BIRTHDAY SWITCH

AN: There'll be around 4 to 5 chapters for this story. I'll do my best to post every day or at least up until May 18, 2021 for the birthday of our beloved twins.
Chapter 2: Wish you were me
Group of students are crowding at the entrance gate and keeps on whispering. Two students are walking down at the center. Kira Yamato, dashing as always that make women swoon, he always looks fresh a very handsome man indeed. His kindness and brains are an additional factor that women flock themselves over him. But he is not the star of the day but the person walking beside him, it was his sister Cagalli Yula Athha.
Cagalli is known for as the captain of the tennis club and an activist of equality at the very young age. She was known for her protest in not forcing female students to wear skirts. She is one of the beautiful students in their academy even though she acts manlier than other male students a lot of men still confess their admiration to her. Now there will be more than that.
Cagalli is now wearing her skirt uniform. Archangel Academy uniform has three style that depends on the season one with a blazer for winter, the regular uniform and their summer uniform where they wear a vest. Cagalli is now wearing a white blouse with ad blue vest with embedded logo of the academy at her right chest and a darker blue skirt. The skirt uniform is half an inch above the knee and Cagalli is wearing a knee-high white sock. Despite covering most of her skin everyone can see her long soft and clear legs that definitely shows she is athletic.
"Ugh..there's so many people staring I hate this skirt." Cagalli mumbled
"It's your fault I thought we already reconciled." Kira said while still maintaining his smile or should people say containing his laughter as he saw his twin sister struggle.
"Stop that Cagalli, if you keep pulling down your skirt it will be crumpled" Kira said while smiling widely.
"Oh, you won this time. But I'll make sure you'll regret not stopping father from making me wear this." Cagalli
"Well, look who we have here our little miss tomboy is wearing a skirt. Is the world about to end?" A silver haired guy interrupted the twins
"Good morning Yzak"
"Good morning indeed Kira"
"So, what trouble did you make Athha?"
"Shut up Joule"
"Come on! She looks even lovelier why not always wear a skirt my lady?" A blond boy holding a basketball ball approached them.
"Pretty? Ha! Are you out of your mind Dearka or all women are people wearing skirt beautiful to your eyes?" Yzak said as he smirks and look up and down on Cagalli.
"Joule, its also not our fault that you are a 'mama's boy' and that you don't see any other female other than her." Cagalli said while her hands on her waist
"You—"
"Stop! We're all going to be late. Our class president surely won't give us exemption for the punishment." Kira meddled as they only have 5 minutes to spare and their room are on the third floor. They all run as fast as they could when they noticed the time. If a student was late on their class without any valid reason, they are required to clean the school backyard after class. Obviously, no one wants to do that so even though Cagalli is wearing a skirt she competed with the boys making sure she won't be late. With this sight a lot of students was staring to the gang passing by their room.
"Annnnnd Save!" Cagalli said as she opened the door widely.
"Good morning Cagalli, glad you came on time this—Oh!"
"Good morning Lacus, I know. Let's seat first and I'll tell you the details" Cagalli said as she fixed her hair which is super messy as of the moment.
Lacus Clyne was their Student Council Vice President and Cagalli's best friend. She has a long bubble gum pink curly hair. Lacus is a songstress and has an unrequited love for her twin brother Kira.
Kira and Yzak came but Dearka is still nowhere to be seen.
"Where is that idiot! He will clean again today and I have to wait for him!"
"Miri, you should always know that a lot of girls out there are trying to seduce him." Cagalli said before she finally sat on her seat beside the window.
"What's the relation of that on him being late?" Lacus asked
"Well, a bunch of ladies waved at him at he went to their direction in an instant." Cagalli responded
"That j3rk!" Miri said and was stomping her feet away from them. But before she could reach the door, the bell rang.
"If you want to clean the backyard you are free to go out." Said by the guy who seats next to the door.
"Oh! Come on Class President! I just want to punch him!"
"Punch him after class Miri."
"Tsk" Miri went back to her seat and just before she take her seat the door opened revealing her blond-tanned boyfriend gasping for air.
