The House In The Tree
ঔঔঔ
In the backyard of his house was a tall tree, possibly the tallest in Whispy Woods, and in the branches of the tree sat a treehouse. It wasn't that big, it wasn't that tall, but it was nice and it was still holding up after three years. It had a balcony too and a easy way to get to it as long as Escargoon kept his treehouse cleaned.
His treehouse was where Escargoon could go and escape too when things were going bad when Elieen and Estelle abandoned him. He could read his books and wish he was there instead of the world that he lived in now. Well, except for the Friend Hiding From Me series, which was a book series about murder mystery and every few chapters in each six books that were published so far, there would be just that one character or more who would have a decent character development throughout the book and be killed in middle of the book or at the end.
And when Escargoon climbed up the ladder into his treehouse, he immediately grabbed book 3 and sat himself in his chair and opened his book where he had last left off last week. And in the house in the tree branches, he read for as long as he wanted.
