I was at the docks while they loaded the barge for the Isle. I was dressed in dark leather as Mom frowned at me.
"Harry, are you sure I can't convince you otherwise?" I smiled at her.
"Mom, I promise I will be careful." She sighed and embraced me.
"Couldn't you just wait till Ben brings over some others?" I laughed and hugged her tighter.
"Mom, I have had the list for months. If I don't observe them over there then I will not be able to get a true taste of their character." She shook her head and backed up with watery eyes as the captain came over.
"My Queen, Prince Harry, it's time to set off. Now or never. If we arrive late they will suspect something." I nodded and stepped back before putting my hands behind my back.
"Mom, I promise I will be back in a month, right before the Cotillion." The Captain put handcuffs on my hands, but kept them loose
"And your sure you don't want me to tell Ben about this?" I smiled.
"Course not. He would send someone to come get me and I have five dozen names on the list." She nodded as the tears came down.
"Please, if it becomes too much come back." The captain cleared his throat.
"The signal for an emergency shipment hasn't been used in years, but we keep it operational." Mom nodded with a sigh.
"I will have a speedboat ready just in case." I nodded to her before I was lead to walk behind the captain as he brought me to the brig. This had to be believable after all. Once he locked me in he sighed.
"Remember we are going to rough you up when we drop you off. Be sure to use colorful language to be excepted." I nodded with a deep breath.
"Lets do this." He nodded.
"See you soon, Prince Harry." I nodded as he left me there, in my cell.
Line Break
There was a load bang as we docked. It took not even a full minute before I heard clamoring above us of people running around and yelling. The captain came down and when he saw me the pissed expression turned to upset. He opened the cage and sighed.
"More kids are being sent, and we have already had bloodshed over the trash." I took a breath.
"Lets put on a show." He grabbed the cuffs and whispered.
"Start now." He said and I took a breath.
"Get the fuck off me you damn asshole!" I screamed before suddenly all the talking stopped.
"Shut your mouth you damn thieving bastard." I laughed as maniacally as I could.
"Why the hell that king needs to wear that damn crown all the time?" I laughed.
"He made it way to tempting!" He dragged me as I 'tried' to get away before he pushed me off the boat onto the dock.
"I hope you die you damn Bastard." I rolled onto my back and smiled.
"Leaving me with the cuffs?" He scoffed.
"The king said isle, nothing about giving you a chance." He turned around and walked back.
"Thirty minutes before I pack up. That brat got me in the nuts!" He rubbed his crotch before walking away. I rolled and used my momentum to get to feet before walking away with a laugh. I jumped and swung my hands to the front before taking a small wire out of my mouth and picking the lock. I froze after my first hand was free as a man walked up to me.
"Fresh meat. What are you in for?" I finished the other and put the wire behind my ear.
"That is for me to know and you to wonder about." He laughed and came closer.
"Someone thinks he is big and bad for someone who was just brought here." I chuckled before grabbing him by the hair and pulling his head down into my knee as he screamed in pain and laid down in a ball. I looked around seeing several shocked faces as I laughed again.
"Anyone touches me, and they will get the same treatment." I walked off as everyone stared at me. I took deep breaths, this was not the time to have a flashback. I saw a little girl who was cowering away from me and I took a breath with my eyes closed.
"Who are you?" I asked nicely and she blinked.
"My name is Evelyn, Granddaughter of Captain Hook." I nodded and continued on. She was not on the list and I refuse to think anyone under the age of five could possibly deserve this.
Time Skip
The last week had been incredibly difficult. Finding out about people was easy as everyone bragged and whispered behind their backs. I had most of the given list done, and even added a bunch of names. Today however I was eating at Ursula's fish and Chips when a dark skinned beautiful girl in a pirate hat came over with a frown.
"Who are you, this your first time here or what?" I laughed.
"Just got here last week so yeah, first time at this place." She smirked.
"Your the one who dropped Eric like a brick? Good job." I laughed at finally figuring out that guys name.
"What about you beautiful, what's your name?" She laughed evilly.
"Names Uma, daughter of Ursula. Who are you?" I smirked.
"James, son of two no names on the mainland you wouldn't know of." She laughed.
"One clams coming up." I grabbed the hand of the pirate stealing my money and put a knife to his throat as she went wide eyed.
"Tell your goon to drop my money sack before I relieve him of his head." She glared.
"You didn't check that?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Villain, plus this is a knife not a sword." She grumbled before nodding.
"Gil, let it go. Replacing you is too much work." She turned on her heal and left as Gil did the same. I took out my list and looked it over finding the two names. Gil son of Gaston, Uma daughter of Ursula, she didn't let him die even though it challenged her power." I nodded and checked the names off. Gil seams too shy since he is now off to the side.
Line Break
It was close to an hour when I figured out this was a big hang out for the pirates since a teenager with a hook came in acting like he owned the place. Uma walked past him as he bowed to her.
"30$" I laughed at her.
"For this slop, nope you get 10." I put a bill on the table and stood.
"That isn't how this works!" I laughed and leaned in close.
"It is when you don't actually ask me what I want." I walked out.
"I might be back beautiful, haven't decided yet." I walked away with a smile on my face. I needed to check on a Dizzy that I have not seen leave the hair dresser's yet. Evie was adamant about her needing to get off the Isle.
Time Skip
The next day I had a fresh hair cut with extremely dark orange highlights you couldn't tell unless you looked closely. Honestly I liked it. Currently I was at the docks laughing at Uma yelling at the different pirates as I marked their names and observed them. Harry Hook had put cuts on four of the crew already so he was out for sure. Finally Uma growled.
"Everyone that one is annoying me! Lock him in the brig!" I went wide eyed as she yelled while pointing at me. I quickly put my list away as some pirates swung on ropes to where I was as I had to duck a swing at my neck. She is out, that was a kill shot. The next went for my leg as I jumped over it. I punched the bitch who went for the kill shot in the face causing her to drop her sword before picking it up and locking blades with a wide eyed Harry. I gave him a kick to the crotch causing him to go down before jumping down a level and going through the giant pipe while I laughed and kept the sword with me.
When I heard walking behind me I stepped to the side of the exit before waiting for the person to step out. The first thing out was a sword that I came down on hard before spinning around with my off hand and grabbing the throat of...Uma? I chuckled.
"Well Beautiful, glad you wanted to see me so much, but the sword." I chuckled while I shook my head as she growled and pulled on my hand.
"Let go of me." I chuckled and let go as she rubbed her neck, leaving her sword on the ground.
"Why were you watching my crew?" I laughed.
"Why watch them when I can watch your fine legs?' She blushed before growling.
"What the hell are you doing?' I laughed.
"Called flirting, usually comes before dating someone." She shook her head.
"You really are new, dating doesn't happen over here." I gave her a look.
"Then how are their kids?" She laughed.
"Alcohol or stress relief." I laughed.
"Ok then." I grabbed her wrist with one hand and her hair with the other before pulling her to me and kissing her quickly. I then let go and stepped back as her eyes were wide. I laughed.
"Not what I am used to, but I can work with it. See you later beautiful." I turned my back and began to walk away. I made it ten feet before she yelled.
"What the fuck was that about!" I laughed as I turned and walked backwards looking at the blushing, wide eyed pirate.
"Stress relief!" I called back before turning and walking away normally.
