Danny was not doing too hot. Actually, that would probably be the biggest understatement of his 24 years of living.
In context, maybe he should have told someone when was almost crushed by a giant meteor on the golf court where he was getting married. Funny enough, he always wanted to see a meteor up close; this just happened to be a little too close for comfort.
Danny started to feel dizzy, slightly sick, as his beautiful soon-to-be wife started her walk down the aisle. Valerie had been excited about his wedding for months, constantly dropping hints and teases about it during the morning weather forecast, all leading up to today.
He was not feeling the best; he was shivering with cold, yet his eyes and palms were on fire. He felt super energized, his body feeling too tight for his skin. Despite all of this, he was ready to call Valerie his, ready to have his wife in his arms.
Valerie was here now, standing in front of him with her veil in her face. The bridesmaids took her bouquet, and he1 pulled the veil away from her face and smiled down at her.
"Wow, you're ... glowing." Valerie said, taking a step backward. "Right back at you, babe." The bridesmaids had a look of fear on their faces, whispering to one another.
"No, you're literally glowing. Your green!" Danny stopped at that, staring at his fiance. "What?"
The burning on his palms flared up, drawing his attention to the neon glow on his palms. His skin started to pale, trunking a blue tan. His shivering increased, shaking his whole body to his core. His head was pounding, causing him to curl in on himself, head in burning hands.
Valerie tried to help him, but as Danny extended his hand for help, a blast of some neon energy shot from in. The woman standing in front of him ducked for cover as benches exploded. Danny reeled back, running into the priest, who ran from the room with his phone in hand. The energy kept shooting from Danny, breaking objects and throwing people backward.
At this point, most of the crowd has started freaking out, hiding behind objects. Valerie got up from her hiding place, going to pull Danny away from where he was standing.
"Wait… wait everyone, calm down. Have some champagne while Danny has some rest." The crowd began running from the chapel, crushing their high school English teacher, who was struggling to open the door.
Danny groaned in pain, slowly floating to the top of the chapel. His hair, which used to be black, was now a shocking white, his eyes glowing a toxic green. A wave of green energy expelled from his body, breaking the ceiling of the building.
Danny looked around, seeing all of the guests running from the building in fear, his parents and sister standing outside of the building, and a black van pulled up to the chapel. The government.
Everyone was out of the building, all except for Valerie, who was trying to calm him down before the building exploded. "Val.. Valerie!"
He landed on the ground, moving the beams with ease, finding his fiance among the rubble. "Valerie. Thank god you're okay!"
Shooting back into the sky, Danny started to move away from the rubble. "What... what's happening to me?"
"I don't know. Don't panic, don't worry, just calm down and don't drop-!" Something whistled past Danny, startling him, dropping Valerie to the ground. "Val!"
Valerie was caught, three agents moving a tarp to catch her. They then moved her away from Danny, her struggling the whole way.
More things started shooting at Danny, causing him to try and maneuver around them. "Who are you people! Why are you here?" As he was trying to dodge a shot, something hit him in this thigh, ripping his suit. "Please, just leave me alo- OW!" He yelled in pain, looking down to see a tranquilizer dart sticking out of his leg. Angry, he yanked the dart from his leg, and through a blast of the green energy in his palms at the agent who shot him. The man screamed in fear.
He continued to dodge, getting more sluggish as he went. Soon another jabbed him, sending him tumbling to the ground.
He struggled to get up from the small creator in the ground, against toppling him, shoving him to the ground. Danny sluggishly tried to fight the agents, making eye contact with Valerie, still being dragged away from the scene.
"Valerie.." The world went dark.

There was an annoying buzz, waking Danny from his slumber. He groaned, rolling over. "Honey, could you hit the snooze?" after a few moments, when the buzzing did not stop, he groaned again. "Val, why'd you set the alarm? We're on our honeymoon." He reached over to turn the alarm off, only to fall from the bed.
Waking up fully from his sleep, he looked around the room. It was a metal box, save for the toilet and sink at the edge of the room. The bed he was sleeping on was old and metal, with a flat pillow and thin blanket crumpled from where he slept.
"Hello?"
Umm. Hi? I know that literally everyone hates me now, because I keep dipping for months on end, and I have no excuse for that. I just... don't really find an interest in it anymore. I'm still going to do it, don't get me wrong. School has kicked my but, and because it is almost over, I will have time again. That being said, I really am sorry about abandoning everything again. But, I give you this, and hope that you can find it in your hearts to not give up on me just yet. See you next time!
