The Black Knights. After the First Battle of the Tokyo Settlement, which has ended in a draw, Area 11 is at a standstill. With the Britannian forces decimated and the Black Knights in full retreat, Zero and his new co-leader, Destiny, have to create new plans in order to continue the Black Rebellion. As Zero is about to introduce Destiny and his new allies to the Black Knights on their submarine near Shikine Island, Suzaku Kururugi is waking up after he was put to sleep by Destiny due to his Geass Command back on Kamine Island.

In a daze, Suzaku spoke, "Why did I fall asleep? And, where's Zero?!"
Suzaku stood up as he looked everywhere for Zero but to no avail. When he went outside, his Lancelot is nowhere to be seen. In an instant, he screamed like his heart is in tears,
"ZERO! WHEN I SEE YOU AGAIN, I SWEAR TO MY PRINCESS THAT YOU WILL NOT GET A QUICK DEATH!"
Then, he calmed down for a bit and looked to the sky as he whispered, "Euphy, I'm truly sorry… I failed you… My first love." As he cried loudly while slowly kneeling to the ground.
Just then, Cécile Croomy is now contacting Suzaku through the headset he's wearing.
"Suzaku? Come in, Suzaku! Prince Schneizel has ordered a full retreat towards the Viceroy Palace. You are ordered to bring the Lancelot to the Avalon for repairs. Do you copy, over?"
As he stood up and stopped crying, Suzaku replied using the headset, "Copy. This is Suzaku, requesting transport to Kamine Island, over. Zero managed to escape using the Lancelot when I was knocked out. I repeat, the Lancelot has fallen into Zero's hands. Do you comply, over?"
"Acknowledged. Requesting transport to your location now. Lloyd will not be happy about this. Anyway, I'm glad that you're safe." Cécile replied back to Suzaku with concern.
"Thank you for your concern, Cécile. I'll just wait here on Kamine Island for the transport to arrive. Suzaku, over and out." As Suzaku cut the connection as he knows that his fight is not yet over with Zero and the Black Knights.
Near Shikine Island

Black Knights Submarine
Meanwhile, Lelouch, disguised as Zero, has called another meeting as he wanted to introduce Destiny and his new allies to his fellow Black Knights.
"Black Knights, I have an important announcement to make. As of today, I, Zero, will have a new co-leader in order to lead our beloved group into further heights! I represent to you, my partner and co-leader of the Black Knights, Destiny!"
As he heard his name, Destiny steps forward and gives a Japanese bow in order to give respect to his new allies. When he raised his head, Destiny spoke.
"Greetings, Black Knights! I am Destiny, the man who saved Zero back at Kamine Island and now, the new pilot of the Lancelot. I'm looking forward to our future missions together."
The Black Knights responded with salutes as signs of respect to their new co-leader. As such, Zero moves forward as he looked at Destiny and said, "It seems that the Black Knights already accepted you as my equal."
And Destiny replied, "Well, our Black Knights are loyal to you, Zero, and now to me, Destiny. Well, I believe that you still have new allies to introduce."
Zero replied back, "As expected of my equal. You read my mind."
"Well, by all means, please continue." Destiny encouraged.
Thus, Zero obliged with a smirk hidden on his mask. "Why, thank you, Destiny." As he looks back at the Black Knights to continue his speech.
"Aside from Destiny, the Ashford Academy Student Council members have decided to join our just cause. Please come forward, Milly Ashford, Rivalz Cardemonde, and Shirley Fenette."
As the Ashford Academy Student Council members are moving towards them, the Black Knights complained,
"They're Britannians!"
"They're not supposed to be here!"
"All Britannians think that they're above us! Get rid of them!"
"SILENCE!" Destiny uttered one word in anger. Milly, Rivalz, and Shirley were amazed that their new co-leader was defending them. Even Zero, Kallen, and C.C. were shocked to see their new ally so angry. Thus, Destiny challenged the Black Knights with powerful convictions.
"Just because they're Britannians, it doesn't mean that you should treat them like insects, just like their military forces always did with 'Numbers'! Ask yourselves with these questions, 'What if Zero's a Britannian Prince?!' 'If my co-leader is one of the princes of Britannia that all of you despise, will you abandon him now, who did nothing but to give you the power and hope to fight Britannia and free Japan?!' 'Or rather the reason why all of you are rejecting our new allies is that your major differences always get in the way?!' If you say something that would disrespect the person behind the mask of Zero or the symbol itself for that matter, that means that all of you are like Britannia itself. In other words, all of you would become the 'Knights of Corruption', which are sloppy and selfish instead of the 'Knights of Justice' that my co-leader wanted to create."
Everyone in the Black Knights submarine was silent and shocked at Destiny's statements. Kallen noticed what Destiny had meant. She knew that Lelouch, behind Zero's mask, is a Britannian Prince. As such, Milly, Rivalz, and Shirley are surprised to see that Destiny really wanted to put the Black Knights in their place with his new authority. On the other hand, Zero is acknowledging Destiny silently for challenging the Black Knights' loyalty as his school friends are now joining his cause. As such, he said in his mind,
"I see now. That way, even if I show them my true identity, the Black Knights will now know that judging Zero from his blood, race, and ideology is a foolish and selfish act. Well done, Destiny. It's part of my plan that I wanted my identity as 'Zero' to be recognized as a symbol of the Japanese people and the rest of the world. Who knows, maybe by your words today, you might become a symbol too, Destiny. I'm so glad that you're my ally. Otherwise, you would become my second worst enemy, other than Schneizel."
Destiny waited for somebody in the Black Knights to say their response. After five minutes of silence, finally, Nagisa spoke to her new co-leader as the rest of the Four Holy Swords let her respond with courage.
"Sir! May I respond?" She asked Destiny.
"You may do so. What's your name and rank, Black Knight?" Destiny questioned the woman.
"Nagisa Chiba. I'm the sole female member of the Four Holy Swords and Captain of the Fourth Squad." As Nagisa responded to Destiny's question.
"Noted. Alright, Captain Nagisa, what do you think?" As Destiny points to Nagisa with his new authority.
"Honestly, sir, I'm conflicted. I meant no disrespect, but if you're suggesting that Zero's a Britannian Prince, then, I have no choice but to doubt him again. Even though he rescued all of us when defeat is upon us, it doesn't mean that he did it just because we're friends or anything." As Nagisa is having second thoughts about her beloved leader.
"You have a good point, Captain. However, what if I told you that we have a traitor in our midst?" Destiny announced.
All Black Knights gasped, including Kallen and Zero as they never knew any of this. Thus, Zero questioned his co-leader with a loud voice.
"We have a traitor here in the Black Knights?! That's absurd!"
And Kallen acknowledged, "I agree! Do you have proof, Destiny?"
"As a matter of fact, I do. Diethard, will you tell our Black Knights about what happened at Ashford Academy during Zero's absence?" As Destiny commanded the Secretary of Media and Intelligence.
"Yes, Destiny. With your permission, Zero, I will state my case of this betrayal." Diethard informed Zero.
"Granted. I wanted to know who dared to betray me when I was away from the battle." As Zero acknowledged the order made by Destiny.
"I got a bad feeling about this." Kallen thought as Diethard is about to state this case.
"Well, I was informed that our deputy commander brought a Britannian woman in our base for safety. Then, I heard gunshots, which is fired by the same woman that went with Ohgi in the dining room as I heard the words from Sugiyama, Don't tell anyone else about Ohgi. It'll just shake them up. That's all I know."
"And how does this relate to the betrayal, Diethard?!" As Kallen demanded the answer.
"Perhaps I should answer that question." As Shirley raised her hand.
"Shirley?!" Kallen was surprised by her Britannian friend's courage.
"Do you have something to say, Shirley?" Zero questioned.
"I do, Zero. Now that I think about it, I got a hunch that it was the same woman that I cooperated with back at Port Yokosuka."
