After a mad dash, Marinette ended up in the classroom. Lila was sitting in HER seat, looking as smug as the cat that got the cream. "I'm sorry, Marinette, but my hearing was acting up again." Marinette brushed past her on the way to the seat at the back(yet again).
"Marinette, glad to see you're finally here." Miss Mendeleiev snapped. "And you will serve detention after school." Just her luck.
"Yes, Miss Mendeleiev." And to top it all off, she was taking a quiz she hadn't even studied for!

Marinette sat on a bench, all alone, watching her clssmates and so-called friends crowd around that poisonous snake, Lila. Don't they realise she's lying? How could they be so stupid? And Alya always said she would be on my side whatever happened...
"Hi, Marinette." Broken out of her haze, Marinette looked up in the bright green eyes of none other then Adrien Agreste.
"BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!" she screamed, and promptly fell of her seat onto the hard concrete."OW!"
"I'm sorry for startling you, Marinette," said Adrien, smiling at her gently. Oh, dahm, that smile! She couln't resist him, he was just so irresistible...and gorgeous...
"Marinette?" she started and looked at him. "May I sit next to you?"
"No! I mean, go away! Errr...go ahead!" she finally managed to stammer out. After sitting in silence for a while, Adrien spoke.
"I had a strange dream last night. There was a woman talking to me, telling me and you not to worry. What do you think?"
Just as Marinette was about to answer, Alya came rushing towards them." Guys, guys! I got a huge scoop!" she said excitedly. "Lila just told me that Chat Noir beat Ladybug up after she rejected him! Hmm...I think this will be called Ladybug forced to date Chat Noir!"
Next to her, Adrien made a strangled noise in his throat and excused himself to go to the bathroom. When Alya finally left, Marinette was literally boiling over with rage. How dare she try and ruin her partner's reputation! Lila's hate for Ladybug was stronger than she thought.
