After their 'marriage', Jackson & Roxana went to some nice places and made some good friends around the town, they soon spent the night at a bar, having a nice drink and having some fun with the rest of the towns population. Days later and the two Lombaxes started their jobs, Jackson started working on making simple robotics and was soon seen to be too skilled at the job, and after only one week, he got promoted to working at the harder and longer to work on robotics. Roxana also was great at her job, she helped some of her co-workers and made new friends, at the weekends, they would have a 'girls afternoon out', while Jackson would enjoy a nice drink with his mates at his work.
One month passed after Roxana took the Solar name, she began to feel sick. She got up from her bed to immediately have the need to throw up. She never felt like this before, she also felt really tired. She wondered what was happening to her, she went to the kitchen and felt like she was going to throw up again. She began to feel frightened as she didn't like what was happening. She then remembered that she bought a special test to see what was wrong. She took it and was surprised to see what the answer to her problem was. She looked at it closely to see if the result wasn't faulty, but was confirmed to be legit, the result was final, Roxana was pregnant.
She was absolutely ecstatic about this, she got dressed and head out to tell her friends about the news. At Roxana's work, some of her co-workers were wondering where she was, until she ran in and told everyone the news, they were shocked by hearing that Roxana was going to be a mother and commended her for this momentous occasion. They told Roxana that she could have the day off so she can tell Jackson about the news too. Roxana soon head out to where Jackson worked so she can inform him about this.
At Jackson's work place, he was working on a new robotic arm for people who have lost a limb, he was making good progress with making the arm. "Hey Solar," Said one of his co-workers, "How's the arm going along?" "Great." Jackson responded, "It's almost finished in fact." The other workers were surprised by what Jackson had said, "Really, almost finished. That arm usually takes 3 weeks to build, but with you, it has only been 2 days. How did you do it?" Jackson walked up to one of his co-workers and pointed to his forehead, "Robotic engineering genius you're talking to. You should really understand you're talking to the person that got promoted one week after joining." Then the break alarm blared. Everyone started going to the break room to have a break. Jackson was talking about some of his past to his work mates and about to enjoy a nice cake when Roxana came in with a massive grin on her face.
"Jackson." She said in excitement. Jackson was shocked to see her here, "Roxana, what are you doing here? You know that this is my work place." "It's just that I have some special news." Roxana hugged her husband as she said the words that Jackson didn't expect to hear, "We're gonna have a baby." Jackson's eyes widened, "Wait, what?" "We're gonna have a baby Jackson. I'm pregnant." Roxana blurted in shear happiness. Jackson was utterly speechless, he had no words to speak out, he just looked at his wife until he formed a big grin and lifted her, "I'm going to be a dad!" Some of the co-workers overheard this and were clapping for the two as they were about to become parents for the first time.
Hours later and the two headed back home and Jackson was making some plans for the upcoming child. "Jackson, honey." Roxana said patiently, "The baby isn't going to be due for another nine months, you don't need to prepare too early." "Sorry dear," Jackson replied, "But you don't know how happy I am about this." Roxana laughed, "You know, you're just like my brother Aberforth, he wanted to be prepared when Lorna announced her pregnancy." Then she started to shed a tear, "I still miss him. I wonder how he would've reacted to hearing his baby sister having a child?"
"I'm sure he'll be proud." Jackson answered in pure honesty, "Oh, and we need to think of a name for the child." "OK. What should we call it?" Roxana questioned, "Because I was thinking, if it was a girl, we could call it Ruth Marigold Bethany." "And if it's a boy," Jackson replied, "We could call it, I don't know." Roxana and Jackson pondered on boy names until they both thought of the perfect on, "William Mark Halliburton!" "So it's settled." Jackson said, "If it's a girl, it's Ruth, but if it's a boy, it's William." "Yep." Roxana finished as she went upstairs to go to bed.
Jackson watched Roxana walk upstairs and when she left his sight, he pulled out a notebook and wrote down 'Names for first child. Ruth for girl, William for boy.'.
