3rd Person (P.O.V)
Fred and George Wesley were beyond frustrated as Astrid had been avoiding them the past couple of days. They cursed themselves for giving her the marauders map. They knew the castle like the back of their hand but she was able to know when they were coming she would disappear for hours on end after classes.
Astrid hated avoid both of her mates but she had so much running through her head she needed to sort it out. During her free time she had taken one of Hermione's extra journals and wrote down majority of the things she remembered.
Astrid put many spell repellent and enchantments over the journal and added some of her blood as she would be the only one to open it. It was right before curfew as she was racing through the portrait hole of the fat lady she completely forgot to put on her cloak. When she was pulled into a pair of arms as she was going to race up the stairs to her dorm.
"Where do you think your going love?". Fred question as she's stiffened up in his arms.
"Fred". Astrid whispered looking into his brown eyes.
"Why are you been hiding from us Ash?". Fred asked a bit hurt that's when she noticed George was right behind Fred with his hands in his pocket.
"I-I can't F-Fred please let me go". Astrid said desperately she wasn't ready to be in their presence mainly Fred's.
"So when you kissed us was it a prank?". Fred asked hurt as Astrid eyes widen she shook her head frantically.
"No Fred I love you both I've just been going through a few things lately". Astrid whispered loud enough for them to hear that she didn't notice the exchange looks the twins were sharing.
"We can help you Darling just talk to us you avoiding us like you've been doing has really been driving me and Fred crazy". George said stepping forward as he watched the girl he loved in the arms of his brother.
They may have shared many things but they never thought that would fall for the same girl and even agreed if she would have them to share. The magical world doesn't frown upon relationships with more than one person but it's rarely done.
"I just don't know where I would start and this isn't exactly the place to talk". Astrid said having an internal battle with herself to whether or not to tell her mates the truth or as much as she could. "Come on I know where we can be alone". Astrid said taking her cloak out of her bag it was a tight squeeze but all three manage to fit under it.
Fred and George were quiet as Astrid let them out of the Gryffindor common room down the hall to the room of requirement. She quickly got out from under the cloak walking past the wall three times as her mates looked at her worriedly until they gasped when the doors appear.
"What is this place?". Fred and George asked in awe walking in. It hurt Astrid as it had been years since she heard her mates speak in union.
"Gred Feorge welcome to the come and go room or the room of requirement". Astrid said as she showed her mates her hideaway.
"How did you find this place?". George asked looking at Astrid he and Fred knew the school like the back of their hand thanks to the map but they never managed that room.
"The room only appears to you when you really need it". Astrid said shrugging not going into anymore detail.
"Is this the place you've been disappearing to when your avoiding everyone including us?". Fred asked notice Astrid looking down at the ground.
"Yea I just needed some space to sort out some stuff I'm going through". Astrid said running her fingers through her hair.
"How much longer were you planning on avoiding us if we didn't catch you when you walked into the common room?". George asked stuffing his hands into his pocket.
"I don't know it's hard to be around Fred". Astrid whispered as her eyes filled with tears. Fred and George looked at each other confused as they managed to heard what she had said.
"Did I do something to hurt you?". Fred asked hesitantly.
"No it has to do why I've been avoiding you guys I'm not from this time where I come from Fred hasn't been around for a long time". Astrid said looking away.
"What do you mean?". Fred asked confused not liking that statement. "If you're telling the truth and your from the future why haven't you gone to Dumbledore?". Fred asked confused if Astrid truly had the information that could help win the war why would she keeping it to herself.
"I don't trust Dumbledore I haven't for a very long time not since he made me a pig for slaughter". Astrid said turning around trying to calm herself.
Even after all those years Dumbledore was still a sore subject for her it was hard to see him alive and well. He kept so many secrets to himself he never shared valuable information like the fact that she had a piece of Voldemort soul inside of her.
Astrid stuck in her own thoughts didn't notice she had tears running down her face until she felt rough fingers wiping away the tears. She was startled when she saw George looking down worried at her.
"Hey it's okay Ash we're here for you". George whispered as he was worried for the girl he loved.
"I'm tired George I don't want to do this again I've been through enough to last a lifetime but this is the only chance I have to save Fred to save us. We were never the same after we lost him you were the same". Astrid whispered as she buried her face into her husband's chest feeling him stiffen.
Finally Astrid couldn't fight the emotional turmoil she was feeling it had been years of her putting her feelings aside. She always tried to be strong for George he was a shell of the person he was in her original time.
Fred listen in carefully he was horrified by what Astrid has said. If what she said was true he wasn't going to make it to see the new millennium. He tried to remain calm as he walked over towards his brother and the woman who captured his heart. He wrapped his arms around them he still had a chance to live.
"I'm still here love we still have a chance it's the three of us together". Fred whispered in her ear causing her to let out all of her emotions as she clung onto both of her mates.
