Thank you to anyone who read, reviewed, followed, or favorited. It makes my day. Likewise, I have decided to update this story on Wednesdays. Though, I am horrible with updating schedules, so I apologize in advance.

Characters with a younger self

Annabeth grinned, sitting down legs crossed on the cold tile. She looked down at the books and read aloud:

"Percy Jackson and the Olympians, The Lightning Thief. Chapter one: I accidentally Vaporize my Pre-Algebra Teacher."

Piper blinked, pulling Jason closer to her. "That seems... odd."

"Piper, Piper, Piper." Percy sighed. "You have no idea."

A small smirk edged at Annabeth's lips, worrying Poseidon as the daughter of Athena continued to read.

"Look I didn't want to be a half-blood."

Several of the demigods started to laugh, some sneering sarcastically at the son of Poseidon.

"Really, kelp head." Thalia teased. "I thought that was the whole point."

Percy shrugged, wrapping an arm around Annabeth's shoulder. "Yep," He said, popping the 'p' and grinning.

"If you're reading ... my advice is-"

"Duck and run for cover." Thalia and Nico grinned.

"Come on," Percy argued. "I'm not that bad."

"Wait, what?" Annabeth asked.

"Percy gives crap advice," Thalia explained.

"I do not!"

Nico sighed, "Sorry, kelp head, but you do."

Athena eyed the trio, watching how Percy's arm was around Annabeth. They couldn't be... dating, could they?

No, Athena consoled herself. She wouldn't be dating a sea brat.

"Close this book ... normal life."

Hazel laughed. "Percy, I can't believe I'm saying this, but that is good advice."

"Thank you!" He exclaimed. "New favorite cousin!"

Jason grinned. "Bro, what about me?"

Percy studied him. Then he gave a dramatic sigh and said: "Nope. Still Hazel. You agree with your sister."

"Wait," Frank started. "How can you tell?"

"He can read people." Annabeth interrupted. She glanced at the gods. "You're being quiet."

"And you are supposed to be reading." Zeus growled.

All the future Greek demigods looked up, staring the god of the Sky down. Even the other gods looked at him like, are you for real?

Finally, Annabeth responded. "Why don't you read, instead?

Leo began to laugh, the Stolls looking at Annabeth in disbelief.

The god froze. "You dare, child? I am- "

"Yeah, yeah." Percy muttered. "King of the gods, god of the sky, all that."

"Yes, sir, because you are not going to do anything to me. You are going to read, you are going to learn." Annabeth's voice was firm.

Percy leaned over to whisper in her ear. This is why I love you.

She smiled, tossed the book to Zeus, and relaxed.

The look on his voice was priceless, but he began to read.

"Being a half-blood ... nasty, ways."

The future demigods lowered their heads. Hades tilted his head as prayers went to him, hoping that their friends had gotten into Elysium.

"True," Percy muttered.

Zeus and a few other gods rolled their eyes. It couldn't be that bad.

"If you're a ... this ever happened."

"So do we," This time all of the future demigods whispered.

"What happened?" Hestia asked, sympathy and concern lacing her features.

"Lady Hestia, it should come up in the books." Percy replied, lacing his fingers with Annabeth's - a motion that did not get past Athena. Poseidon saw, as well, but didn't care... that much.

"But if you ... come for you."

"Mysterious," Thalia grinned.

"But also true," Jason mused.

Leo frowned. "Why don't we stop reading then? It said -"

"Leo," Annabeth muttered. "Shut up. We're reading a book. Deal with it."

"Don't say I didn't warn you."

"You never warned us, though." Reyna argued.

"I was never warned either," Nico deadpanned.

"Shut it," Percy grumbled, making Annabeth laugh. "Both of you."

"My name is Percy Jackson."

"No way!" Leo gasped. "I thought it was Zeus!"

"I'm twelve years ... upstate New York."

"Wait, what happened a-" Travis started.

"Few months ago?" Connor finished.

Percy just shrugged. "You'll see."

"Am I a troubled kid?"

"Yes!" All the future kids yelled.

"All boys are," Zoe mumbled.

"Yeah. You could say that."

Percy scowled as everyone cheered.

"He admitted it!" Thalia and Nico smirked.

Frank raised an eyebrow, pulling Hazel into a hug as she laughed.