"Late"
"Wha—I was just a minute late."
"Late is late. Here is your slip and do the cleaning after class."
"Athrun! Come on! We're childhood friends! Just this time, I have a date with Miri"
"There are no friends in term of school regulations." Answered by the Athrun Zala.
The class president and also the Student Council President. He was also the captain of the basketball team. He has a fair skin tone and a midnight blue hair; he has a well-toned muscle and a very refined jaw line which makes him more famous.
These four men are actually friends since their five and they are on the top 10 most handsome men in their academy.
"Okay, Class Good morning we are about to start!" Their professor came and everyone settled down.
After their class in the morning the gang went to a different room to meet with Shiho. She was on a different class but she was close to them as she was the tennis club vice-captain.
"So, what's with the skirt?" asked Shiho. She has a very long jet-black hair that she always ties up. Like Cagalli, she is one of the students who doesn't appreciate wearing a mini skirt.
"Ugh, it was time of the month and Kira…"
"Ah…"
All four women hang out and went on the cafeteria. The four men was on the rooftop waiting for them as it was the girls schedule to buy foods this week.
"I want to see Kira's face burning. He should have at least smelled it was Wasabi not an ice cream" Shiho commented as they now walk upstairs
"But Cagalli you know Kira can't handle spicy."
"Oh! Lacus we all know you love Kira but can you please be on my side just this time? I'm in pain and had bruises!" Cagalli said as she pointed her bruises to the girls.
"Yeah, Cagalli's right stop siding on Kira! Men already knows we have this monthly yet they still pester us. Dearka always do that ugh!" Miri said as she reminisces on her own her time with Dearka. Lacus just pouted and did not say anything after that.
The four all eat together at the rooftop and talked. They're all seating in a circle where Kira is beside Lacus. Next to Lacus is Cagalli, Shiho, Miri, Dearka, Yzak and Athrun.
"No way that it hurts that bad. I mean you've been having that since what? 12? You should have gotten used to it." Dearka said after Kira shared his story on why Cagalli is wearing a skirt.
"I know right? And I just shake you a little Cagalli are you sure that bruise came from me?"
"What? Oh! How I wish you men would experience having menstruation even just for a year!" Cagalli exclaimed.
"Tsk. We are already done with the men's ritual when we're kids and all we need to do is one operation and done!" Dearka said as men laugh at his remarks (AN: I'm referring to circumcision here)
"We did suffer for a month after that operation." Yzak commented.
"A month?" Athrun asked
"Yeah? A month Yzak?"
"Wha—within a month I should say."
"pfft." Kira was holding his laughter
"Shut up. Yamato." Yzak said while blushing
"I think that's enough we both won't know how each gender feel to any of our differences" Lacus said as she can see fire on the eyes of her friends ready to knock some men out and of course Yzak who also looks like ready to hurt Kira.
"I need to go, Cagalli we need to discuss your academic performances. Please follow me to the Student Council room." Athrun said as he cleans his trash and stands up.
"Whoa…are you two dating?" Dearka remarked
"What?!" both parties replied. More like Cagalli is shouting.
"What makes you think Zala the cold-hearted nerd and Athha a tomboyish fireball would click?" Yzak asked
"Well, there's something on Zala's eyes every time he sees Athha…"
"Dude, stop! I'm going too!" Kira meddled.
"My eyes…?" Athrun muttered as Cagalli glance on him which made Athrun flinched and avert his gaze.
"Oh… I see…" Lacus said and giggled.
"What? What do you mean?" Kira immediately asked Lacus.
"Nothing, I see…by the way I also have something to do in the Student Council Room so I will go with them. No need to worry." Lacus said as she smiles sweetly to the gang.
"O—Okay…" Athrun agreed and glanced one again with Cagalli.
"Let's go!" Cagalli cheerfully said not knowing one person who is sulking.
The three are walking quietly down when Lacus suddenly stops and smiled.
"Oh my! I forgot the papers I will be working on at the classroom. I'll need to get it first. You two head first."
"What? We can accompany you there, right Athrun?"
"Huh? Oh, yeah let's go?"