"Let me guess. Villetta Nu, correct?" As Zero wanted to confirm his suspicions.
"Right," Shirley confirmed.
"Then that means…" As Zero has already connected the dots to the betrayal mystery.
"It is as you thought, Zero. The traitor is none other than Kaname Ohgi, deputy commander of the Black Knights, for the crime of bringing Villetta Nu at Ashford Academy during the battle!" Destiny declared.
All Black Knights were shocked at the declaration as they murmured to each other,
"Impossible!"
"That's absurd!"
"There's no way that it could be true! Destiny's lying to us!"
At the same time, Kallen wondered in her mind, "Ohgi, why would you do this?"
"Shocking, isn't it?" Destiny commented humorously.
"Not funny, Destiny," Kallen said with anger.
"I can't believe it. My deputy commander betrayed me because of Villetta Nu." Zero replied as he was surprised by his deputy commander's actions.
"We tried to stop her when that woman shot Ohgi, but she got away." As Sugiyama lowered his head in shame.
As such, Destiny replied back, "I'm sure you did, Black Knight. But as far as I'm concerned, he brought a Britannian spy at Ashford Academy on purpose and I, for one, will not let go of this betrayal. But for the sake of respect, I decided to dismiss this case for now as the accused is still being treated by our medics. However, for the punishment that our deputy commander shall receive, Zero will be the judge. Is that acceptable, fellow co-leader?"
"Agreed." Zero simply answered back.
Kallen let out a big sigh as she was relieved that her friend would not be punished for now as he was still unconscious in the temporary medical room. All remaining Black Knights were also relieved that their deputy commander will not be shamed for his actions for now. Without further ado, Destiny is about to introduce his partner to the Black Knights.
"Anyway, as Zero has said before I arrived, my partner is already here with us and she's very reliable and loyal to me and to my co-leader respectively. In fact, after she knew about what happened in the Special Administrative Zone of Japan, her anger grew, and decided to join us in order to do what is right! Black Knights, I present to you, the Former Third Princess of the Holy Britannian Empire, Euphemia li Britannia!"
When her name is called, Euphy walked out of the shadows and stood beside Zero and Destiny as most of the Black Knights were shocked, and somewhat disgusted to see the supposedly 'dead' princess facing them with a smile on her face. Before they would comment, Destiny took out his sidearm and point it at the Black Knights as he said,
"Before you could argue why a former royal of Britannia decided to join our just cause, I would appreciate it if all of you would let her speak first so that she would have the chance to explain what happened between Zero and her before the SAZ Massacre happened."
All Black Knights silently agreed since their new co-leader just challenged them earlier about Zero's identity if he's a Britannian Prince. At the same time, Zero whispered to his half-sister,
"Euphy, you should make up a story that would convince the Black Knights. We couldn't let them know about Geass. At least, not yet."
"Understood, Zero. I love you, brother." Euphy whispered at Zero with affection.
"I love you too, Euphy." Zero whispered back with the same emotion.
As Destiny put his sidearm back, Euphy explained to the Black Knights about what happened between Zero and her when they talked to each other without the information regarding Geass. When she finished her half-truth story, Kallen reacted with rage in her heart.
"Those cowards! I know that I already heard this story from Destiny but still, blaming the SAZ Massacre on the Black Knights just because Zero put her life in danger is too much!"
"Kallen, Britannia knows about this truth too, but it's in the worst way possible. Remember about what happened with Princess Cornelia?! She's filled with insanity when she heard that her sister was shot by my fellow co-leader. Am I right, Zero?" Destiny said.
And Zero replied, "Yes. It's unfortunate that Britannia didn't accept the existence of the SAZ. In the end, they made a grave mistake. It gave rise to our Black Rebellion as retaliation. Unfortunately, we failed to get Japan back so I propose that we should find new allies for our rebellion to continue. As such, we must leave Japan."
"That sounds like a fantastic idea! What do you think?" As Destiny supported Zero's decision.
"Out of the question!" Sugiyama retorted.
"We won't abandon Japan!" Nagisa shouted.
"I share your conviction but do we have enough resources to launch another attack on the Tokyo Settlement? I think not." Toudoh reminded Nagisa as the sole female member of the Holy Swords gritted her teeth.
"Listen to Zero, Black Knights. I know that I just joined your cause but at least I know that Zero always has a plan. If he wants us to leave Area 11, or rather Japan, there must be a reason why." Milly said with courage.
"Milly…" Zero was amazed to see her filled with courage in her heart.
"I agree too. Although I'm a Britannian, at least I know now about the darkness inside my beloved home. That's why I decided to follow Zero with all my heart. Destiny too, when he saved Princess Euphemia from the clutches of her fellow Britannian soldiers. So please, trust Zero and Destiny as I trust both of them with my life." As Shirley looked at Zero, Destiny, and the Black Knights with a smile on her face.
"Shirley…" As Zero was touched by her beloved friend's words.
"Yeah! Zero is my friend, so I respect his decision." As Rivalz supported his friend's actions.
"Easy for you to say! You're Britannian!" Sugiyama retorted.
"As if I should trust the words of a Brit!" Tamaki retorted as well.
With a conviction, Destiny raised another challenge to the Black Knights. He questioned,
"Well then, what does it mean to be Japanese?!" As the Black Knights became silent again with that statement as Destiny continued, "To be a Nation?! Language?! Territory?! Blood Ties?!"
With courage, Kallen responded, "No! That's not it, Destiny." She paused for a bit as she's looking for the right words to say. Then, she concluded, "It's your heart!"
Satisfied with the answer, Destiny replied, "I agree, Kallen. Awareness of self, mores, and pride. In short, so long as you have the roots of your culture in your hearts, then you are Japanese no matter where you live!"
Just then, Kaguya Sumeragi came forward, which surprised Toudoh and the Four Holy Swords as their Head Mistress of the Kyōto House responded with happiness on her face,
"I totally agree, Destiny! My, your costume is almost like Zero! Could it be that you liked my future husband's ideals?"
"Excuse me?! Future Husband?!" Shirley shouted with jealousy written on her face.
"Huh, looks like Zero found himself another partner." As Milly laughed in amusement.
"Kaguya, as much as I wanted to continue this love affair, I suggest that you should listen to both of us for a while. We'll talk about Zero's personal affairs some other time." Destiny reminded the Head Mistress.
"Of course, Destiny! I'm glad you're here with us. We shall support you equally with Zero." As Kaguya wanted to give a handshake to Zero's equal.
"I appreciate it." As Destiny accepted the gesture by Kaguya.
With Kaguya's actions, all Black Knights decided to go with Zero's plan as they responded with salutes to both Zero and Destiny. At the same time, they also accepted the Former Third Princess as an ally to the Black Knights. As such, Destiny said to his co-leader,
"Looks like with your future wife's actions, the Black Knights accepted Euphy and the plan itself. Your charms know no bounds. No wonder C.C. wanted to be with you all the time." As C.C. blushed with Destiny's statement. In response, Zero replied,
"Shut it, Destiny! My God, you're just like my Witch!" As Destiny laughed at Zero's statement.
"Anyways, Comrades! Thank you for accepting my proposal. Here's the plan…" As Zero is now explaining the details of his beloved plan along with Destiny, Euphy, Kallen, Shirley, Milly, Rivalz, C.C., and the Black Knights in order to assist him.

Viceroy's Palace
5 days after the First Battle of the Tokyo Settlement, Suzaku Kururugi is waiting just outside the Viceroy's Palace when suddenly, he saw something flying that is getting closer to the building. It was the Lancelot that was stolen by Zero during the last battle. Seeing the target, he alerted the base using his headset,
"Attention! Lancelot spotted 30 miles southeast of the Viceroy's Palace! Presumed hostile! Send reinforcements, over!"
