Author's Note

So for the record this is basically canon up to the end of season 3. I will not be dealing with any season 4 stuff unless mentioned. Also, slight spoiler for my main story though it's not that much of a spoiler.

Sophie Lèon knew of the previous Ladybug but she didn't know her. So, pretending to be her was going to be a pain. Which is why she had let her, um Marinette's, hair down in order to hide Tikki near her.

Speaking of which Tikki led her to Marinette's seat and the girl plopped down sadly and pulled out Marinette's notebook and pen preparing to take notes.

She didn't expect this to take this long but the akumatized villain had hidden for some reason. Even after a very stressed Cat Noir and her looked for a while leading to them deciding to separate for now and meet up later. After talking to an even more stressed Tikki, Sophie and her had decided to go to school and try to act as natural as possible, after breakfast with the Dupain-Chengs of course. Luckily that wasn't too bad as she had eaten with the before. Though it was different from breakfast with her mom which was usually just a breakfast bar.

She hoped Marinette fed her cat.

"Hey, girl!" a girl greeted and Sophie did a double take and realized it was Alya Cesaire walking.

"Oh morning," Sophie replied as Alya took a seat next to her as Nino Lahiffe entered waving.

This was going to be weird, Sophie realized as morning people she "knew" entered such as friend Zacharie's parents, Juleka Couffaine and Rose Lavillant.

She looked in Marinette's bag hoping to find something to distract herself with when she had to do a double take as her mother entered.

Chloé Bourgeois.

So freaking weird.

As the blonde walked by typing away on her phone, Sophie tried to greet her, "Good Morning, Chloé."

The room seemed to pause at this and Sophie realized she must have fucked up.

"I don't know what this is, Dupain-Cheng, but I'm not falling for it," the blonde replied as she sat in her seat.

"What the heck, girl?" Alya asked Sophie in shock, "You and Chloé aren't friends."

But, her mother was friends with Marinette in the future...What the heck…

Sophie waved her hand in the air and laid her head down, "I'm just tired. Not thinking."

Tikki whispered in Sophie's ear, "These people here aren't what you know them yet. You have to be more careful."

Now she said something, Sophie thought annoyed as Adrien Agreste entered looking depressed as he went to his seat.

Sophie glanced at him as a thought suddenly shot through her, oh fuck. She forgot about that...

….

Marinette Dupain-Cheng sighed as she laid her, um well her borrowed, head on the table in the lunchroom. She had made it halfway through the day, that being said what was taking Sophie so long to defeat the akuma?!
"You okay, Soph?"

The hero looked up at the girl that had asked the question.

Nina Lahiffe, the daughter of Nino and Alya, at least she assumed it was Alya. She looks like Alya, imagine Marinette's surprise to find out that Nina was Sophie's best friend, and she had squealed when she saw Nina's last name on her notebook, luckily Marinette had passed the squeal off as stubbing her toe.

"Just tired." Marinette replied as she looked at the line for food and debated going to get some as a blonde boy took a seat next to Nina.

"Sophie, Nina," He greeted as he held up a can of coffee to Nina.

"You have earned another day, Zacharie," Nina said sternly as she took it.

The boy, Zacharie, rolled his also familiar looking blue eyes and opened his canned coffee, "So dramatic."

Marinette watched the interaction with slight interest when a sandwich and bottled tea was placed in front of her followed by a black haired girl with glasses taking a seat next to her, "Hey."

"Um, Hey," Marinette greeted unsure as she looked down at the bottled green tea and chicken salad sandwich, "Thanks."

The black haired girl smiled sweetly at her.

"So, where's Louis and Iris today?" Zacharie asked looking around.

"Iris had something to do for her science teacher and got me on Louis. He's being more distant than usual," the new girl explained as she pulled another sandwich out of her bag and the always welcomed cookies from the Dupain-Cheng bakery.

Marinette took a cookie hesitantly but dropped it as she felt the new girl move her foot and leg to wrap around her's. Feeling uncomfortable she looked at the girl and asked, "can you move your foot please?"

The girl, as well as Nina and Zacharie looked confused. Looking hurt, the foot and leg were moved away with a mumbled, "Sorry."

Damn, she had done something wrong. The girl looked hurt, that was something Sophie probably did a lot with her.

"Are you okay, Sophie?" Zacharie asked confused.

"Yeah, usually you would be cuddling all up with Emma by now," Nina pointed out, pointing with her coffee for effect, " Showing the world that she's your girlfriend and all that."

Oh, shit. This was Sophie's girlfriend?!

Marinette looked the girl over again, noting her messy styled black hair that touched her shoulders, the fair white skin tone, the black square glasses covering bright green eyes, the average black t-shirt with a star wars logo and dark blue skinny jeans. Sophie had pretty good taste honestly but something felt off.

"It's fine. Sophie wants space right, I can give that," Emma tried to help Marinette.

The time traveled body swapper ran with the suggestion, "Sorry, Emma. Just not feeling good today."

Emma nodded seeming to understand and Marinette felt guilty already for lying to the girl.

"Alright," Zacharie shrugged as he started opening his lunch box.

"Fine, but be careful. You know everyone wants a piece of Emma Agreste," Nina teased sipping her coffee.

"Especially those arms," Zacharie added teasingly.

"Okay, seriously why does everyone talk about my arms?" Emma whined as this started what seemed to be a normal argument for them.

Marinette checked out of the conversation as she repeated the name mentally.

Emma Agreste?

Emma Agreste.

Emma. Agreste.

Like….Emma Agreste?

Agreste like Adrien and Gabriel Agreste?

Emma like what she wanted to name her daughter? With Adrien. That she wanted which would be Emma Agreste. Who was next to her. Right now? No.

She shot up and cried "bathroom!" ignoring the concern from Emma.

Next thing she knew she was in the bathroom stalling pulling Tikki out of her purse, "Tikki! Emma Agreste?!"

"Any chance you'll believe she's Kagami's daughter?"

"If she didn't have the name I picked out maybe!"

Tikki whined in distress, "Why didn't I think this far ahead? I forgot all about you having picked out your kids named back when you were 13."

"So, Emma Agreste is my….my…." Marinette's face grew hot and she squealed.

There was a knock on the stall and said Emma asked, "Sophie? You alright?"

Marinette's daughter was outside the stall.

"Um, fine. Period stuff," the time traveler lied.

"Oh…" A surprised reply came, "You want me to get you anything? A tampon, that boba tea you like, some midol?"

Aw, Emma was a good girlfriend.

"I'm fine. I'll be out in a second," the hero assured.

She heard shuffling for a second before an, "alright." was heard and the closing of the door.

"I have a daughter in the future with Adrien named Emma Agreste," Marinette repeated in shock as Tikki whined to herself about space time breaking, "I get together with Adrien. But he's with Kagami and I'm with Luka. But Emma exists and she has Adrien's eyes! And she's cute, in kind of a slacker teen way and she brings her girlfriend lunch thats so cute and-"

Marinette stopped all of a sudden as she remembered suddenly a rather important fact, "I'm in my daughter's girlfriend's body….my daughter tried to play footsie with me?"

And that's when a boom happened outside and Tikki cried in glee as an akuma attack meant she didn't have to immediately deal with Marinette's mental scarring.
