"But doc, what about the party?" asked Dot.
"Right now, the important thing is for you to get better Dot," said Doctor Scratchansniff.
"Yes sir," she said, with a poutiness in her voice.
"Now you just get plenty of rest.
Now doing the zany cooky stuff vith your brothers
And try not to scratch your pox, it vill make it vorse.
Calimie lotion should do the trick, plus oatmeal."
"Yuck, I hate oatmeal," said Dot, making a sour face.
"Not to eat, for a bath," the doctor corrected her.
"Oh, ok then."
Doctor Scratchansniff then gave Yakko and Wakko a list of items that Dot needed for her illness
Calemine lotion and oatmeal bath mixtures, some pills for anti-nausea, seltzer water, soup and crackers as she will most likely not have much of an appitie while battling chicken pox, plus a lot of bleach , gloves, and cleaning items to scrub everything down to prevent the spread of germs.
Even though the doctor told the brothers it's highly impossible and rare to get chicken pox twice, it's best not to take any chances.
"How long will have the chicken pox?" Dot asked.
"Vell, it can last from one-two veeks, depending how mild or severe you are, Dr. Scratchansniff replied, who looked over at Dot and said, "And it appears that vhile Yakko and Wakko both had pretty mild cases, you seem to have it more severe than your brothers."
Two weeks?!
"I'm going to have chicken pox for two weeks?!
Aww, looks like the pary's canceled because of the stupid chicken pox," said Dot.
"Now, now, let's not worry about the party now," spoke Wakko.
"What's important now is for you to get well," added Yakko.
"Your brothers are right Dot.
Try not to think about the party and focus on getting better,"said Dr. Scratchansniff.
"Yes sir," Dot replied with the same pout in her voice.
Yakko and Wakko thanked the doctor for stopping by,who in return said that if the Warners, especially Dot needed anything to get in touch with him or Hello Nurse, his receptionist.
Once the doctor left, Wakko voulenteered to get the items that his sister needed at the store, while Yakko stayed at the water tower to take care of Dot.
A short time later, Wakko returned home, carrying several grocery bags(two on each arm.)
"I'm home, he called.
However, there was no answer.
Seconds later, there was a sound.
It was coming from the bathroom, which was a flushing from the toliet.
Yakko emerged, with Dot, riding piggyback.
"Sorry bro, Dot had an upset stomach," said the eldest Warner sibling.
"Looks like I came home just in time, said Wakko, They were out of sezlter, so I got ginger ale.
Will that do?"
Dot simply nodded as Yakko placed her back in her bed.
He then went to give Wakko a hand with the groceries, and took some of the cleaning items, and went to clean down the toliet and the rest of the bathroom.
Wakko, meanwhile, poured some ginger ale into a cup, and gave it to his sister.
"Thank you," said Dot in a weak voice, as she sipped on her drink.
Seconds later, Yakko came out of the bathroom.
"It's all clean in there now," he said, going into the kitchen to wash up.
"I gave Dot some ginger ale to settle her stomach," said Wakko.
"Good thinking Wakko."
Yakko made his way to Dot's bed and asked, "How are you feeling Dot?"
"My stomach's feeling better, but I'm so itchy," said Dot, as she beagn to scratch her face, followed by her arms.
"Let me go get the calimine lotion."
Yakko returned seconds later, with the lotion and cotton balls to apply it.
He carefully dabbed some of the calimine on to Dot's arms and her face,(making sure not to get to close to her eyes.)
That helped keep the itching under control, and Dot felt more at ease.
Later on that evening, Yakko and Wakko got themselves a pizza for dinner.
Dot, who had gotten 'sick' earlier was too nervous to eat.
Yakko told her though that she had to eat to keep up her strength.
She told him she would try, so the eldest Warner made her chicken soup with crackers and ginger ale.
Thankfully, Dot, who ate her meal slowly, was able to keep food down, (so far.)
As the three of them were eating, they heard a loud noise.
"What's going on?" said Wakko.
"I'm going to find out.
Keep an eye on Dot Wakko," spoke Yakko, as he headed out of the the water tower.
However, the door, wouldn't budge open.
"What's wrong?" Dot asked.
"I can't get this door open," Yakko answered, while struggling to open the door.
"How we going to find out what's happening outside if we can't get the door to open," asked Wakko.
"I'm scared.
"I'm also very itchy, but scared to," said Dot.
"Fear not sibs, I have a plan," said Yakko, as he then turned to his brother and said, "Wakko, press the sun roof button."
The middle Warner sibling gave a salute to his brother and pushed a button.
Suddenly, the roof of the water tower opened up.
"Great!
Now, do you have a trampoline and a parashute bag?"
Wakko then went through his bag of props.
He pulled out a canoe, a tuba, a set of bagpipes, a slinky and a crate of ACME dynomite, before he found what his brother needed.
Once the trampoline was set up, Yakko jumped on, and took a massive leap on him, which caused him to esculate out of the tower, exactly what he wanted.
Aftewards, he opened the parachute and landed outside the front of the water tower.
That's where he found Warner Brothers C.E.O. Thadeous Plotz, and the security guard Ralph, placing what looked to be wooden slats on the tower's front door.
Yakko tapped Ralph on his shoulder and asked, "So ahhhhh, what cha doing?"
"Duh, Mr. Plotzes wants mes to uh, keep the Wanerses from leavings the tower duh, oh the counts of the sister is sicks with the chicken pox," the guard.
"You don't say."
"Exactly, we have to keep the Warner kids quarintine, until this chicken pox illness is over, added the studio C.E.O, Even though it's only one of them that has chicken pox, we can't risk the others spreading germs!"
"You don't say," Yakko spoke.
"I do say!"
At that moment, Thadeous Plotz and Ralph turned to see the eldest Warner sibling, standing beside them.
"Ralph!
Open the door and throw him back in the tower!
He's covered in germs!" the C.E.O. ordered.
"Duh, but sirs, yous says to keep the doors shuts," said Ralph.
"But as you can see, one of the Warners has escape.
Put him back inside!"
"Yes sirs."
Ralph ripped off the wooden slats, threw the door open, picked up Yakko, and threw him back into the water tower.
"Can't blame a guy for asking," Yakko said, before Ralph tossed him back into the tower and slammed the door shut.
