Chapter 1: Five Mysterious Figures

The City of Townsville; and what a hot summer day it is. Yep, just a hot summer day in the city of Townsville! Many people are taking their families out to their favorite places to spend the day away. Oh I wish I could be doing that instead of narrating for these scenes... but that's beside the point. School is out, breaks are being taken, children are having fun with their families; heck, even some villains are taking some time off to take advantage of this great day. Speaking of villains... so are the city's heroes; the Powerpuff girls! Taking in rays, surfing the waves, even giving jet skiing a try. They're having as much fun as anyone else. Bubbles was taking her time with a sand castle, Blossom was just relaxing; watching everyone having their fun while she takes time off from the hero biz; and Buttercup was trying out the jet skiing I mentioned earlier; she got the hang of it pretty fast too. She needn't worry about falling off, the metal plating on her robotic arm was waterproof, the Professor made sure it wouldn't short circuit the moment water struck it. Yes, it was the perfect summer day indeed.

*Cut to the empty void that was once HIM's lair*

*Five shadows appear out of thin air* "Is this the place?" One of them asked; it was unclear which one did however.

"Must be. We never get our locations wrong; so it must be." Another stated.

"Where's the one who called us here then? Wait, there's a note here." A figure with pointed blue legs pointed out.

"Well; read it then!" The second voice asked.

"*Clears throat*, If you are reading this, chances are I'm gone already, but you five will surely be more than capable enough of destroying my enemies no? If you are, I'm glad I got in touch with you between dimensions; now the three heroes you are searching for look like this *there is a picture of the Powerpuff Girls attached to the note* you will find these three, and defeat them. Do whatever you possibly can to lure them out if they find out about you. Cause trouble, create natural hazards, I don't care if you plunge the world into eternal darkness, DO SOMETHING! That is all~. ~His Infernal Majesty. And it ends there." The figure stated.

"Alright. Elementalist group meeting now!" A figure in a purple robe said. This figure was slightly taller than the rest, it had a third eye on its forehead, dark wings, and feet that looked like snake heads. Clearly their leader. "We've been given orders by this person, whoever they may be, to end the life of those three that are good. We've had the joy of defeating a specific hero in our universe (A/N: More on that soon; but not now) so surely these three shouldn't be much of a threat. Besides; they are just children."

"We'll do our best master." All four other voices said.

"Perfect... we shall begin... momentarily."

*Zoom in on the eyes; then cuts back to the beach area.*

"Hey Bloss! You gotta try out the jet ski! I don't I've ever had this much fun before!" Bubbles shouted to her sister; who was suddenly sleeping. "Uh... Blossom?" Nothing. "Blossom?" Still nothing. "BLOSSOM!" Her sister jumped in fright.

"What's the problem May-" *lifts sunglasses* "-oh. Was I sleeping?" She asked her sister.

"Yes you were. I was wondering if you'd like to try the jet ski?" Bubbles offered.

"Oh. Sure; it's always been something I've wanted to do." *Screen transition, Blossom is on the jet ski* "Wait a minute, are you sure we're at the appropriate age to be riding these things?" Blossom asked.

"I mean, they let me use it. So I'm sure you could." Bubbles responded.

"Well if you're so sure about this, then ok." She started up the jet ski and didn't prepare herself enough; because the force of the start-up made her lunge forward slightly. "I don't think I'm ready for this..."

"Don't say that! Of course you're ready; you're just learning from a beginner." Bubbles reassured her.

"Alright. But if I fly off this jet ski because of something happening, I'm blaming you. Got it?" Blossom told her sister.

"Why me!?" Bubbles retorted.

"Relax I was just kidding." *Looks off into the distance* "Hey, you ever realize those clouds are looking kinda grey?" Blossom asked.

"Yeah... I noticed that too." Buttercup mysteriously butted in to say.

"Where'd you come from?" Bubbles asked.

"The cauldron back at Town Hall. Where do you think I was? I was flying away from a tidal wave!" Buttercup sarcastically replied.

"Tidal wave? There wasn't any mentions of those earlier; so why would there be one now?" Blossom asked herself. The ground started shaking just then. "Uh... earthquake!?" She asked.

"Can't be; it's not strong enough." Buttercup told her. "It's more like a light tremor."

"Girls. People are being sucked into whirlpools!" Bubbles pointed out.

"We gotta save them!" Blossom told her sisters as they flew off to save anyone who just happened to have been caught in a sudden whirlpool. "Don't worry; you're safe now." She told the rescued citizen. "What happened?"

"I don't know! These violent whirlpools just suddenly formed out of nowhere! That's the last time I watch the weather channel!" The man said.

"Leave now. Me and my sisters need to evacuate everyone; something is happening and it's not normal!" She told the scared citizen. He did as instructed; then Blossom proceeded to tell everyone else to leave.

"Okay that should be everyone." Buttercup said.

"But who's causing this?" Bubbles asked.

"The answer you so desperately search for... is above you!" A voice called out. The girls looked up to see five mysterious figures glaring at them from in front of a vortex. "We have orders to be following, those orders just happen to be eradicating you three!"

"Who are they? Hey! Who are you!?" Blossom asked them.

"We are the Elementalists!" All five of them landed on the ground to greet their enemies. "And I'm the leader... you may call me Apoco; Elementalist of darkness!" (Name is a shortened term for apocalypse).