Time Skip
"Finally!" I called to nobody as I found the falling rocks sign. I had subtly asked Jay and Carlos where they used to hang out and they laughed before talking about a hideout with the sign as an entrance. Throwing a nearby rock a gate began to open as I smirked. Climbing the stairs I smiled at the large empty rooms, and the couch. I sighed in happiness, I had been sleeping in alleys so far, this was going to be awesome. As I checked out the rooms I noticed all the anti Auradon stuff and couldn't help but laugh. If they could see this now they would probably be really embarrassed. Throughout my search I came across several weapons and old leather. Overall I was excited to have found this. Pulling out my small camera I took pictures of everything, for memories only of course. I chuckled at what I should not do, but might do with these pictures. I shook my head.
"Don't let the Isle get to you, take a deep breath." I obeyed myself before smiling. I might be wrong, but I think that it was a good idea for me to come here.
Time Skip
Two days left till I head back for the cotillion and I had not seen Uma since I kissed her. I walked into the fish and chips with a wide smirk on my face before sliding the sword I had sharpened and polished into the sword check and sitting down. Uma came around the counter and froze as she looked at me, her eyes going wide. After a moment she glared and stomped over.
"James." I nodded.
"Uma, I was thinking about the clams so decided to come get some, for the price on the board." She glared before sitting and crossing her legs with a glare as her arms crossed as well.
"I should gut you like a fish." I pulled out my knife and handed it to her hilt first.
"Go for it. None of your goons, you and only you. I wont move." I put my hands out to the side. Not only was she attractive, but in the entire day I watched her and her crew I could tell she cared for them and had potential to be a nice person. She however had frozen and stood up with a huff.
"I just mopped the damn floor you bastard. I don't want it dirty again." I watched her as she left. She turned around halfway through the room and I slowly brought my eyes up from her legs as she had extremely narrowed eyes. I kissed the air and she went wide eyed before shaking her head and going into the back. I chuckled and put my knife away, I won this round.
I was going to leave almost an hour later when I saw Harry walk in with a string of fish and decided it might get interesting. He walked behind the big back table with all the pirates at it and turned on the TV. I saw Mal on it and shook my head. Her as a blond looked like shit. Ben liked the purple better too. Uma walked out of the back and put the food down next to him and threw food at the TV. She then made the entire crew do it. I was shocked when she entered a rant before everyone got excited and grabbed the swords. They showered Uma with praise and did spars and shit until Ursula yelled to shut up and tried to slap Uma with a tentacle. I shook my head at that and stood up. Walking up I put the money for the bill in her hand and nodded as the pirates all glared at me.
"Dinner and a show, so worth a tip." I turned and walked out with a smirk on my face. As I left I heard her.
"James, stop fucking walking away." I turned and smirked at her on top of the stairs of the dock. She came to me and glared.
"Come to the back at 9 tonight." She then slapped me and walked inside. I shook my head before shrugging and walking away.
Line Break
I was thinking about what was pressing to do before I left as I walked to the back door, sword ready to be drawn at a moments notice.
"Your late." Uma said as a door shot open next to me. I laughed.
"What are you, the queen? This is the isle, your lucky I came at all." I said as she rolled her eyes.
"Follow me." She said before turning and walking through the door as I followed. When we came to the basement she turned around to me and rolled her eyes.
"Ok, now why the hell are you flirting with me so bad? And don't think I didn't see you staring at my ass for over an hour." I smiled.
"Have you seen yourself? Your hot as hell and talking to you is enjoyable." She glared and walked up to me before giving me a smile.
"Good." She pushed me back causing me to fall onto what I now know is an almost flat mattress. She then straddled me and pushed my head back against the wall. When her lips crashed on mine I lost all logic.
It wasn't long before I was over her and running my hand up and down her thigh enjoying her not wearing long pants.
"James, stop." I froze and my eyes went wide as she seamed panicked. I met her eyes as she took a breath.
"My stress is gone. Time for you to leave." I growled and stood up taking deep breaths. I looked to her and nodded. Then I stood up and walked to the door.
"Who are you?" Was asked in a soft voice as I turned around. I noticed her holding what looked like a taser in one hand and a knife in the other. I laughed.
"Thought I was going to force myself on you?' She took a breath and nodded.
"Harry ended up in the brig for more than a week. Villains take what they want." I shrugged.
"Villains are one thing, the type to rape, those are monsters. Now beautiful, I am sorry, but you have me all worked up. I need to take matters into my own hands." She blushed before I walked out and down the hall out of her room.
Time skip
I jumped as the door opened unexpectedly. Turning my head I saw a leather clad Mal with purple hair once again. I shook my head.
"Why are you here?" She jumped with extremely wide eyes as she looked to me.
"Harry, what are you doing here? Nobody has seen you in almost a month. If not for Belle saying you were fine Ben was going to send out a search party." I shook my head.
"Well I came over to see about that list you guys all gave me. If you weren't looking for me than why are you here?" She looked panicked before she took a deep breath and her eyes teared up. Sitting down next to me on the couch she sighed.
"I can't be with Ben anymore. When I am over there I always embarrass him. Then yesterday he yelled at me because I used magic, before storming off when I said you use it all the time so who cares." I took a breath.
"Did you use magic and lie to him about it?" She looked to me as a tear fell and I nodded before taking her in my arms.
"That was your problem Mal. Tell the truth. What happened?"
"I was suppose to make him food, but I lost track of time. I used a spell to turn a sandwich into a feast. He found my spell book, and then the fight started." I raised an eyebrow.
"The spell book I remember you saying you were going to donate to the museum?" She nodded with tears now coming down.
"The press has had me so stressed I just don't want to deal with it anymore. Here it.."
"Is very strait forward? Yeah I have noticed." She smirked at me.
"At least you dressed the part." I chuckled.
"Had to fit in. I broke a dudes nose before I was even here five minutes." She giggled and shock her head with a smile.
"So besides being a bad boy, how are you avoiding recognition here? I only know of three Harry's." I smiled.
"I am going by my middle name, James." She nodded.
"That makes more sense. So you came over as a criminal?" I nodded.
"The cover story was I stole Ben's crown off his head." She began to laugh uncontrollably.
"That is amazing. I remember you doing that too." I smiled and nodded.
"That's what gave me the idea." I stretched for a moment before taking a deep breath.
"Your coming back with me tomorrow so I can get ready for the Cotillion. If you don't I will come back with guards and drag you back by force." I laid back down as she was wide eyed. I chuckled.
"My brother is going to be upset enough by then. I wont let him get as depressed as he will be if his date stands him up."
Time Skip
I took a deep breath as I looked at the gates to go to Hades lair. This was something I had to do, even though Mom will be really upset with me. I picked the lock and walked down the cavern. It wasn't long before I heard the barking of a dog. I thought for a moment before laughing. Adam didn't let any dangerous animals in hear, it had to be fake. Arriving at the open cavern I saw him sleeping on a makeshift thrown. I rolled my eyes and pulled the needle off the record. Instantly he jumped up and I saw a subtle glow of his eyes. Taking a deep breath I met his eyes.
"Why did you want to take over Olympus?" He blinked as he sat normal, his face confused.
"What?" I sat on the stairs.
"You tried to take over Olympus, it makes no sense, Zeus wasn't always the best ruler, but you were never a god who seemed to want all the responsibility. Why did you do it?" He took a deep breath.
"You have given this a lot of thought." I nodded.
