Chapter 2
Quadir was waiting on Batgirl to arrive when he turned to the corner of the living room...
"WOAH!" he almost dropped something of his.
"Hey hey hey! Relax it's just me!" Batgirl reassured him.
"Dont you knock!" He said checking his heartbeat.
"I said relax!" Batgirl raised her voice. "What you got for me this time?" She looked at his device.
"Oh this is a sound propeller. It causes a major noise disturbance. It's not lethal but it's just like Black Canary's cry", Quadir explained.
"That's... pretty cool. But...why?"
"Saw it in a movie. Thought it would be cool to see you use it".
"Okay thanks", Batgirl waved as she shot out a grappling hook from his window and swung away.
When the night came it was time for Batgirl to emerge from the shadows. As far as she knew this spider-themed criminal was an outlaw and that she went by the name Ghost Spider. She stole some new tech that had been recently made.
When she settled down on a rooftop building she heard groaning and the sounds of people getting hurt.
She rushed to see what was going on when she found people freaking out by being in the presence of the spider-themed masked criminal.
"I'm going to ask only once and you better listen. Where is the new tech being kept?"
"At Gordon Science Tech".
Batgirl jumped at her but Ghost Spider dodged her. As if she knew she was going to do that.
"You seem to be the stupid one for coming to steal from a city that's under my protection!"
"I see you treat your bad guys well", Ghost Spider joked.
Batgirl threw a batarang at her, which she bent down to dodge then got got kicked by Batgirl in the face.
"Listen, Batgirl, why don't we settle this through coffee and talk girl-to-girl".
Batgirl just ignored her and kept fighting.
"...Or maybe you could get it out of your system instead of hearing me out, but hey that's what they say about redheads, crazy and full of rage".
"Do you ever shut up?" Batgirl kicked her off the ground and she landed on her back.
"Only when I'm serious".
"So this is just a joke to you?"
"Well when you didn't do a good job imitating Dracula then I guess–woah!", She quickly moved out of her fist's way, only to be met with a foot to the chin.
After rolling backward she shifted invisible. Batgirl who was looking around cautiously and didn't expect the Ghost Spider to have tricks up her sleeve. She threw batarangs at the spot where she disappeared but she was gone. "Nice try Spider I know where you're headed".
