Until late in the evening they all stayed together and Hanji together with Levi were forced to tell them all kind of tales they could remember. Since Hanji's memories were still haze, Levi had to do most of the talking, but the more he explained the more little bits of it felt familiar for the brunette and she ended up joining the conversation. Gabi and Falco gave each other a knowing look whenever they spotted Levi showing a smile, listening closely to whatever topic Hanji was talking about. She explained what had happened to her in the past 3years and how she had survived the rumbling somehow.
Levi intensely was listening all the way until the very end of her story and in return explained to her what had happened to him.

Despite her earlier embarrassment Hanji felt.. because of all of them watching her confession and big breakdown along with her crying like a big baby into Levi's chest, to which he had to even get changed because she ruined his old shirt fully with her snot.. despite all of this she enjoyed everyone's company

"We should better go now. Look Gabi our parents will already ask where we are" Falco suddenly said.

Gabi gasped as she saw the time on the clock on the wall.

"It's already this late!? I'm sorry we have to go!"

Quickly getting up they both bowed apologetically to Levi and Hanji.

"Ah- we should bring you to the door-"

Hanji was already about to get up but Falco and Gabi pushed her back down on the sofa to sit next to Levi. He had moved himself onto the sofa a while ago and out of the wheelchair.
Something he usually never bothered to do, calling it an extra hassle, only owning the sofa for them and not for himself, however this was before a certain brunette came back into his life and he could sit next to again.

"No, need to! We know how to get out. We even have a spare key from Levi."

"Oh, really?" Hanji said surprised.

Levi nodded as reply and rubbed his temples in slight annoyance right next to her.

"Unfortunately. But they were the best choice I had left."

Hanji snickered, seeing through his facade. Everything felt the same at these moments being around him. As if these past years never happened. For some reason she could still read Levi's mind and understand him. She was glad he didn't changed.

"You like them." She whispered in a matter of fact tone only for him to hear, amused by his 'hmph' sound he gave from himself. Unable to deny it of course.

"Onyakopon it's late too. Come be an responsible adult and guide us home." Gabi said and grabbed a confused Onyakopon hand, pulling him off the sofa and dragging him with her. Falco looked nervous but understood, pushing Onyakopon from behind to follow them.

"Eh EH!? Ahh- well I suppose I can. I have a ehh.. well somewhere else to do still too!" He kinda caught on what the two teens wanted to do and went along. "Hanji-san, Levi-san I will visit again tomorrow. Have a nice evening."

"Oh... okay... than we will talk tomorrow."
Watching the three leave a little sad Hanji sighed. She wanted to talk a lot more with them. But if they needed to leave there was nothing she could do about it. She still didn't release Onyakopon was her driver and was supposed to stay with her and bring her back until it was too late.
The front door clicked shut and the room felt silent until Hanji screeched as her brain finally caught on with the situation! Jumping up from the sofa in a panic now.
"Wait WAIT! I am supposed to go too! This isn't my home! He left me!? How do I get back!? Where do I sleep!?"

"So noisy..." grabbing on the backside of her clothes Levi forcefully pulled her back onto the soft sofa. "Stay here."

"Levi you don't understand! I came with a plane and I cannot fly a plane back- Huh?"

Her rambling abruptly stopped.
Turning her head around her good eye landed on Levi which was having his head turned away from her and looked out of the window instead.

"I'm not repeating myself. This is your home too, shitty glasses."

"Oh...uhm... I will take you up on that offer then. Thank you." At this moment Hanji was glad he wasn't facing her because she could feel her cheeks heating up. Now she was the one avoiding looking in his direction.

The silence was getting awkward.
They were survivors, they fought for almost their whole life but why was getting their feelings across so hard?

"I uhm... I should probably take a shower before getting ready for bed. I know you would nag my ear off knowing I would go to sleep in my sweated through clothes."
Laughing the awkward silence off Hanji stood up.

Levi watched her quietly.

"You know where the bathroom is. Towels are in the bathroom cabinet. Take your time."

"Okay thanks. I will uhh go then."

Without looking at him even she ran away into the bathroom.
Inside the bathroom Hanji closed the door quietly. Leaning against the door with her back she sighed and slide it down until she sat on the ground.

How pathetic can she be?
And how embarrassing.

Just than memories flashed in her mind as she sat on the ground just like this in a forest right behind an injured Levi confessing her deepest feelings to him to live together with him just the two of them.

'I'm not repeating myself. This is your home too, shitty glasses.'

Recalling Levi's earlier's words about her cheeks flamed up hard and she hid her face in her hands.

"Levi you're so unfair... my memories are still haze unlike yours... my heart isn't going to calm down at this rate."

Taking a long shower didn't help Hanji much to calm down if not at all. Using his shampoo, smelling like him... knowing this is what Levi used all the time... it drove her mind more crazy and gave her fantasies she really should not have!