"Since I was ten and learned wonder boy's story." He laughed and smiled at me.
"Did they tell you about the three witches who can predict stuff with their one eye?" I nodded.
"Zeus was pissed about them trying to fool Perseus and tried to hunt them down. I gave them refuge and they wanted revenge." He looked up.
"This dome not only stops magic, it cancels all spells under it. They had used the century I allowed them in my domain to weave a spell into my subconscious. Once I was under the dome I felt the spell lift." I nodded and stood while taking a deep breath.
"I am Prince Harry, adopted brother of King Ben." His eyes went wide. "I came here over a month ago and wanted to check all the children I could identify about weather or not they could adjust to Auradon. I am going to plead your case to the king, but in return you need to swear on the Styx that you will never try to take over." He smirked and nodded.
"Agreed boy. Long as you allow me revenge on those damn witches." I smiled and shook his hand.
"With that out of the way, do you have any children? That way I can put them on the fast track." He chuckled.
"I only have one and she is dating your brother." I went wide eyed, and slack jawed as he laughed hysterically.
Time Skip
I threw open the door to the clubhouse and froze. Mal, Evie, Carlos, and Jay seemed panicked at something besides the door.
"What the fuck? Mal you told them where you ran away to didn't you? It's official you don't belong here anymore." Evie ran to me before giving me a hug.
"Doug was so worried about you." I laughed as I hugged her back.
"Needed to be secret Evie, didn't want the press to say anything." She nodded before backing up, still sad. I took a breath.
"What happened in the, 13 hours, I was gone today?" Jay took a breath and spoke.
"Ben came over with us. He was recognized and kidnapped by pirates. When Mal confronted Uma, the..." I interrupted.
"I know who Uma is, along with her crew. Crucial details only." He blinked before nodding.
"Well Gill told Harry, who kidnapped him and Mal lost the bet, so we have to bring Fairy Godmother's wand to the ship tomorrow at noon." I sighed.
"Plans?" Carlos nodded.
"Jay and I are going to head over and use my 3d Printer while Mal and Evie are going to make smoke bombs for the escape." I took a deep breath and nodded.
"Good plan, make sure Mal's stuff is in the car before you leave tonight. No need for something important to be left. Including your spell book Mal. When we get back I have the list of people to bring over." I handed a notebook to Jay.
"Keep that safe." The four of them looked at it like it was the bible. I rolled my eyes.
"I suppose it's time to move. See you tomorrow." I turned and walked out.
Line Break
I took deep breaths when I thought about my half cocked plan while I walked to Uma's room. This was do or die. I schooled my expression before I banged on her door. She threw it open with a sword in one hand before her expression dropped.
"James, what are you doing here?" She opened the door and I saw Ben bound and gagged tied to a pipe on the other side of the room. I smirked and changed my plan a bit.
"SO, this is where you put the bastard king." I stepped passed her and put on a soft expression for a moment as Ben's eyes were wide. I ripped the hat off his head and laughed evilly.
"First I get sent over here for taking your crown, now I take your hat." I threw the old hat I was wearing to the ground and pulled on his knit one. Uma came up behind me.
"I forgot about that. Your revenge won't come right now though. I need him unharmed for the exchange tomorrow." I turned to her with an expression of anger.
"Define unharmed." I said before backhanding my brother loudly, but not painfully.
"No evidence there." She shook her head.
"I gave my word he would be unharmed. Touch him again and your leaving," I growled, but nodded and sat on the almost flat mattress.
"You really plan to let that purple haired traitor walk away with him?" She narrowed her eyes.
"Your not usually this mean." I laughed.
"You don't usually have the king in your room." She shook her head before picking up a water bottle and taking off Ben's gag. She poured the water down his throat before sighing.
"How do you feel about James here?" He sighed.
"I thought he would have respected me. I wasn't exactly an evil king." She laughed and shoved the gag back into his mouth.
"We are your people too." She came over and sat next to me.
"You willing to help me and my crew tomorrow? I will get you out of the barrier." I nodded.
"Sounds good to me." I took a deep breath before smiling at her.
"How about another round of stress relief?" She rolled her eyes.
"Is this part of that flirting thing you mentioned before?" I laughed.
"Yes it is, I promise, no farther then we went last time." She gave me a look.
"Empty your pockets onto the shelf over there and ok." I shrugged and smirked as I past Ben before emptying a dozen or so pocket knives, two buck knives, my money sack, and a Monkey fist wrapped around a stone I could use as a mace. She smiled as I went back over and crashed my lips onto hers. She giggled against my lips as I pushed her onto her back.
Time Skip
We were on the deck of the Jolly Roger with Ben tied to the mast as I sat next to Uma when Ben glared at me and spoke in french.
"So this is where you have been? Do you have any idea how on edge Mom has been? She has a countdown until when you return." I stood and glared back understanding what he was doing as Uma seamed confused, but also taken back.
"Someone had to check on the people over here, your right you haven't been a bad king, but you have been too busy to figure out this stuff. I sent Jay back over with a list of who should be redeemable." I took out a knife with a wink before Uma grabbed my arm.
"James, I told you last night, unharmed." I sighed and turned around.
"Why is he even here?" I spun and threw the knife causing it to go through his cuff pinning his hand above Ben's head as his eyes went wide. I chuckled.
"If memory serves pirates can challenge for a position. How about it Harry, ready to finally need to count past two." The monkey fist shot out with a flick of my wrist before wrapping around the knife as I pulled it back to me. Uma stepped up.
"Calm down now!" She took a breath.
"Two minutes till noon, Harry bring the king to the plank, James get ready to fight, Mal is crafty." I rolled my eyes as I watched Ben go to the plank.
"I love you Harry, your my brother and I am sorry."
"Love you too Ben you wont die here. I promise." I said before spitting at him and glaring.
Line Break
Mal and the gang plus Lonnie? Arrived and Uma began to argue with her before Ben said it was a loose, loose. I rolled my eyes as Uma shook her head.
"Too easy, do a spell, prove it's real." Mal smirked before Uma narrowed her eyes, and shook her head.
"Nothing big." I thought for a moment, knowing it was fake before I smirked.
"Are we even sure the purple bitch knows any magic?" I said before Mal snapped her eyes to me and I nodded. She glared.
"For now you stand, now try to land." I went wide eyed before doing a back flip off the ship into the water with a loud splash. I shook my head as I surfaced while I heard a lot of arguing. Finally getting around the bow of the ship I saw the exchange happening when they separated I took out my pocket knife and threw it into the rope on the gangway. Several more followed it as Uma yelled a loud spell and nothing happened. I smirked as I began to climb up the ladder on the other side. Harry ran at the group before the dock shook and collapsed under his feet with him and three others splashing into the water.
"James, get them!" I frowned and shook my head before drawing my knives as Carlos shot smoke bombs onto the ship. Jay came over and engaged me in a sword fight where we telegraphed our moves to the point I wanted to laugh as Mal and Lonnie dragged Ben through the tube I knew would lead to the garage they probably put the car in. Three pirates landed on the dock behind me as I sighed.
"Go, get my brother to safety." He nodded before turning and running through the pipe as I kicked the plank letting it fall into the water as I turned to the wide eyed pirates. Uma stalked forward. Her expression murderous.
"You betrayed me." She said through gritted teeth. I dropped my daggers and nodded.