"This is Prince Schneizel el Britannia onboard on the Avalon. Message received. Reinforcements are en route. Major Kururugi, your job is to delay the Lancelot. Use a Gloucester if you have to."
"Yes, Your Highness!" As Suzaku complied with the order. While he's getting a Gloucester, he said in his mind, "Still, why would Zero come here alone? It's not his style. But, it's my chance to get revenge. Euphy, I shall now kill him so that your soul will finally have peace." As he already found what he's looking for and entered the cockpit of the Gloucester with its key and code. With the requirements done, Suzaku finally declared, "Major Kururugi, launching!" as the Knightmare went out of its launching zone.
Just then, Guilford and Darlton, on their respective Gloucester Knightmares, are already in pursuit by the Lancelot. They were amazed and terrified at the same time to see that the enemy is faster and stronger than both of them as they just dodged VARIS rifle shots from it.
"Whoever this pilot is, he's very good at using the Lancelot. In fact, he's maybe on par with Major Kururugi." Darlton said as he's dodging the MVS attacks from the enemy.
"Do you think that's Zero in the cockpit?" Guilford questioned as he dodged another VARIS rifle shot.
"I don't think so. It could be another ace of the Black Knights." Darlton concluded.
"Like the pilot in the Guren? If you say it that way, that's not good." Guilford warned his friend.
Suddenly, Lancelot's pilot is speaking through the speakers built-in on the Knightmare. He declared,
"General Andreas Darlton and Personal Knight of Princess Cornelia, Gilbert G.P. Guilford, I presume?"
Surprised that the enemy pilot knows their names, Guilford responded,
"That's right! Why are you attacking us?! If you're a Britannian soldier that is using private property, that's insubordination!"
"As he said, your presence is unwelcoming here. Why have you come to the Viceroy's Palace?!" Darlton questioned the enemy.
"It's very simple, really. I have come to deliver a message to Prince Schneizel el Britannia, the temporary Viceroy of Area 11, in curtesy of Zero, co-leader of the Black Knights… and my equal."
"What makes you say that Zero's your equal?" Guilford questioned the enemy pilot with anger written on his face.
"And what did you mean that terrorist is your co-leader?" As Darlton points his EM Jousting Lance at the Lancelot. In response, the enemy pilot declared,
"He's my equal because I am Destiny, the man responsible for the retreat of Zero's forces 5 days ago at the First Battle of the Tokyo Settlement and also, the man responsible for stealing this beloved Knightmare back at Kamine Island!" As Destiny charged at Guilford with his MVS and managed to hit the Gloucester with a powerful strike.
"DAMN IT!" Guilford cursed as his Knightmare went down in one shot.
"Guilford, eject!" Darlton suggested his friend in a panic.
"I can't! The ejection system is jammed!" As Guilford exclaimed in an angry tone.
"It seems that Princess Cornelia chose her personal knight wrong. I pity you." Destiny mocked as he attacked Darlton from behind and brutally destroyed the cockpit of his enemy's Gloucester. As Destiny is about to strike the final blow, Darlton's final words to Guilford were,
"Princess… Cornelia, I… have… failed… you. Guilford, take… care… of… the… Glaston… Knights… for… me."
"Sayonara," Destiny said as he used the MVS to slash the Gloucester in half.
"Darlton, NO!" Guilford screamed as his friend's Knightmare got blown into pieces.
"Now, it's your turn!" Destiny declared as he's now charging at Guilford's Gloucester.
Suddenly, Suzaku, in his own Gloucester, arrived just in time as he exclaimed with his Knightmare speakers on, "I DON'T THINK SO!" as he blocked Destiny's attack.
"Major Kururugi, thanks!" Guilford said as he saw Suzaku's Gloucester moved in front of him.
"What's the situation?!" Suzaku asked as he's watching Destiny's movements.
"The Lancelot's new pilot made us look like fools! As a result, Darlton was killed in his Gloucester. Be careful, that might be your Knightmare, but the pilot's no joke. He's more skilled than you think." Guilford warned him with concern on his face.
"Noted. Can you eject?" Suzaku questioned the Personal Knight of Princess Cornelia.
"No good. The ejection system won't respond. You have to beat it on your own." Guilford reminded the major.
"I don't need to beat him. I just need to delay it until our reinforcements arrive." As Suzaku is readying himself to fight his own Knightmare.
"Good luck. You'll need it for Princess Euphemia's sake." Guilford encouraged.
Suzaku chuckled and said, "I think I need more than luck to delay him."
"You got that right!" Destiny exclaimed as he used his VARIS rifle to shoot his enemy's legs but Suzaku managed to dodge the shots just in time.
"Damn! You're good!" Suzaku exclaimed as he charged at the Lancelot with his own MVS as he targets the arms of his own Knightmare.
"Humph! A simple attack won't do anything to me!" As Destiny blocked the attack with Slash Harkens and Suzaku was very surprised. Thus, he responded in anger,
"How is it possible?! You stole my Lancelot 5 days ago and there's no way that you could be better than me to use it, especially if it's you, Zero!" As Suzaku fired his own Slash Harkens but Destiny slashed them using his MVS like nothing.
"Do you really think that I'm Zero?! You got it all wrong, Major Kururugi. My co-leader would never fight like this. I'm more aggressive than him at close-quarters combat. Too bad, I don't have time to play with such a stubborn brat like you because I need this message to be delivered to Prince Schneizel. Surrender now, Major, or face the consequences." Destiny warned as he points his MVS and VARIS rifle at Suzaku.
"I won't back down! For Euphy's sake, I must fight! After what happened at the SAZ, I won't forgive Zero for killing her!" As Suzaku recklessly charged at Destiny at full speed.
"Your love for your princess is very strong but do you really think that Euphy would want you in the first place?" Destiny asked.
"How do you…?" As Suzaku wavered, thus, giving Destiny the chance to shoot his VARIS rifle and managed to hit his enemy's legs.
"DAMN IT!" Suzaku cursed as Destiny points his MVS directly at his cockpit.
"CHECKMATE!" Destiny declared.
"Tell me at least your name," Suzaku said as he stared at the Lancelot while gritting his teeth for his failure.
"I am Destiny, co-leader of the Black Knights and the new pilot of your Knightmare. Oh, and give Earl Lloyd Asplund my regards for creating it. I appreciate his work." Destiny informed Suzaku.
"I'll make sure that my boss will get that message, despite the fact that you're a terrorist. It seems that I'm outmatched," Suzaku admitted.
"You are good to notice that, for a stubborn fool." Destiny mocked.
After the short battle, Destiny is now informing Zero about his success using his earpiece as he turned off the speakers of the Lancelot.
"Zero, this is Destiny. I'm happy to report that my mission is a success. Major Kururugi will not bother us for a while you are about to broadcast our message to the world through our transport aircraft."
"Excellent! Now go to the Avalon to meet Schneizel. It's time to announce our public intentions to Britannia. Do you have the recording that we made with Euphy 2 days ago?"
"Still intact, Zero. Once our message has been delivered, I'll play our Black Knights Anthem as all of you set course for Europe. Our presence there will be well hidden as the E.U., Euro Britannia, the Chinese Federation, and Britannia itself still believed that the Black Knights are still in Area 11. As I have stated earlier, I'll be the decoy while you guys enter European airspace."
"Understood. I'll inform Diethard that the time has come to inform the Japanese people and the Britannians of our beloved message. How's the new and improved Lancelot? Is it perfect for your fighting style?"
"Almost. A few adjustments are still needed here and there, but overall, the performance is very splendid. Still, it's too bad that the Blaze Luminous is not in full strength as Rakshata is planning for a new system to replace it so it's a good thing that my enemies only used melee weapons as I encountered them. It seems that they learned a little after your last battle."
"I see. Anyways, stay safe out there, Destiny. I don't want to lose my greatest ally too soon as Euphy would be so sad that you will be stuck there if that happens. I'll see you soon in Europe, my friend."
