. They felt dead.

"You're just in my imagination then?" Bakugou grinned a little. "Then I can make you go away whenever I want to!"

"No." Deku giggled, but his eyes were frigid.

"I'm real."

...

"KATSUKI!"

Bakugou woke up to feel a bunch of cold water dump on him.

"WHAT THE HELL?!"

Bakugou bolted upright and glared at his mother. She set the cup down on the pile of petals scattering them everywhere. Bakugou's eyes widened as they fell, but Mitsuki didn't seem to notice anything out of place.

"Get up already Katsuki!"

Bakugou had been staring between his mother and the petals, but decided to say nothing. "Alright I'm going, old hag!"

Mitsuki looked back at her son. 'What was he staring at?' She wondered as she made her way out the door leaving Bakugou to get ready for the day.

...

Bakugou made it to class early. He was glad. He hadn't seen Deku since last night and wanted to keep it that way.

A few of his classmates began entering the room and soon enough the class was full. The substitute teacher walked in. Bakugou narrowed his eyebrows, 'Just what is Aizawa doing right now?' Bakugou aggressively rubbed his eyes and yawned. Noticing this Kirishima asked, "Are you sleeping enough, Bakubro?!"

"Of course I am, Shitty hair!" Bakugou sneered, but then paused. There was something standing next to him. Bakugou allowed his hand to discreetly fall from the desk and felt it land on cold soft curls. He heard a giggle.

"Fuck." He whispered low enough so no one could hear him. He couldn't be having these shitty daydreams, visions, whatever the hell it was, it couldn't happen. It shouldn't happen. He was going to the number one hero he doesn't have time for this fucking bullshit. He had finals next week and he couldn't be messing around.

An icy finger jammed itself into Bakugou's side. "Teacher's calling you, Kacchan." Deku whispered. Bakugou directed his glare to see the sub who was staring at him.

"What?!" Bakugou yelled impatiently.

"Bakugou, come sit up here maybe that'll help you from daydreaming."

Bakugou frowned, but didn't protest not wanting to look any more out of the ordinary. He felt a little hand clasp around his own while he was walking towards the seat. He sat down and glared over at Deku who just smiled back at him. Bakugou sighed and continued taking notes. He couldn't cause a commotion or everyone would think he was crazy.

"Can I sit in your lap?"

Bakugou ignored the statement.

"Kacchan! Helloooo!" Deku ran in front of Bakugou's eyesight and waved his hands. Annoying the hell out of Bakugou. The sub looked over at Bakugou who was barely holding in his annoyance.

"Do we have a problem, Bakugou?" The sub asked eyebrows raised.

"Earth to Kacchan!" Deku giggled still waving.

"No." Bakugou stated through gritted teeth. The sub nodded and continued on with their lecture.

"Hey Kacchan, if something's bothering you, you should say it." Deku leaned forward towards Bakugou whilst waiting for an answer, but never got one. Deku frowned and started rambling on a wide variety of topics.

After five minutes of Deku's nonsense, Bakugou snapped.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Bakugou's face was red with rage and annoyance. The chair clattered on the ground behind him from the force of him standing up and the whole class stared at Bakugou in awe.

"What're you all staring at?!" Bakugou growled to the onlookers. Bakugou's eyes refocused on the green haired kid who was shyly playing with his fingers. "I'm sorry, Kacchan." He whispered. "I didn't know you were that mad."

"BAKUGOU, KATSUKI!" Bakugou felt someone shaking him. The sub glared at him out of breath from trying to get his attention. "Go to the principal's office! I'm tired of dealing with you!"

Bakugou then realized the gravity of the situation he was in. He shouted at this thing that for some reason nobody else can see and now they all think he's crazy. Great. Fucking fantastic. He sent a death glare to Deku who cowered further into himself.

"Go already! Get out of my sight!" The sub waved Bakugou away. Bakugou huffed and walked out of the classroom cheeks red with embarrassment and anger.

...

"Ahh, Bakugou!" Nezu called in a cheerful voice. Nezu glanced at Bakugou and caught sight of slight bags forming under his eyes. He looked back down at what the substitute teacher wrote.

Always causes commotion in class and is either sleeping or daydreaming while I'm teaching.

Bakugou glared at his hands ignoring the small hand that was tugging his shirt.

"Are you getting enough sleep, Bakugou?" Bakugou glanced up at Nezu and grunted a yes.

"Why're you falling asleep in class then?" Nezu asked with clear concern. Deku yanked Bakugou's shirt this time and Bakugou swayed slightly to the right. He swatted Deku's hand away and Nezu raised his eyebrows.

"A fly." Bakugou mumbled. "I don't know just tired." He growled afterwards obviously in a bad mood.

Nezu wasn't convinced, but decided on an action to take. "I want you to go to Recovery Girl and then sleep for the rest of the day." Bakugou glared at Nezu and then grumbled, "If I have too."and quickly left the room.
...

Bakugou walked home with a curly green haired kid racing in front of him. Recovery Girl had seen nothing wrong with him and told him to get some sleep, but for the rest of the day he wasn't able to fall asleep. So here he was walking home with an annoyingly loud toddler following him everywhere. Deku was rambling like he normally did, but suddenly paused. And despite himself, Bakugou stopped with him, curious at the change in behavior.

"That's me." Deku pointed at the news being played.

Bakugou glanced between Deku and the TV and saw Midoriya's face being displayed. Bakugou furrowed his eyebrows. It was a strange photo. Midoriya was grinning at the camera and looked like a normal teenager, but the header at the bottom rated differently:

DANGEROUS VILLAIN! DO NOT CONFRONT! RUN ON SIGHT!

*Could not get a better photo of the villain please do not be fooled by his outward appearance*

Deku's eyes bore up at Bakugou. "Look what you did." He whispered. Bakugou scrunched his face in anger and clenched his fists. "That bastard did it to himself." Bakugou felt a ghost pain in his nose, but disregarded it.

"But you did it." Deku glared at Bakugou. "You made me a villain. It's your fault. If you were a better person it wouldn't have happened." Bakugou massaged his nose and backed up to sit down on the bench behind them.

"You're just too scared to say anything because it'd hurt your pride."

"GO THE FUCK AWAY!" Bakugou shouted at Deku angrily, and laid his head in his hands. He heard a quiet whimper.

Bakugou looked up to see Deku's somber gaze, "You're a bully, Kacchan. You'll always be that way." He whispered quietly.

They stared at each other until Deku's expression brightened considerably. He ran over, sat next to Bakugou, and played with his fingers. Bakugou warily eyed Deku somewhat unsure about the rapid change of character. Deku returned the gaze.

"See you in your dreams, Kacchan." Deku smiled radiantly, but the rest of his demeanor was grim.

Bakugou blinked.

He was alone now.

Bakugou laid his head in his hands again.

"Fuck."