"I did." I felt a smack to the back of my head before I blacked out.
Time Skip
I woke up in a swaying jail cell, in nothing but my underwear. I shook my head.
"This must be the brig." I said looking around.
"Yes, it is." Harry said as he came around the corner and glared at me.
"I am going to hook you, then gut you as soon as Uma says it's ok. Before that, she has questions for you." I rolled my eyes.
"Well I guess I can answer some questions before I escape." He laughed.
"Escape! How do you plan to do that Hero." I smirked.
"Who do you think I am? A villain who will monologue so you know all my plans. I am not that stupid." In actuality I had not figured that out yet. He glared.
"You calling villains stupid?" I nodded.
"Yup." He swung his hook into the cell as I saw my chance. I grabbed his arm and pulled as hard as I could. His head clashed with the bar with a loud clang as he dropped like a sack of bricks. Searching his pockets I found the keys.
I made the top deck after finding my clothes and weapons in a box where Harry came from.
"Why did you betray me?" I froze and turned around looking at a tired and hurt Uma. The sky was dark so I knew it had been at least a few hours. I took a breath.
"I am Prince Harry James Potter, Adopted brother of King Ben." Her eyes went wide. "I came over to see which children could be redeemed and which ones enjoyed the villain life too much to change." She nodded.
"So I was used by a Prince for stress relief." She shook her head with a sad chuckle.
"I should have known I couldn't find happiness." She took a deep breath before standing up.
"You need to get my sister off of the isle. She doesn't deserve it." I frowned.
"You have a sister?" She took a breath.
"My father is Dr. Felicitor. Freddy is my sister, but not many know that." I nodded.
"Your on the list to get off as soon as possible." Her eyes went wide.
"What are you talking about? I run a pirate crew." I nodded.
"But you run it like a business, Harry tells people what to do through fear, you have their loyalty." She shook her head.
"No they fear me." I rolled my eyes.
"I can get you off this rock tonight, as long as you leave Harry in the brig." She looked like I was torturing her.
"I kidnapped your brother, put you in the brig after stripping you, and yet you offer me a way off. Why?" I smiled.
"Why am I not dead?"
"I told them… that...me?" I nodded.
"Lets go beautiful." I held out my hand as she hesitantly reached out for it.
"UUUUMMMMAAAAAA!" Harry yelled from the brig as she recoiled her hand.
"He will starve before someone lets him out. Where is the key?" I chuckled.
"In his hat. All he has to do is take it off, but I need to go, what will it be?" She took a breath. She then met my eyes before shutting hers and taking my hand. I smiled.
"Follow me." I said before running to the garbage station without letting go of the smiling dark skinned pirate to my side.
Line Break
I flashed the light before looking at my watch.
"Two hours before the cotillion begins. Will you allow me the honor of escorting you as my date?" She frowned.
"James… Harry… I told you before we don't date over here." I smiled.
"James is my middle name, I have no problem with you calling me that. More importantly you will only be on the isle for another ten minutes or so, then we will be in Auradon, where, just so you know, if I kiss you without dating you the press will tear me apart." She giggled.
"So after everything you did you still expect me to be willing to kiss you?" I smirked.
"Only if you want. You might have locked Harry in the brig for a few days after he tried something, over there it would have been jail for a while." She went wide eyed.
"Really? They don't just send everyone over here?" I shook my head.
"No, this is for career criminals and murderers. Besides Ben stopped that. Did you not notice I was the only one to be shipped over in almost six months?" She shook her head.
"I never thought about it." A light flashed over the water and illuminated us as I smiled towards it.
"Are you ready to break out from under your mothers tentacle? To lead your own life?" She took a breath.
"Your gonna get Freddy off too?" I nodded.
"Within a few weeks I should be able to arrange it."
"And what do you get out of this?" I chuckled.
"The feeling I tried to make the world a better place than it was." She shook her head.
"I should have known when you didn't push for more that you weren't a villain." I chuckled as the boat crossed the barrier and came up to us. I removed my hat and used the nearby water to clean all the grime from my face. The captain smiled widely.
"Prince Harry, I am pleased to see your alright." I nodded.
"This is Uma, she is coming with us as my guest, understood?" He bowed deeply.
"Of course your majesty." I jumped down onto the boat a held up a hand for Uma who jumped past me with a smirk.
"Not a damsel in distress." The captain smirked.
"Queen Belle's kids certainly like the feisty ones." I raised an eyebrow back at him.
"Makes life worth living don't you think?" He laughed.
"My wife is the same." He pushed the throttle and spun the boat quickly.
He held up a golden remote as we approached the barrier and pressed it before it formed around us and instantly I felt my powers return to me as I laughed.
"It has been way too long." Waving my hand my clothing shed the dirt and grime and I felt much cleaner than I have in weeks.
"Your magical!" Uma yelled next to me as I turned to her with a smile.
"Yup." I then cleaned her as well as she shivered at the feeling.
"You came to a place you couldn't use your powers, just to see if kids are redeemable?" I nodded.
"Yes I did, why?" She shook her head.
"Your crazy is all." I chuckled.
"If you say so."
Line break
When we reached the dock Mom was there and attacked me with a hug the second I touched the shore.
"Harry I was so worried about you. The Ben came back saying you helped him escape a pirate named Uma. He started to gather the guards before I got the call about you getting the ride." I hugged her tightly before I pulled back.
"Don't worry Mom I am fine. I also would like you to meet my date for the cotillion. This is Uma." She did a double take before narrowing her eyes at me.
"You always did like things interesting." She released me with one hand before holding out another to Uma.
"It is nice to meet you Uma, my name is Belle." A now wide eyed Uma looked between us before taking a breath.
"It is good to meet you Belle?" She said like a question. I chuckled.
"We will work on it, no need to establish dominance here." She nodded with confusion, but excepted it. Mom smiled.
"It is nice for Harry to finally have someone special. Harry I will need to get your date a dress. You go ahead to the castle so we can go to the store." I frowned.
"But Mom..."
"No buts, I didn't want you going over there in the first place. Now go get yourself ready for the party so Uma can change on the way home. We are limited on time because you wanted to play hero according to Jay." I frowned.
"Ok Mom, I love you." She kissed my cheek.
"Love you too. Now go." I smiled to Uma and did a more thorough cleaning spell as she shivered again.
"See you soon Beautiful." I said with a nod before apperating to my room and walking to the bathroom. Something you never appreciate until it is gone is running water.
3rd POV
When Harry disappeared with a crack Belle turned to Uma with an appraising eye.
"Mal gave my son a love potion that almost killed him. You are not immediately on my bad side, however I do want to know how all this comes into play." Uma nodded sadly.
"Well, I first met..." Belle giggled.
"In the limo Dear, we need to get you your dress for the party." Uma allowed herself a small smirk.
"So your not mad?" Belle sighed.
"Upset, not mad, now lets get the whole story on the way." When Uma stepped into the Limo her eyes where at risk of popping out of her head. There was a section of candy next to a section of bottled drinks. Belle chuckled as she entered.
"Everything here is one of Harry's favorites."
"I know him as James." Uma said quietly. Belle laughed.
"Harry James Potter, I am pleased he didn't lie even over there." Uma chuckled.
"He said he stole the king's crown off his head." Belle giggled with a hand in front of her mouth.