"So, who are your friends there?" Buttercup asked.

"Them? Not friends; siblings." Apoco then introduced each one; one by one. (A/N: I'll explain the names) "This one here stomps the ground with the power of earth, no arms needed. His name is... Rocko!" (Rocks, his name is 'rock'o). "This next one is of the water element, she doesn't mess around; and like me, is willing to get a job done. Her name is... Hydris!" (Play on hydro and mistress). "Get over here! Sorry about that, she's shy when it comes to those unfamiliar to her; but all about fire, pyrotechnics is her game, Burntha is her name." (Play on burn and Bertha). "Our last one is a true shocker; you could say he's- do I really have to say this?" He asked the last sibling. They nodded. "Alright fine; *clears throat* you could say he's a buzzkill, I can't do this! His name is Voltor, alright!? He's the electric Elementalist!" (Volt, like a volt of electricity). "Well; now that we've introduced ourselves, what about you three? Surely they aren't Power, Puff, and Girl." Apoco harmlessly joked.

"First of all, no they aren't. Secondly, my name is Blossom, this is Bubbles, and that's Buttercup. Thirdly, why'd you have to be so extravagant with your introductions?" Blossom stated and asked.

"We like making an entrance. Is that a problem?" Rocko asked.

"Yeah. If you're a villain it is!" Buttercup replied.

"Now that's just cruel. Apoco, our leader; mind showing them how we do our job?" Voltor asked.

"Gladly..." Apoco slowly approached the girls, spread out his wings, and revealed his claw-like hands. "I think it's time I show you girls, the true meaning-" *teleports* "-OF FEAR!" He then slashed at the girls, missing completely.

"Don't get your hopes up children! This is our leader you're dealing with; it's impossible to win!" Hydris told them.

"We'll see Hydris. We'll see..." The girls then held up their arms in a guarding position. They had a plan.

"Cowering in fear? Well then what's the point in fighting?" This is not how the plan is actually supposed to go. "Alright these three are just allowing us to leave. So; why don't we begin?" Apoco asked his siblings.

"Sure!" They all said. Then they all flew off; apart from Apoco, who flew up towards the sky, he unleashed a pulse that instantly made it nighttime. A new volcano arose, instantly erupting. Tidal waves spawned, and water spouted from the ground below in the city. Thunderstorms appeared and lightning struck everything around it. Tremors turned into earthquakes, and earthquakes proceeded to rip the ground apart. Civilians were running in fear...

"This was not how the plan was supposed to go..." Blossom complained.

"Well... sh-" *TV screen static* (A/N: Buttercup was about to say shoot)

"It seems multiple natural disasters have arisen out here in Townsville! We advise you all to stay outside... the boundaries of Townsville. Now to the Mayor on this situation. *Static transition to the Mayor's office* Mr. Mayor; what is your opinion on the problem at hand?" The news reporter asked.

"Well golly! There is a lot going on; we're gonna have to make this evacuation immediate! AGH-" *Screen cuts out from a lightning bolt strike*

"This isn't looking good... we need to do something about those five." Bubbles told her sisters.

"Obviously! Do you see their immense power!?" Blossom replied. "They can electrocute us, burn us, drown us, and even shove us into the abyss!" She stated.

"Okay but, hear me out. Do you notice the kind of thing I'm getting from this?" The Professor asked.

"What are you seeing that we possibly couldn't be seeing?" Buttercup asked.

"There's a bit of an element triangle; or square in this scenario. Water extinguishes fire, water also weathers down rocks, electricity is conducted by water, sand puts out flames-"

"We get it; there's something special to know about the elements." Buttercup interrupted.

"My point is the elements the four servants use have weaknesses that correlate to each other. If we get our hands on a specific element, we could defeat the others with said element!" The Professor explained.

"Or we could just fight them like any other villain. We'd just have to be cautious." Bubbles added.

"True. If that's how you want to do it then be my guest." The Professor said.

"Well then. It's clear what we have to do now." Blossom started.

"And that is?" Bubbles asked.

"We'll need to up our fighting game." Blossom continued.

"And stop those freaks from destroying Townsville." Buttercup finished.

"Yep; now let's go girls!" Blossom ordered; but their take-off was interrupted by their father.

"Hold on one moment you three. Before you go, you may wanna put these on first." He handed the girls the same suits they wore the time they piloted DYNAMO.

"The DYNAMO suits? Haven't worn these since the alien pickle invasion..." Blossom said to herself; referencing Relish Rampage. "Do they still even fit?"

*They did*

"I've made some modifications to them; they can withstand super high temperatures, and easily brush of electricity from the rubber that covers it." He explained.

"And if they get wet?" Bubbles asked.

"Hm... never really thought that far ahead..." He told them.

"Doesn't matter; let's go! Townsville can't save itself after all!" Blossom ordered; then all three sisters burst through the ceiling, wasting no time to find and fight off Voltor.

*Cut to Citiesville, Mojo's apartment*

Mojo is currently looking out at Townsville through his apartment window. "Oh man... if they want to stop whatever is going on over there. I'll have to lend some assistance; but then again, I promised never to return on behalf of reviving the girls. No, I'm not going to put up with it; I'm going to Townsville." Mojo then put on his jet pack, opened the door, and flew into the disaster-filled city. "Now where was their house again?"