"See you soon, Zero. Give Euphy my regards and I promise that I shall bring back Nina Einstein to you with no complications."
"Thank you, Destiny. I sure Euphy would be happy to see her again. Also, my friends from the Student Council would appreciate it if you bring back our member safe and sound from my brother Schneizel."
"Don't worry, Prince Schneizel will never know what hit him and I shall give the Second Prince the message that he will never forget." As Destiny ended the connection and turned on the speakers again on his Lancelot, knowing that Suzaku will rant at any second.
"Why can't I do anything right?!" Suzaku screamed as he clutched his fists.
"Because you can't change the system of Britannia; the system changes you. Accept it!" Destiny said with a conviction.
"Never! I can change Britannia from within, as long as I follow the system!" Suzaku insisted himself.
"There's only one way that could work, and that is if you become the Emperor of Britannia, Major. Unfortunately, there's no way that Emperor Charles would allow a 'Number' to be part of the Britannian Royal Family now, is there?" As Destiny tries to convince Suzaku to abandon his path.
"Even so, it's worth a try, Destiny. Becoming the Emperor might be off-limits but I could become the Knight of One and make Japan my personal Area." Suzaku informed his enemy.
"In that case, you're a naive fool. I wasted enough time talking to you. No wonder Euphy died because of your stubbornness." Destiny accused.
"You don't know that! Zero killed Euphy, not me! And how do you know about Princess Euphemia's nickname?!" Suzaku asked Destiny with anger written on his face.
"That's for you to find out. Goodbye, Suzaku Kururugi." As Destiny used the Lancelot's Float System to leave the area.
"DAMN IT!" Suzaku screamed as he saw his enemy going to the Avalon.

At the same time, Prince Schneizel has arrived on the skies of the Viceroy's Palace with additional Knightmare reinforcements, Sutherlands and Gloucesters, which are carried by VTOL transport planes.
Just then, Destiny arrived at the scene and declared using the built-in speakers on his Lancelot.
"Prince Schneizel el Britannia, I'm Destiny, co-leader of the Black Knights and I have come to bring you a message from Zero himself! This involves all Britannians and Japanese in the vicinity!"
In the airship Avalon, the prince himself is curious about this mysterious Destiny. On the other hand, Earl Lloyd Asplund is screaming very loud and in a mad panic when he saw his own creation at the hands of the enemy while Cécile Croomy is trying to calm him down. Nevertheless, Prince Schneizel is now issuing his orders using the speakers on the Avalon.
"This is Prince Schneizel to all forces. Hold your fire! We can't risk shooting the Lancelot without hitting the citizens. Let this mysterious Destiny deliver his message. We may get some ideas about Zero's plans. I repeat, HOLD YOUR FIRE!"
"I'm glad that you could understand my intentions, Your Highness." Destiny turns off the speakers for a bit and informs Zero using his earpiece.
"Zero, it's time."
Suddenly, the monitors of every block of the Tokyo Settlement come to life as thousands of Britannians and Japanese saw the terrorist Zero appearing on the screens. In a loud voice, Destiny's co-leader declared,
"I am Zero!"
Just as he announced his name, Suzaku glared at him in anger as he saw that one of the monitors is faced directly at him. Also, Destiny is keeping an eye out for any Britannian Knightmares that may try to disobey the Prince's orders. He's maybe a terrorist now, even so, he doesn't like anyone trying to make a fool out of themselves. As such, Zero's speech continued with a bang.
"Hear me, Britannia! All of you who have power, heed my words carefully. I am burdened by sorrow. A week ago, the Special Administrative Zone of Japan was created by Princess Euphemia li Britannia. For the first time in my life, I have never felt so blessed that I have decided that I should work with her to achieve peace between Britannia and Japan. But everything changed when I discovered something very disturbing. The Emperor's agents, the OSI, planned to turn the SAZ into a massacre! To make it worse, they released a drug that only affected Princess Euphemia in order to ensure that she will be forced to kill the Japanese!"
Everyone in the Tokyo Settlement was shocked and horrified to hear that the SAZ Massacre is set as an example of what would happen if the Emperor doesn't like the idea. At the same time, Suzaku was having second thoughts about what Zero had just announced. As such, he said in his mind, "Zero, please tell me that's not true! Please tell me that it's just a bluff that would be essential of putting the Japanese people and the Britannian populace on your side! No matter what you say to the public, it doesn't change the fact that you killed Euphy!" As Zero is continuing his speech.
"In order to prove that my words are the truth, my new co-leader and pilot of the Lancelot, Destiny, will play a recording, which contains my conversation between myself and the Princess during the inauguration of the SAZ. Destiny, please."
"Yes, Zero," Destiny said with Lancelot's built-in speakers on as he complied with the order so that everybody can hear the recording. He pulls out a small recording device that has the data containing the conversation between his co-leader and Euphy. With a push of a button, Destiny plays the recording.
"You're taking a lot of care, aren't you? Even though the cameras are off." Euphy said.
"Because I've been in hiding for a long time. The fault of a certain empire, I'm afraid. This is a needle gun, made from ceramic and bamboo. It can't be picked up on a detector." Zero replied.
"Zero… You wouldn't shoot me, would you?" Euphy questioned.
"No. I wouldn't. You'll be doing the shooting, Princess Euphemia." Zero replied as Euphy shuddered at his statement. Thus, the famous terrorist explained why.
"This ceremony is being broadcast worldwide. And the world's going to see you, a Britannian Princess, shoot me. What do you think will happen then?"
"Violence would break out, I presume," Euphy concluded.
"Right. I will become a martyr, tricked into a deathtrap, and your popularity will crash to the Earth." As Zero supported Princess Euphemia's claim.
"What kind of nonsense are you saying? Help me rebuild Japan…" Euphy insisted.
"Stop it! Stop giving me your pity! I won't take your charity! I have to try and achieve this on my own! And for that, I'll stain your hands with blood, Euphemia li Britannia!" Zero shouted in anger.
"I've given up that name!" Euphy exclaimed, which Zero gasped as she continued to explain.
"There'll probably be an announcement from the homeland soon, but I've given up my claim to the throne!"
"Why? Not because you accepted me, is it?" Zero questioned as he's still in shock as Euphy asked another question.
"A price had to be paid for doing something this selfish, right?"
"It's easy for you to give it up, isn't it? I suppose you did it for my sake." As Zero wondered why she did that.
"No. I did it for a certain sister of mine and that's what made up my mind. It made me consider what was truly important to me." As Euphy said that with a smiling face. Zero chuckled as he replied,
"Princess Euphemia, you are a fool. An amazing fool. However, in your usual rash fashion, you've managed to end up winning all of it. When I think of you, I don't visualize a sub-viceroy or a princess."
"Then, will you join this Euphemia and help her?" Euphy asked.
"You… You are the worst enemy I ever faced. You win. Let's figure out a better use of this special zone of yours. Oh, but I won't act as your subordinate, right?" As Zero wanted to shake Euphy's hand.
"Right!" As Euphy returned the gesture.
In the distance, two voices are heard near Zero and Euphy's position.
"Zero and Princess Euphemia spotted. Shall I release the drug?"
"Affirmative. Emperor's orders. ALL HAIL BRITANNIA!" As the drug's been released.
Suddenly, there's gas in the building as Euphy is in panic while Zero questioned,
"What is this? Poison gas?! No, it's different."
"Zero, why do I have the feeling that I should kill the Japanese?" Euphy wondered as the drug is now affecting her.
"What?! It's affecting you?! Why?!" As Zero is now in a mad panic.
"Apparently, my father didn't take it lightly and decided to ruin my dream. You were right all along, Zero. Britannia can't change." Euphy concluded as she's slowly succumbing to the effects of the drug.
"We have to do something! We can't let you go out there and start a massacre!" Zero exclaimed.