"Harry is playful. The press was writing an interview when he summoned the crown from across the room shocking the reporter who was not asking appropriate questions. He then said 'Ben you never have to worry about a double chin with how heavy this is.' it became a scandal because the reporter called it an attempt to steal the throne." Uma laughed, while wondering if James lied at all when he was over there.
"So, tell me how Harry met you." Uma smiled.
"Well I was working in my mothers restaurant..."
Harry POV
I walked out of my room wearing a suit fit for, well, a prince.
"Harry!" I heard before I was grabbed from behind. I smirked at Ben before I spun around and hugged him properly. He stepped back shaking his head.
"I am so glad your back. Did Uma hurt you or..." I covered his mouth with my hand.
"Believe it or not I would rather deal with Uma for a month than Audrey for five minutes. She is a really good person who was just very confused." He took a breath before nodding.
"Like Mal in the beginning with the museum and the Love Potion?" We both shivered at that.
"Yeah. I brought her back with me." He shook his head with a smile.
"I should have known. Last night was weird to watch. Oh and by the way." He backhanded me across the face making me stumble. I held my cheek for a bit.
"Fair enough." He then embraced me again.
"Thank you for talking to Mal." I nodded.
"What are brother's for? You need to get her out of the spotlight though." He nodded with a sigh.
"Yeah I was told." I smirked and held out a hand.
"Shortcut to the limo?' He smiled.
"It's been a while. Definitely." He took my hand and we disappeared with a crack.
We reappeared at the limo as the guards jumped while we both laughed. As we went to enter I looked around.
"Mal not going with you?' He shook his head with a sigh.
"Meeting me there. I figured the press wouldn't jump at her when she is in the middle of a bunch of students." I nodded.
"Makes sense, can't wait to see everyone's face when my date shows though." He smirked.
"Where is she anyway?" I laughed.
"Mom took her for a dress. I assume she is going to be talking with her while on the way as well." Ben chuckled.
"If she can forgive Mal she can forgive her." He said with confidence as the limo started to move." I nodded and sighed.
"Finally comfy chairs. Yeah I know. Pretty sure that mom could forgive anyone who is honest with her." He nodded to accept my point.
"Hopefully Mal can forgive me." He said softly. I laughed.
"Ok, gotta ask, you were mad about the lying about magic right? Not the use of it?" He sighed and held his head, but nodded.
"I know I have been pushing her and need to stop. If she had said she forgot to cook so used magic I would have accepted it. Mom pointed out a few days ago how much the Queen or in this case the kings Consort." He said consort with disgust, having never liked the term. "Has to deal with and do. Unfortunately with me still adjusting to the kingship I didn't think about that. Usually I would have gone to you for advice." I laughed.
"Hey, I told you I was going somewhere and felt it was an important mission." He rolled his eyes.
"Yeah, we will talk about that in a few days. So you went by James over there?" I laughed and nodded.
"Not gonna lie it was a lot of fun not being recognized as a royal." He chuckled.
"And kissing Uma I assume?" I smirked.
"I will explain my full trip next week. Let me have fun being back." He nodded with a chuckle.
"Fair enough. You ready for your first press in a month?" I sighed.
"Not even close." We both burst into laughter as the limo pulled up to the docks.
With Uma
Uma was truly excited for the second time of her life. The first time was when James had held her hand as they crossed the barrier, even if he didn't realize he did it. Now she was in a beautiful blue beaded dress, riding in the back of a limo while the former Queen Belle did her hair for her while humming. She was reminiscing about the talk they had had while they drove to the store and tried on dresses. Belle had quickly understood how much pressure she had been under and made her feel welcome. The explanation that Harry had given for why she came over with him made Belle smile and giggle. That was the other shocking thing for her. Being happy was encouraged here, not looked down on. She was willing to sell her soul for the possibility of Freddy being this happy all the time.
"No need to frown my dear. I am sure Harry will convince his brother about your sister quickly." Uma blinked and looked up in the mirror seeing a smiling Belle fixing the last of her hair into a wonderful bun with glittering barrettes throughout.
"How did you know what I was thinking about?" Belle smiled at the girl and scooted back as Uma turned to fully face her.
"Your face had guilt on it. Mal and them try to hide it as much as possible, however with how much I interact with them I have learned to pick it up. From what you said it would have been either your sister or your leaving the hook boy in your brig." Uma sighed.
"How do you know he can convince him?" She smiled.
"The others were here a month before Harry heard them comment about the food. Within hours he had his brother writing a proclamation to send over canned goods." Uma smiled.
"That was James… um Harry?" Belle laughed.
"Call him whatever you want dear, and yes, Ben has been extremely busy with his kingly duties, and schoolwork. His father stopped doing most of the kingly duties after an event where Ben was upset by his actions, that was almost a week before the coronation. A lot of the problems that were left alone began to get larger and larger." Uma nodded.
"Like with the ship. A small hole, if left alone, quickly becomes harder to handle. I am sorry I blamed Ben for everything." She shook her head.
"You had no way of knowing. Now we appear to be arriving at the docks. Head strait, smile and please remember the press like to write bad stories. It is more entertaining to read and sells papers to those who don't know the truth." Uma took a deep breath and nodded before putting on a smile and stepping out.
"I have mentioned this three times. This will be the last time. Please ensure everyone is listening.
"I was on a secret mission that required someone with my abilities to do. Yes I am fine, no I do not want my brother's crown. I am much to lazy for the amount of responsibility he has. Thank you and good day, I need to go with the king to the party. Otherwise, looking this good was a waste." James said before getting down off the podium and throwing an arm around the King's shoulder and walking away as they muttered. Belle sighed, but a smile was on her face.
"So James is cocky over here as well?" Belle looked to Uma.
"He uses sarcasm to cover his fears and nervousness. He only appears that way." Uma frowned but nodded before following the woman behind a security guard and away from the press and boarding the largest ship she had ever seen.
Harry POV
I walked onto the ship with a groan. Turning to Ben I sighed.
"I swear they are even worse than before." He sighed.
"I think that is part of why Mal panicked so much." I nodded.
"She wasn't raised in it, and things are beyond different over there, trust me." He rolled his eyes.
"I still want that report. Actually as king I demand it in two days in my office." I rolled my eyes and punched his arm.
"Treason then cause if I am still tired you need to wait three." He burst into laughter and shook his head.
"I missed you Harry. Next time I promise I wont argue, but I want to know your plans." I shook my head.
"I don't think your going to like what I have to say about one of the adults." He froze and took a deep breath.
"Ever since we were kids there was one villain you could never understand why." He took a deep breath.
"You really ended up talking to him." I nodded.
"Yes I did, and it was quite revealing." He shook his head.
"Two days Harry. Get back in the swing of things and I need this report." I nodded with a sigh.
"Ok Ben, ok." We split up for him to go to the top of the staircase and I watched him leave.
"I hope my two sons are not mad at each other?" I broke into a smile and turned to Mom before I felt my jaw drop. Uma was in a beautiful blue dress that revealed her figure she usually had hidden under the heavy leather jacket. It came down to mid calf showing just enough of her legs to attract my attention. Blue sandals completed the outfit, matching the barrettes in her hair. I saw a blush on her face as Mom giggled.
"I think he liked the dress dear." Mom came over and gave me a hug and kissed my head before walking over to where Ben went. Uma stepped up putting her fingers behind her ear to put a small tuft of hair behind it.
"I couldn't manage the heels. I fell a few times." I shook my head and cleared my throat.