Trying to drive away those thoughts and focusing on washing her body gave her mind bitter memories. Looking down at her body, moving the washcloth over her tattered skin, the many scars and feeling the uneven rough skin in the reddish darker color than her normal skin tone.. clearly standing out.
Not one one place but everywhere on her body. The front, the back, her arms and legs and even on her left cheek.
There was not one place where she was not ugly. Her eye she was able to hide but this she could not hide.
Growing out her brown hair did hide her back or at least for her mind it did hide part of her body but even so this was not the solution.
For this exists no solution.

What she wasn't thinking about was what she should wear after the shower.
She wanted to dry herself off and wear her old clothes again but they were gone?
The whole clothes basket was gone?

"Was he inside...?" Her cheeks turned pink once again.

Having nothing else to wear she had to step out with a long white towel wrapped around her torso.

"Levi?"

Looking around she saw no one and heard no wheelchair moving around either.

"Levi?" She called out again.

"Bedroom."

All rooms for Levi where on the same floor due to his wheelchair. Walking again out of the living room she took a turn to the right and carefully opened the bedroom door, taking a peak inside.

Levi sat on his bed. His wheelchair next to it. Seems like he already moved himself to the bed. He had taking off his shirt already and was shirtless.

„It's not like I never saw you naked before. Don't get modest on me now, shitty glasses."

Blushing Hanji stepped inside, pulling her towel in place and keeping it there just in case holding with one hand onto it.

"You took my clothes away?"

"They needed to get washed. I put them along my own clothes in the washing machine. Marley has some interesting machines that come in handy." Levi explained in a matter of fact tone. "Go to my closet and take out something for you to wear. We know it fits enough for you to wear."

Pouting Hanji just did that and rummaged through his personal closet, just grabbing a simple black shirt and a pair of boxers from him. He even stole her underwear after all.

"This isn't the point... we aren't... in the military anymore Levi."

Having what she needed she wanted to leave quickly to get changed, her hand already on the door handle as Levi stopped her, calling out to her.

"Change here."

Her body froze and her heart for certain felt like skipping a beat or two.

"W-what?"

Turning her head around she was facing a dead serious Levi. His expression didn't show any hint of lust however but something else. Unanswered questions swirling in his mind, in both of their minds and the raven clearly had enough with the kind of game they were playing right now.

"Show me. You only told me what happened but now show me. I want to judge for myself and not what you think."

He commanded for Hanji to stand naked next to him almost you could say.
So he was aware she was running away from him wasn't he?

"There is nothing to see, pervert Levi." She blushed, her grip on her towel around her waist only becoming more tight.

"If there is nothing to see than show me." Levi retorted and crossed his arms over his chest. "I won't let you leave until I see it."

At this Hanji scoffed. "You cannot even walk anymore how will you stop me?"

She was aware how rude this sounded and immediately felt guilty, but Levi didn't seemed to mind her defensive outburst.

"Don't test me Hanji. I can still crawl after you and get you. In any case I will get you and forcefully yank this towel off your body."

Imaging an angry Levi crawling on the ground after was somehow hilarious and very terrifying at the same time Hanji concluded. Seeing Levi was not budging from his words she groaned in defeat.
Making her way to the window she closed the curtains and Levi in return turned on the bedside lamp. It gave them both enough light to be able to see what he wanted to see even in this darkness of the room they were now standing in.

Standing in the middle of the room, right in front of the bed she faced him, her lips pursed and blushing even more than before.

"Your an asshole."

"Have heard of that before."

His counter arguments were just annoying her more. She should just get this over with quickly. It's Levi after all... he will see her ugly scared body and she will get dressed. No big deal. Right?

Slowly opening the towel she let it fall unceremoniously on the ground. Her arms immediately wrapping over her breasts.

At first she wasn't even looking at him ans instead to the side, waiting for any snarky remark or rude words but instead all she got was silence and the feeling of his good eye staring down on her, all over her body.

After a minute or two of complete silence Hanji felt really uncomfortable. The silence was killing her.

"Are you done yet checking out my body? Can I get dressed now?"

"Sit down next to me. I want to touch them."

Resigning already to her fate she marched up to Levi and sat down next to him. Her legs were tightly pressed together.

Her body shivered as she felt one of Levi's fingers run over a scar on her arm.
Levi touched it carefully and gently, gliding over her whole arm down to feel the difference until he reached her hand held suddenly intertwined their fingers. At least all the fingers he still had he used.
Looking down at their hands Hanji's face flushed into a deep shade of red.

"What are you doing Levi?"

"Does this bother you?" Confused Hanji watched as Levi held their hands up together and showing her how his missing fingers made it impossible for him to hold her hand like he used to. "My missing fingers I am talking about."

"Why should this bother me?

Confused Hanji observed his next move as he let go of her hand and instead placed her had on his big scar, forcing her index finger to trace over it.

"And those? It's pretty big and cut all over my eye making it go blind."
Next he pointed at his wheelchair.
"Or this thing. Considering my leg is useless and I am unable to bend it. I can stand on it for a while but not walk. My muscles got munched and bitten off by a titan. I was lucky I didn't lost my leg."