"Zero, please… help… me." Euphy slowly pleaded.
"What must I do, Your Highness?" Zero slowly asked.
"Please… end… my… suffering… and… kill… me." Euphy slowly commanded.
"I can't do that, Princess. If I kill you, your personal knight, Suzaku Kururugi, will surely hunt me down and Princess Cornelia would be furious. Is there no other way to save you?" As Zero slowly cried behind his mask.
"You're… a… good… person, Zero. I'm… sure… if… Lelouch… and… Nunnally… were… alive… right… now, they… would… be… happy… to… meet… you… and… become… your… friend. Maybe… in… my… next… life, if… I… got… another… chance… to… change… the… world… for… the… better, I… would… have… joined… the… Black… Knights… and… fight… for… justice." As Euphy is slowly losing control over herself.
"Princess… I understand. I shall obey your order. Please forgive me in advance." As Zero stopped crying and complied with the request.
"Thank… you, Zero. I… have… no… regrets… in… my… decision. I'm… glad… that… we… met. Hopefully, Suzaku… will… forgive… me." Euphy slowly said.
"I'm sure he will. I'll make certain of it if I got the chance." As Zero is readying his gun with a sound of a click.
"Please, Zero! Hurry!" As Euphy used all of her last strength to utter these words.
When Zero is about to shoot her, he heard Princess Euphemia's words in a repeated manner.
"I must kill all the Japanese! I must kill all the Japanese! I must kill all the Japanese!" As Euphy grabbed Zero's gun by force and ran outside towards the stadium.
"Princess Euphemia! NO!" Zero screamed as he ran after her.
As the recording ended, all Japanese and Britannians in the vicinity have mixed emotions. Some of them are angry while the rest of them are crying for the sacrifice that Princess Euphemia made for Zero. At the same time, Suzaku was conflicted about what he just heard while Guilford is trying to hold on to his tears for Princess Cornelia's little sister. On the other hand, Prince Schneizel tried to control his emotions as he learned the truth behind the SAZ Massacre. After moments of sorrow and anger, Zero continued his speech with passion and courage.
"As all of you already heard, Britannia selfishly created a massacre just to blame me and the Black Knights for something we didn't commit! Here's the truth, I supported Princess Euphemia's actions for peace but the Emperor decided to destroy the SAZ on his orders! I never felt so betrayed as I used to believe that people like Princess Euphemia are considered as symbols of Britannia's hypocrisy, murderers cloaked in the flag of a nation. However, when I found this recording with the help of my co-leader, Destiny, I have realized that I was right about one thing: some Britannian royals wanted to change the system from within but can't do anything because of the Emperor and his philosophy! When I killed Prince Clovis back at Shinjuku Ghetto a month ago, I said this upon his death, You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty!"
Suzaku gritted his teeth when he heard those statements. Although he already knew that Zero killed Euphy through her orders, his hardheadedness won't let him forgive Zero for what he had done to him and his first love as his thoughts in his mind are screaming in anger, "I WON'T LET YOU CHANGE BRITANIA IN YOUR WAY! MY WAY IS BETTER AND I SHALL PROVE IT WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT!" As Zero's speech has reached its conclusion.
"Therefore, I solemnly swear, not just for the people of Japan but for the people of the world, that Emperor Charles and his Britannia will fall upon the ashes of history! To all individuals who wanted to change the world for the better, LEAVE JAPAN AND JOIN US! To the people who wanted to stay in the ghettos, I only request one favor from you, LIVE! Live not just for the sake of your families and comrades, but for the sake of survival! The United States of Japan may have died on this very day, but I promise you all, Japan will be FREE! I may be gone for now in defeat but I shall return! Until then, ENDURE the sufferings that Britannia will give you! Don't give up! Persevere and it shall reward you with good things! Therefore, as my last gift, Destiny shall play a powerful song that would stay in our hearts forever! Long Live the Black Knights! Nippon Banzai!"
With no time to lose, Destiny pulls out another device as he attached it to Lancelot's speakers for the people to hear as Zero's broadcast ended with a bang.

As the song ended, Prince Schneizel was intrigued that the Black Knights themselves have an anthem to put their hearts into, in comparison with Britannia's national song. At the same time, thousands of Japanese people chanted, "LONG LIVE THE BLACK KNIGHTS! NIPPON BANZAI!" while the Britannian soldiers inside their own Knightmares were outraged as they see the 'Elevens' have their hopes restored. On the other hand, Suzaku clenched his fists as he saw so many of his own countrymen supporting the Black Knights along with Zero and his new co-leader Destiny. Just then, Destiny declared in a loud voice with his Lancelot's speakers.
"Do you see the ultimate difference between Britannia and Japan?! Britannia is always divided, no matter how close they are in their own territory and how powerful their forces are! On the other hand, Japan is always united, even though we're far away from each other! Our forces may be diminished, but with passion, courage, and most of all, trust, we will live on as long as we have the pride of Japan in our hearts!"
In response, Prince Schneizel ordered his forces, "We stalled long enough! All squads, prepare to attack the Lancelot! Show Destiny our resolve as soldiers loyal to the crown! ALL HAIL BRITANNIA!"
"ALL HAIL BRITANNIA!" All Britannian soldiers chanted as they started preparing to charge at Destiny with their VTOL transport planes as Prince Schneizel plays the Britannian National Anthem using the speakers in the Avalon. At the same time, the Britannian populace began to sing as soon as they hear the song.

As the song ended, Destiny saw the Britannian forces coming to him desperately. When he saw this amazing sight, he challenged, "So, you are charging after me when your national song has ended, huh?! Well, let's see how loyal you really are to the Emperor! Come at me!" As the Sutherlands and Gloucesters' ranged weapons began to aim at his Lancelot as the VTOL transport planes came closer to his position.
"Charge!" The commander of the Britannian reinforcements yelled.
"Let's test my new system for size! Activate Stealth Mode!" As Destiny pressed his special button and remembers the moment that he installed it to his Lancelot.

Temporary Black Knights Knightmare Factory
"How's the Lancelot, Rakshata?" Zero questioned the head of the Black Knights' research and development team.
"I must say, the Earl of Pudding did a pretty good job on making this Knightmare. The Blaze Luminous that he created would not be so easy to fix. It's better if I could create a similar system for this as it will be the basis for the blueprints of your new Knightmare." As Rakshata analyzed the issues built on the Lancelot.
Just then, Destiny arrived at the scene as he said, "Perhaps, I could help?"
"Destiny!" Zero and Rakshata replied in unison as he continued,
"How about we put a temporary system on my Lancelot until you have found a new system to replace it?"
"That could work. Do you have anything in mind?" Rakshata asked.
"I have created a button that could work on any Knightmare. Unfortunately, I only have created one with the resources here. Amplified with my power, it has the ability to make Knightmares invisible to the enemy. I called it the 'Stealth Mode' System." Destiny informed Rakshata.
Surprised, Rakshata said, "If this 'Stealth Mode' System of yours works, do you mind giving me the blueprints for it? I would like to create it myself without using your power as the source. Oh, and before I forget, Zero told me everything about Geass and Codes, so rest easy. For the sake of my research, I won't tell anybody about it."
In shock, Destiny replied to his co-leader, "Zero, you sneaky fox. I never knew you would tell her yourself."
"I learned that from you, Destiny. Only reveal secrets for the sake of trust. Aren't those your words?" Zero asked.
"Close enough. As expected of my equal. Well, in that case, I would gladly give it to you, Rakshata." Destiny acknowledged as he looked back at the head of the Black Knights' research and development team.
"Thank you very much!" Rakshata said as she's dancing out of joy.
"If this 'Stealth Mode' System works, no doubt that our Black Knights' technology will improve a lot and our plans would be a lot easier to execute." Zero thought as he looked at Destiny in awe.