"You are beautiful, don't even worry about it." I said before gently pulling her close and giving her a light kiss. She had a slight pout at how short it was, but I simply laughed.
"Lets go Uma. I have some people to introduce you too." She took on a fearful look for a second before schooling herself into her captain persona. I shook my head.
"No, there is no need to intimidate here. Just be yourself. Smile and talk, fighting is not how you get respect over here." I waved my hand in the air with a deep focus and conjured a blue rose. Sliding it in behind her ear she blushed once again and I smiled. With that she was smiling as I lead her out onto the deck of the ship.
"OH, MY GOD! IT'S HARRY!" Someone yelled as we reached the deck and all attention was brought to us as we entered. I felt Uma tighten her hand on mine and chuckled.
"Where I didn't see him?" I said with a smile as Uma gave me a curious look. Laughter rang out before the student's all began to charge us as I frowned and sighed. FG however jumped in between us and the large group.
"Did nobody notice the young girl on his arm? Let's give her a warm welcome instead of a panic attack." Everyone looked ashamed before they went back to dancing as only the VKs, Lonnie, Doug, and Jane stayed to talk to us. FG nodded with a smile before turning around.
"Hello Deary, I am Fairy Godmother. It is wonderful to make your acquaintance." She then shook her hand as Uma smiled.
"I am Uma. Nice to meet you?" She glanced to me and I nodded with a chuckle. FG looked between us before her eyes went wide.
"I see, that is where you were. I still expect you to catch up in classes." I chuckled.
"Yes FG no problem." She then walked away as the VKs and their dates closed in. Lonnie spoke up first while looking at me.
"Your sure she isn't going to attack us?" I smirked, but nodded.
"Yes Lonnie, Uma is taking her chance seriously." Lonnie burst into a wide smile at that.
"Wonderful." She then gave a shocked Uma a hug and removed her from my arm, pulling her to the others. Uma gave me a fearful glance as she walked away, but I simply smiled and nodded before mouthing that 'Lonnie is nice.' She nodded back with a deep breath and began to talk.

It had now been almost an hour and we had only set sail ten minutes ago. The trombones began to play announcing the arrival of people when I slid my arms around my date's waist from behind for the first time since Lonnie stole her away. Uma jumped before she realized it was me.
"James don't do that without telling me." Evie smirked at us.
"You couldn't even bring yourself to lie on the isle huh?" I shrugged figuring Uma must have told them things.
"Lying would upset Mom and myself." She rolled her eyes as they chuckled.
"Ok then, James." I smirked as Mal came down the stairs and met up with our group. There was a glance between Mal and Uma for a moment before she looked to me.
"You sure?" I nodded. She then smiled at Uma.
"Welcome to Auradon." Uma smiled and nodded back from my arms. The trumpets went off again and we all turned to see my brother come down the stairs, smiling at Mal the entire time. Mal stepped up and the embraced before the music began to play and dancing began. I leaned into Uma's ear.
"Wanna know a perk of dating me?" She giggled.
"Whats that?" I laughed.
"That is my brother." I said with a chuckled before I let go of her waist and took a few steps to begin dancing around next to my brother as he chuckled. Uma however had a look of happiness on her face. Midway through the dance I smiled at Ben and he nodded back. I smirked at a smiling Uma before performing a switching spell and I was suddenly dancing with Mal. There were several laughs from the audience and I saw Mom giggling behind her hand. I also took pleasure in the look on Adam's face.
"So you brought Uma back?" I looked to a smirking Mal.
"On that note." I swapped us back and smiled at a glaring Uma. I chuckled.
"Sorry?" I said as she shook her head.
"Just don't do it again." She said with a smile. I nodded.
"You got it, beautiful." When the song finished Ben and I bowed in unison to our girls and everyone joined us on the floor for dancing.

By the time the ship docked Uma was exhausted and had a few new allies. Friendships would come for the pirate later. Uma was holding my hand with a wide smile on my face as we got into the limo. She looked to me and sighed.
"I don't have a home here? Where will I stay?" I shrugged.
"In the dungeon." Her eyes went wide as I burst into laughter and she finally caught on. I hugged her and sighed.
"There is a guest room next to mine in the palace. Adam might have a guard watching your room, but that is cause he is an ass. I promise you are not under arrest." She took a deep breath.
"Ok. I guess I can trust you." I nodded.
"If you need anything during the night than just knock on my door. Are you full? Cause I could call ahead and have some food brought to your room." She smiled.
"Maybe just some water to drink." I nodded with a smile.
"Of course." She leaned into my shoulder as I called Mrs. Potts and explained I have a guest who is staying the night and thirsty. When we arrived and got out of the car I heard Mom and Adam muttering before Adam began to walk over with a look on his face. I sighed.
"What is the meaning of you not only going to the isle with only Belle knowing, but then bringing back the daughter of Ursula without permission?" He demanded as I spotted Ben narrowing his eyes at his father. I took Uma's hand to stop the fear I could see in her eyes.
"What has she done that you would punish her for?" He was taken back.
"She is the daughter..."
"WHAT..." I yelled as he shut up. "law has she broken?" He glared.
"Is that how you feel about Mal?" Ben said with venom in his voice. Adam spun around looking at Ben.
"Ben, Mal is a different case?" Ben shook his head.
"Only because she has been here longer. Uma has broken no laws and will be allowed to stay in Auradon. I am having a meeting with Harry in a couple days about the isle and how to improve it. Along with who deserves a chance over here." Adam turned to me and his eyes morphed to a glare. I rolled my eyes and looked past him.
"Love you Mom. I will see you soon." I turned to Uma as Adam began to talk to me and I ignored him.
"Ignore him. Take a deep breath and breath out, the first time is always unpleasant." She was shaking slightly, but took a deep breath. When she released it we apparated to my dorm at school. She collapsed to her knees and took deep breaths as I smiled at the still impeccable room.
"Where are we?" She asked as she stood up, no longer looking sick.
"Ben and my dorm room. We are at the school." She looked around.
"This was for two people? It looks five times bigger than mine." I nodded with a frown and went to the dresser. Pulling out some old clothes I transformed them into loose clothes for her.
"There is a bathroom through there with a shower. And here are some clothes. We only have about 30 hours before the magic will revert them. Tomorrow I will bring you to buy some things, and we can find a place to stay since I guess Adam is disowning me before I turn 18. The day after that I need to talk to Ben about the isle and your sister." I gave her shocked face a kiss on the cheek with a chuckle.
"You take Ben's bed. I have a feeling he hasn't used it in a while." With that I turned around and fell face first into my bed. I chuckled.
"Oh yeah I have missed this." I said smiling at the comfort. I was asleep seconds later.
Line break
Waking up to a knocking on the door I groaned at having to wake up. When the knocking rang out again I froze for a second before smiling.
"James, can you please answer the door so I can get back to sleep? These beds are amazing." I chuckled and looked to Uma in Ben's bed.
"Ok Uma, I will let you sleep." I stood up and opened the door before going wide eyed as Mom, and Fairy Godmother were there. I cleared my throat.
"Uma, I have a feeling we are not going back to sleep." Mom embraced me in a tight hug.
"Harry, I am so sorry you felt you couldn't sleep at home. Why didn't you take your phone? I had called a dozen times before I found it." I chuckled.
