Chapter 2

As a princess, Anna never stayed in one place for more than two minutes. She would go wherever her feet took her. She never cared about the scolds and bruises she would get everyday. She would just enjoy every moment she could. Because she never liked the idea of being alone. She would go around the castle and greet everyone she sees on her way. Her mouth was a non stop radio. She would share her adventures with her parents every night without leaving a single detail.

Even after the Great Thaw, she never changed. Why would she? No one was happier than her. The gates were open wide, she had Kristoff, Sven and Olaf. And most of all she got her sister back. She would take Kristoff with her downtown. She would make new friends. The kids would always plead with her to play with them. After that she would cuddle with her sister and tell her how the day went. Her sister albeit being exhausted would listen to each and every word she uttered.

But now she was just sitting there stiffly, waiting for her dear sister to return. It's been two days since the fight. Two days since she saw her sister's face. She felt awful for what she had said to Elsa. She couldn't sleep peacefully for two nights. She would always take a paper to write something so that gale would give it to her. But she didn't know what to write.

"She is not coming isn't she?", she asked her friends who were busy getting ready for the game night. "Relax.", Kristoff told her. "She is your sister Anna. Sisters fight and that's natural.", he said, taking his seat beside her.

"Do you know that fighting with a person indicates that we are growing closer to them?", Olaf said with a giggle. "But wait, I have never fought with Elsa. Does that mean I am not close with her?"Olaf asked the pair who were sitting on the couch.

Kristoff just ignored him. "Anna, don't worry. Elsa will come here soon. We just have to wait.", he said, squeezing Anna's hand with affection. "But she usually comes a few minutes earlier before we start the game.", Anna said worriedly. "Maybe she is just busy with something.", Kristoff suggested. "Or maybe she will just stay there because she is mad with Anna. Or maybe she will shut out Anna again.", Olaf gasped and continued, "Wait if she shuts Anna, she will shut me out too. What will I do!?"Olaf asked, panicking.

"Olaf will you just zip that mouth of yours?", Kristoff shut him up seeing his girlfriend panic. Olaf made a gesture of zipping his mouth. "Look Anna. Elsa is not going to shut you out again. Everything is going to be fine. After she comes here just talk to her. You guys will be alright.", he said smiling at her.

But just after he uttered the word 'fine', Anna felt the castle shake a bit. She first thought it was just her imagination but suddenly she heard a low rumbling sound. She quickly stood up to see what it was but then the ground began to shake. "What is happening?"she asked, alarmed. The shaking then went violent. She couldn't stand anymore. Kristoff caught her in time and shakily led her under a table. The shaking caused the books and portraits to fall on the floor.

Sven took Olaf by his nose and went away to a safer place before anything more bad could happen. Anna saw through the window. She saw the four symbols of the spirits. They appeared on the sky for a fraction of seconds and with a flash it disappeared. For a couple of minutes the place just shook. And then everything went still. "What the hell just happened here?", Kristoff asked Anna with wonder. Anna shook her head and ran towards the courtyard.

After she came out, she saw the mighty earth giants surrounding Arendelle, blocking the moon light and making the place fully dark. What are they doing here? She saw her people surrounding the castle with lanterns in their hands, looking at the earth giants.

Then she heard rumbling noises. The ground shook again. But this was something different. And she knew who they were. The Trolls.

"Pabbie!", she called out. "Anna! I'm so relieved that everyone is okay.", he said, taking her hand. "What is happening? Why are they here? And where is Elsa?!", she asked him, clutching his hand tightly.

"Anna, you have to listen carefully to what I am about to tell you now. These things are happening because the spirits have sensed something that is dangerous. They have sensed that something wrong is about to happen. That is why the earth giants are surrounded here.", he said to her cautiously.

Danger?! "Where is Elsa?", she asked him, wishing that she was okay. "Anna, Elsa is gone…. for now.", he told her, desperately trying to make her understand. "Gone? What do you mean gone? She can't be gone! Where is she?", she asked him panicking by what she just heard now.

"I don't know. She will not be found for a period of time. She is being guarded by the four spirits. She will be brought to you when the time has come.", he explained to her.

"Pabbie yo-you are scaring me. What happened? Why is she being guarded? Did something happen to her?", she asked him fearing the worst. Pabbie sighed. "By the things that are happening right now, I am guessing that something has happened to her.", he said to her looking into her eyes.

"Is she...is she okay?", she asked him tearfully. "As long as her creations are alright then she is fine." Anna turned her head to see Olaf if he was okay. For a brief second her heart just stopped when she didn't find him. Just then Kristoff brought Olaf with him. "Anna he's here.", he said running towards her. "Olaf! Are you okay?", Anna asked him, scooping him up into her hands.

Olaf made a nod and gave her a thumbs up. "Do you feel dizzy or faint?" And Olaf shook his head. "Why aren't you speaking? Is something wrong?", she asked him, fearing that something would happen. Then Olaf gestured Kristoff then his mouth and pouted. Kristoff facepalmed. "My god Olaf. You can unzip it now.", he said to him annoyed. Olaf unzipped it and thanked him.

Anna turned to Pabbie. "Pabbie can you tell us what happened there. Please.." Pabbie thought for a moment and said,"Anna I cannot show or tell you what happened to Elsa. Even I am not revealed. Because nature thinks that it will become a threat to Northuldra and Arendelle. I don't know what happened there. But I will tell you these.", he said, taking his steps closer to Anna.

"Greed and Pride will rise. A heart full of vengeance will rise. Innocent lives will be taken. The sisters will be endeavoured to split apart. But the bridge must be strong. For if it breaks, it will be the end of the world.", he said with a warning.

Her eyes trailed upon the earth giants, standing still guarding them. She still didn't know what just happened. She felt Kristoff's arms around her. "Anna no matter what. I will be here with you whenever you need me.", he told her, holding her tightly. "Yeah! I will be with you and give you warm hugs whenever you need me. And together we will defeat Hans!", Olaf told her, lifting his hands up in triumph. Kristoff just shook his head.

He heard every word that Pabbie said. He didn't know what was going to happen. But even if it was Hans himself, he will protect Anna at all cost. He saw her turn towards him with a grateful smile. "Thank you Kristoff", she said to him. He just held her tight, never letting her go.