When Destiny activated the 'Stealth Mode' System, the Lancelot, including its weapons and Float System, suddenly disappeared in everybody's eyes, even the charging Britannian forces were in deep shock. With the challenge still in play, Destiny mocked,
"What's wrong?! Have you lost your will to fight when you don't see your enemy?! Weak! Like your Emperor Charles! After all, if the king does not lead, how can he expect his subordinates to follow?" As Destiny fired his VARIS rifle multiple times on the VTOL transport planes, making the Sutherlands and Gloucesters fall down near the Viceroy's Palace, except the commander as he shouted in anger.
"You terrorist! How dare you make a mockery of our Emperor?! Wait till I could see you!"
Back at the bridge of the Avalon, Prince Schneizel is feeling something that he had never felt before: FEAR as he saw his forces get destroyed one by one by the Lancelot, the same Lancelot which he put his funds on creating it back at Camelot. In a mad panic, he ordered, "FIND HIM IMMEDIATELY! WE CAN'T LET THIS UPSTART TO DEFEAT US! I WANT DESTINY'S HEAD ON A PIKE!"
"Yes, Your Highness!" All forces inside the Avalon complied with the order.
At the same time, Destiny, with the speed and power of the Lancelot and his Float System, is already at the back of the Avalon, as he searched for Nina Einstein.
"There she is." Destiny said as he found her in the research facility room and used his MVS to slice through as he deactivated the 'Stealth Mode' System. Apparently, that's the only part of the Avalon that isn't protected by the Blaze Luminous.
As he entered the room, Nina Einstein is panicking in terror as the Lancelot landed and opened its cockpit. Then, Destiny exited his cockpit and tried to convince her to flee with him.
"I'm sorry, Nina. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Destiny and I have come here under Princess Euphemia's orders."
"Princess Euphemia?! But she is dead, killed by Zero! My Goddess is gone because of him!" Nina screamed at Destiny with anger written on her face.
"You must have heard my recording. Then, heed my words carefully, (as Destiny walked beside her and whispered into her ear) Princess Euphemia is not dead." Destiny insisted.
"Why should I believe you?!" Nina questioned as she's crying with all of her heart.
And Destiny replied, "Because I'm the one who saved her. If you want to see your beloved Goddess, come with me. Euphy is waiting and she missed you, Nina." As Destiny reached his hand as part of an invitation as the future scientist calmed down and said,
"If what you said is true, Destiny, then, I'll come with you." As Nina accepted the request.
"Thank you, Nina. Now, let's go before Prince Schneizel finds out where I am." Destiny said.
"Right!" Nina complied as she stopped crying and entered the Lancelot along with Destiny.
Suddenly, Britannian soldiers barged into the room as they said,
"HALT!"
"STOP HIM!"
"DON'T LET HIM GET AWAY!"
Inside the Lancelot, Destiny is about to take off. On the other hand, Nina is shaking in fear at the back but the Black Knights' co-leader reassured her about her safety.
"It's all right. Princess Euphemia wanted you to be brave for her. Can you do that, Nina?"
"Okay, Destiny. I'll try." Nina simply replied as she stopped shaking.
"Alright! Lancelot… M.E. Boost!" Destiny declared as the Lancelot is launching out of the Avalon. As he went out, he also declared as he pressed the special button, "Activate Stealth Mode!" As the Lancelot disappeared into view again, confusing the Britannian forces into total disarray.
Then, Destiny contacted Zero using his earpiece in order to inform him of his success.
"Zero, Nina Einstein has been secured and the package has been delivered. Now proceeding to Evacuation Route Alpha. Do you copy, over?"
"Copy that, Destiny. As expected of my calculations, the Britannian forces were so focused on you that they didn't notice that the Black Knights are already in Europe. We have already found the perfect location for our base, Italy."
"Italy?! That's almost near the E.U. capital! Let me guess, C.C. chose the place?"
"Her obsession for pizza knows no bounds. You know I have to give in. Trust me, Destiny."
"Alright. As long as we won't get caught, that's fine. Anyways, did you see the footage?"
"I did. Honestly, your stealth technology works like a charm and it looks like your energy filler is still at 75% after all that battling. Looks like your experiment is a success. I'll inform Rakshata about your progress as she is now implementing your technology to our transport aircraft. Stay safe, Destiny. Zero, over and out!"
"Then, I'll see you in Italy, Zero. Oh, and give Euphy my regards." As Destiny ended the connection as Nina smiled, knowing that her Goddess is still alive. With happiness written on her face, she replied,
"Thank you, Destiny! Those words are enough to tell me that Princess Euphemia is still alive!"
"You're welcome, Nina. Let's go! Let's not keep her waiting." Destiny said.
"Right!" Nina simply responded.
Before he left Japan for good, the Black Knights' co-leader, still hidden from view to the Britannian forces, gave one last message with his Knightmare speakers on to the Britannian populace, to the Japanese people, and to Emperor Charles as he saw the carnage his Lancelot had caused.
"You poor, misguided souls of Britannia, don't you realize how ironic this Area is to others? Area 11 was named after the death of the Eleventh Prince of the Holy Britannian Empire, Lelouch vi Britannia, which is caused by the Emperor of Britannia himself, Charles zi Britannia. Seriously, how low can your Emperor get before he could finally achieve what he wanted for this world?! A world where people can only focus on the past, with no ambition and no hope for the future?! Now, that's a fantasy, even worse than the plans of the ultimate traitor of Japan itself, Suzaku Kururugi. I may not know of your ultimate plan, Emperor Charles, but I can assure you that it won't benefit humanity itself, thus, it won't succeed in the long run. We of the Black Knights will ensure that the hopes and dreams of the Japanese people and the rest of the world will continue to flourish until your beloved Britannia burns to the ground! Even though we shall disappear, for now, I assure you all to the people of Japan that your sacrifices will not be in vain. And for that, I bid you adieu, for this will be the last time that you will see the Black Knights here on Area 11. Farewell, my beloved Japanese, for I shall declare that a year from now, on this very month, Japan will become a FREE NATION! Long Live the Black Knights! Nippon Banzai!"
At the same time, the Japanese people in the Tokyo Settlement cheered for the last time as the saviors of their beloved nation decided to leave them in order to survive but nevertheless, they never lost their hope as they responded with their hands up high for Destiny, Nina, and the Britannian forces to see, "LONG LIVE THE BLACK KNIGHTS! NIPPON BANZAI!"
With that settled, Destiny finally left Japan so that his plans of a gentle world, along with Zero, Euphy, and the rest of the Black Knights, can finally begin as he looked at Nina at the back for a short time, making the future scientist blush for a bit before Destiny finally set course for the Black Knights' new secret base at Italy.
Back at the Avalon, Prince Schneizel was furious to see that not only his forces were decimated but the fact that Nina Einstein escaped along with Destiny makes him want to punch a random Britannian soldier in order to vent his rage. In an instant, he called upon his subordinate, Kanon Maldini, in order to deliver a message to Emperor Charles.
"Kanon, contact His Majesty. It's time to give him his worst news yet."
"Yes, Your Highness!" As Kanon complied with the order.

"V.V., what's the meaning of this?!" Charles said in anger as he'd just received the report by Prince Schneizel through his Knight of One, Bismarck Waldstein.
"I can explain…" V.V. replied, knowing fully that the mess made in Area 11 is his fault.
"You fool! I told you before to leave my children alone! What the hell's wrong with you?! Because of your actions, the anomaly decided to join my son in retaliation for what you did to my daughter Nunnally! Not only that, but C.C. is also now against us after that same anomaly convinced her to abandon our grand plan!" With anger written on his face, Charles wanted to punch his older brother for his incompetence.
"I'm sure that my Geass Order could do something to stop Lelouch and the anomaly itself…" As V.V. tried to convince Charles to let him take care of his own problems.