"I had no use for one on the isle." She chuckled before letting go and entering the room taking in the beds and a wide eyed Uma in the transfigured clothes. She turned to me smiling.
"Good, you appear to have been a gentleman." She sat on my bed and smiled at me.
"Thank you FG I can take it from here." FG was smiling.
"Of course your highness." Mom rolled her eyes as FG shut the door and I sat on the bed. Mom handed my phone to me with a smile and gestured for Uma to join us on my bed.
"Now, I heard a bit from Uma about you on the isle now I want to hear the entire story from you." I chuckled and nodded.
"Ok Mom." Uma smiled and came over.
"This should be fun. There were a lot of rumors about you." I chuckled.
"I spread most of those actually." Mom giggled.
"Ok, story time." I nodded and entered my tale.
By the end of my story both Uma and Mom were laughing at some of the things and cringing at others. Mom narrowed her eyes.
"So you spent the night before you came back in bed with a woman, with your brother tied to a pipe." I chuckled as Uma went wide eyed.
"Mom, I promise I was respectful." She nodded.
"And the parts you edited?" I sighed.
"Mom, I don't want to tell you about the fights I got into." She sighed, but nodded.
"I understand, however I don't want you doing that again." I chuckled.
"We need to find a way for the kids on the isle to better themselves." She sighed and nodded again.
"That was one aspect I never liked about the isle. Ben will probably be much more lenient about it than Adam was." I chuckled.
"After last night, Maleficent might..."
"HARRY!" Mom cut me off with a yell. I bowed my head, not wanting to upset her.
"Harry, sweetie, he is a good man. He is simply not enjoying how the things he built were revealed to be worse than intended." I held up my hands as a surrender. She hugged me and kissed my head before looking to Uma.
"Dear transfigured clothing is fine for now, however we need to get you into some of your own. I am going to grab Mal and see if I could take the two of you out for a day on the town. Hopefully I can be a buffer that brings you two together. Harry, you have schoolwork to do." She stood and left the room before shutting the door. I looked to Uma.
"I am taking another shower. Can you try to get my clothes from yesterday from your mom? The water pressure is amazing. And it stays hot!" She said with a smirk before running into the bathroom and slamming the door. I shook my head before opening my phone and seeing all the missed calls and one resent message.
I will be bringing Uma's clothing up after I speak with Mal. I forgot it in the limo. Love Mom.
I smirked at not needing to do anything before putting the phone on loud and laying down with a sigh. When it dinged I looked at it.
I also had FG email your make up work to you, and your printer has new ink and plenty of paper. Get to work. Love Mom.
I groaned and sat up going over to my computer and opening my private email.
"137 assignments." I said with a sigh and shook my head. Looking at the bathroom door I smiled.
"Worth it."
With Uma
Uma started the shower and took off her clothes before hearing a loud ding from the other room. Creeping to the door she let her isle instincts take over and laid on the floor barely seeing James sit at a computer.
"137 assignments." He said with a groan in his voice. She began to feel bad at how behind being on the isle made him. It was upsetting her more because it was a new feeling for her. When he turned and smiled at the door, looking like he was looking at the sky from her vantage point.
"Worth it." He turned back to the computer with a wide smile and she sat there on the floor. Her face slowly morphed into a wide smile.
"He thinks I am worth it." She whispered before standing up and getting into the shower. Memories flashing through her mind of her mother saying she would never amount to anything. She shook her head as the water ran over her in a wonderful way she was not used to.
"HE, thinks I am worth it. Mother doesn't matter." With the new mindset she focused on the strange soaps in the bathroom to find one she liked.
Line break
I was rubbing my head thinking about how I should address things with Ben. I had done over thirty assignments and wanted a break so took my bike for a ride to the castle. Now I was knocking on Ben's door as I thought about where to even start. The door opened and Ben was staring at me holding my notebook.
"Why are there stars next to some of the names?" I blinked at him before laughing.
"Well at least now I know where to start." I said with a smile as he rolled his eyes.
"Well come in Harry." He went over to his desk and I sat down with a sigh.
"Two stars is a child under five, and a single star is under ten." He nodded with a smile.
"The ones who there is no way they deserve to be over there." I chuckled and nodded. He smiled and looked to me.
"Ok, now what do you have to say about people I need to get off immediately? I assume you have a list. I nodded.
"Freddy Felicitor and Hades, plus anyone with a star." He face palmed.
"Harry. You know how the kingship works. I can't just do whatever I want I need to convince others of the need." I sighed and nodded.
"Ok fine, Freddy is Uma's sister, and part of the reason she is willing to accept whatever I am putting her through, and Hades already has a child over here, plus was under a spell by those creepy witches. He has also agreed to swear on the river Styx, which if you remember, is extremely binding." He held his head in his hands.
"I assume I don't need to defend my decision about the under ten crowd, I mean come on." He held out a hand.
"Shut up." He said before sighing and turning to his computer and clicking a few times. I heard the printer start.
"Your gonna fill out the forms for them when you get back to the school. I also have a form giving you permission to bunk with a female so FG doesn't get mad. Now I want to hear your trip from the top." I nodded.
"Fight's too?"
"Fights too." I took a deep breath.
"Well after we docked the captain threw me off the boat. It was awesome." He face palmed at my beginning however I continued.
Line Break
Three hours later I was finally done with my story and he had printed up three more forms.
"Ok, that is quite the story. You really left Harry Hook in the brig screaming with the keys under his hat?" I laughed.
"Yes I did." He chuckled and lifted his phone with a frown.
"When you talked to Mal how mad was she? She hasn't texted me all day." I laughed.
"Mom took her and Uma out for a day on the town. She probably either forgot her phone or is having fun." He smiled and sighed in relief.
"Thank god. So you have royal homework to do, how much schoolwork do you need to catch up on?" I groaned.
"A lot." He laughed.
"Serves you right. Now how do we handle the children? Your list of stars is huge." I shrugged.
"I have no idea, but I refuse to abandon them." He nodded.
"That was never an option, Uma is right. They are my people too." I smiled and nodded at him. He blinked for a second then narrowed his eyes at me.
"Harry, how hard is it to enlarge a spell dome?" I narrowed my eyes.
"Depends on the added space and how the power to sustain it is gathered. Why?" He smirked and looked out the window at fleet of boats.
"I have people I need to talk to. No offense Harry, but I don't want your magic anywhere within the isle's dome. We need to keep it a single person's so that is isn't as vulnerable." I nodded with a sigh.
"SO what are your thoughts?" He leaned forward.
"What if we retrofit one of the yachts we never use into a school for the children. We could also have applications to come to Auradon." I smiled.
"We need advice about the isle attitude from more than just me. I was only there for a month." He leaned back and sighed.
"Let me talk to FG and the builders for ideas. Maybe two weeks we will get all the VK's in Auradon here for a meeting." I nodded.
"Will that involve Freddy?" He narrowed his eyes before sighing and walking over to the printer. He wrote something small on 8 pages before handing me the stack.
"I will figure out a different form for Hades. Finish these and I will prepare space." I looked at the names seeing Freddy, Dizzy, and several others from my story.
"None of these kids are under twelve." He nodded.
"Officially the law from a few generations ago is still on the books saying at 13 you can apply for emancipation. The school will have once with parental signature for studying abroad. I can only do so much so fast." I held up my hands.
"Sorry Ben, I know this is a lot." He nodded.