"Levi why are you telling me this!? Why would I be bothered by this? You saved humanity and sacrificed your whole body for this world!"

Raising his left eyebrow Levi frowned.

"And you did nothing less. I could care less about your looks and how ugly you became." He stopped releasing this came out wrong and clicked his tongue. "If you think so not that I think you are ugly. Just a mess like you always had been. Nothing like I cannot deal with."

His rude words made her grunt and a chuckle escaped her lips seeing how bothered and helpless expression for a moment became until he collected his next words.

"What are you trying to say Levi...?"

Biting her lower lip she waited. She needed to hear it from himself. Anticipating it. As stupid as it sounded. In the forest she spoke it out and they had this dedicating heart reply but this was before her body burned to 50% down.
Was it okay to hope still?
3years had passed after all.
She needed to hear it from him.

"I need to hear it Levi..."

Her eyes were begging, searching his face for any answer.

Taking a deep breath Levi exhaled. He had to tell her it seems.

"This apartment is not very big but big enough for the two of us. It's not the forest but... we are outside paradise.. if you want to... you want to run away with me now?"

A warm smile spread over her lips. It was for Levi the most sweetest thing she had ever heard. It was enough for her chest to grow warm and for butterflies flutter in her stomach.

"I would love to."

A sudden pull and Hanji found herself sitting on Levi's lap, embracing her from behind. His lips found one of her scars pressing a soft kiss onto it.

"L-levi?"

"Shut up. I won't let you go... and I will teach you about your scars..."

Gasping she felt his hand go dangerously low trying yo pry her legs open.
Was he holding himself back so much?
It's like he turned into a different person.

"Levi stop it!"

Forcing him away she managed to switch their positions around. His three years of no military training still reduced his strength a little bit. Pushing him backwards, his back hit the back and Hanji was pinning him down now, sitting with her naked body on top of him. She could clearly feel the bulge she sat onto inside his pants.
A proud feeling made itself spread inside her whole system to know despite her burns and scars she could make him feel this way.
The person below her didn't look any less attractive. He was maybe a little weaker but he was still Levi.

He was waiting, not making a move or complained that she was pinning him down.
Raising his arms above his head Hanji smirked and bend down so her lips were hovering over his own.

"Can I lead this time?"

"Do as you wish."

Gosh she wasn't thinking today she would end up in Levi's bed and have sex with him, on top of it becoming this excited over it.

"Tell me if I hurt you by accident..." bending down she pressed her lips onto his own.

What should she do first?
Her hand traveled down his arms to his torso trying to memorize the feeling and future down his abdomen until reaching his pants, opening his belt.

The next morning Levi learned one thing.
First to stop stop Hanji to suck him dry this hard after a three years break of any woman... he was still exhausted.
And second to take away the spare key from Gabi and Falco the next time he sees them.
His ears were still ringing from the loud shriek Hanji did as the two brats stood in the bedroom and Gabi was having her shut grin on her face, talking about getting 20dollars from Falco for winning a bet, while Levi pulled with one hand the blanket up to cover them both and his other placed on Hanji's mouth to mute her. She was blushing furiously and even he was having red cheeks.

"OUT NOW!"

Recovering Hanji grabbed a pillow and threw it at the two until they finally rushed out and left.
As they were alone again, Hanji looked at Levi before she buried her face into his face and started to laugh hysterically.

Groaning Levi gave up and pulled her closer. Maybe he could shut her up like this.

"Welcome to my life Hanji... with these two shitty brats."

Some sounds in the kitchen could be heard. Maybe they wanted to be nice and got breakfast for him like they sometimes did.

"They are cute..." Hanji said after she calmed down and smiled.

"They aren't. I always worry they burn my place down. When they were younger they tried making pancakes once. Gabi is like you. A horrible mess."

"And you like them. And me according to last night.." leaning up she pressed a kiss on his cheek, right on his scars.

"Hanji.. we should get up.. I need a bit more time."

Right. In bed Hanji almost forgot but he was not able to walk anymore. This made things different for him.
Pecking him on the lips Hanji just hugged him closer to herself.

"I will help you. I can carry you too. I can even bath you now. I can finally repay you for all the years you knocked me out Levi! Isn't this great!? And I will push you around in your wheelchair wherever you want to go. I can even help you go to the toilet-"

Levi blushed.
"I can take care of myself. Don't baby me now! Stop being such a pervert! Where did that insecure woman from yesterday go!?"

"Levi is embarrassed... and this woman disappeared as you showed me you love me... because I was scared you would not like me anymore I think... not how others view me but you..."

Poking his cheek Levi hastily slapped her finger away, glaring at her. But with his red cheeks it only made him look more adorable. Like an angry devil gnome.

"Stop it." After a pause he added. "Glad to hear you feel better at least..."

A yelp in the kitchen and Falco screaming Gabi's name erased all of the romantic mood the two adults had.

"Okay, I think we should get up. I don't want to be homeless with you in case they really burn this place down." Hanji said and chuckled.

"I agree."