"I could start ... Greek and Roman stuff."

Athena nodded in approval. "Good," She muttered.

"I know ... field trips were."

Athena nearly threw up in disgust as many of the demigods nodded their agreement.

"I hate museums," Connor muttered to Travis.

"Museums are the worst," Piper exclaimed.

Annabeth frowned. "They're... okay." Even her voice sounded unsure.

Zeus decided to continue reading.

"But Mr. Brunner ... I had hopes."

Annabeth hummed. "Chiron?"

When Percy nodded in affirmative, she smiled.

"Chiron," Reyna asked. "What do you mean?"

Percy shrugged. "Sometimes Chiron goes undercover to watch demigods."

"Mr. Brunner was ... armor and weapons,"

"Roman," Athena huffed under her breath.

"Definitely Chiron," younger Annabeth nodded.

Piper, however, sighed jealously. "Lucky," she mumbled, several of the younger demigods nodding in agreement.

"so he was ...me to sleep."

Annabeth tsked, shaking her head, while many of the Demigods that knew him just laughed.

Athena, meanwhile, was glaring at the boy and anyone who laughed.

"I hoped the ... get in trouble."

Thalia was silent for a moment, staring intently at Percy. Finally, when she spoke, laughter tinged her voice.

"You just jinxed yourself," She said, nudging his shoulder. The motion made Artemis pause. She still hadn't figured out how the daughter of Zeus was her lieutenant, but with her being so casual with a boy...

A few of the other demigods nodded to Thalia's statement, some even going as far as to tease him before Zeus impatiently started to read.

"Boy, was I wrong."

"See!" Thalia exclaimed with Piper nodding beside her, having to hold her laughs as Percy sighed dramatically.

"Wow," He said. "I sure learned my lesson."

"You jinxed us at least once while we were on the Argo II," Jason pointed out.

Hazel laughed with Frank as Percy pretended to pout.

"See, bad things ... get the idea."

Leo was frozen in shock, the Stolls rolling in silent fits of laughter.

"You, you-" Leo stuttered.

Unbalanced, he stood and knelt in front of Percy. "Teach me, master." He begged.

That broke it. Everyone who had been fighting their laughs at that point couldn't hold it in - even a few of the gods.

It was five minutes before Hestia could even be heard to be trying to calm everyone down.

Finally, Zeus was able to continue reading.

"This trip, I ... peanut butter-and-ketchup sandwich."

Aphrodite gagged. "That can't possibly... that can't possible be real."

"Trust me," Percy shuddered. "It was."

Piper wrinkled her nose, shifting her legs on the cold tile.

"Grover was an ... in the cafeteria."

"Grover," Annabeth groaned. "Grover, no."

"He really cannot keep his cover," Luke muttered under his breath.

None of the gods noticed the glares he received, except for Hermes.

"Anyway, Nancy Bobofit ... on this trip."

The Stolls sighed. "Hate when that happens," Travis muttered.

"I'm going ... I mumbled."

Ares perked up.

"Grover tried to ... like peanut butter.'"

"Not in your hair," Piper frowned.

"He dodged another ... if anything happens."

Ares seemed to deflate in his throne as Clarisse sighed.

Several of the other demigods started to lean against each other, against the floor. They seemed tired as Zeus began to read again.

"Looking back on ... get myself into."

The glare Percy received from Artemis could have shattered glass. "You'd hit a girl?" She demanded.

"Lady Artemis, a bully is a bully. If she can't take what she gives then she shouldn't be doing it. Plain and simple."

"Mr Brunner led ... three thousand years."

"Longer," Nearly all the gods and goddesses denied.

Chiron smiled softly while the other demigods started to fall asleep. He doubted that they would be continuing to add comments while Zeus read, until they got some sleep.

"He gathered us ... a nervous breakdown."

Nico, too wary to even try and sleep, eyed his father warily. Hazel, eyes half closed, was leaning against Frank. She noticed the look he gave Hades.

Poseidon did too. He also knew that one of his Furies could easily become Lawyers... or teachers

"From her first ... for a month."

"Long detention," A younger demigod muttered, holding back a yawn.

Most of the demigods had started to drift off. Only some remained wide awake, too cautious to sleep.