"See that place has made it jump a few pegs on importance. Any chance you found out who Mal's father is while you were there? I want to propose soon, but want to do it right even if it is only a letter." I laughed so hard I fell on the floor. He rubbed his eyes.
"Please tell me I am not screwed." I finally calmed down and smiled at him.
"Mal's father is Hades." His head fell and smacked into his desk with a loud bang.
Line Break
I was looking through the papers I had to fill out for Ben as I walked into my room. Sitting at the table I dropped my helmet to the floor and sighed before taking out a pen and starting on the forms.
"What is the helmet for?" I jumped in freight as I heard giggling.
"Harry's go to vehicle is a motorcycle." I turned and saw Mal and Uma sitting on Ben's bed with clothes and notebooks between them. I sighed and sat back down.
"I see you two are back, how was the trip?" I asked as Uma and Mal giggled. Uma smiled at me.
"It was really good. I can definitely see why they didn't ruin it." I nodded with a smile and turned back to my paperwork.
"By the way Mal, Ben wants to talk about your father. I might have told him who it was." I went back to my paperwork as Uma gasped.
"Mal who is your father, nobody on the isle knows." She took a deep breath.
"I need to tell Ben before I talk about it to anyone else."
"I understand." I tried to ignore them and focus on the paperwork. Most of it was just information he needed. When I finished I put it into a drawer and locked it before collapsing on my bed as the girl talked.
Soon enough FG came into the room as I was relaxing.
"Mal Dear, it is 30 minutes till curfew. I was wondering if you would mind Uma sharing with you and Evie? As much as I trust Harry, I can't just break the school rules." I groaned as I sat up.
"Hang on." I reached into my inside jacket pocket and pulled out the note Ben gave me for permission. Handing her the envelope I laid back down.
"Ben said that should cover whatever you need for whatever." I said tiredly. I heard her rip it open before grunting.
"Very well, but I am putting monitoring spells on the beds. One gender per bed. Understand? Even during the day she wont be sitting on your bed, or you hers." I wave a bored hand.
"Yeah whatever. Might want to spell a privacy screen for the far side of the room too. That way she can change and stuff." I could hear the surprise.
"That is a wonderful idea, I will just need a moment." I listened as she mumbled and I felt magic enter my bed before she walked away and repeated the process.
"Uma dear, this is your safe space, no sound, or males can go through this barrier. On the inside you will be able to see through it perfectly." I turned my head and smirked at the blue barrier blocking off from her bed to the wall, only leaving space for me to walk to the bathroom. Uma nodded with wide eyes.
"Thank you FG." She said with a smile.
"Your quite welcome. Harry." She narrowed her eyes at me.
"Behave." I nodded and turned my head.
"Wouldn't want to disappoint Mom anyway." I heard a deep sigh before FG left the room and Mal said good bye to me and Uma. It took a moment.
"James?" She asked in a soft voice. I turned my head to look at her. She took a deep breath.
"Your mom mentioned how you understand the VK's more then most in Auradon. She wouldn't tell me how though?" I took a deep breath.
"Ask again in the morning. It isn't a story for right before bed." She nodded with a confused look on her face.
"How am I going to learn how to act here? It's so different." I chuckled.
"Goodness 101, its a new class." She sighed and laid down.
"If you say so." I smirked and went to bed.
Time Skip
Uma had tears in her eyes as she looked at me when I finished telling her about my relatives.
"You really can understand." She said before frowning.
"When you held me the night you spent the night? I felt safe. Is there any way we can do that now?" I sighed and stood up.
"Not here, FG put the alarms on the beds remember? But I can teleport us to my room in the castle if you want. Then we can relax for a bit." She nodded and stood before taking my hand as I teleported us to my room. She looked around wide eyed as I laid down in the bed trying to calm myself down. I hate telling people about it. She crawled over the bed and I wrapped my arms around her.
"Thank you Har… James. This would be frowned on at home." I chuckled.
"Call me James. It will help separate me from the one who pushed you, and over here it is only frowned on because of our age. But I will hold you like this whenever you need. I enjoy this as well." She sighed as I felt her relax in my arms.
"Ok James. Hopefully my sister has a chance at this soon." I smiled and kissed her neck.
"I have the forms for her and others on my desk in our room. I already talked to Ben and he agreed for some of the kids." She turned around and began to make out with me. I pushed her back however and saw her face and shook my head.
"You owe me nothing. Lets get back to cuddling. I told you my story, I am sure you understand why I want people off that island." She nodded as a single tear came down her cheek.
"You really didn't do it to convince me of anything?" I shook my head.
"No ulterior motive. You could tell me you don't want to be my girlfriend and I would still hand Ben those papers tonight when I retrieve them." She curled in on herself, now facing me as I held her tightly.
"It is really safe here? You promise I wont be sent back or forced to do things?" I nodded.
"I promise."
3rd POV
Adam stood outside his adopted son's room after hearing the crack of the teleportation he hated so much. He was going to interrupt before he began to eavesdrop instead. He had heard how vulnerable the pirate he never learned the name of sounded and couldn't help but relate it to Belle when she first arrived and he was a beast. He went back to his room to think alone when a soft pop sounded and his head snapped up. Agatha the Enchantress stood there with a frown on her face.
"When I cursed you it was to have the inside visible on the outside. If I did so again, would you look any better than before? Or was it all a waste." She asked before she sat down as Adam knelt on the floor and began to cry.
"I never expected that girl to ever sound so vulnerable." Agatha nodded to the downed man.
"You failed your second test. You have one son you treat like he is the world, your second you treat as an inconvenience. What was the point of your first test?" He looked to the enchantress.
"To learn to love." She shook her head.
"To learn how to embrace yourself and others. Only by doing that can you gain true love. Your second test was to show you that you can not let yourself judge someone based on the actions of others. I sent you a boy, who was so abused by his only living family that he almost died. You never excepted the fact that he had magic. Harry never wanted the crown, all he wanted was love. Your wife gave him that and his loyalty to her could put any other to shame." He broke down and began to cry. Agatha stood up with a deep sigh.
"I would not normally leave you like this, however your eavesdropping wife is sure to be able to handle you better. isn't that right Belle?" His head snapped up as the bathroom door opened revealing a crying Belle who nodded.
"Agatha, thank you so much. For bringing me my three miracles. I can never thank you enough, however if I could ask one thing?" The smiling enchantress looked at her and nodded.
"My sons. Will they be truly happy with the girls they have chosen?" She giggled to the former queen with a bright smile.
"Yes, they have met the ones they are meant for. Now comfort your husband, because they have plans that will be wonderful for the country. He however will not like them without changing to your attitude." She curtsied and popped away before Belle ran to her husband on the floor and they embraced as he began to truly sob. Finally realizing the lessons he thought he learned, were not what he thought.
Harry POV
I opened my eyes in my room at Agatha's and smiled. Walking into the living room I smiled.
"I am so glad to see you Aunt Agatha." I said as I hugged her tightly and she chuckled.
"You have had a very busy month, James." I blushed and nodded
"They deserve a chance." She giggled.
"Of course they do. And Ben's plan has merit as well. Now I tried to follow you there, but I do need to sleep and be myself as well. Tell me about your trip and finding your girl." I smiled before she held up a finger.
"Unedited. I did see most of the fights and risky people you talked to after all. I simply wish I had sound." I chuckled and nodded before beginning my story.
