Chapter 2 - A trio ... kind of

~ Soccer field ... ~

Before Taichi arrives there, two other children of the same age as he are waiting for him.

The girl has short, chin-length orange hair that resembles a bob and maroon eyes. She wears a blue cap with a cyan brim and strap that leaves out a tuft of hair, a light pink shirt with short sleeves, a vertical light pink single stripe on each sleeve and a yellow butterfly on the left side of the chest. She also wears a red bracelet on her right wrist, burgundy jeans, and pink and black sneakers. The sneakers have red soles and white laces. She also wears a black piece of clothing between her shirt and pants.

The boy has blue eyes and spiky blond hair. He wears a purple turtleneck shirt with short sleeves, gray pants, a green headscarf on his left wrist, white socks and black sneakers with white soles and laces.

They seemed to be talking. While the boy was sitting on the grass, the girl stood only a few meters away from him and looked around every now and then.

"Tse, he's pretty late. I thought you wanted to play soccer together? "The blond boy looked at the girl.

"Maybe Taichi overslept?" She giggled. "You know him. After all, it's holidays. "

"I don't really care." The boy mumbled, but then looked at the girl again. "I would definitely have better things to do, but no ... you had to invite me too ... for no particular reason." He sighed overdramatically.

The girl had to laugh at this phase. "Come on now, Yamato. You had nothing to do with the summer vacation anyway! So why not spend time with me and Taichi? "She crouched down next to him.

"Do not worry! We didn't wait long. "The girl named Sora giggled.

These two children are classmates of Taichi: Ishida Yamato and Takenouchi Sora!

All three have known each other since early childhood. Sora often plays soccer with Taichi, both in her free time and in a club. And ... although Taichi and Yamato like to fight all day long and how night and day are, they still get along ... somehow?

"Okay…." The brown-haired guy kicked the ball onto the field. "We can finally start!"

"Have fun, you two." Yamato waved slightly.

"Why don't you play along?" Sora smiled. "It would be too boring for two, wouldn't it?"

"Yeah ... a round couldn't hurt." Taichi mumbled.

The blond boy shook his head. "It's okay. Maybe others will come here as well. You can then play with them… "he walked away from the square.

"Hey! Yamato! Where are you going now? "The girl yelled after him.

"I'll just go sit down somewhere else ... the place is big." With that he went on.

Taichi folded her arms. "It's always the same ..." Then he looked at Sora. "What is?"

While Taichi is playing soccer, the news is once again about the current power outages.

Why should this be so special? ... The abnormal appearances of it!

In many companies too, machines are slowly starting to play crazy, or just to be dated.

Taichi was lying on the grass, slightly exhausted. Fortunately for him and Sora's, a few others have come to play.

"I think I'll have to go home soon." Sora sighed.

He nodded. "But my father will be late from work, I think."

The girl took turns looking at both of them. "Is something depressing you too, Taichi?"

The brown-haired boy nodded. "It's probably nothing either! You're just so curious all of a sudden ... "With that he stood up. "See you tomorrow." He waved.

"Don't be late again!" She admonished.

"Yes…."

~ Yagami residence… ~

"Hello Onii-chan!" Hikari greeted her older brother as he took off his shoes.

"Oh, hello." He looked around. "Where's mom?"

"A quick shopping." She simply answered.

"I see ..." with that he went to his room. 'Man ... I'm so tired ... as if I had barely slept ...' then he thought about it for a moment. 'If I tell Sora and Yamato about my dream ... they'll declare me crazy! ... oh ... man ... what am I doing? '

While Taichi was in his room, his little sister watched the latest news.

Her expression was slightly worried. 'All these things that are happening now ... suddenly appeared ... hopefully it will stop soon ...'

A shadow figure looked at a strange rock with even stranger characters. "They'll be coming soon ..." It muttered. "... two are already in our control ... and the rest that appears here will be destroyed by us without mercy!" He turned around. "Roger that?"

"Yes ...!" Shouted other voices from the shadows.

"Good." It smiled.

Nobody really suspected yet, neither adults nor children, that this figure ... in this unknown world had planned something both for her own world and for this mysterious world.

And nobody knew ... what to do about it ...
