Previously on Abyssal Wizard:
"W-what the heck!?" Harry rasped quietly in shock; his throat still sore from a blow to the neck.
His skin was a snow white and his eyes a glistening blue as below him he seemed to sit in a grey steel boat with a mouth and grates for eyes. He had a buoy strapped across his waist and wore and loose white dress white exposed most of his already white skin.
The only thought in his mind at this time was, ''WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO ME!?'
At Hogwarts, in the Headmasters quarters, Dumbledore snapped at attention as he looked to his left to see various devices and trinkets whizzing and whirring.
"Harry!" Dumbledore gasped breathlessly in shock.
This Time on Abyssal Wizard:
'O-okay, l-l-let's j-just think t-this t-through.' Harry shakily thought as he felt himself shake in shock and a slight bit of fear.
First, he looked different.
Second, he looked like a girl.
Third, it was his birthday.
Fourth, he shrank.
Fifth, he looked different.
Wait, didn't he already think that?
Anyway, he was still shaken by what he was seeing and it wasn't better when he heard the doorbell ring.
It meant the Dursleys were awake and if they saw him, it wouldn't look good.
"C-crap, how do I hide!?" Harry stuttered, clutching his head in panic.
The thudding of steps reaches his ears and his panic went into overdrive as literal alarm bells began to ring in his head as he grabbed the only thing, he could that would help him hide...
.
.
.
.
The blanket!
Throwing it over himself, he quickly took the lowest position he could and hugged the, uh, metal thing that his legs were in.
"Harry my boy? Are you in there?"
'Wait, Professor Dumbledore?' Harry though in confusion under the blanket.
Tensing as the door opened, he peaked an eye to see that yes, in fact it was Dumbledore and he seemed worried.
"Are you alright my boy?" Dumbledore asked. "You seem like you are hiding from something?"
Well, that didn't last.
"U-um, h-hi sir." Harry stuttered.
"Ah, I can see why you would want to hide now Harry." Dumbledore chuckled. "One's gender doesn't so easily change as such."
"W-what? How d-do you-" He stopped when he took time to listen to his voice. "O-oh."
Guess he was too busy panicking to notice.
Harry let his grip slip as the blanket slowly fell from him, revealing his new body to Dumbledore as he looked up to the kind old Headmaster.
If Dumbledore was surprised, he didn't appear to be, but the only change Harry could see was that Dumbledore's usual twinkle that his eyes had were gone.
"Hmm, this could be a problem indeed." Dumbledore mumbled.
"Problem?" Harry noted sarcastically. "Really?"
"No, it's not that my boy." Dumbledore clarified. "It's just, your appearance seems all too familiar. Care to guess?"
Harry looked at himself once more, but why would Dumbledore say that his appearance was familia-Oh. Ooooohhh.
White hair.
White skin.
Ominous glowing eyes.
Weird metal equipment things.
Yeah, that was all the key looks of an Abyssal.
"O-oh no!" Harry gasped in fright.
He was one of those monsters?
Seems that Dumbledore sensed his panic as Dumbledore enveloped him in a comforting hug, which Harry thankfully accepted.
"Let us figure this out my boy." Dumbledore exclaimed. "One step at a time, but you need to be calm alright?"
Harry nodded mutely in his arms.
After about a minute or so of silence, Harry left Dumbledore's caring grasp and stated, "I don't think I'm staying at the Dursleys anymore."
Dumbledore chuckled softly. "No, I don't believe you are my boy."
"Where are the Dursleys?" Harry asked.
"When I arrived, they were already preparing to go off on one of those shopping trips with their son Dudley." Dumbledore explained. "They got quite the shock seeing me, that I assure you."
Harry laughed (not giggled!) at that, cupping his hand to his mouth to his mouth to try and stop himself.
The glint in Dumbledore's eyes returned after that.
"I do believe the plan for now is to get you to Hogwarts and get you used to your, shall we say, new body, and see how it goes from there."
"Sounds like a plan sir." Harry smiled. "It's better than mine."
"Tell me; was it to panic and hide?"
Harry looked down in embarrassment.
Turns out that portkeys are a thing, and they suck.
Harry swears that if any form of magical travel was as bad, or even worse than that, then he will swear an oath off of magical travel.
Hey, at least he found out something new about himself as he hit his head trying to stave away the nausea.
He was made of metal, which was, erm, cool he guessed?
When they arrived in his office, the wall already experienced his new body as it collided with him and, contrary to what you would believe, he went through the wall instead of bouncing off of it.
Anyway!
"Now that we have you sorted my boy, I see that we already know two pieces of information about your new self." Dumbledore noted, with a bright twinkle in his eyes.
"Yeah." Harry mumbled in embarrassment. "I-I'm sorry about the wall."
"Think nothing of it my boy." Dumbledore chuckled softly. "The school has a high budget for a reason you know. Maybe not in this particular instance, but I'm sure there are many magical incidents with similar effects."
Harry couldn't deny that when he saw all the pranks his friend Ronald Weasley's brothers Fred and George pull.
"Now we can write down two things." Dumbledore exclaimed. "Increased weight and metal skin/body."
"I think we can put down extra strength sir." Harry added, holding out a crumpled port key which took the form of a steel ball.
"I see." Dumbledore responded as he wrote it down. "Quite strong indeed."
You may be wondering where the steel boat thing was, but don't worry, it was just in the corner and Harry got out of it.
It felt weird to him though, like he was missing a part of himself. It was a pretty uncomfortable feeling if he was being honest.
Anyway, he was getting distracted.
"My boy, are you there?" Dumbledore asked, bringing Harry back from daydream land.
"O-oh, sorry sir." Harry stuttered. "Were you saying something?"
"Yes, I was going to test something for a moment." Dumbledore answered.
When Harry looked at him closer, he seemed to be holding a device of some sort, like a stick with a small glass bulb on the end shaped like a tube.
"May I?" Dumbledore prompted.
"U-um, yes sir." Harry replied.
He wasn't sure what Dumbledore would do, but he knew the he wouldn't hurt him.
As Dumbledore waved the device in front of him, it began to whirr for a moment before turning and ocean blue. Dumbledore seemed perplexed by something, but his facade grew back before Harry could notice.
"Alright now." Dumbledore began. "I do believe that we should let Poppy check you, just to be safe."
"W-wait, Madame Pomfrey?" Harry questioned.
"The very same."
Why did harry not have a good feeling about this?
