Dobby
I have been waiting for this moment, the moment when I get the honour to meet 'Harry Potter'. In the morning, I glanced at him for a few minutes and had to run away because of the muggle. Oh! how delightful it is to jump on a bed finally I get some time away from the Malfoys. I stop bouncing when I see a skinny figure who stands right in front of me.
I bow and say,"It is my privilege to be here sir". He stands in astonishment and confusion.
"Thank you! but can you introduce yourself", Harry asks with eagerness. "Sure sir, I'm Dobby, a house elf, I didn't mean to scare you by entering your room abruptly, however I'm here to warn you", I explain.
"Warn me about what?", he asks curiously. "I don't know where to begin from", I say while roaming around the room.
"Dobby why don't you just sit down", he suggests.
"Oh! sir I have heard a lot about your greatness but today I have witnessed it. No wizard has ever treated me as an equal", I say.
Harry Potter is different from all the wizards that I have worked for so far. The Malfoys treat me like trash. They have taught me to just punish myself when I make a mistake. So I have to bang my head against the cupboard.
"Dobby stop!", insists Harry. I went onto his desk and hit myself with the desk lamp because I almost criticised the family that I serve.
"Bad Dobby, bad Dobby".
"Dobby, please control your emotions, if Mr Dursley hears us then he would burst out with indignation", he requests.
When Harry tries to soothe me, he hears someone tramping towards his room, so he grasps my unclean pillowcase and places me in the cupboard. Mr. Dursley opens the door. I have tried opening the cupboard several times but Harry didn't let me out as he is talking to someone. It is dark inside, it is adding more to my anxiousness, I am worried whether he would believe me or not. I am thinking what could I do if Harry refuses to stay back. Maybe I can do some mischief to get him in trouble. I could have saved Harry from the scoldings but for now what is more important is to convince him to stay away from Hogwarts.
Mr Dursley heads downstairs and returns back to his jokes. I try explaining to him that he should not return to Hogwarts as terrible things are plotted against him. I heard Lucious Malfoy talking about it, but I can't tell him in detail because I know he is brave, he thinks no matter what happens wizards like Dumbledore and Hagrid are there to save his back but who knows what can happen to him. I can't take the chance to put him in danger even when I am aware of it. I have tried my best to stop him, for instance keeping the letters with me. I'm ashamed to do this but I have to take away his chance of being happy. Today I have noticed Harry's greatness and his stubbornness. I mean he treats me with respect even after knowing the fact that I'm a house elf. He is stubborn though, it's hard to convince him, he'll keep asking questions until everything is crystal clear. His friends are so special to him that he can argue with an elf to get those letters back. I wish I could be one of his friends, he would surely treat me with love.
Without considering too much about his feelings I splash the pudding into pieces with a snap and the muggles are covered with cream. I vanish so that the muggles don't freak out by my presence.
The situation worsens when an owl arrives with a letter. The Mason couldn't handle more drama so they made their way out. Mr Dursley makes him read the letter. It basically says that underage wizards aren't permitted to perform magic outside school. After hearing this the Dursleys are in seventh heaven. Mr Dursley grabs Harry's hand forcefully and takes him back to his room.
"Harry Potter, I'll make sure you never return to that wizardry school", Mr Dursley utters cruelly.
The next day Harry wakes up when he hears some vibrations, and he sees that Uncle Vernon is up on the ladder, and is drilling on the walls of the window. He places bars on it. As Harry gazes out the window Mr Dursley gives a cunning look which boils Harry's blood even more. He also fits a cat-flap which makes his escape more difficult.
