CHAPTER 2:

The league trinity showed up at the emergency meeting that J'onn had called to talk about the girl who showed up, Batman asked for the report as soon as he arrived, Wonder Woman looked concerned, and Superman too.

J'onn and Tornado red spoke the report and Flash seemed strangely beside himself. And that was justified when J'onn spoke about what he saw in the girl's memories.

'' She is the daughter of Richard Grayson. ''

'' SHE IS WHAT? ''

Clark's mouth opened and Diana looked like she was going to pass out.

'' Red Tornado readings indicate that she's from another dimension and her memories match that. I accessed old and new memories. In them, we all show up and most importantly, you and Robin show up much more often, and in the ones where you show up, she calls you 'daddy' and 'grandpa'. '' J'onn clarified, but that didn't undo the surprise of the trio.

'' I asked the team to send a blood sample and they sent it, it's under analysis right now and the results should arrive soon. '' Flash commented when no one else spoke.

Finally regaining his composure, Batman asked. '' A portal did you say? ''

They nodded.

'' And your mind hasn't been changed. ''

''No.''

'' Does she know what year it's in her dimension? ''

'' According to her memories, the year she came was 2019, but she didn't know Artemis or Megan or Kaldur, so I don't think it's from a timeline similar to ours. And Robin looked to be at least 25 years old. ''

Batman nodded and took a deep breath, beside him Clark and Diana were still looking at him in surprise, not that he wasn't surprised by this, but they were still frozen in place. They remained silent until the results arrived, Bruce himself read them, and reread them.

Clark read over the bat's shoulder, and knew that Diana was also reading, but it was hard to believe, even though this girl was from another universe, it was very hard to believe.

'' So… who's going to tell Robin? '' Clark asked.

His response was silence as Batman got up and left the room. The bat stopped before leaving. '' Notify the team and try to talk to the girl, calm her down. If someone shows up, confirm ten times to make sure they are really people of her size. ''

'' Notify the team? But Batman ... and he left, great! '' Flash shook his head.

Batman and Robin appeared on the mountain fifteen minutes later, Robin looking paler than usual.

Wonder Woman and Superman were sitting on the couch watching the team playing with the girl, leaving her distracted, both delighted with her, Mar'i was literally the youngest female version of Dick, even though they didn't know him at that age.

The 13-year-old swallowed hard when he saw the girl, she had some of his features, mouth, eye shape and hair were the same as his and the rest he assumed was from her mother, whoever she was.

'' Hello daddy. '' Wally burst out laughing when he saw him.

Artemis was also smiling. '' I didn't know someone could be so much like their father, but this one takes the prize, even though she doesn't play with the English language. ''

This seemed to make the boy come back to himself a little more. '' I don't play, I improve the English language. '' He approached his friends and the girl, no, Mar'i looked at him carefully before going back and looking at the wonder woman.

'' Is this daddy? ''

Diana smiled and nodded.

Something about him melted with that, this girl had his mother's name, or a version of her name, she was very cute. Without a doubt the daughter of his counterpart.

'' Ok, now is the moment of truth. '' Wally interrupted the moment, getting slapped on the back of the head by Artemis. '' Hey! But coming back, who is the tallest in your world, Mar'i? Me or Daddy? '' He pointed to Robin, who grew even whiter, but a little bit amused.

'' Dad is the tallest. ''

The team, and a few mentors laughed.

Batman looked at the other mentors around the room, apparently the news ran as fast as Flash and they wanted to see the daughter of alternate Robin, it was a miracle that none of them were called to save the world or their cities. '' Did you explain it to her? '' He asked the pair on the couch.

'' She is very intelligent, she accepted very quickly that she was in a place similar to her home, but not exactly her home. She is very polite, Robin educated her well. '' Superman replied with a smile.

Robin was now talking to the girl and everyone could not help comparing the two, the girl was floating in front of the boy to stand in front of him, they looked alike.

'' Did she say anything else? Children this age tend to talk. '' Batman sat down while watching his son with his 'granddaughter?'. This was strange, Robin was too young for that.

'' She said she was in the watchtower with Wally, who is the Flash of her dimension, he was watching her while you were in a meeting with us, her parents are on mission in space, that's why she was with you, you had a meeting with the league and took she with you. '' Superman started.

'' When Zatanna and her son arrived at the tower, also for the meeting, the boy was left with Mar'i and Wally, he was testing some magic. The next thing she knows is that she is in a room full of people, some of whom she doesn't know. The first one she recognized was Superboy, who she calls Conner, he adopted the name now, everyone on the team calls him that, he liked it. Apparently the Kents are very united with the bats there. '' Canary continued, Wonder Woman looked at the girl.

Flash who was behind the sofa of the three asked. '' Zatanna also has kids there, man what a strange place. ''

'' Different timeline Flash. '' Diana replied.

Batman can't help but give a blue scout morale lesson. '' Just as it looks like Conner was accepted by Superman over there. ''

'' Batman ... '' Superman whispered tiredly.

'' Who is her mother? '' M'gann asked, drawing the attention of the four.

'' Who do we know who's an alien and looks like her? '' Artemis smirked at the boy wonder, who blushed.

'' I don't know anyone who looks like her. '' Robin replied.

'' Dad said he met Mom in the middle of a battle. The Teen Titans saved her and then she joined the team too! '' She looked at the couch, smiling when she saw Batman. '' Hi grandpa. '' She flew up to him and hugged him.

Batman was unresponsive again and the room kept on laughing, it was not good to laugh at the bat. Bruce put an arm around the girl before she returned to Robin's side.

'' Teen Titans? '' Wally asked.

'' The team that daddy is one of the leaders. ''

'' Who gave the team this name? '' Superboy asked. He really felt comfortable with the girl and she also looked comfortable, considering she was more talkative.

'' Aunt Donna. The first wonder girl. ''

Diana asked cautiously. '' Donna ... Troy? ''

'' Yes, she and Dad are two of the team leaders. ''

Clark turned to the Amazon, all the room's attention on her. ''You know her?''

'' She is my little sister. '' She replied. '' She wanted to come to the world of men months ago, but she changed her mind, she has no desire to be a super heroine here, otherwise she would be on the team. ''

The conversation became comfortable and calm from there, Robin was still quieter than usual, but that was to be expected, Megan was playing with Mar'i while Superboy watched her, ready to attack anything that hurt the girl, the adults chatted while watching the team, most of them still incredulous that this girl was Robin's daughter.

Before anyone could ask more, a noise made them get up.