Annabeth and Percy were leaning against each other, their eyes on the floor while Zeus read. Occasionally they would glance at Luke or Annabeth.

Reyna sat more alone, but close to Nico. Hazel and Frank were talking quietly, but still paying enough attention.

Jason was sitting stock still, back straight, eyes on the gods. Piper was leaning against his back, arms around him and secure around his middle.Thalia sat next to them.

Most of the demigods though, besides Chiron's group (Chiron stood among all the demigods, a thoughtful look on his face), were in a small group. Most were slightly asleep, but the rest of the seven were playing a game of hangman with some paper and pen Leo had.

"One time, after ... You're absolutely right.'"

Luke, one of the only demigods that wasn't falling asleep, grimaced.

"Mr Brunner kept ... meant it to."Leo looked up from where he was currently drawing an arm and made a face. "Good job, Waterboy."

"Don't call me that," Percy muttered.

"The whole group ... his kids, right?'"All of the gods and goddesses that had been digested groaned loudly, startling several demigods.

Hestia noticed (her face pale as she remembered being swallowed), and realized most were falling asleep on the cold tile. She snapped her fingers, conjuring blankets and pillows around the circle of demigods.

Percy smiled warmly at the goddess, pulling a dark blue blanket over him and Annabeth while the gods complained loudly about being swallowed.

Eventually, the argument came to an end and Zeus began to read.

"'Yes,' Mr Brunner ... king god, and-"Zeus paused, looking at what he had just read. Slowly turning purple, he glanced down and began to read again. He did still glared at the son of Poseidon, though.

"God?' Mr Brunner ... the gods won.'"Athena stared at the demigod, trying to not be so angry that her daughter was obviously dating a sea brat. "You... You just summed up years of fighting in... twelve words."

"Yeah," Percy nodded, finger twisting in Annabeth's hair. "It's a gift."

"Some snickers from ... acting like doofuses."Zoe Nightshade nearly growled in annoyance. Artemis looked disgusted.

"Grover and I ... eat my lunch."Chiron looked sad. He had been to her funeral, and she had died at such a young age... a demigod, daughter of Apollo. Such a beautiful voice, and could hit the most miraculous of shots.

Apollo looked at him, and though his face was a mask the Centataur could tell he knew who the girl was.

"The class gathered ... not a genius.""True"

Percy barely glanced up, just shrugged.

"Grover didn't say ...she'd give me.""Momma's boy," Ares sneered.

Percy and a few of the other demigods just looked at him. "So?"

"Mr Brunner parked ...with liquid Cheetos."Several people gagged. Others sat quietly vowing to make this girl's a living hell if she dared to this to Grover.

"I tried to ...I'll-kill-you-later stare."Several demigods shuddered. They already knew that this was a monster, or most did anyway, but that stare..."

"Then I turned ... wasn't so sure.""Good," A few people muttered.

"I went after ... to pulverize it..."Annabeth shuddered, linking her arms around Percy.

He's okay, he's okay...

"You've been giving ...me to ribbons.""Hades!" Poseidon snapped. "You sent a Fury after my son!"

"Brother, this is in the future. I do not know why I made this choice."

"Then things got ... swung the sword.""Naturally?" Jason muttered, loud enough for Percy to hear. He shrugged.

"Yep,"

Through the whole scene the demigods (who were now more or less all awake, the tension in the room thick enough to cut with a knife) had been going through scenarios. This, though, they didn't expect.

"The metal blade ... you feeling all right?'"Zeus closed the book with a snap, looking annoyed. Throughout the final parts of the chapter, once the Fury was gone, the demigods had started to drift of again.

Hestia decided to let them sleep. She snapped her fingers and most of the demigods were teleported into beds. "We will continue reading in the morning," She told the remaining demigods. When they nodded, she snapped again.

Percy and Annabeth appeared in a small room, together. So did Jason and Piper, and then Frank and Hazel. Nico was teleported into a room with two beds with Reyna, and Leo was as well. When he saw the extra bed he frowned, then realized Thalia was stumbling towards it.

Hey! I know the last of this is probably trash as I wrote it at like 8 at night, and it's almost nine now. Sorry. But I promised an update, and I did want the demigods to be falling asleep at the end. Have a good day or night! See you next Wednesday!
