It might seem like I am complaining but I miss walking on my four paws… Hey, wait! Uhm I can change forms? It must work based on what I am thinking of. That could be useful in the future but I can't imagine why I would need to use it aside from this. I heard a sound and realized there was no brush or place for me to hide. In my panic I changed back into this strange form, must take some concentration but regardless what am I to do?
A trainer came over the horizon breathing rather hard. He seemed confused as I literally floated feet away from him. He had mentioned he thought he saw something but must have been imagining it. He opened up a device and scrolled through a list of pokemon till he came across one named Latios that looks exactly like me except blue. You see I am yellow and a little smaller than him but his shape is very similar to mine in build. There was little info on him except he can fly at the speed of sound and he was a legendary pokemon which I can only assume means he is rare. It also mentioned a sister and that last sighting was years ago in a place called Altomare.
The trainer pulled away from me and ended up running past me, my guess is to either catch up to me, or maybe he has another pokemon he is after. The poor sap who gets caught by those dreaded pokeballs. I wonder why he couldn't see me? Must be another ability? A fight or flight response? *I chuckle to myself at how literal that term is now*. I will have to test that theory later. Nevertheless, I now know where I need to go. That is a long journey and I will need to somehow get on a ferry to take me to the location. Would be very helpful if I were a human. I could just walk right on.
Hmm? Oh yea, I can transform… hmm I wonder if I can talk as one as well. I suppose I can chase after the trainer I just saw and ask but what do I do if I can't? Perhaps I should go to the poke school and learn to do the thing the humans call writing. They all seem to understand that fine and I wouldn't have to test that theory.
Upon arrival to the human school, I see many young kids, I can only assume they learn to write at a young age so this is going to be embarrassing. The one I could only assume to be a teacher asked me what I came to learn and I pointed to my throat hoping I could get her to understand I can't talk. She offered me a pen and paper but I just shrugged. It seems she understood I can't write. She showed me letters and was making sounds as she did so. At the end of the day she had me writing the letters to the sounds she was making. She had mentioned that I was making progress. For several days I attended the school eventually being able to communicate what I wanted to the teacher and thanking her for her help.
Before I left I asked if she could tell me about Latios and Latias and she told me the story of how the duo brought water to the city of Altomare and kept it protected from those who would cause it harm. I wish there was more info on them directly but only stories are recorded it seems. I left the school still disguised as a human and boarded the ferry that would take me to the fabled city I have heard is their home. The ride was stressful with so many trainers requesting battles and it was hard to keep my mind on my human guise. I made it!
After getting off the ferry I couldn't help but marvel at how pristine the water around the city was nor how well all the pokemon around the area were getting along with their trainers. Everything was so tranquil almost as if trouble has never touched the city floating on the water but surely no city is perfect. I touched the water and I felt a shockwave go through me as if I was connected to the source in some way. If someone didn't know I was here they now did. Hopefully that shockwave won't scare anyone away however it seems no one noticed which I am grateful for. When I stand up there is a girl with hair of red, eyes of gold, a green shirt with a white skirt. She seemed curious as to if she knew something about me but how could that be?
She turned to run but waved for me to follow. I did so wanting to know what she wanted of me. I hope I don't get lost as there are so many alleys she is running down and I don't know where each leads. I eventually come upon a dead end but before I can turn around someone pushes me into a wall which I scream but then realize I went through it instead of hitting it. On the other side of it is a beautiful garden. I have never seen anything so beautiful and when the wind blows into said
garden, it feels almost heavenly.
I now see the girl sitting by the water looking at something. As I get closer I can see a stone along with my pendant glowing in reaction to being close to this rare gem. I go to touch it but a blue blur starts to charge at me. I manage to touch the stone right before he gets to me and a giant headache hits all three of us as the memory of a Latias fills through all three of our heads and her words to find the castle in the sky echos before all of us passing out.