"NO! My decision is final! You won't do such a thing! As the Emperor of Britannia, I command you to stop interfering with this world's affairs ever again unless if it involves the Ragnarök Connection, is that clear, V.V.?!" Charles said his orders in a loud voice filled with anger and disappointment to his older brother.
"Yes, Your… Majesty…" As V.V. complied with the order in defeat as he leaves the room in shame as the Knight of One has just arrived in order to relay His Majesty's orders.
"What of Area 11 and the E.U., Your Majesty?" Bismarck simply asked.
"Duke Calares will be the new viceroy of Area 11 after Cornelia's sudden disappearance as I will order Schneizel back to the Mainland in order to continue his duties. As for the war with the E.U., one month from now, send the Knight of Nine and the Knight of Twelve to Euro Britannia in order to continue this mundane affair. Also, send that MAN in order to finish that war for good." Charles ordered as he calms down.
"That MAN, Your Majesty?" Bismarck questioned.
"Yes. Besides, it's time to show the E.U. how that MAN can do on the battlefield. I'm sure his loyalty wouldn't be wasted there as he leads our forces. Go now, Knight of One. You have now your orders. Execute them. ALL HAIL BRITANNIA!" Charles declared.
"ALL HAIL BRITANNIA!" Bismarck followed suit as he left the Sword of Akasha when Charles silently declared,
"Lelouch and Destiny, I accept your challenge. Let's see how long you last against the might of my Britannia."

Black Knights Secret Base
Many things have happened since that beloved day. Through Destiny's stealth technology, along with the help of the Black Knights' research and development team leaders, Rakshata Chawla and Nina Einstein, the Black Knights Secret Base has been hidden from the rest of the world, waiting for the right moment to strike. Since then, the Black Knights are focusing on Knightmare Training, as they are guided by Toudoh and the Four Holy Swords. The rookies, Euphy, Shirley, Rivalz, and Milly are now formally chosen by Destiny as part of his personal squad, the Destiny Squad. At the same time, Ohgi and the rest of the former resistance members are now focused on minor operations, such as delivering supplies to the base and training new recruits, as they are officially pardoned by Zero himself. As most of the Black Knights were doing their usual duties, Destiny was looking at his own surroundings as he plans his next move.
"Looks like things are going well in our base. I'm glad that Rakshata and Nina managed to create cloaking devices, which were reverse-engineered from my 'Stealth Mode' System two weeks ago without using my Code as a source. I guess that Sakuradite can do anything when used correctly. Best of all, my Lancelot's Blaze Luminous just got repaired, along with a boost from the data gathered by Nina during her short stay at the Avalon. Overall, the Black Knights are now ready to take on Euro Britannia, even without the help of the E.U. and its forces. But first, I, along with Destiny Squad, need to go somewhere as I'm just about to ask Zero about it so that on the way, I could also test our flagship, Ikaruga on the frontlines." Destiny thought.
Just then, Lelouch, disguised as Zero, along with Euphy, Shirley, Rivalz, and Milly has just arrived from Knightmare training. Knowing that it's the right time, Destiny said,
"Just in time, Zero. Is the Ikaruga ready for deployment?"
"According to Rakshata and Nina, our flagship is ready to go anytime. What's the emergency?" Zero replied.
"I propose that we should go to Narva, along with my personal squad," Destiny said.
"You need us, Destiny?" Shirley, Rivalz, and Milly said in unison.
"What seems to be the problem there?" Euphy asked.
"Apparently, I have been intercepting transmissions and I have found out that the E.U. forces are about to retreat from Sankt Petersburg after being taken by Euro Britannian forces. It seems that there's a Japanese squad there staying behind in order to cover the retreat. Unfortunately, after intercepting a radio transmission, I was shocked to hear that the Knightmares used by the Japanese squad are set to self-destruct." Destiny said.
In shock, Zero argued, "Those E.U. bastards!"
"That's cruel!" Euphy commented.
"How could they do that to their own soldiers?!" Shirley said as Rivalz and Milly clenched their fists, knowing that it's very wrong.
"I understand. Deploy the Ikaruga and load the Knightmares! The Black Knights are now back in action!" Zero commanded in a loud voice.
"Yes, sir!" All Black Knights in the base complied with the order. Through Zero's orders, the Black Knights, along with Zero Squad and Destiny Squad, are now making the preparations for departure.
"Thank you, Zero. You really are a nice person." Destiny said.
"Ever since you brought Euphy back to me, Destiny, I have changed my ways. But one thing has not changed and that is how I treat my enemies. After all, the only ones who should kill, are those who are prepared to be killed." Zero declared.
"Zero…" As Euphy was touched by his brother's feelings.
"You're right, Zero. Oh, and one more thing. I believe that this will be our first battle in Europe, right?" Destiny asked.
"Yes. And this time, we will be victorious. With our technology, our plans will be easier to execute." Zero said.
"Just remember, my fellow co-leader, technology alone will not defeat our enemies. Even Britannia knows that simple detail." Destiny reminded.
"Right, sorry. I got a little bit carried away there." Zero chuckled.
"No worries, my friend. And by the way, don't worry about Euphy. I'll make sure that she's safe. Even I already know that my partner is now ready for Knightmare combat, anything unexpected could happen in a battle." Destiny reassured Zero.
"I'm counting on you," Zero said.
"And you shall get it, Zero. For your sister Nunnally." Destiny replied.
"For Nunnally." Zero silently declared.
Just as Zero said his silent declaration, Kallen, the captain of the Zero Squad, is now informing her leaders that the flagship Ikaruga is now ready for take-off.
"Zero, Destiny, our forces are now assembled and already waiting for your orders."
"Thank you. Go ahead and board our flagship, Kallen. I'll be there shortly." Zero said.
"Yeah!" Kallen said with happiness written on her face as Euphy instinctively followed her brother's orders and enter the flagship along with Kallen.
"Kallen seems to be more energetic today. Did you have a date with her? C.C. would be jealous." Destiny said amusedly.
"W-What?! Of course not! It's your imagination!" Zero declined as Destiny laughed.
Just then, C.C. came closer to Zero undetected and said, "Is that true, my warlock? Did you really have a date with someone other than me?!" As she's showing fake tears. But with all of his heart, Zero said to C.C.,
"What are you talking about, C.C.? Cera… don't ever think that I would replace you with someone else. My Witch, without you, I would never become the man that I was meant to be. Without you, I'll be very sad and lonely just like when you felt that you are always alone all the time. Cera… I love you just the way you are as I also felt the same way with Kallen… but always remember that I could share my heart with the two of you for as long as I live."
With her warlock's declaration, C.C. smiled as she replied silently, "Oh, Lelouch… You really are evil."
"Well, without my Witch, how could I become a better Demon?!" Zero asked.
"You're right. I'm glad that I met you back at Shinjuku Ghetto two months ago. If you weren't there at the time, I would never have the chance to meet you and would still be trapped at that prison, and at the same time, I would still be trapped in an endless cycle of pain and suffering." C.C. said.
"Well, I'm glad that I'm the one who rescued you at that time, Cera…" Zero replied as C.C. hugged her warlock with all of her regained emotions.
"Oh, so romantic! I wish that I could do the same with Euphy…" Destiny commented.
"Normally, I wouldn't allow it, but since you're the one who brought my half-sister back, I will make an exception." Zero replied.
"Really?! That's music to my ears, Zero. Someday, I would let you all see my true face when the right time comes, especially to my partner." Destiny said.
"And we will look forward to it, Destiny." Zero replied as C.C. nodded in agreement.
"Still, I would like to see the two of you kissing in front of Kallen, if you are willing, that is," Destiny said amusedly.
"Destiny, you know that's supposed to be in private, right?!" As C.C. blushed at Destiny's statement.
"As I have stated time and time again, you're just like my Witch, Destiny!" Zero reminded in anger.
"Yes, I know that. Anyways, shall we start our conquest?" Destiny asked.