"No, no it's okay I also need to go to the teachers lounge" Lacus said as she winked at Athrun.
"Oh…ah..right let's go Cagalli?"
"Alright."
"Seriously, you're just exaggerating things." Yzak said as Shiho trying to cool her head.
"Having Migrains, abdominal pain and other muscle problems are exaggeration?"
"Yeah!" Yzak said smirking
"I mean Cagalli practice every day and exercise isn't her body fit enough?" Kira asked
"Kira, being fit has nothing to do with dysmennorhea."
"Let's try kicking you b lls every day for at least seven days a month hu?" Shiho said to Yzak
"Whoa! Stop ladies…" Dearka was now trying to calm the gang. "If you do that then you and Yzak won't have any baby in the future."
"What? Who said I'll marry this woman?"
"And who said I will date you?"
"Haaaaa…. Seriously. Kira, stop pestering Cagalli just during her monthly period okay?"
"I—Fine! You should also talk to her about kicking me all the time."
Time flew fast and it's already end of the class the gang planned to tutor Cagalli to cover for her absences so they planned to go to the Athha Mansion on Saturday. Which is also a week before the birthday of the twins. Kira and Cagalli went home early since they're being punished so they're not allowed to go anywhere for the whole month.
Upon entering their home Uzumi was talking to Erica in his office with the new invention they have. It was actually a VR where a person can be transported to the place they are talking with. It is a test object so they're still checking if there's any problems they might encounter.
Since Kira, is considered genius in terms of gadgets he was called by Uzumi to give his thoughts and Cagalli to give her rather criticism to the item. Like Cagalli is there to see any hole other company might see on their item.
"So, all you need to do is where this and dial the person you want to meet and then first you will see their place then after a minute you will be transported there." Erica explained.
"I see, let me check first the formula they used for this VR." Kira said as he reviewed the computer for the item.
Like a sign Cagalli immediately questioned Uzumi about the item the cause and effect of it to human and to environment.
"Good job Cagalli, make sure to note all of that Erica to make sure that we could improve our new device." Uzumi said as Cagalli pointed out a lot of holes that might damage a person's cell with the radiation they're using.
"I could say the code they used and formula are all correct but I'm not completely sure about the quantum loophole they had on this device. You said father you already used this on plants and animal, right?" Kira asked as he stare at the VR device
"Yes, it was already been tested. And we did not see any changes from them."
"Can I try it?" Kira asked
"It might be dangerous we could ask other to try it." Erica suggested
"If something happens to them, we will have a lot of criticism so it's better if me and Kira try it." Cagalli suggested
"I won't sacrifice my children for this. We might not continue this devide if your life will be the cause." UZumi sternly said.
"I trust Kira, he said it's all good and if something happens, I know you will protect us." Cagalli sweetly said to his father.
"Okay. But if you feel something different tell us immediately."
"Okay." The twins said at the same time.
Cagalli went to her room as a target destination while Kira remained at the first floor. Erica started clicking some buttons. After she confirmed the configuration, they saw that Kira's body is like starting to evaporate and after a minute they confirmed that Kira was transported to Cagalli's room.
"Good, now let's try the both of you coming down here." Uzumi said over the phone
Erica again typed something and clicked some buttons and after a minute they saw a hole where its spitting two-person shouting.
"Kira, Cagalli are you okay?" Uzumi immediately asked
"My head it hurts…"
"Me too…"
"Okay, we stop for now both of you rest for now and we will call for a doctor to check you guys."
"Okay…"
"Princess, let's go to your room." Myrna said as she holds Cagalli's hand to support her walk.
"Huh? Myrna what do you mean? Why are you pulling me. I'm not Cagalli"
"Yeah Myrna, I'm right here."
"WHAT?" Uzumi, Erica and Myran all said
The twins looked confused and stared at each other unfortunately they see their own body infornt of them.
"Kira? Where's Kira?" Uzumi asked.
The blond girl raised her hand. Uzumi sweat. "And Cagalli…?" Erica asked as the brunette boy raised his hand.
"Oh no…" Myrna said.
