anyway, back on topic hope you enjoy

Hell, Hazbin Hotel (still first person for now still not sure if I'll change it)

It'd been a week since I arrived at the Hotel and I was still adjusting to everything that had happened. The first night I had taken my helmet off in my room only for mirror in my bathroom to shatter when I tried to look past the black mist enveloping my head. Seems my own face doesn't want to be seen, even by myself. That was also the time I met Nifty properly, the tiny little cyclops like demon reminded me of someone I knew from the human world, always spoke really fast barely giving people time to register what she had said. Still she settled once I assured her the short fur on my legs didn't contain fleas of any kind and we got along fairly okay.

Husk had been the second one I talked to properly, somehow the gambling cat had never heard of someone who came to hell and hadn't ever had alcohol during their life. As grumpy as he was all the time he did sometimes try to get me to have a drink with him since I didn't have much to do other than sit at his bar and wander the hotel. Angel often sat with us, making no end of sexual jokes and innuendos at both of us, which to everyone's amusement often ended up with us telling him to fuck off.

Charlie was a strange one. She was the princess of hell, and yet everyone outside the hotel seemed to look down on her and yet she was determined to help sorry sacks of shit like myself try to get somewhere better, but I had my own problems with this. If Heaven was such a "holy" place full of joy and whatever, why were some joys considered sins? I'd argue, calmly, with her about it and neither of us could ever come to a conclusion about the matter. She wasn't what I expected from a princess but then again I never expected to end up anywhere after I died so here we are.

Vaggie was always within eyesight of Charlie as well. At first I didn't notice it but as mine and Charlie's little discussions carried on I noticed her presence more and, rather foolishly, I asked Angel about it.

"Oh she's just makin' sure ya don't steal her princess away from her!"

To which the spider had a knife thrown at him from Vaggie as she walked over and pulled me aside and told me that she had been Charlie's friend for a long time and had been helping her almost every step so far with the hotel. She told me she was making sure I wasn't here to break her ideal's down and destroy the hotel. I was confused at first as to why anyone would even attempt such a thing, until today that was. Today I'd been asked into the kitchen to help with the delivery of food and while unloading the truck a few imps started surrounding the area, each with a blunt weapon of some kind.

"...Can I help you?" I asked while looking around at them all. I had heard Imps were considered one of the lower beings in Hell but they wouldn't back down if numbers were on their side. One with a broken horn hissed a laugh as he stepped forward and pulled out a lighter.

"Yeah ya can actually, get lost!" The other's snickered while I simply raised an eyebrow. Imps were naturally smaller than most demons here, but with my new height the imp barely came up to my waist. I put down the box I was carrying as Nifty came to the door and saw what was happening, quickly leaving. That meant she went to get help and I needed to stall the imps.

"And if I don't?" I asked, the imps all scowling at me suddenly. The broken horn one sneered and spat at my feet as he ignited the lighter and waved it in his hand slightly.

"If ya don't? Well I reckon me and the boys will be eating roasted sinner then! Though from the looks of it ya ain't got much meat on your bones" The imp laughed and I sighed, my patience had worn thin at this point.

"So what's it gunno be square head? Ya gunno move or are we gunno make ya move?"

I let out a simple huff and, quite easily, gave a quick kick to his face and sending him flying across the alleyway causing a dent in the wall where he had impacted. The other imps looked back in shock before all turning to me and quickly leaping at me.

My body seemed to move on it's own as I dodged their attacks until one of them suddenly struck my helmet causing it to suddenly turn the top row so the colors didn't match. Something changed then and I felt something grow out of my back and grab the imp that had caused my helmet to change. Looking back I saw a black slimly tentacle of some kind wrapped around it's neck and giving a small test movement I smiled wildly as I used this new appendage to hurl the imp over the buildings and far away. An echoed laugh escaped my helmet as three more tentacles came out of my back and grabbed a few more of the imps, sending them to the same fate as the first I had flung off.

One of the last few imps suddenly jumped on my back and turned my helmet back causing the tentacles to change into a black substance and fall to the floor like water. I reached back and tried grabbing him causing him to fall and turn the top row the other direction. Once again I felt a change and my height suddenly changed and I looked down seeing my body had grown muscles that would make a professional bodybuilder jealous. A cry came from my mouth as one of the remaining imps stabbed my leg and simply swatting him away sent the imp flying away towards the dent where the first imp had been kicked to and completely tore through the wall.

Overjoyed with these powers I let out a howl and grabbed the remaining two imps and flung them at the hole in the wall, sending them both through three more walls. I couldn't help it and laughed outloud at how much fun I was having before static filled my ears and I felt my helmet change back to normal, but the static didn't go and I cried out in agony as I fell to the floor, grabbing the side of my helmet to try and block out the sound to no avail.

I desperately looked around for what was causing such a horrendous noise and I was scared shitless when I saw in the doorway to the kitchen a pair of floating radio dials above the most menacing grin I have ever seen. I couldn't see anything other than that face surrounded by a red darkness and odd scratched symbols floating in the air before it suddenly went black.

I jumped awake in my bed about an hour later, my helmet having been removed by someone. I quickly looked around my room and almost screamed as I saw the same grin again sat in a chair next to my bed. The grin belonged to another demon, one I hadn't seen yet. He was dressed in a red suit that looked like it was crushing his body more than anything else. His hair was interrupted by a pair of ears and a small pair of antlers.

"I'd stay down if I was you friend, you took quite a bit to calm down! More than most demons I meet nowadays! They don't make them like they used to!" He let out a chuckle to himself, oddly accompanied by a laugh track from somewhere.

"A pleasure to make your acquaintance, Alastor at your service!" He held his arms out as he bowed his head slightly. This guy really creeped me out. He had that aura about him that told you he wouldn't think twice about stabbing you, even though everything he said and did was the friendliest possible thing he could do. I held a hand to my head, grumbling as the mist tried to push my hand away.

"w-what happened back there?" I gripped my head as a migraine made itself known to my senses.

"Why it would seem that odd headpiece of yours contains powers for you to use my good fellow, one can only imagine the possibilities with how many combinations it seems to posses..." He stared at my helmet before blinking himself back to reality as I picked it up and put it on, the digital representations of my eyes appearing once again.

"my apologies for causing you to experience some of my own power, I simply thought you were the danger Nifty had come to warn us all about. It was only after you had fallen unconscious that the others told me you were our new arrival from a week ago! I myself have been rather busy with personal business so I haven't had the time to meet you in person" Again a small chuckle followed by a laugh track as he stood up.

"For now rest my friend, I'll have one of the girls bring you some food to get your strength back" He somehow pulled a cane out of thin air and started walking towards the door.

"Wait!"

"hm?" He stopped and looked over his shoulder at me, his upper eyelids drooping over his eyes.

"I... I didn't kill any of those imps did I?" I watched as his eyes widened slightly and he seemed to hesitate before answering.

"No, of course not... though they won't be leaving the hosptial anytime soon!" He left with a crowd applauding him before I could even ask him anything else and he closed my door. I had only asked because I hadn't ever taken a life before and even if it was down here in Hell I didn't really want to kill anyone. For now I would simply have to take his word for it.

I slowly lay back down and stared at the ceiling and sighed before wincing as the migraine started drilling into my head again.

"oh fuck off..."