"Yeah! Black Knights! Set course for Narva!" Zero commanded as he and his Witch calmed down.
"UNDERSTOOD! LONG LIVE THE BLACK KNIGHTS! NIPPON BANZAI!" All Black Knights declared, along with Euphy, Kallen, C.C., and the rest of the Zero Squad and Destiny Squad as their flagship, Ikaruga lifts off when Destiny and Zero are already in their designated seats.
"Activate Stealth Mode!" Destiny commanded.
"Understood! Activating Stealth Mode!" Ohgi declared as he's now the deputy captain for this mission as the Ikaruga is now invisible to enemy forces.
"If Rakshata's calculations are correct, at full speed, the Ikaruga will reach Narva in 3 hours." Destiny thought.
"Full speed ahead! We got no time to lose. Those Japanese soldiers are counting on us, even if they don't know about us yet." Destiny commanded.
"Aye-aye!" As Ohgi complied with the order as he sets the Ikaruga's engines in full speed.

W-0 Squad Mobile Headquarters
While the Black Knights are almost at their destination, Commander Anou of the Special E.U. Squad, the wZERO Squad, is not very happy about what's happening in the battle. His action of allowing self-destruct systems onto the Alexanders with the justification being that the culture of 'Elevens' is a suicidal race, just made the mission even harder to execute.
"Frame 8, self-destruct confirmed! Two enemy Knightmares destroyed!"
"Only two?!" Anou shouted in disbelief. Then, he ordered,
"Don't back down! Make them advance! Get in there and latch into the enemy!"
Just then, Major Leila Malcal reported, "Commander Anou, it's now 40 minutes until the 132nd Regiment begins their withdrawal."
"I'm well aware of that, Staff Officer Malcal! What's going on here?! Why are there more enemy frames than you estimated?!" Anou exclaimed.
"Even in surprise attacks, if more than an hour's mission time elapsed, it's inevitable that the theater operations will be pinpointed," Leila said.
"Spare me your excuses! Or is it that this plan was flawed all along?!" Anou replied in anger.
"It was you who made last-minute alterations to the plan, Commander Anou." Leila reminded.
Anou gulped as he replied back, "You don't approve of me adding self-destruct devices to the Alexanders?!"
"A plan that depletes one's own forces, tactically speaking, is cowardice," Leila concluded.
Then, Anou said with conviction, "It's only 'Elevens' that are dying. They don't need your naive humanism. Come, surely, you've heard of this. These 'Elevens' are the descendants of a race of people who have always loved to die in acts they called seppuku and kamikaze! What could possibly be wrong with making them take part in a suicide operation?!"
Just then, an unknown voice was heard on their radio. It responded,
"Your stupidity."
Everyone, including Leila and Anou, in the wZERO Headquarters, was surprised to hear the unknown voice in their transmission. As such, Anou questioned the unknown voice in anger,
"Who are you?! How did you get this transmission?!"
"As if I could say that to a moron like you, who did nothing but to bully the 'Elevens', or rather the Japanese! For that, I can't allow it to continue!"
In response, Anou challenged, "Oh yeah?! Well, too bad for you, you're not even here in the first place!"
"Well then, here's a reality check for you! Your forces are surrounded, the Euro Britannian forces are on the way to destroy your precious 'Ghost of Hannibal', and finally, no one is now supporting you. So, tell me now, 'Commander'. How will you explain your failure to your corrupt politicians back at your capital?!"
But Anou continued to rant and said to the unknown voice, "I don't care if the 'Elevens' will take the blame for this operation! It was their plan anyway!"
"Well, in that case, I guess I should ask your Major about this situation then, coward!"
As the unknown voice said that, Anou was now filled in rage as he pulls out his gun and points it at Leila but the same voice already knew what's going to happen as he warned through the transmission,
"I know what you are about to do. You don't have what it takes to become a commander of your squad, unlike me. So, stand down, soldier, or I shall send this conversation to the capital and let them decide your fate. Choose wisely, and I shall let you escape with your dignity intact."
Gritting his teeth, Anou decided to lower his gun, knowing that it is futile. Then, Leila decided to join the conversation as she said,
"I thank you for that. But just like what my commander said, who are you?!"
With respect, the unknown voice replied, "Since you kindly asked, I shall tell you... I am Zero, co-leader of the Black Knights."
In shock, Leila replied, "Zero?! The Black Knights?! I thought that group is still in Japan!"
"That was over a month ago. We fled from Japan in order to train my forces for the sake of a gentle world. But seeing how the Japanese people were treated in the E.U. army, I'm not surprised to see how similar the E.U. is to Britannia itself." Zero concluded.
"I see." Leila simply replied.
"Anyways, as we speak, my forces are on the way to the battlefield now despite the stupidity made by your 'Commander'," Zero said as Anou replied in anger,
"Damn you! Just because you care for these 'Elevens', it doesn't mean that you also care for the world!"
"Excuse me?! I'm not the one on a pinch here, 'Commander'. Anyways, will you accept my help?" Zero asked.
With her authority, Leila declared, "I will grant you permission, Zero. I shall take full responsibility."
Surprised, Anou shouted, "WHAT?! Do you dare to ask help from a terrorist?! That's treason!"
In response, Leila bluntly said, "You know what they say, Commander Anou, the enemy of my enemy is my friend."
"But…" Anou uttered before Leila interrupted him, "Stand down, Commander. I'm now applying for Emergency Appointment #305! Lt. Col. Claus!"
"Right you are… Deputy Commander Claus acknowledges the change of command… It's all yours, Commander Malcal!" Claus said as Anou is now being detained by fellow E.U. soldiers.
"Thank you, Major. It seems that I have found a future commander in your ranks based on your voice. Since I told you who I am, would you mind telling me yours?" Zero asked.
"My apologies, Zero. I am Major Leila Malcal, Staff Officer, and now, the Commander of the Special E.U. Squad, the wZERO Squad." Leila replied.
"The wZERO Squad?! Oh my, it seems that I was part of your inspiration while you created this squad. I am honored." Zero said in awe.
"Thank you, Zero. Shall we get started?" Leila said with happiness written on her face.
"Yes! Black Knights, prepare for battle!" Zero commanded as Leila also issued her orders.
"Change of plans! Cooperate with Zero and the Black Knights and disengage all Alexander self-destruct devices! Capt. Clement!"
"Y-yes, ma'am!" Anna complied with the order as she's now redirecting orders.
"Chloe! Hilda! Send emergency texts to all frames!"
"Looks like our boss is feeling her oats," Hilda commented.
"Good for her. Hopefully, this Zero will keep his end of the bargain." Chloe said.
"I could hear you; you know. Don't worry, I'm not a cruel person… only to allies, that is." Zero replied back as he laughed while Chloe was surprised by the comment made by the Black Knights' co-leader.
"Zero, don't tease my comrades! Anyway, I heard through stories about your exploits back in Japan. The Battle of Narita; that's one of my favorites!" Leila commented.
"Although I sometimes regret that some civilians were caught in the landslide that I made, it still counts as one of the Black Knights' first battles," Zero said.
"I never thought about that. Sorry." Leila replied.
"It's alright. It gave rise to many challenges but my Black Knights live on and persevered!" Zero declared.
"You got a good point. Anyway, shall we take the fight to the enemy?!" Leila asked.
"Yes, Commander Malcal. Now then, let's start this game now, shall we?!" Zero proclaimed as the Black Knights are now prepared to launch.

Spoiler Alert: The Knights of the Round, specifically the Knight of Nine and the Knight of Twelve, will appear in the next chapter along with that MAN that Emperor Charles was talking about. Above all, there will be a secret meeting between the Black Knights and the wZERO Squad, all without the authorization of the E.U. itself. Will Leila, along with the members of the wZERO Squad, join the Black Knights? And will Euro Britannia stop the Black Knights for good?!
