As the king and queen left, "Ummm...your highness" said Fredrick as he tapped Hugo's shoulder and holding out a quill pen and a long list of king jobs. Hugo started feeling nervous! 'what am I gonna do? Having the whole kingdom in my control! I need some help!'
"ah! right, umm...can I send a letter to a friend, Fredrick?" Hugo asked still not sure to rule the kingdom.
"Sure, your highness! who would you like to send it to?" asked Fredrick still waiting for Hugo's answer.
"I'd like to send the letter to princess Sofia of Enchancia" said Hugo trying to sound firm and demanding as a real king!
"Yes, your majesty. I shall get the papers and quills ready" said Fredrick, and respectfully bowed as prince Hugo...no, King Hugo made it into the castle.
The letter was written elegantly in calligraphy, by the best writer in the kingdom. And was sent through the fastest mode of transport, through a flying horse carriage!
Breakfast time in the castle of Enchancia:
"Another peaceful morning, I must say!" said king Roland as he sat comfortably on his dining chair.
"Not for long, when we have to attend a get together at king Magnus' place" said Queen Miranda, trying not to ruin the king's mood.
"aghh...should we attend that boring get together!?" said king Roland showing utter distaste to King Magnus' boasting.
"We sure need to!" said Miranda.
Suddenly Baileywick spoke up " Your majesties, we have received a letter from the king of Albingoria"
"That is a fancy letter" said Amber in an awe. "It should be since it is a letter from the king" said Sofia, showing that it's obvious -_-
" Read the letter Baileywick" said king Roland.
(Baileywick reads the following)
Princess Sofia,
I'd like to invite you to my palace as a royal guest for today, Since I need help to rule my kingdom. I agree to provide you all the facilities you need to arrive at my kingdom. I shall be waiting for a reply from you.
- King Hugo for a day of Albingoria
"That's the last word written, your highness" said Baileywick as he held the letter downward and faced the royal family.
"So I need to go to Albingoria?" said Sofia.
"It seems like you should, you need to write a reply before you head to Albingoria" Said king Roland, as he turned to his stepdaughter and waiting for her reply.
"Maybe, I should" said Sofia.
"Should I ask a writer to write a letter Princess Sofia?"said Baileywick waiting for the Princess' reply.
"No, thanks Baileywick, I shall write the letter myself" said Sofia, standing up and heading towards her room.
"I shall get the papers and quills ready for you" said Baileywick turning away.
After that King Roland held out his apple to munch it up, until Queen Miranda interrupted,
"Ahem... 'get together' remember?"
"Ugh! If you insist" said the King and trudged towards the carriage.
"What about your Royal duties?" said Queen Miranda with a question mark on her face.
"Aaaah! I didn't think about that... BAILEYWICK" he shouted so that the butler could hear. Suddenly Baileywick popped out from no where!
"Yes, Your highness?" said Baileywick. "Can you take care of my royal duties today, Baileywick?" said king Roland looking intently at the butler.
"Sure your highness" said Baileywick.
Meanwhile in Sofia's room, Sofia was writing her letter.
(Her letter below)
Prince Hugo,
I'm most honored to receive your letter! I will help you to rule your kingdom for today.
Yours truly
Princess Sofia.
"Now I just need to send it, I'll ask Baileywick" said Sofia and walked out of her room to find the butler. As she was walking downstairs Suzette came in front of her and said "princess Sofia, your friends from the village are here to see you"
"Tell them I shall see them in a moment" said Sofia and walked down stairs.
She soon found Baileywick and with him were Ruby and Jade.
"SOFIA!" they both shouted. "RUBY, JADE!" and so did Sofia replied with a shout.
She then turned to baileywick "can you send this letter to the king...no I mean prince of Albingoria and get a flying horse carriage ready?" she asked.
"Most certainly" said Baileywick and turned away.
"where are you going Sofia?" asked Jade. "Just a little help I need to give to a friend of mine" said Sofia and suddenly an Idea popped up in her mind, "I know, you could come with me. I'm sure Hugo would love to see you"
"Hugo? who's he?" asked Ruby "Crown prince of Albingoria. He's one of my closest friends" said Sofia giving a reply to Ruby.
"Then, what are we waiting for let's get going" said Jade. "Yeah! Let's go" said Ruby.
"If you are ready I'm ready" said Sofia and they all headed towards the carriage
